LIVING AL-QUR`AN : SURAH YUSUF AYAT 108 DALAM PEMAKNAAN DA’WAH OLEH MAHASISWA PESERTA KAFILAH DA’WAH 2024

The purpose of this research is to reveal the interpretation of the Qur'anic verse Surah Yusuf verse 108 by the students participating in the Kafilah Da'wah program in 2024. To achieve this goal, I use a literature study approach based on the interpretations of Islamic scholars and a living Qur'an study based on observations, interviews, and documentation of the 2024 Kafilah Da'wah participants. The research findings reveal that the Kafilah Da'wah 2024 students have a fairly comprehensive understanding of the meaning of da'wah to Allah, which includes the objectives of da'wah, da'wah materials, da'wah strategies, as well as the inevitability of sincerity and sacrifice in da'wah. They also understand that bashirah in da'wah is not only about the da'wah message but also encompasses methods, strategies, and a thorough understanding of the audience (mad'u). The interpretation of the Qur'an developed among these students is in line with the interpretations from the exegetical works of Islamic scholars. The research also proves that Mohammad Natsir Insitute of Da’wah has become a leading institution in the cadre development of preachers (dai), not only in the transfer of knowledges but also in the inheritance of the core values of da’wah (transfer of values).

A Nonlinear Analytical Approach to Social Dynamics: Modeling the Impact of Moderate Da’wah on Promoting Tolerance and Social Cohesion in Indonesia

This study applies a nonlinear analytical approach to examine the role of Daiyah Fatayat (DIFA) in promoting tolerance and moderate da’wah in Indonesia. The research focuses on modeling the social dynamics that emerge from the interactions between da’wah messages and community responses, using a mathematical framework inspired by nonlinear systems theory. The rising threat of radicalization, which jeopardizes interfaith harmony, serves as the impetus for this study. By incorporating nonlinear modeling techniques, this research analyzes the application of key Qur’anic verses such as Q.S. Al-Baqarah: 221 and Q.S. Ali Imran: 104 within DIFA’s cadre training. The model captures how these verses influence tolerance and social cohesion over time. The study employs a combination of qualitative case study methods, including interviews, observations, and document analysis, and integrates these findings into a computational model. Results suggest that DIFA’s use of moderate da’wah can act as a stabilizing force within communities, fostering increased social harmony. This study highlights the potential for applied nonlinear analysis to provide insights into complex social phenomena such as radicalization and the promotion of tolerance.

Pesan Dakwah Melalui Akun Tiktok Dalam Melestarikan Nilai Islami Pada Gen Z

Da'wah is very important to create a harmonious, peaceful, and of course in accordance with Islamic teachings. Da'wah messages and means are important components of the da'wah process. All materials derived from the Qur'an and Al-Hadith, which serve as the main source and guide of Islamic religious teachings, are included in the da'wah message. Young preachers among teenagers make innovations by preaching through the TikTok application and as a target is Generation Z by presenting interesting da'wah themes related to the problems faced by teenagers. There are several problems that can be formulated from the explanation of how the message of da'wah aqidah, morals, and shari'ah is. This study conducts descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The purpose of the descriptive qualitative approach is to describe the video content on the tiktok accounts of young preachers. With the characteristics and traits of generation z that are more open to differences and more accepting of diversity, making generation.

Analogi Pesan Dakwah dalam Membangun Pemahaman Agama Terhadap Mad’u

The development of social media in the digital era is increasingly rapid and offers many choices, making the da'wah process easier and faster to convey to the wider community. In this fast-paced and instant situation, preachers are required to be more creative, intelligent and interesting in delivering da'wah messages and ready to face various da'wah challenges. Dai must also be observant in choosing da'wah methods as a communication strategy so that da'wah messages are easily understood by mad'u, one of which is by using analogies. This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of the analogy of Gus Baha's preaching message on Youtube videos in building religious understanding of mad'u and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of Gus Baha's preaching in building religious understanding of mad'u. This type of research is descriptive research with qualitative methods and phenomenological approaches. The research subject here is Gus Baha's video lectures on several Youtube accounts. The object of this research is the comments of the audience of Gus Baha's study in understanding the da'wah message conveyed. The data collection techniques are observation and documentation. The data analysis used is content analysis.The results of the study show that Gus Baha's method of da'wah analogy through Youtube is able to create a relaxed, entertaining atmosphere, the explanation is simple and easy to understand, so it is in great demand by the wider community.

Delivery of Islamic Da’wah Through Instagram Reels on The @Adihidayatofficial Account Towards Teenagers' Awareness in Reading the Quran

Many teenagers suffer losses because they are reluctant to read the Quran and are more immersed in the world. This research was carried out to determine the delivery of Islamic da’wah through Instagram reels on the @adihidayatofficial account regarding teenagers' awareness of reading the Quran. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data sources for this research are documents, video reels posted by Ustadz Adi Hidayat's Instagram account (@adihidayatofficial). Data analysis in this research is connected to relevant theories and is related to dawah media, da'wah messages, and also new media. The results of this research are that there are three pieces of evidence that Islamic da’wah through Instagram reels on the @adihidayatofficial account are able to provide awareness to teenagers in reading the Quran, namely the urgency of Islamic da’wah on Instagram social media, the existence of naqli and aqli arguments, and Ustadz Adi Hidayat's Instagram reels.

Mamah Dede's Communication style in conveying da'wah message in the mama and AA action program in indosiar

ABSTRACTThis research examines the communication style employed by Mamah Dedeh, a preacher, in delivering sermons utilizing the Tubbs and Moss communication style theory approach. Preachers should be mindful of their communication style when delivering da'wah messages. Utilizing different communication methods has the potential to enhance the significance within an individual's subconscious mind. The chosen communication channel must possess the capacity to preserve the message while also being easily retained by the general population. This study employs a qualitative methodology to analyze Mamah Dedeh's communication style using certain methodologies. The data acquisition technique was conducted by duplicating lectures from YouTube. The collected results indicate that the communication style employed consists of The Controlling Style and The Structuring Style.

The Application of Rhetoric and Ethics in Salim A. Fillah's Da'wah on Dr. Richard Lee's YouTube Content: A Conceptual Analysis

Abstract This study aims to analyze the application of rhetoric and da'wah ethics used by Salim A. Fillah in the YouTube content of Dr. Richard Lee. Da'wah in the digital era demands innovative and effective approaches, utilizing social media platforms to spread religious messages. Salim A. Fillah, a renowned dai, employs rich rhetoric and da'wah ethics rooted in Islamic values in conveying his messages. This study uses a qualitative approach with content analysis methods to evaluate Salim A. Fillah's da'wah video on November 22, 2023, on Dr. Richard Lee's YouTube channel. The research findings indicate that the application of rhetorical strategies such as ethos, pathos, and logos, along with da'wah ethics that respect the audience and promote tolerance values, can enhance the effectiveness of conveying da'wah messages. These findings provide important insights for dai and preachers in effectively utilizing digital media to deliver religious messages in an engaging and ethical manner. APPLICATION OF QAULAN BALIGHA COMMUNICATION PRINCIPLES BY USTADZ FELIX SIAUW ON THE YOUTUBE CHANNEL

ABSTRACT In the current digital era, social media platforms such as YouTube have become a very effective medium for disseminating information and da'wah. This research analyzes the application of the principles of qaulan baligha communication by Ustadz Felix Siauw in content published on his YouTube channel. Qaulan Baligha is one of the principles of communication in Islam which has four signs: words that touch the heart, contain wisdom, fluency in speaking and the choice of words that are easy to understand which emphasizes clarity and accuracy. The aim of this research is to determine the application of Qaulan Baligha communication principles carried out by Ustadz Felix Siauw and to provide knowledge that Islamic communication principles can be applied efficiently and the importance of clear and appropriate communication in conveying da'wah messages through digital media. This research uses a qualitative approach, descriptive content analysis method. Data collection was carried out by means of non-interactive participant observation, coding and documentation. Then the data was analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions for the entire research carried out. The subjects in this research were preaching videos uploaded on Ustadz Felix Siauw's YouTube channel with the titles "How to be enthusiastic about life", "Tips & Tricks on how to stay istiqomah" and "Sinful but successful". The results of the analysis show that Ustadz Felix Siauw consistently applies Qaulan Baligha principles in various aspects of his communication and preaching delivered in language that is straightforward, precise and easy to understand and is able to reach audiences from various backgrounds. PEMANFAATAN APLIKASI TIK TOK SEBAGAI MEDIA DAKWAH ISLAM BAGI GENERASI “Z”

This research aims to explain da'wah media with a form of digitalization that is attractive to the millennial generation. TikTok is an application that is very popular in every circle. If this application is used by young preachers as a medium for preaching in conveying their preaching messages, it will attract the attention of the millennial generation. Through this application, a young preacher can easily create da'wah messages that are more interactive, fun, and exciting. In the research, researchers used qualitative descriptive methods with data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation methods. The data obtained was then analyzed descriptively using data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The research results show that: 1) The TikTok application is an application that follows increasingly sophisticated technological developments so that people can easily access it, especially Generation Z. 2) The TikTok application is very suitable and useful by increasing educational content, so that people can better understand, especially Islamic preaching content, this will continue if users are well directed. 3) Da'wah media with the TikTok application has been very popular with Generation Z for a long time and is growing rapidly with the addition of new Da'wah content creators. The implications of this research include: 1) social and cultural, 2) education and digital literacy, 3) physiology and religious identity, 3) implications of technology and innovation, 4) ethics and content monitoring, and 5) religious education and teaching.

Pesan Dakwah dalam Buku "Tuhan, Maaf Aku Kurang Bersyukur" Karya Malik Al Mughis

Modern developments offer a variety of media that can be used as a means of conveying da'wah. One of them is the written media or the relevant bil-kalam method used throughout time to present da'wah messages. This research aims to identify the da'wah messages contained in the book "Tuhan, Maaf Aku Kurang Bersyukur" by Malik Al Mughis. This research employs a qualitative methodology, utilizing content analysis techniques. Data was collected through documentation techniques. The findings of this research indicate that in the book Tuhan, Maaf Aku Kurang Bersyukur, there are da'wah messages, namely the aqidah message including faith in Allah in 4 messages, faith in the Book in 2 messages and faith in qada and qadar 2 messages. Moral messages include 11 messages of gratitude and sharia messages include 3 messages of prayer.

Pengembangan Flipbook “Dukung” tentang Peduli Lingkungan sebagai Media Dakwah pada Pembelajaran PAI Kelas 6 SD

This research aims to develop a flipbook entitled "SUPPORT" (Da'wah Cares for the Environment) as a medium for da'wah in 6th-grade elementary school Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning that is effective for conveying environmental care da'wah messages, as well as testing the effectiveness of the flipbook in increasing understanding and a caring attitude towards the importance of caring for the environment in the context of Islamic religious teachings that are appropriate according to the assessment of material experts, media experts and students. The research method used in this development research is Design and Development (D&D), which has a focused objective on the process of designing and developing educational products, analyzing and evaluating these products from a design and development perspective. This research procedure uses the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate (ADDIE) model, which is a learning development model that is effective, dynamic, and supports ongoing learning. The instruments for collecting this data are observation, material expert validation questionnaire, media expert validation questionnaire, student response questionnaire, and documentation. The results of the research show that the "SUPPORT" flipbook developed is very good and suitable for use in conveying environmental care da'wah messages. The conclusion of this research is that the development of flipbooks as a medium for preaching environmental care in PAI learning for grade 6 elementary schools can make a new contribution to delivering preaching material and environmental education in elementary schools.

Al-Rasāil Al-Da’wiyah Al-Mustakhrojah Min Kitāb Al-Tafsīr Marāh Labīd Li-Syaikh Muhammad Nawāwī Al-Jāwī (Tahlīl Sūrah Āli Imrān Al-Āyah 104-105)

This study aims to analyze the values of da'wah according to Syeh Nawawi Al-Jawī, especially in Surah Ali-Imran verses 104-105. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. The source of the data is taken from the book of tafsir Marāh Labīd by Syeh Nawawi Al-Jawī, especially in the interpretation of Surah Ali-Imran verses 104-105, as well as several other references that are relevant to the study. The data collection technique uses document analysis, and the data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study show that the da'wah messages contained in the book of tafsir Maraq Labīd by Shaykh Muhammad Nawawi in Surah Al-Imran verses 104-105 are four messages: da'wah to goodness (tauhid), amar ma'ruf nahi munkar, Motivation and Encouragement, Unity and Cooperation between da'i, menace. The implication of this study is that the da'i always prioritize the values of goodness (tauhid), amar ma'ruf nahi munkar, unity and cooperation between da'I in da'wah, as well as utilizing the targib and tarhib methods in their da'wah.

ISLAMIC SPIRITUALITY: REFLECTIONS ON CONTEMPORARY DA'WAH ISSUES

Islam is a da'wah religion, a religion that has a high religious side. Islamic da'wah has enjoyed various eras, from classic to contemporary, producing various da'wah methods and strategies. Rumors of contemporary da'wah have been heard, giving rise to various Muslim intellectual figures at home and abroad. This study aims to understand the concept of contemporary da'wah and the decadence of spirituality of contemporary Muslims. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach; the case is contemporary preaching and Muslim spirituality. The results of this study show that the da'wah in the contemporary era makes preachers more flexible in conveying da'wah messages, and the methods used get a variety of media. It is easier for Mad'u to access and receive da'wah messages whenever and wherever Mad'u is. However, this causes Muslim spirituality to decline.

Penggunaan Media Sosial Instagram Sebagai Trend Media Dakwah (Studi Kasus Konten Dakwah Akun @jalantaubat)

Dakwah, which means inviting or calling in Arabic, is an eternal mission to spread Islamic values. Based on Allah's commands in the Koran, da'wah must be carried out with wisdom and in a good manner. In the technological era, social media such as Instagram has become an effective tool for da'wah, especially for the younger generation. The @jalantaubat account is a successful example of using Instagram to spread Islamic messages through interesting and relevant content, making da'wah easier and more effective in achieving happiness and prosperity in this world and the hereafter. This research aims to determine the da'wah messages and social values ​​in the da'wah content of the @jalantaubat Instagram account. The results of this research show that the @jalantaubat account on Instagram spreads da'wah messages about Islamic faith and law, highlighting faith in Allah, angels, messengers, Allah's books, the last day, and Allah's qada and qadar. His message provides a practical understanding of Islamic values ​​for Muslims, including the importance of shaking hands, patience, giving alms, fasting during Ramadan, and providing for the family. The content contains social values ​​such as brotherhood, reminders to use time wisely, appreciating the blessings of health, the importance of apologizing, maintaining harmony, and praying for others are also emphasized.

Potensi Dakwah Di Media Sosial Tiktok: Peluang Tantangan Islam Di Era Digital

This journal discusses the potential and challenges of Islamic da'wah in the digital era, especially through social media. Technological transformation has changed the way da'wah communication is carried out, allowing broad and interactive access. The millennial generation is recognized as agents of change who can utilize social media to spread moderate and inclusive da'wah messages. Despite huge opportunities, challenges such as the spread of hoax content, extremism and lack of digital competence are recognized as risks. The research uses quantitative research which emphasizes collecting and analyzing numerical data from respondents to understand certain phenomena. This method involves designing a structured questionnaire for data collection. The research results provide insight into effective strategies for using digital media for da'wah and efforts to overcome potential challenges and risks. The importance of da'wah on social media in introducing Islamic teachings, preventing Islamophobia, educating the younger generation, creating inclusive da'wah, and establishing dialogue between religions is the focus of implementation. The implementation discussed is the spread of Islamic teachings through the Tiktok platform. This research is expected to make a major contribution to the development of contemporary Islamic teachings in the digital era.

Analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes Terhadap Isi Pesan Dakwah Iklan Pepsodent Siwak

. In this era, globalization and information technology play a very important role in human life. Playing a role in selecting consumer products, people rely on technology and information media in selecting goods that suit their needs. This research aims to determine the content of the da'wah message in the Pepsodent Siwak advertisement and to determine the meaning of connotation and denotation in the Pepsodent Siwak advertisement. The research approach used by literature (library research) is descriptive qualitative and the analysis uses Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis method, regarding the content of the Pepsodent Siwak advertisement's Da'wah message. The research results show that: 1) the denotational meaning of the Pepsodent advertisement is that there is still a lack of awareness among Indonesian people about brushing their teeth morning and night, especially parents. Meanwhile, the connotation means that a father as a role model for children often does not set a good example for children, and this advertisement shows that there is more closeness between father and child. The myth that emerges is the closeness of boys to their fathers and the myth that adult men do not pay enough attention to dental and oral health. 2) The content of the da'wah message is divided into three dimensions, namely the faith dimension, the moral dimension and the sharia dimension. The specific social meaning and impact as a symbol of the message of Islamic da'wah in the Pepsodent Siwak advertisement in society is that it aims to seek salvation in the afterlife.

A-RADIO DAN IMPLEMENTASI KOMUNIKASI DAKWAH MELALUI PROGRAM REHAT

A-Radio 101.1 Fm is an information medium, using its role as a da’wah medium, in the REHAT program (requests and advice) the application of da'wah communication is carried out by broadcasters in conveying da'wah messages. The decline in radio users is due to the large number of internet users, especially social media, which makes radio abandoned. Radio competition in Bandar Lampung is very tight, making radio owners need innovations that are used to maintain the existence of a radio. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, using the type of field research. The results of this study describe the application of da'wah communication carried out on radio programs using several stages of application, in the request and advice format using the Al-Mauidzah al-Hasanah method, through bil-lisan da'wah used by broadcasters. The innovation of da'wah broadcast content carried out by A-Radio in the REHAT program is the use of songs as da’wah material.

Strategi Dakwah Multimedia Nahdlatul Ulama melalui Instagram @nuonline_id

Da’wah media from time to time continue to experience such good development. The emergence of social media in the community has also influenced the delivery of da'wah messages. In this case, preachers is required to be able to use social media as a medium for preaching. This research is motivated by the use of Instagram as a medium for preaching, especially the Nahdlatul Ulama organization. This research was conducted on the official Nahdlatul Ulama Instagram account, @nuonline_id. This study aims to understand how the format of the da'wah message presented by the @nuonline_id account and how the da'wah strategy used by Nahdlatul Ulama on the @nuonline_id account. Qualitative research was chosen to be the research method in this study. In addition, the approach used is a phenomenological approach. In this study, the results show that @nuonline_id has 2 strategies in preaching through Instagram, namely: first, in presenting images with insertions of words and selecting templates that show the characteristics of Nahdlatul Ulama. Second, presenting a video with an interesting concept.

Young People and the Fragmentation of Religious Authority: Study of Youth Movements and the Spirit of Islamic Da’wah in Indonesia

The rise of religious authority among young people in Indonesia has become increasingly prominent, particularly with the proliferation of da'wah movements across diverse domains. This trend is evidenced by the surge of Islamic activism initiated by Indonesian youth. This study seeks to explore the methods through which young individuals assert and cultivate their religious influence and the ethos of Islamic resurgence within the public sphere. Conducting field research in Probolinggo, Bondowoso, and Lumajang, supplemented by netnography examining youth social behaviors and existing literature, this paper unveils several key findings. Firstly, young Indonesians establish da'wah communities in various formats, such as majelis shalawat, sarwah, and majlas. Secondly, they exhibit a preference for popular shalawat music in the Indonesian language. Thirdly, there is a widespread utilization of social media platforms as a means of disseminating their da'wah messages. Lastly, young Muslims manifest their religious authority through fashionable and contemporary styles of dress.

Modernising tradition: Reinforcing ASWAJA al-Nahdhiyah authority among millennials in Indonesia

The da’wah [invitation to Islamic teachings] movement of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah al-Nahdhiyah, abbreviated as ASWAJA al-Nahdhiyah, formerly centred around elderly, rural, and traditional populations, has now expanded its influence to encompass the millennial demographic. The evolving landscape of time and technological advancements present novel challenges in effectively communicating the da’wah message to a generation deeply immersed in the digital era. Millennials exhibit distinct communication preferences and characteristics compared to previous generations, necessitating tailored approaches to disseminate da’wah content that resonates with their context and needs. This research aimed to achieve two primary objectives: firstly, to identify emerging forms of new traditions within the ideological reinforcement of ASWAJA al-Nahdhiyah among millennials, and secondly, to analyse the underlying factors contributing to these novel traditions within the millennial context. Employing a qualitative approach, this study utilised nethnography as its methodological framework, seeking to understand cultural experiences encompassing traces, practices, networks, and social media systems. By combining various research approaches for data collection, analysis, and interpretation, the study shed light on the reinforcement efforts that give rise to diverse new traditions. The findings highlighted that the reinforcement endeavours, including the appropriation of media platforms and the emphasis on education, cadre development, and intensive mentorship within millennial domains, significantly contribute to the acceptance and affiliation towards ASWAJA al-Nahdhiyah. Moreover, these efforts serve as a counterforce against the proliferation of radical ideologies, safeguarding the traditional religious views amid the rapid globalisation of religious understanding and transnational da’wah movements in Indonesia.Contribution: This article advanced our understanding of the evolving dynamics within the ASWAJA al-Nahdhiyah movement, particularly its adaptation to contemporary communication channels and its strategic engagement with young audiences amid the changing religious landscape in Indonesia.
