PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENGELOLAAN RENCANA ANGGARAN BIAYA (RAB) PADA PERUSAHAAN KONSTRUKSI BERBASIS WEB (STUDI KASUS CV. OSA KARYA MANDIRI)

At present there are many construction companies spread across Indonesia, so they have competition both in terms of promoting their companies and in terms of bidding on the right and quality construction costs. CV. OSA Karya Mandiri is a construction company that was founded in 2015. The bid for construction costs is CV. OSA Karya Mandiri is currently still recorded manually and computerized using Microsoft Excel version 2010 software which causes many errors to be found in recording and calculating the RAB itself. In order to overcome this, it is necessary to create a system that makes it easier to calculate the budget plan for a construction project by the company. This study aims to design a web-based budget plan management system using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method. The result of this study is an information system for managing budget plans (rab) in web-based construction companies (case study cv. osa Karya Mandiri).

Application of a Generic Participatory Decision Support System for Irrigation Management for the Case of a Wine Grapevine at Epirus, Northwest Greece

In southern Europe, irrigation is the major water user and thus, development of operational tools that support decisions aiming to improve irrigation management, is of great importance. In this study, a web-based participatory decision support system for irrigation management (DSS), based on the principles of UN FAO’s paper 56, without requirement for any special monitoring hardware to be installed in each field, is evaluated for the case of a commercial wine grapevine (Vitis vinifera ‘Vertzami’) located at Epirus (northwest Greece), for two successive years (2021 and 2022). The soil moisture time series that were generated by the DSS’s model were compared to those measured by soil moisture sensors. The Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) ranged between 2.98–3.22% and 3.63–4.06%, respectively, under various irrigation practices and goals. Irrigation resulted very high yields and Crop Water Productivity (WPC) was 20–44% improved when following the DSS’s recommendations. The results also confirm potential pitfalls of sensor-based soil moisture monitoring and rainfall estimations using mathematical models. Finally, the value of water meters as practical sensors, which could support efficient irrigation management, is underlined. In every case, mindful application of decision support systems that require minimum or no hardware to be installed in each field, could extensively support growers and agronomic consultants to test, document and disseminate good practices and calculate environmental indices.

Web-based Fright Forwarding Information System for Logistics Management in East Africa

Freight forwarding is the process of offering logistical services on behalf of shippers in delivering goods from point of origin and moving to the final destination using single or multiple carriers. The rising of universal e-commerce is stimulating change and innovation in the freight forwarding industry and the current generation of digital devices such as smartphones, and tablets and the availability of the internet has enabled the freight forwarding industry to thrive in facilitating both local and international services. Therefore, the freight forwarding sector in East Africa is moving from manual handling of freights to electronic-freights because of the ever-changing needs of technologies. The study aimed to develop freight forwarding web-based information system for logistics management that will streamline the customer experience and improve logistics services resulting to cost reduction and increase productivity. The author used mixed methods to gather the data and Extreme Programming (XP) system development model was used. Unit testing, integrated testing, and system testing were used to test and evaluate the developed system. The system was validated by structuring a survey questionnaire and distributed to the end users. According to the results, the system met the requirements and the users were satisfied because the system was easy to use and very interactive. With the development of this system, work overload and costs of operations are reduced, errors are minimized and the goods are expected to be delivered timely. For further studies, the author recommends the use of mobile app and Geographical Positioning Service (GPS) for real-time tracking.

Development of a Web-Based School Payment Administration Information System Using the Laravel Framework

A school’s payment administration management system is crucial for its well-being because all activities require payment administration to run successfully. The administration department is responsible for managing the payment, including recording payment of Education Development Contribution (SPP) and other contribution fees and generating reports. Unfortunately, these tasks are carried out manually and have not been digitized, resulting in the possibility of erroneous data and a lengthy recording procedure. Accordingly, it necessitates developing a web-based system for school payment administration management to decrease the risk of payment and recording errors. Laravel was utilized as the application’s framework, with PHP as the language. Database management system employed MySQL. Observation, interviews, and system analysis were performed to create a web application. This application could resolve issues, making payment data recapitulation more effective and efficient while reducing the risk of data inaccuracy

A WEB-BASED PLATFORM FOR IMPROVING LAND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Most of the challenges associated with land and housing management especially in the developing countries are majorly attributed to various methods of managements. These challenges have resulted to poor record keeping and accountability, ownership conflicts, and economic losses. With the advancement in information system technologies such as web-based systems, satellite remote sensing, and mapping technologies, a modern management platform known as web-based management platform can be developed and employed to address land management challenges which have brought severe socio-economic problems. This webbased management system shall be built with the help some information and web technological tools; programming language, application server and web server. This management system shall ensure proper handling of land data/information and other major services associated with land. Hence, the implementation of this web-based platform will bring about great improvement in the field of land administration and management.

SAFEFORM: Usability analysis of a safety-based knowledge management system

Globally, the prevention of falls in construction is always challenging to contracting organizations. A web-based safety knowledge management (KM) system, SAFEFORM, was developed to prevent falls during vertical formwork operations in Indian construction projects. The purpose of this study was to conduct a usability analysis for SAFEFORM using a system usability scale (SUS). Fifteen potential end users were targeted to evaluate the SAFEFORM. The results indicated that the respondents considered SAFEFORM excellent and acceptable. It is expected that the SAFEFORM could assist users in preventing falls during vertical formwork operations in Indian CPs and enhance overall safety performance.

A Study On Utility of Web-Based Drug Warehouse Management System (E-Aushadhi) In A Peripheral Hospital of Metropolitan City of Maharashtra

Introduction: An E-Aushadhi management system based on database was introduced in urban health centre for managing stock outs. This study was conducted to assess utility of web-based drug warehouse management system in a peripheral hospital. Objectives: The objectives of this study were to assess the perceived benefits and difficulties by health care providers expected in introducing a web-based Supply Chain Management System (E-aushadhi) and to identify the factors which will govern successful transition from current system of drug logistics management to web-based system. Methods and materials: In this study Focus Group Discussion was conducted with the staff members of an urban health centre who were working on a similar web-based platforms. There are four teams each comprising 3-5 members. Results: Themes and subthemes were made based on the transcripts analysed. It is perceived that with introduction of web-based drug warehouse system, accuracy of the data can be well assured as manual errors can be reduced a lot. Quality of stock maintenance will increase and will prevent stock outs Conclusion: The accuracy and transparency of drug stock maintenance will be increased while technical challenges such as internet availability, technician availability and training of personnel are perceived barriers.

IDEA MANAGEMENT CANVAS: BIG PICTURE OF WEB-BASED IDEA MANAGEMENT MODELS

Idea management process speeds up the innovation process by providing a systematic and manageable way of generating ideas vital to continues improvement and development within an organisation. There are many web-based tools that can support organisations with their idea management process. Based on the reviewed literature, currently there is no general model in literature that would support organisations in their idea management process based on the context. In this paper, authors describe the different idea management models based on the canvas model to account for the multidimensional context of web-based idea management systems. In prior research, authors have explored and identified the different idea management systems application types based on the different idea management systems classification types developed from the traditional business model canvas model. In this research, authors answer the following questions: What classifications based on the business model canvas could be created for idea management systems application, and how do these types manifest in real life? It is question that is identified a differences in the results, but form practical perspective understanding of different types could help for enterprises to choose the most appropriate one, but for IMS developers to enrich the types of IMS they are creating. In the literature there is only few attempt to classify IMS. Authors use the following research methods: a literature review (data collection: systematic data collection from scientific databases; data analysis: content analysis). Case study comprising data from over 100 enterprises with web-based idea management systems experience (data collection: case studies; data analysis: content analysis). To verify results 10 expert interviews were conducted. As a result, this research unlocks new value for idea management systems users and developers, as it shows the different idea management systems application types based on a specific business model canvas aspect. This resulted in the creation of 9 idea management systems classifications.

Sistem E-SCM untuk Manajemen Suplai Barang Produksi Pecah Belah berbasis Web

E-SCM is a system that can manage the delivery of goods that can be integrated between consumers, suppliers and traders. The purpose of this research is to create a web-based E-SCM system for glassware inventory management, which will be implemented at the Glosir Raju store. The model used to build this system is the system development life cycle, which includes the analysis, design, implementation, and testing phases. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview and observation. While the design phase in this research consists of making interfaces, use case diagrams, and class diagrams. Our result is a web-based E-SCM system for managing the distribution of glassware. The test results show that all functions work well in this system and follow the set design. Therefore, the E-SCM system for glassware shops makes the delivery of raw materials faster, and there are no delays in delivery, making the production process faster, more effective, and efficient, especially at the Glosir Raju store.

Knowledge Management System Pengajuan Nasabah Pembiayaan pada BJB Syariah

BJB Syariah has several work units, including branch heads, operational managers, back offices, tellers, customer service and marketing . In recording the submission of financing customers, BJB Syariah still performs the documentation using paper media so that the knowledge obtained is still difficult to process. It makes the customer data lost or not neatly arranged, leading to a relatively long period of searching the data. Therefore, it is necessary to have a system that can provide convenience in recording customer submissions in the form of a Knowledge Management System. The system is expected to produce information that is related to customers and can be documented as evidence of data storage in real time. The system development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD) starting from the Requirement Planning stage to the Workshop Design stage. The design tool used is the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The system is made using software Preprocessor Home Page (PHP) as a programming language and MySQL as database management. The designing of this web-based knowledge management system produces reports containing customer data and reports on financing submission on a regular basis.

Cloud-based cross-platform collaborative augmented reality in flutter

Augmented Reality (AR) as a technology in the business area is utilized in new frontiers such as collaborative real-time experiences and cloud-based solutions. However, there is still a strong tendency towards game engines, which hinders widespread adoption for businesses. We present a collaborative AR framework (Flutter plugin) aimed at lowering the entry barriers and operating expenses of AR applications. A cross-platform and cloud-based solution combined with a web-based content management system (cloud) is a powerful tool for non-technical staff to take over operational tasks such as providing 3D models or moderating community annotations. To achieve cross-platform support, the AR Flutter plugin builds upon ARCore (Android) and ARKit (iOS) and unifies the two frameworks using an abstraction layer written in Dart. In this extensive description we present an in-depth summary of the concepts to realize the framework and prove its performance being on the same level as the native AR frameworks. This includes application-level metrics like CPU and RAM consumption and tracking-level qualities such as keyframes per second used by the underlying SLAM algorithm, detected feature points, and area of tracked planes. Our contribution closes a gap in today’s technological landscape by providing an AR framework with the familiar development process of cross-platform apps. Building upon on a content management system (cloud) and AR can be a game changer to achieve business objectives, while being not restrained to stand-alone single-purpose apps. This will trigger a potential paradigm shift for previously complex-to-realize applications relying on AR, e.g., in production and planning. Assisted neuroscience knowledge extraction via machine learning applied to neural reconstruction metadata on NeuroMorpho.Org

The amount of unstructured text produced daily in scholarly journals is enormous. Systematically identifying, sorting, and structuring information from such a volume of data is increasingly challenging for researchers even in delimited domains. Named entity recognition is a fundamental natural language processing tool that can be trained to annotate, structure, and extract information from scientific articles. Here, we harness state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and develop a smart neuroscience metadata suggestion system accessible by both humans through a user-friendly graphical interface and machines via Application Programming Interface. We demonstrate a practical application to the public repository of neural reconstructions, NeuroMorpho.Org, thus expanding the existing web-based metadata management system currently in use. Quantitative analysis indicates that the suggestion system reduces personnel labor by at least 50%. Moreover, our results show that larger training datasets with the same software architecture are unlikely to further improve performance without ad-hoc heuristics due to intrinsic ambiguities in neuroscience nomenclature. All components of this project are released open source for community enhancement and extensions to additional applications.

Rancangan Sistem Manajemen Skripsi Berbasis Web Menggunakan Metode Rapid Application Development (RAD)

This study aims to develop a thesis management system that can facilitate the management and monitoring of student thesis progress. For this reason, it is necessary to develop a web-based thesis management system that can handle these problems and is based online to facilitate access that is not limited to time and space. The thesis management system is made to serve the entire flow of thesis activities in the computer education study program, starting from the submission of topics, the seminar process, guidance to the assessment of the thesis trial. The design of the system uses the rapid application development ( RAD) method. Design using UML, such as use case diagrams and activity diagrams, is equipped with entity relationship diagrams (ERD) and interface design using Figma. The technologies used are Laravel PHP Framework, Bootstrap, Javascript JQuery Library, and MySQL Database. Blackbox testing is carried out for all features in the system that are successfully run according to the scenario. 25 student respondents agreed that the thesis management system developed has ease of use and design accuracy. Testing the system generates data that the system is ready for use and implementation. So the system created is considered applicable to the FKIP ULM computer education study program

A Web Based Employee Management System

Employees are the backbone of any company. Often employee data such as personal details of employees, salary, leaves, and work allocations are managed using manual methods. These manual methods generate a lot of paperwork and make it complex to effectively manage the tasks. Most of the computerized systems proposed for employee management mainly focuses only on attendance management, leave management and salary management. This paper proposes a web-based Employee Management System solution to address the difficulties faced. The system will address the shortcomings of the existing systems and provide functions to manage employee data effectively. It will use trending technologies such as React JS, Node JS, Express JS, and MongoDB as the database which are faster and more user friendly compared to the technologies proposed in the literature. The system will use the concepts of distributed systems, client server architecture and show features of 3-tier architecture. The paper concludes that the proposed system addresses the shortcomings of the similar systems proposed in the literature but should be further improved by studying the subject area. Further research should be done to provide more features related to managing employee data and to provide a responsive design that can be accessed through mobile devices as well.

Centralized Platform for Managing Activities in E-Commerce Store

This project is a web-based online shop management system for an existing store. This online shop management system mainly considers managing and automating the tasks in the online store. One of the main problems raised on existing systems was that there is no control with the admin user to manage items in the store. This system has users as Customers (Buyers), Admins, and Sellers. This proposed system allows these three users to manage their activities in a central platform. This research paper mainly discusses the main functionalities available in this system, how these functionalities are performed by each user, and the way that these functionalities are implemented and tested. An in-depth discussion of the tools and technology chosen to develop this system and the reason behind those choices are also included in this research paper.

Implementasi dan Kendala Penilaian Sasaran Kinerja Pegawai pada Kementerian Luar Negeri

Performance appraisal of Civil Servants (PNS) has a very important role in seeing the extent to which civil servants provide performance to the organization, determining the development of competencies and career paths. Performance appraisal regulations that have evolved from time to time are a challenge to be implemented in government agencies. In the period before 2021 back, government agencies carried out performance assessments with Employee Performance Targets (SKP) using Government Regulation Number 46 of 2011. Not apart from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the SKP performance appraisal management system was web-based. Regulations changed and refined with Government Regulation Number 30 of 2019 concerning the Assessment of Civil Servants' Work Performance. Significant differences are obtained from the value and period of assessment. This makes it necessary to update the web-based management system for the implementation of performance appraisals with new regulations. The readiness of human resources in civil servants especially for Ministry of Foreign Affairs also to implement PP 30/2019 needs to be equipped with socialization and technical guidance that is well planned and directed to be right on target so that the performance appraisal of civil servants can better document the outcomes recorded in the PNS SKP in a certain assessment period.

Development of a Web-based Water Supply Complaint Management System

Every neighbourhood must have access to clean water supply. Disturbances in the water supply may have negative effects on both the economy and public health. Currently there are various methods of filing a complaint to the local water supply distributor. Improper management of these complaints lead to slow responses to affected area, causing displeasure among the users. The aim of the research is to design and develop a web-based Water Supply Complaint Management System to assist users to file complaints related to water supply issues. The system was also designed to assist local authorities or water supply distributor company to properly manage complaints to act quickly. User acceptance testing is used to evaluate the proposed system after it has undergone numerous functional tests. The system was developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the waterfall model was chosen for the methodology. Thirty respondents from Sibu, Sarawak, were chosen to participate in the testing phase and were asked to complete questionnaires that were divided into four categories, including user interface satisfaction, ease of use, usability, and functionality. According to the results of the evaluation, most of the respondents gave positive feedbacks towards the overall functionality of the proposed system. Therefore, it is hoped that all features provided by the proposed system will benefit all users, particularly those who frequently have water supply related issues in their community.
