Pengaruh Kontrol Diri Terhadap Kedisiplinan Belajar Siswa Di SMPS Bilingual Al Azhar Paciran Lamongan

This study aims to determine the effect of self-control on student learning discipline at SMPS Bilingual Al Azhar Paciran Lamongan. The sampling technique used in this study was saturated sampling technique, the sample in the study amounted to 61 students at SMPS Bilingual Al Azhar. The measuring instrument in this study is the Indonesian version of the Self-Control Scale with a total of 13 items and a 40-item Learning Discipline scale. The scale used uses a Likert scale with a choice of four alternative answers. The data analysis technique used in this study used simple linear regression. From the results of the research, it can be seen that there is an influence of self-control on student learning discipline at SMPS Bilingual Al Azhar Paciran Lamongan. It is known that the calculated F value is 19.432 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.001. So it can be said that the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of self-control on learning discipline at SMPS Bilingual Al Azhar Paciran Lamongan. The magnitude of the influence of self-control variables on learning discipline is 19.6%.

The Influence of Loneliness and Self-Control on Online Game Addiction

The development of information technology has brought various conveniences to everyday life, including easier access to online games. However, a negative impact that is often overlooked is online game addiction which can adversely affect a person's physical, mental and social health. The purpose of this study is to understand the influence of loneliness and self-control on online game addiction in gaming community members. This study used a correlational quantitative approach with 220 research subjects from the online gaming community. This study used the OGA scale from Lemmens (2009) to measure online game addiction variables, UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3 from Russel (1996) to measure loneliness variables, and Self-Control Scale (SCS) from Tangney (2004) to measure self-control variables. The results showed that there is a significant influence between loneliness and self-control on online game addiction.

Pengaruh Financial Knowledge, Financial Attitude dan Self Control terhadap Perilaku Menabung Siswa Kelas XI SMAN 1 Wringinanom

Saving behavior is an important aspect in individual financial management. This study aims to investigate how financial knowledge, attitudes towards finances, and self-control influence saving behavior in class XI students at SMAN 1 Wringinanom. This type of research is quantitative. The population studied was all class XI students of SMAN 1 Wringinanom, totaling 400 students. A sample of 80 students was selected using the Slovin formula method and purposive sampling. Data was collected through the use of questionnaires, and data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS version 27 application for Windows. The results of the research show that the financial knowledge variable has a positive and significant influence on saving behavior, financial attitude has a positive and significant influence on saving behavior, and self-control has a positive and significant influence on saving behavior as well as the financial knowledge, financial attitude and self-control variables. simultaneously have an influence on saving behavior.

The Effect of Self-Control and Sales Promotion on Consumptive Behavior on Consumer Social Commerce TikTok Shop

This study aims to determine the effect of self-control and sales promotion partially or simultaneously on consumptive behavior in TikTok Shop social commerce consumers. The research method used in this research is a quantitative method explanatory design with an accidental sampling method. The sample in this study amounted to 351 people. Data collection was carried out using a Likert scale consisting of a consumptive behavior scale, a self-control scale, and a sales promotion scale. Multiple linear regression analysis techniques were used to test the proposed hypothesis. The results showed that: (1) self-control has a significant negative effect on consumptive behavior in TikTok Shop social commerce consumers (p = 0.000; t = -5.221; r partial = -0.270). (2) sales promotion has a significant positive effect on consumptive behavior in TikTok Shop social commerce consumers (p = 0.000; t = 17.351; r partial = 0.681). (3) Self-control and sales promotion simultaneously affect consumptive behavior in TikTok Shop social commerce consumers (p = 0.000; F = 160.111). (4) The results of stepwise regression analysis show that the effect of sales promotion variables on consumptive behavior is 43.8% and self-control variables on consumptive behavior is 4.1%. The Effect of Pocket Money, Peers and Self-Control on Financial Management on Treasure Fans In Karawang

Treasure fans engage in activities related to the group, including merchandise purchases, concert tickets, and various other forms of support. This study aims to determine pocket money, peers, self-control and financial management. Know the correlation between pocket money, peers and self-control. Knowing the partial influence of pocket money variables, peers and self-control on financial management. As well as knowing the simultaneous influence of pocket money, peers and self-control on financial management. This research method is descriptive quantitative analysis of the SPSS V.26 helpline. Respondents used a total sample of 76 people with the criteria of Treasure fans, aged 12 – 20 years, domiciled in Karawang and have purchased official or unofficial Treasure merchandise. Based on the results of research that has been conducted, it was found: (1) the variable of pocket money from the results of respondents' answers obtained was in the affirmative category. Peer variables showed the criterion of agreeing. Self-control variables indicate strongly agreeable criteria. As well as financial management variables show strongly agreeable criteria. (2) There is a correlation between pocket money and peers has a positive correlation direction and a fairly strong correlation relationship. There is a correlation between pocket money and self-control has a positive correlation direction and a fairly strong correlation relationship. There is a correlation between peers and self-control has a positive correlation direction but a weak correlation relationship. (3) There is a partial effect of pocket money on financial management. There is a partial influence of peers on financial management. There is a partial influence of self-control on financial management. Self-control and counterproductive work behavior are two things that are interrelated to one's behavior at work. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between self-control and counterproductive work behavior among PT. Kencana Palm Indonesia. The independent variable in this study is self-control and the dependent variable is counterproductive work behavior. Measuring tools used in this study are self-control scale and counterproductive work behavior scale. The sample selection technique in this study uses probability sampling technique. The sample of this study were 73 people from a total population of 107 employees of PT. Kencana Palm Oil Indonesia. Test the validity and reliability in this study using the Alpha Cronbach technique. The results of the validity coefficient on self-control ranged from 0,358 to 0.768 with a reliability coefficient value of 0,911 and on the counterproductive work behavior scale ranged from 0,314 to 0.761 with a reliability coefficient value of 0,890. Based on data analysis, the correlation coefficient between self-control variables and counterproductive work behavior was obtained, namely R=-0,737 with a significance level of P=,000. This shows that there is a negative correlation, which means that the higher the self-control, the lower the level of counterproductive work behavior experienced, conversely, the lower the self-control, the higher the level of counterproductive work behavior experienced by employees of PT. The Relationship Between Self-Control and Self-Esteem with Narcissistic Behavior in Teenage Tiktok Users

This research aims to determine the relationship between self-control and self-esteem and narcissistic behavior in adolescent Tiktok users at SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo City. This research uses a correlational quantitative design with a population of 840 students, a sample size of 90 students using purposive sampling techniques. The data collection method uses a self-control scale, self-esteem scale and narcissistic behavior scale using multiple correlation analysis techniques (Multivariate Correlation) with the SPSS 23.0 for Windows program. Data analysis on the correlation coefficient between self-control variables and narcissistic behavior resulted in a value of R = -0.514 p = 0.000 and the relationship between self-esteem and narcissistic behavior was R = -0.668 p = 0.000. This means, it can be said, there is a significant negative relationship between self-control and narcissistic behavior and there is also a significant negative relationship between self-esteem and narcissistic behavior in teenage TikTok users. Furthermore, the results of multiple correlations to measure the relationship between self-control and self-esteem with narcissistic behavior obtained a value of R = 0.670, R Square 0.449 and p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). This is shows, there is a relationship between self-control and self-esteem and narcissistic behavior in teenage TikTok users at SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo City.

Determinan Pengelolaan Keuangan Mahasiswa STIE Surakarta

The objective of this research is to examine the influence of financial literacy, income, self-control, and lifestyle on the financial management of STIE Surakarta students. The study was conducted at the Surakarta School of Economics, utilizing primary data with a population of 2,568 active students. The sample size for this research was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in 92 respondents. The research employed methods such as instrument data test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that all independent variables in this study collectively influence financial management. In the t-test of this study, the financial literacy and self-control variables partially have a positive and significant impact on student financial management, while the income and lifestyle variables partially have a negative and non-significant impact on student financial management.

HUBUNGAN KONTROL DIRI DENGAN ADIKSI MEDIA SOSIAL TIKTOK PADA SISWA KELAS X SMAN 11 JAKARTA

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-control and addiction to the social media TikTok in class X students of SMAN 11 Jakarta in the 2022/2023 academic year. The research method used in this study is a correlational quantitative research method to be able to see the relationship between x and y variables. The population used in this study were students of class X, totaling 216 students consisting of 6 classes (classes X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, and X6). The sampling technique in this study used a simple random sampling technique. The results of the study show that the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between the x variable and the y variable. It can be seen from the results of hypothesis testing using the product moment correlation, the sig value is obtained. 0.001. Decision making based on product moment correlation test criteria is if the sig. <0.05 then correlate. Based on the results of the product moment correlation test in the table above, it can be seen that the sig. 0.001 <0.05 which means that the addiction variable with self-control variables is correlated. As for the Pearson Correlation value, it was obtained at 0.658. So it can be seen that the social media addiction variable of TikTok and the self-control variable have the same strong correlation.

The Relationship Between Self-Control and Learning Independence During the Covid-19 Pandemic

Independent learning is a form of desire and a sense of being able to learn on one's own accord, whether in the presence or absence of other people, to decide learning goals in terms of knowledge, skills, and attitudes in solving problems. Individuals who have good learning independence will have good self-control so that they can control their actions both consciously and unconsciously. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-control and learning independence during the Covid-19 pandemic in SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru students. This study involved 123 students of SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru who were selected using a stratified random sampling technique. The measuring tool used in this study is the self-control scale, which consists of 16 items compiled by Sari (2022). And the learning independence scale totals 11 items compiled by Sari (2022). Data analysis used the Spearman Rho correlation analysis technique, the results of the analysis test obtained a coefficient of r = 0.053. This explains that there is an insignificant positive relationship between self-control variables and learning independence in SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru students.

The purpose of this study was to find out whether there is influence from financial literacy, income, and self-control variables on the financial management behavior of Generation Z, especially students at universities like Muhammadiyah Jakarta. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique used by the researcher uses the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, T test, and hypothesis test. The questionnaire distribution period was carried out in October–November 2022. The results of this study indicate that the variables financial literacy, income, and self-control have a positive and significant effect on the financial management behavior of generation Z.

The effects of adolescent physical activity participation on cell phone dependence: The mediating role of self-control.

The rapid development of science and technology and the swift improvement of people's material living standards enabled smartphones to be indispensable of people's daily lives. The purpose of this paper was to examine the influence of self-control in adolescents' participation in physical activity on cell phone dependence. The Physical Activity Rating Scale (PARS-3), the Self-Control Scale, and the Cell Phone Dependence Scale were used to measure the influence of self-control in adolescents' participation in physical activity on cell phone dependence among 649 adolescents. The results show: (1) There were significant differences (p < 0.01) in the physical activity levels of adolescents under different gender, birthplace, and education background. (2) Each dimensional variable of physical activity was negatively correlated with the cell phone dependence variable, and positively correlated with each variable of self-control, and the self-control variables were negatively correlated with cell phone dependence. (3) Self-control was partially mediating the effects of physical activity on cell phone dependence, with the mediating effect accounting for 39.68%. Adolescents' participation in physical exercise activities will improve self-control and ultimately reduce cell phone dependence. Curbing the negative and malignant events of cell phone addiction among adolescents, timely investigation of mobile phone and Internet addiction, pathological formation mechanisms and intervention measures are important measures to reshape the healthy lifestyle of adolescents and have great practical significance for the prosperity and development of families, society, nation and country.

PENGENDALIAN DIRI, KOMITMEN ORGANISASIONAL DAN PERILAKU CYBERLOAFING TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN (Studi pada Jasa e-Logistik Bisnis di Bandung)

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-control variables, organizational commitment, cyberloafing behavior on employee performance. The method used is qualitative and quantitative using a simple random sample, and the selected population is an employee of one of the e-Logistics Business Services in Bandung. The sample of 72 employees was obtained through observation, interviews and distributing questionnaires that have gone through the process of testing and testing the validity, reliability of the instrument. The data from filling out the questionnaire was then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques with the help of the IBM SPSS 2 Software program. The results of this study indicate that locus of control has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Cyberloafing behavior has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, which in this case is the performance of employees of e-Logistics Business Services in Bandung, so it can be stated that the hypothesis in this study is proven.

Relationship between personality traits and consumer rationality regarding the intention to purchase collaborative fashion

PurposeThe study aims to identify the antecedents of consumers' collaborative fashion purchase intention by analysing innovativeness, self-confidence and consumer spending self-control variables as antecedents.Design/methodology/approachA descriptive quantitative research was performed to verify the influence of such variables based on data collected through an online survey and analysed by structural equation modelling (SEM), which resulted in a final sample of 230 valid respondents.FindingsThe main findings include innovativeness as a strong antecedent of intention to consume collaborative fashion. However, self-confidence and consumer spending self-control are not related to adopting this consumption format, suggesting that collaborative fashion can promote reverse effects by stimulating excessive consumption.Practical implicationsThe results can assist companies of collaborative fashion to enhance their strategies to attract consumers looking for creative reuse of items, for example, by offering repair, revitalisation services and promoting meetings to share tips on how to reuse items creatively. Companies can also improve communication campaigns by focussing on the product itself, rather than price, which seems to be more effective in the context of collaborative fashion consumption.Originality/valueThe study is amongst the first to analyse the influence of consumers' personality traits towards collaborative fashion consumption and provide the scope with findings on the interrelationship between personality traits and consumer rationality, which can broaden the understanding about the potential rebound effects in this context.

Effectiveness of educational intervention-based compassion therapy on emotional regulation and self-control after discharge of patients With COVID-19.

One of the important causes of anxiety in COVID-19 disease is the inability to regulate emotion and lack of self-control during threatening conditions. The psychotherapy technique has been effective in reducing these symptoms. Therefore, this study attempted to evaluate the effectiveness of compassion-based therapy on emotion regulation and self-control in patients with COVID-19 after discharge. It was a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest study with a control group. The statistical population consisted of 30 men (15 in each group) who were in the quarantine period of COVID-19 disease. Available sampling was used and the participants were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. In the experimental group, compassion-based treatment was performed in 10 sessions of 90 min. Tanji's self-control questionnaire and Garnofsky's Emotion Regulation questionnaires were used. Data analysis were performed using SPSS 21 software and multivariate analysis of covariance. There was a significant difference between the mean scores of emotion regulation and self-control variables in the experimental and control groups (P < 0.001). The effect of this treatment on increasing the emotion regulation score was 49% and on increasing the self-control score was 37%. Compassion-based therapy can increase cognitive regulation and improve self-control in patients with COVID-19 disease. It is suggested that this intervention can be used in psychological treatment programs.

The need for the internet makes students use the internet in everyday life. Excessive use of the internet can lead to internet addiction. Self-control is considered to be one of the factors that influence internet addiction. This study aims to determine the effect of self-control on internet addiction in Final Semester Students of the Diploma in Technology Education Program at the Medical Laboratory, Sari Mutiara Indonesia University, Medan. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study were students with male and female categories with a total of 54 students. Data was collected through a measuring instrument in the form of a questionnaire compiled by researchers based on aspects of both self-control variables and internet addiction. The sampling technique in this study is by non-probability sampling. Non-probability sampling is a samplingtechnique that does not provide equal opportunities/opportunities for each element or member of the population to be selected as a sample. In this study, using purposive sampling, which is a technique to determine research samples with certain considerations aimed at making the data obtained later can be more accurate. representative. Based on the problems and theories that have been described above, it can be formulated that there is an influence of self-control on internet addiction in students in the final semester of the Diploma in Technology Education Program, Medical Laboratory, Faculty of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Sari Mutiara University, Indonesia. Differences of Cyberloafing Behavior Outcomes on Men and Women Employees

The activities of reading news, chatting, viewing YouTube and Facebook or even status updates, Instagram, buying and selling online, to playing online games that are not related to work by using internet facilities are cyberloafing behaviors that are often carried out by employees. The limitations of previous research examining the impact of cyberloafing on work behavior empirically are still very limited. In addition, previous research that explains the occurrence of cyberloafing behavior also shows results that have not been established. Encouraged by these findings, this study aimed to examine the factors that explain cyberloafing behavior and its impact on employees' organizational behavior. To meet these objectives, an empirical model was developed with job characteristics and self-control variables as exogenous variables, job stress and cyberloafing as mediating variables and laziness as endogenous variables. Testing the influence between these variables was carried out with an analytical approach to Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which used empirical data obtained through questionnaires as an interview guide to employee respondents in various fields of work. The results of data analysis showed that job characteristics, self control, and job stress were statistically proven to have an effect on cyberloafing behavior. Cyberloafing testing on negative organizational behavior, namely laziness also shows a real influence. In addition, the results of this study also show that there are differences in prevalence caused by cyberloafing behavior between male and female employees.

Emotion Regulation Skills and Self-Control as Predictors of Resilience in Teachers Candidates

This research aims to examine how emotion regulation skills and self-control variables influence teacher candidates&amp;rsquo; levels of resilience. The research was conducted based on the relational screening model. The research group consisted of a total of 462 students, 225 (48.7%) boys and 237 (51.3%) girls, studying at Afyon Kocatepe University Faculty of Education in the 2020-2021 academic year. The average age of the research group was 20.23. &amp;ldquo;Personal Information Form&amp;rdquo;, &amp;ldquo;Brief Resilience Scale&amp;rdquo;, &amp;ldquo;Emotion Regulation Skills Scale&amp;rdquo; and &amp;ldquo;Self-Control Scale&amp;rdquo; were used as data collection tools in the context of the research. Stepwise regression analysis method from multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the data obtained from the research. In the study, it was concluded that emotion regulation skills and self-control significantly predicted teacher candidates&amp;rsquo; resilience.
