WEB-BASED BPS PARTNER MONITORING INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR SOUTH COAST BASED

In the digital era, effective and efficient data management is very important, especially in government organizations such as the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). This project aims to design and implement a web-based BPS Pesisir Selatan Partner Monitoring Information System, which aims to facilitate monitoring and management of BPS partner data in Pesisir Selatan Regency. This system is built using the Waterfall method, which allows gradual software development starting from the analysis, design, implementation, to testing stages. For system design, the Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used to visually model system requirements and workflows. The PHP programming language was chosen for the development of this system because of its flexibility in developing web applications and its support for various databases. The result of this system development is a web application that can be used by BPS to monitor partner performance and activities in real-time, accelerate the decision-making process, and improve work efficiency. With this system, it is hoped that the management of BPS Pesisir Selatan partners can be carried out in a more structured and accurate manner.

A web-based travel package management system integrated with QR code

The tourism industry is associated with people travelling either domestically or abroad, for business, social, or recreational reasons. This industry integrates numerous services and activities such as tourism organization, marketing, hotel industry, transportation services, food and beverage activities, retail stores and various other activities under one umbrella. In addition to generating income and jobs, tourism is the best way to promote the nation's image. As the economy and living conditions have improved, so too has the tourist sector, and more people are turning to vacations as a way to alleviate stress and unwind. Currently, travel agencies handle a lot of data with low efficiency and a lot of mistakes. Therefore, this study developed a comprehensive integration of QR code for package travel management system that caters to users in Malaysia, offering functionalities such as itinerary customization, QR code generation and access to essential travel information. The development of this project adopts the Waterfall Methodology, encompassing phases such as planning, requirement analysis, design, implementation and testing. The application is crafted using the Visual Studio Code. The study conducted a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) using questionnaires to evaluate the system's effectiveness and user-friendliness to thirty respondents including family members of frequent travellers and randomly selected community members. Positive feedbacks with Perceived Ease of Use (PEU) scoring 3.6, Attitude of Using (ATT) at 3.7, Perceived Usefulness (PU) scoring 3.4, and Intention to Use (IU) obtaining 3.9, were gathered from the analysis and findings that emphasizing the QR code system's potential as a cost-effective and efficient solution for travellers to monitor and optimize their travel experiences. Future work involves adding maps for easy navigation and implementing augmented reality (AR) for virtual destination previews.

DESIGN OF WEB-BASED ACADEMIC SERVICE SATISFACTION INFORMATION SYSTEM OF WEST SUMATERA SHIPPING POLYTECHNIC

The design of a web-based information system for academic service satisfaction at the West Sumatra Shipping Polytechnic aims to overcome the problems of the survey system which is still manual. This can slow down the process of information at the West Sumatra Shipping Polytechnic. The system design in this Final Project (TA) was built using a website platform and run online. The research method uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model approach which consists of 5 stages, namely, a) Analysis b) Design c) Implementation d) Maintenance e) Planing. The programming language used is PHP, and the database application uses the MySql data processor as the database. The system design tool uses the unified Modeling Language (UML) method using 5 (five) diagrams according to design needs, namely Usecase Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Class Diagram and database design. This final project produces an effective and efficient Web-based design of an information system for academic service satisfaction at the West Sumatra Shipping Polytechnic that produces accurate and timely survey resultss

WEB-BASED TOURISM INFORMATION SYSTEM IN BUNGUS TELUK KABUNG SUB-DISTRICT OFFICE

This system design aims to develop a web-based tourism information system for Bungus Teluk Kabung sub-district office and create applications that can be implemented in this sub-district office. This system research method is built on a website platform and runs online. The research method uses the system development life cycle (SDLC) with the waterfall model approach, which consists of 5 phases, namely: a) Analysis b) Design c) Implementation d) Maintenance e) Planning. The programming language used is (PHP), and the database application uses a data processor (MySql) as the database (RDBMS). The system design tools use Unified Modeling Language (UML) method with 4 (four) diagrams according to the design requirements, namely use case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams and sequence diagrams. The tourism information application in the sub-district office of Bungus Teluk Kabung facilitates visitors to find information and tourist places in the study area. This system was tested and validated using the software testing method, using black box testing. This system can overcome the problems that exist in the area of Bungus Teluk Kabung sub-district.

Implementing Agile Methodologies in Data Warehouse Projects

Agile techniques have transformed project management and software development by stressing flexibility, collaboration, and customer-centricity. Data warehouse initiatives have traditionally used a waterfall methodology, which may delay, cost more, and misalign with business needs. Agile techniques are applied to data warehouse projects in this article, examining their pros and cons. The study starts with Agile fundamentals including iterative development, incremental delivery, and adaptive planning. It compares these concepts with the linear, sequential waterfall approach employed in data warehousing. Agile approaches like Scrum or Kanban may help data warehouse projects adapt to changing business demands and improve results. The report recommends creating cross-functional Agile teams with data administration, analytical, and development competence to execute Agile in data warehouses. Collaborative teams encourage communication and feedback loops. Sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives help data warehousing teams make quick changes and meet business goals, according to the report.

University of Merdeka Malang, which is a private university in Malang City, is one of the music concerts held by one of the faculties, namely FTI Fest. However, in managing this event, various manual methods are still used and tend to be less effective in carrying out transaction processes, especially in terms of ticket sales. Therefore, a management information system is needed that suits your needs. In designing this information system using the waterfall method. The research stages were carried out starting from system requirements analysis, system design, implementation, system testing to maintenance. The results of this research make it easier for admins or event managers to carry out event and ticket management, simplify the process of recording transactions, apart from that, with the existence of a payment gateway, buyers can carry out event ticket purchase transactions anywhere and at any time.

Implementation of Digital Signatures in the Integrated Patient Progress Notes System at XYZ Hospital Bandung

This study aims to implement a digital signature system for filling out Integrated Patient Progress Notes (CPPT) using QR-Code technology. The research method employed is the waterfall development model. The stages of the study include requirements analysis, data collection from various sources, system design, implementation according to the design, testing, and reporting. The study was conducted at XYZ Hospital in Bandung, where it was found that the CPPT signing process is still manually done using a pen, which is considered inefficient as it takes a long time for authorization and is prone to manipulation, thereby reducing the document's validity. The implementation of a digital signature aims to simplify the document signing process quickly without the need for printing, sending, or waiting for physical documents, allowing it to be done digitally and automatically, thereby increasing speed and efficiency. This system also provides authentication assurance by the rightful owner, ensures document security, reduces the risk of damage or loss, and minimizes the possibility of manipulation, thus providing convenience for staff and doctors in terms of time and data accuracy.

Rancang Bangun Media Pembelajaran Sistem Reproduksi Wanita Berbasis Virtual Reality

Midwifery practices have contributed to reducing maternal and child mortality rates by applying biomedical knowledge, one of which is anatomy. Anatomy education typically uses cadavers, models, and books, but it is considered less effective. This study aims to create a virtual reality-based application for quality learning media on the female reproductive system. This research is a development study, which employs a waterfall model to create a high-quality educational media application. The Midwifery Department at Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta conducted the research in 2022. Based on the needs analysis, it is necessary to develop interactive learning media, one of which utilizes virtual reality technology. Blender for 3D Web applications and A-Frame for Virtual Reality Web. Overall, the application testing resulted in a feasibility percentage of 80.84%. We rated the Virtual Reality application for the Female Reproductive System as very feasible, requiring only minor improvements for learning purposes.

Development and Analysis of a Web-Based Management Information System for Dental Practices to Improve Healthcare Services

Introduction: A website-based management information system is needed in dental practices as a public service center that is required to work quickly, precisely, and accurately. The performance of dental practices becomes more optimal with a computerized management information system. Objectives: This study aimed to develop and analyze a web-based management information system for dental practices to improve healthcare services in Indonesia. Methods: This is an action research design conducted at an independent dental practice in Kudus, Indonesia. The research utilized the waterfall method, which started with requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment, as well as maintenance. The analysis was carried out using two methods: Black-Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The UAT percentage results were categorized into 5 sections: 0%-20% very unsatisfied, 21%-40% unsatisfied, 41%-60% neutral, 61%-80% satisfied, and 81%-100% very satisfied. Results: Testing used the Black-Box Testing method on 17 menus, with results meeting the expected specifications and no errors detected during the testing. The User Acceptance Testing (UAT) indicated a 96% approval rate, which signified an excellent rating in users' assessment of the developed system. Conclusions: Based on the results of the study, a web-based electronic dental practice management information system was proposed to meet the needs of dentists.

WEBSITE-BASED IMPLEMENTATION IN INFORMATION SYSTEMS FOR SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT PURPOSES

Website-based implementation of Supervisory Management Information Systems at Inspektorat Daerah Kabupaten Karanganyar is very important in the supervision process for audit reports. Supervision of employee performance that is usually carried out is less effective if it is done physically because it wastes too much time and still uses paper. The purpose of this study is to implement a website-based Supervisory Management Information System, so that employee performance in the audit reporting process can run efficiently and audit reports can be stored directly in the database system. This system is designed using a website-based application with the CodeIgniter framework. The process of designing this system uses the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) stages with the Waterfall method. At the end of the stage, testing is carried out using Black Box Testing and calculating the value of the System Usability Scale (SUS). The results of the Black Box Testing show that the system works perfectly. In the SUS calculation, from 36 Respondents who were inspectorate employees, the average score was 71.86. This shows that this system can be easily used and managed by Inspektorat Daerah Kabupaten Karanganyar.

Information System for Procurement of Goods and Services of the Politeknik Harapan Bersama (SIPHARBER)

The application of information technology in various fields, including higher education, is rapidly evolving and has extended to critical operational activities such as the procurement of goods and services. This research aims to design and implement a Procurement Information System at Politeknik Harapan Bersama (SIPHARBER), which is expected to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in the procurement process. The system is designed to facilitate coordination between the procurement unit and vendors, reduce the time required for tender processes, and minimize errors in data processing. The development method used for this system is the Waterfall model, which involves stages from requirement analysis to system testing. The outcome of this research is a web-based information system accessible by all related units, enabling real-time monitoring of the procurement process by the leadership, and simplifying vendors' processes to offer their products or services. With the implementation of SIPHARBER, the procurement process at Politeknik Harapan Bersama is expected to be conducted more effectively and efficiently.

DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A WEB-BASED INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR UNIVERSITY STAFF UNION

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) in Nigerian public universities has long championed the welfare and interests of academic staff. However, operational inefficiencies stemming from manual processes hinder its effectiveness in addressing contemporary challenges. This inefficiency hampers ASUU’s effectiveness and limits its ability to interact efficiently with its members and stakeholders. Therefore, this study proposes that the ASUU Web-Based Information System (AWBIS) should modernize data management, communication, and decision-making within the union. Drawing on related work in online information systems across various sectors, the methodology involves requirements gathering, leading to the development and implementation of AWBIS. Leveraging development technologies, AWBIS offers modules for member management, communication, event organization, and biometric attendance. This project uses the waterfall model approach to developing software as the research methodology. The data collection techniques include interviews and questionnaires. The AWBIS enables various operations to be performed online, consisting of registering members by the admin, logging members, and allowing members to manage their profiles. The system also provides a login page for both members and admins, each with their own username and password. A secure and accessible database for storing memberprofiles, academic information, and other relevant data was created. The successful implementation of AWBIS will significantly streamline ASUU’s operations, resulting in improved communication, reduced administrative burden, and enhanced transparency. Members will have access to up-to-date information, and the system will facilitate better coordination of ASUU’s activities. Future enhancements, including financial management, election processes, loan applications, and mobile app development, are suggested to further optimize AWBIS’s functionality and accessibility. AWBIS is a model for leveraging technology to advance organizational efficiency and effectiveness within the education sector.

Development of Geospatial Asset Management System for Higher Education

Abstract: The integration of Geographic Information System (GIS) for asset management was addressed in this study. Geographic Information System (GIS) as a decision support system was integrated within the process of asset management to strengthen the monitoring of tangible assets within the organization. The main objective of this study is to design and develop a Location-Based Asset Management Application System. A waterfall model was utilized to create the system. GeoJSON was used to represent geographical features or attributes of the data gathered. A standardized adapted evaluation form was used to determine the Functionality, Performance, Robustness, and Workmanship of the developed application and interpreted using descriptive analysis. The analysis shows that the developed system is excellent in terms of Functionality, Performance, Robustness, and Workmanship. Based on the study's findings, the developed spatial asset management system is an effective way of monitoring and delivering asset management information and resources to its various constituents. It is highly recommended that a designed system should be utilized and use the developed systems to proactively respond and adapt to the modern world in delivering and managing resources.

Information System for Payment of Dues and Savings at SMA Negeri 1 Cibungbulang School Based on WEB

SMA Negeri 1 Cibungbulang, in recording Student Dues and Savings, still uses a spreadsheet application, where transaction recording use spreadsheet application has identified four cases that were complained of by the school administration: first, when recording payment transaction data, there was still an error in data input; secondly, when created the recapitulation report is still less effective and efficient; third when entering the school year the school Administration needs to re-create spreadsheet pages to separate old and new data; fourth transaction data is still prone to be scattered due to manual storage. Because of this, we need a better alternative to managing student finances so that it can be more effective and efficient. This study aims to analyze, design, and build a WEB-based Information System for Student Dues and Savings at SMA Negeri 1 Cibungbulang. The results obtained can improve the performance of the school administration in managing school finances. The system development method used is the waterfall model, which consists of four steps: Requirement Analysis and Definition, System and Software Design, Implementation and Unit Testing, Integration and System Testing. The results of this study obtained an information system that can manage information consisting of student data, class data, monthly dues data, savings, and recapitulation reports with automatically generate recapitulation reports also present a user-friendly user interface design so that errors in payment input and calculating the number of months in one semester do not occur. This information system is aimed at School Treasurer Staff, School Treasurer, and the Principal.

Design and Development a Web Platform Portal for Mosque Financial Management

Transparency and accountability in the financial management of mosques is an area that requires significant attention because it builds the initial trust of the mosque in collecting funds through infaq and waqf. Currently, many mosques still use whiteboards as a tool to present their financial reports. This poses a problem for mosques when delivering financial reports to donors who live far away. Therefore, a tool that can serve as a medium for financial reporting is needed. Based on this need, the research aims to create a web-based mosque financial portal to record income (donations, alms), qurban records, and expenses. In other applications, each mosque uses an application designed for each mosque. This software has been developed to accommodate the needs of each mosque and is integrated into a single application portal. The development of this application uses the Waterfall method, which involves various stages such as user requirements, system design, implementation, and testing. This financial portal was successfully implemented in 11 mosques and prayer rooms across 5 provinces. This application features recording income (donations and alms), qurban records, and expenditure records. The test results show that many mosques can use this financial management portal to record income and expenses. Finally, we can conclude that this web-based mosque financial portal would be a viable solution to enhance the accountability services of mosques in managing their finances.

Implementation of Employee Attendance with Face Recognition using Waterfall Method in Solo Technopark

In the Business and Technology Incubator Division at Solo Technopark, the existing attendance system presents significant challenges, requiring employees to physically commute to a centralized attendance machine. This process not only reduces work efficiency and productivity but also disrupts the daily workflow, particularly under unfavorable weather conditions or during peak hours. To address these issues, this research proposes the development of an attendance system based on facial recognition technology. This system enables employees to register their attendance directly from their desks using the camera on their laptops, thereby conserving time, reducing physical contact, and enhancing overall workplace hygiene. The system's development follows the Waterfall Method, which is structured into five key stages: communication, planning, modeling, construction, and deployment. Unified Modeling Language (UML) was employed to design the system, which was subsequently implemented for real-time monitoring and management. The findings demonstrate a marked improvement in employee efficiency and productivity, validating the system's effectiveness in a practical setting. The study underscores the potential of facial recognition technology to streamline operational processes and improve the working environment within modern organizations.

Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan pada SMK La-Tahzan Berbasis Web

The library service process at La-Tahzan Vocational School is still manual, such as data collection and recording written on paper media and not yet managed using an application system. This causes the member registration process to be slow, the process of collecting data on books, the process of borrowing and returning books and making reports is carried out by recording in a special book so that obtaining data and information takes a long time. The solution to overcome this problem is to build a website-based library information system. System development uses the System Development Life Cycle method with the waterfall model. Data collection methods were carried out by observation, interviews and literature study. This information system helps library staff in speeding up the member registration process, the book data collection process, the book search process, the process of borrowing and returning books and the process of making reports.

PENERAPAN MODEL WATERFALL DALAM MERANCANG APLIKASI PEMILIHAN SISWA TELADAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING

By having exemplary students, it is hoped that students at school will have good role models in all aspects. Unfortunately, subjective selection because it is done using voting can lead to unhealthy competition. So far, the selection of exemplary students begins with the selection of students with the highest average scores, then looks at the student's activity and record of violations which culminates in a vote carried out in the exemplary student selection meeting. Voting at the end of the election can cause the selection of exemplary students to no longer be objective and no longer fair. The application design will use the waterfall method by implementing the SAW method as a method used to help make decisions. The criteria used are 7 criteria in accordance with school policy and the results of this analysis, first the system is able to record all students who will be alternative exemplary students and also the criteria set in accordance with school policy. Second, by implementing a decision support system using CBIS, it can minimize the objectivity and complexity of stakeholders in making decisions and can increase data accuracy. Third, based on the management using this decision support application, an alternative ranking of exemplary students was obtained with the first alternative position being Siska Azzahra Shafa with a total score of 19,790, the second alternative being Andrawan Erlang Padana with a total score of 19,654 and the third being Ichsan Sandi with a total score of 19,645.

Scientific development today is developing very rapidly especially in the field of IT is a necessary area of society to maximum convenience and optimum results. In the neighborhood of the Modern Pondok Pesantren Darul Ihsan the licensing system is still done manually and is not computerized. Besides, the governor repeatedly applied for permission but not on the permission schedule. So from that, we need some kind of web-based online licensing system to help work the privacy and security parts. In this article, the author uses the Waterfall method, which is a method of developing a system or software where the work process of the system is run sequentially and systematically. This online licensing system is expected to help the central guardian in the license process and speed up the licencing process to make it easier.

Perancangan Aplikasi Pengarsipan Surat Berbais Web pada PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan

Archiving is the task of storing highly important data. All recorded data must be accurate and accessible whenever needed, enabling employees to provide effective services. Manual archiving of letters often leads to errors in data storage and retrieval. Therefore, there is a need for a web-based letter archiving application system to address these issues. This research employs the waterfall method, where the developed system is web-based using HTML, Xampp, MySQL manages the database, and PHP programming language is utilized with the assistance of Visual Studio Code text editor. The goal of this research is to design an archiving system that can be managed effectively and efficiently. Letter archiving is done electronically, where documents are stored in softcopy form and equipped with incoming and outgoing letter reports. This approach reduces the risk of errors in data storage and letter retrieval, as the data is stored in a computer database.
