Keywords of Search Engine Optimization based on Corpus

With the development of network, keywords have become an important way of retrieval, which is the window for academic papers to enter circulation and citation. Therefore, the selection of keywords is very important to improve the retrieval rate. Based on this, this paper carries out a corpus based search engine optimization keyword research. Based on one million English corpora, this paper analyzes and studies 3933 key words from the definition and function of keywords, the characteristics of keywords, selection methods, arrangement order, composition, quantity and writing format. It also analyzes the algorithm and ranking principle of search engine, discusses the optimization of website structure, keywords and single page, the punishment of search engine and the rescue method after being punished by search engine. According to the statistical research on the frequency of key words, the number of keywords is mainly 1-2 words, accounting for 90% of the total number. It can be seen that the search engine optimization technology used in the research of keyword optimization in the website can improve the website ranking and realize the value of the website.

An investigation of task characteristics and users’ evaluation of interaction design in different online health information systems

This paper addresses the importance of improving users’ satisfaction and efficiency for obtaining health information through health information systems. In order to understand how task characteristics, such as type, complexity, and difficulty, affect user interaction with online health information systems in China, this paper investigates if and how various types of task and information systems lead to different user experience, and, how tasks affect users’ evaluation of the interaction design of specific systems. A user experiment was carried out with 24 participants completing two types of tasks with two levels of complexity on three popular health information systems in China. The two types of tasks comprise a high objective complexity task and a medium complexity task. The three selected health systems include the 39 Health Website, Quick Doctors, and Good Doctor Online. Both quantitative and qualitative data were analyzed. The results indicate that the difference of both tasks and systems affect users’ judgment concerning task difficulty and complexity, as well as users’ evaluation of the interaction design of the systems. In order to better assist users with obtaining health information, this paper provides suggestions for improving the interaction design of health information systems from four aspects: website structure and information organization, webpage display, usability, and system performance. The limitations and future work are also discussed.

Ontology-Based Analysis of Website Structure for Benchmarking in Retail Business

With the growing trend of digital transformation, electronic business has become a crucial part of business operations for many companies. Some of the most critical steps in successful transformation pertain not only to data and information acquisition and digitalization but also to adequate publishing and organization of these information resources. Companies share information through their websites, so the structuring of the web content becomes critical during the digital transformation of business. In this paper, the authors present a conceptual model of the managerial tool that is based on semantic analysis of web sites in order to obtain information about the structure of web sites in a particular domain. The resulting ontological model contains information about best practices in web information organization and can be a valuable resource for management when deciding on the organization of their own web content. The system is based on grounded theory and uses current information retrieval methods, natural language processing, semantic networks, and ontologies.

Analysis of customer behaviour using web usage mining

This paper attempts to figure out the concealed data and establish user Behaviour online by exploiting the online as a source for data collection. With the assistance of this information, user Behaviour can be predicted very easily. Free tool like similar web and page score were used to analyze user pattern on the web site of the particular establishment. These tools attempt to conduct mining on the web in an independent manner. The experimental result emphasizes a clear way to surf through the web and enhance the design of the web. The main objective of conducting this study on websites of the different polytechnics in Federal Republic of Nigeria is to discern the pattern of Behavioural expressions and user characteristics so that institutional establishments can enhance their website structure and may transfer additional information in an applicable and timely manner.

The article aims at monitoring the information content of the websites of municipalities based on the case of Kemerovo Region-Kuzbass, one of the subjects of the Siberian Federal District. The main assessment criteria include such indicators as availability of regulatory information on the website, basic information about the municipality, information about the reception of citizens, thematic range and frequency of filling websites with information, availability of special interactive features, and others. This kind of research is relevant due to the need for further development of democratic practices at the regional level as the official websites of municipalities, along with developing social networks, are today a significant communication channel between the authorities and the population. As before, official websites allow solving a number of communication issues: they disseminate information about current events, ensure the work of “virtual reception offices”, provide an opportunity to make a request or file a complaint about the poor performance of their duties by public utilities. In addition, high-quality and timely updating of information on the websites of municipalities does not only affect the public sentiment with regard to representatives of the municipal level, but also shapes public assessment of the work of all authorities at the regional level – the parliament, the Government of Kuzbass and the head of the region. The monitoring results made it possible to identify a number of recommendations to the regional and municipal authorities of the region, in particular, the need to create a unified modern format of the website structure for all municipalities with high-quality, attractive appearance, the need to unify the structure of official sites for the convenience of both finding information and working with it, and creating special needs versions of websites for the visually impaired (when such versions are absent)

Digital cultural heritage of rural tourism facilities in Poland

PurposeAt the turn of 2018 and 2019, a certain era in the history of Polish Internet came to an end. Most of the websites of rural tourism facilities hosted on free servers no longer exist; however, the very phenomenon has significantly distinguished itself in the promotion of rural tourism in Poland. The paper presents archaic websites or rural tourism facilities in Poland as digital cultural heritage assets. Its purpose is to propose attributes potentially indicative of content or phenomenon being part of digital cultural heritage.Design/methodology/approachIn total, 211 websites of rural tourism facilities in Poland, hosted on free servers, were analysed. The study investigated digital artefacts, i.e. only the websites that no longer exist but whose archival copies are found at the Internet Archive (IA).FindingsThe structure of most websites of rural tourism facilities was based on tables. None of the websites were responsive. The graphics of 132 websites (65%) were never changed, with the oldest recorded copies dating back to 2001 and the newest ones to 2018. On many websites, components that are relatively rarely found these days were noted, e.g. “marquee”-type “floating” objects or online surveys.Originality/valueThe phenomenon of using free-of-charge hosting services by rural tourism facilities in Poland in the years 2004–2012 is part of the history of Polish Internet and an example of digital cultural heritage. Archaic websites of rural tourism facilities in Poland are digital artefacts but not all of them have cultural values. In total, three groups of attributes are proposed that can be important for determining whether a website, content or phenomenon can be considered digital cultural heritage assets.

URL normalization and assessing website structures in higher education websites

PurposeThis study aims to explore the character and attainment of an effective URL system by expanding the concept of URL normalization, originally connected to machine-reading access of web pages, to form a broader understanding of URL systematization that includes user-focused cognitive and practical elements.Design/methodology/approachA revised understanding of URL normalization will be used to critically analyzed URLs of main admissions pages from M1 universities, as designated by the Carnegie Foundation.FindingsThe study found that very few institutions implemented well-organized systems of Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) and redirects and that many included unintelligible and impractical URLs that would hinder the effective use of their websites.Practical implicationsA broader understanding of URL systematization will result in more effective website design. URLs must serve an indexical function pointing to a unique web resource, whatever the URL's format. However, URLs should also consider human usability issues and strive to be simple, short, communicable, intelligible and ultimately useful as part of social interactions. Poorly designed URLs create frustration, if not failure, by being difficult to use, confusing or interminable. An effective URL system should also include redirects to anticipate alternate, meaningful URLs that are different from the canonical path. The framework and recommendations arising from this study are applicable to many website structures.Originality/valueThe expanded understanding of the concept of URL normalization and subsequent evaluation principles can be used to assess the overall coherence and completeness of the website in general, thus improving website usability.

Quality Analysis of Online Patient Resources for Hepatocellular Carcinoma.

This study aims to evaluate the quality of online hepatocellular carcinoma (primary liver cancer) resources by using a validated tool to determine the strengths and limitations of hepatocellular carcinoma Web sites designed for patient education. In recent years, online health information-seeking behavior has become more prevalent. Meanwhile, hepatocellular carcinoma incidence rates have also increased. However, there is currently limited literature assessing the quality of online hepatocellular carcinoma information. The term "hepatocellular carcinoma" was searched using the search engine Google and the meta-search engines Dogpile and Yippy. A validated rating tool was used to assign quality scores to 100 Web sites based on the domains of Web site affiliation, accountability, interactivity, structure and organization, readability, and content quality. Overall quality scores were tallied for all Web sites. Noncommercial hepatocellular carcinoma Web sites received significantly higher overall quality scores compared with their commercial counterparts. Overall, 30% of the Web sites identified their author(s), 42% cited sources, and 33% were updated within the past 2 years. The majority of Web sites utilized at least 1 interactive feature and 4 structural tools. Average readability was at a grade 11.8 level using the Flesch-Kincaid grading system, which is significantly higher than the recommended grade 6 level. Definition and treatment were the most commonly covered topics, while prevention and prognosis were the least commonly covered. The quality of online hepatocellular carcinoma information is highly variable. Health care professionals should be aware of its limitations and be proactive in guiding patients to reliable resources.

Pattern Matching-based scraping of news websites

Web Scraping is the process of extracting content from human-readable websites in order to import it into local storage such as databases or CSV Files. The process of data extraction and its design is time-consuming requiring an analysis of the website, data representation of the objects comprising its structure (DOM), HTML tags, and the Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) classes. To support this process we aim at providing automation. In this paper, we propose a pattern mining technique to scrap news and blog websites by recognizing title and body based on a content structure pattern. This approach consists of three steps, i.e.: extracting news website structure, constructing a pattern of HTML content, and implementing the pattern as a set of rules in web scraping. Our approach is a simple, general, and straightforward way to extract articles that consist of the title, the body of any blogs, or news websites.

Structure Optimization of e-Commerce Platform Based on Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain Technology

The current e-commerce operation model has network defects such as network chaos and uneven network distribution, which affect economic development and progress. In response to the above problems, this article introduces the artificial intelligence system, optimizes and analyzes the structure of e-commerce websites, and combines the Internet economy with online website theory through independent screening and analysis of the artificial intelligence system. The concept of blockchain technology is introduced, and the characteristics of blockchain are analyzed through theory and data using quantitative analysis methods, and the problem of cross-border electronic payment is solved based on blockchain. Based on the analysis of artificial intelligence, an optimized online website innovation plan was obtained. Finally, the online website resource allocation variables are simulated, and the simulation method is used to test the scheme. The simulation test simulates the process of resource allocation, optimizes the use of innovative models, and hires professional financial personnel to observe records. The test verifies the effectiveness of the structure optimization of the e-commerce platform realized in this paper.

Usability Analysis of Library Websites of National Institutes of Technology of India: An Evaluation

To maintain the standard, design and structure of Indian academic library websites, regular assessment of library web portals to increase their usability and accessibility is necessary. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the usability, efficiency, and effectiveness of thirty National Institutes of Technology (NIT) Libraries websites in India. Most of the selected Libraries websites are very simple and had very basic and common usability features in terms of General Information, Available library services, about website, Website search facility, Use of web 2.0 applications, Page load time and Mobile friendly test, etc. There is enormous scope for improvement. Findings of the study will help to improve upon the usability features of selected libraries websites that will finally benefit the library users who are using library facilities and services remotely. Study will also help the webmasters to check their websites on timely basis to increase usability scores based on online usability tools.

The article considers developing the department's website as a means of professional communication in the unified information educational environment of a military academy. The structure of the site contains all the elements that reflect the activities of the department staff. The site displays educational, methodological, scientific and educational activities of the department, provides information about the teaching staff, and reveals the features of professional training. The information content of the site has such important characteristics as information content, accessibility, reliability and objectivity of published materials, and efficiency. The composition of the information structure of the department's website allows to increase the effectiveness of all areas of the department's activities, to analyze scientific, methodological and educational ties, to increase the professional motivation of the teaching staff. The website of the department contains up-to-date information that allows to streamline the process of professional communication in a military academy.

Analysis of user behavior on the website of a university eye hospital in Germany.

Medical information websites are usually targeted toward patients, physicians, and medical students. Most of the latest studies researched the usability of such websites. However, reports on user numbers and behavior are rare.The goal of our study is to analyze the utility of a website of a large tertiary referral center in ophthalmology in terms of various target audiences (patients, applicants, medical students, referring ophthalmologists).The web access data from our institutional website was assessed with Google Analytics. Data collection started in 2016.From 2016 to 2018, we counted a total of 763,942 page views. The overall number of users dropped from 81,572 to 67,740. This drop's onset correlates with a change in the website structure. All target audience pages received constant traffic from 2016 to 2019, with the patients’ and doctors’ sites attracting the most traffic. The pages for medical students and job applicants, although not viewed often, revealed a long session duration.Our website is used by all our target audiences. The behavior and the user numbers of each target group differ. Changes to a website's structure can influence the number of users and their behavior. It is not possible to make a direct comparison to other institutions’ websites as there are so few similar reports available. By adding more parameters to the analytics profile in a prospective setting, more detailed analyses of user behavior may be possible in the future.

Tobacco control challenges in China: Big data analysis of online tobacco marketing information

ObjectiveTo develop tobacco control strategies by analyzing online tobacco marketing information in China. MethodsUsing web-crawler software, this study acquired 106,485 pieces of online tobacco marketing information published on 11 different Internet platforms including Weibo, WeChat, Baidu, etc., from January–June 2018. The data were used to investigate the characteristics and social networks of online tobacco marketing via content and social network analysis. ResultsThe total volume of online tobacco marketing during the study period was high, showing a positive trend. Of all the marketing subjects, those involving “flavor capsule”, “Marlboro”, and “Esse” were the most popular. The Weibo platform had the highest volume of online tobacco marketing information as well as the largest proportion of explicit marketing information. This was followed by other social media platforms such as Baidu Search, Baidu Tieba, and Xiaohongshu, where implicit marketing information predominated. The overall network structure of tobacco websites exhibited a significant centralization feature, where traditional and novel tobacco websites formed two clusters with almost no intersections. The China Tobacco Science and Education Website (http://www.tobaccoinfo.com.cn/) and E-Cigarette Home (http://ecigm.com/) were the two nodes of the highest degree centrality within the respective “circle”, while the China Tobacco Monopoly Bureau Website (http://www.tobacco.gov.cn/) was the node with the highest closeness centrality. By contrast, Baidu Tieba’s overall network structure was more decentralized, and the degree of correlation between different nodes was relatively low. ConclusionOnline tobacco marketing demonstrated high volumes and wide coverage, and an intertwined network, thereby creating major obstacles for tobacco control. To address this issue, the government should strengthen network supervision of tobacco marketing and revise its current regulations. Meanwhile, Internet platforms should improve self-regulation by comprehensively removing and blocking tobacco-related information. Lastly, the media and public should advocate associated policies and support Internet platform supervision.

Design Recommendation Information Architecture of Hospital Website Using Bottom-Up Approach on Card Sorting Method

<p>One of the public facilities that use websites is the hospital. However, there are some shortcomings complained by users related to the hospital website, which is the lack of information, confusing view of the menu, etc. Therefore, we need the information architecture to manage related content and website structure. The build of information architecture is done by using a bottom-up approach in card sorting. There are five stages in the research, which the first stage is a strategy to equalize the goal in the development of the hospital website either from the point of view of the organization or company and the user's point of view of the hospital website. The second stage is a scope to find out what are the needs of the user in order to build the hospital website. The third stage is structure, which is the formation of the initial structure of information architecture by using a bottom-up approach to the card sorting method. The type of card sorting that is commonly used is the open card sorting. The fourth stage is the skeleton stage, which is used to make information architecture model design using wireframe and prototype. The fifth stage is the test using findability testing and usability testing. From the test, the design of information architecture is made to fulfill the desires and needs of users, as proven by the results of findability testing achieved 15.9 seconds, and the results of usability testing achieved 80.33. Hence, by the results of these tests, it can be concluded that the design of information architecture at the hospital website has a good value from findability testing and usability testing.</p>

Reducing Web Page Complexity to Facilitate Effective User Navigation

As a website evolves to align with users’ changing information needs and interests, its structure can outgrow the original design, accumulating links and pages in unanticipated places. This increases complexity to both web pages and the navigation structure, which could cause difficulty in locating relevant links and information. Though the increasing complexity of website and its impact on users’ psychological perception have been anecdotally well-recognized, the need to address it with a formal and rigorous method is understudied in the literature. This paper is one of the first studies to examine how to streamline website structures to enhance user navigation. We use a widely used metric in the literature - a page's outdegree (the number of links in a page) - as the measurement for complexity, because it not only serves as a good proximity for page complexity but also has a significant implication on website structure. We propose a method based on mathematical programming (MP) model that can significantly reduce users’ cognitive load by effectively eliminating appropriate links from pages with high complexity. We have performed extensive experiments on both a real dataset and very large synthetic datasets with statistical similarities to the real dataset. The results indicate that our method not only significantly reduces web page and structure complexity with very small impact to user navigation, but also can be effectively solved and scales up remarkably well, suggesting it is useful for website maintenance on a progressive basis. In addition, we conduct a study to evaluate the performance of streamlined website structures using the real dataset and the results confirm the validity of our method.

Sexual difficulties are common, but there is limited access to specialist services. People concerned about their sexual functioning may not seek help, and patients and health professionals can find it difficult to raise the topic. This intervention description paper details the aims, design and therapeutic rationale underpinning an interactive website which provides stand-alone, tailored advice and self-help for sexual difficulties. Sextherapylondon (STL) is an interactive digital intervention (IDI) offering evidence-based sex therapy including psychoeducation, cognitive-behavioural and systemic therapy techniques within a social constructionist framework. An online triage module identifies those who need clinical assessment before proceeding with online sex therapy, generating a referral letter. STL offers online self-help for getting or keeping erections, early ejaculation, sexual pain, difficulties with orgasm, and lack or loss of sexual desire. In this paper we describe the content and design of the STL web-based sex therapy programs, including the theoretical and therapeutic rationale which underpins the website structure and content. Sextherapylondon replicates key aspects of therapist-delivered sex therapy from a range of theoretical approaches, to provide tailored, personalised feedback. By offering private, convenient online access, interactive digital interventions can address the needs of people with sexual difficulties who may not otherwise receive help.

Trustworthy Website Detection Based on Social Hyperlink Network Analysis

Trustworthy website detection plays an important role in providing users with meaningful web pages, from a search engine. Current solutions to this problem, however, mainly focus on detecting spam websites, instead of promoting more trustworthy ones. In this paper, we propose the enhanced OpinionWalk (EOW) algorithm to compute the trustworthiness of all websites and identify trustworthy websites with higher trust values. The proposed EOW algorithm treats the hyperlink structure of websites as a social network and applies social trust analysis to calculate the trustworthiness of individual websites. To mingle social trust analysis and trustworthy website detection, we model the trustworthiness of a website based on the quantity and quality of websites it points to. We further design a mechanism in EOW to record which websites' trustworthiness need to be updated while the algorithm “walks” through the network. As a result, the execution of EOW is reduced by 27.1 percent, compared to the OpinionWalk algorithm. Using the public dataset, WEBSPAM-UK2006, we validate the EOW algorithm and analyze the impacts of seed selection, size of seed set, maximum searching depth and starting nodes, on the algorithm. Experimental results indicate that EOW algorithm identifies 5.35 to 16.5 percent more trustworthy websites, compared to TrustRank.
