Modern technologies and methods used in the course of rehabilitation of persons with disabilities are considered. Objective. To systematize knowledge and results of practical experience on the use of innovative technologies aimed at increasing the efficiency of the process of physical education of junior schoolchildren with deprivation of hearing and vision. Methods. Analysis of modern scientific and methodological literature. Results. Modern living conditions place increased demands on the health and physical development of the younger generation. Of particular interest in the current socio-economic conditions is the issue of children with congenital or acquired defects, since the features of their physical development, manifestation of motor abilities in the future determine the level of social activity at different stages of life formation. Actualization of results of scientific researches of leading specialists in the field of physical education of different population groups makes it possible to single out one of the leading positions of the contemporary problematics of health forming activity of children of junior schoolage with deprivation of hearing and vision, presented in the form of a methodological basis of formation a positive motivation for the healthy lifestyle of the younger generation and the highlighting its central link – the humanistic approach. Summing up the views of some experts, one can state that the development of the locomotorium of school-age children with the deprivation of sensory systems is influenced by of various factors and is subjected to certain changes, including pathological ones.
