Implementasi Moderasi Beragama sebagai Langkah Preventif Terbentuknya Radikalisme di Kalangan Siswa

This research aims to examine the implementation of religious moderation as a preventive measure for the formation of radicalism among students. The students' heterogeneous religious backgrounds and school programs that are oriented towards high tolerance practices make researchers interested in studying the implementation of religious moderation-based learning programs at SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo City. This research is Field Research, namely qualitative research with analytical descriptive characteristics. The presentation of data in this research is formatted in narrative form with data collection using observation, interview, documentation and analysis of natural documents for each discussion. The research informants consisted of the Principal, Deputy Head of Curriculum, Deputy Head of Student Affairs, Teachers and Students. The research results show that SMAN 4 Probolinggo has implemented the practice of tolerance values ​​which are manifested in the learning process and extracurricular activities. The School Bullying Agent Program (APS) is an important alternative in preventing and resolving problems regarding bullying and religious violence. SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo City plays an active role in the activities of the Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB) which is designed to strengthen tolerance and harmony between religious communities in the school environment. The school curriculum is designed to achieve the target of graduates who have a more inclusive and open understanding in preventing the formation of radicalism and strengthening moderate attitudes among students.

Strengthening Moderate Islamic Religiousness in Habib Husein Ja'far's Digital Da'wah

This qualitative research aims to identify the value of strengthening moderate Islamic religiosity in digital da'wah delivered by Habib Ja'far. Indicators of religious moderation in Indonesia as an analysis theory. Habib Ja'far's da'wah content in the Jeda Nulis channel entitled "Avenger: Endgame" is the primary data of this research. The data was obtained using observation techniques. This study concludes that there is a value of strengthening moderate Islamic diversity in Habib Husein Ja'far's digital da'wah, including the value of nationalism in the teachings of hubbul wathon, the value of anti-radicalism in the teachings of hablumminannas, the value of tolerance in the teachings of respecting plurality as sunnatullah, the value of accommodating local cultural wisdom. This study shows that the mainstreaming of religious moderation can be disseminated through da'wah content in the digital space. This study has not identified the obstacles of digital da'wah in the internalisation of the formation of moderate Islamic religiosity by Habib Husein Ja'far.

PERAN GURU TERHADAP SIKAP TOLERANSI BERAGAMA PADA ANAK USIA DINI DI TK PERTIWI METRO PUSAT

Diverse nation, with various religions and beliefs. Early childhood education covers 6 aspects of development that are very important in shaping a child's personality, including an understanding of religious tolerance. At Pertiwi Metro Kindergarten, which has students from various religious backgrounds, teachers play a key role in educating, directing and instilling the values ​​of tolerance, The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Sources of research data include Pertiwi Metro Pusat Kindergarten teachers. Data collection techniques are interviews and documentation and observation. The data analysis techniques used are data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Test the validity of the data using triangulation of sources, techniques and time.The research results show that teachers at Pertiwi Metro Kindergarten play an important role in instilling the values ​​of religious tolerance in early childhood. They develop a curriculum that emphasizes the values ​​of tolerance through stories, songs and routine class activities, as well as being role models in everyday behavior. An inclusive learning environment is created so that every child feels accepted regardless of religious background, and communication with parents is established to strengthen the understanding of tolerance at home. This school integrates religious activities according to each child's beliefs and regularly evaluates the tolerance program through observation and feedback from parents. Despite the challenges of diversity in family backgrounds, schools overcome them with training for teachers and dialogue with parents. As a result, children at Pertiwi Metro Kindergarten show a better understanding of religious differences and mutual respect, forming the basis for a harmonious society in the future. This research also highlights the importance of collaboration between teachers and parents, as well as an integrated learning approach that includes activities for Muslim and non-Muslim children, in creating an inclusive environment that respects religious diversity

INVESTIGATION OF THE CHARACTER VALUE TOLERANCE IN MULTICULTURAL LEARNING IN ELEMENTARY SCHOLL

Instilling the character values of tolerance in multicultural learning is a process of integrating attitudes of mutual respect and acceptance of differences in culture, religion, ethnicity, and other backgrounds in education. Therefore, this study aims to determine the validity of the instrument for instilling the character values of tolerance in multicultural learning. Data were obtained through the PISA database, 2018 edition, with code numbers SC017 and SC061. Data were analyzed with the help of the JASP (Jeffrey's Amazing Statistics Program) application with the CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) analysis method. This study used primary data with 335 respondents from schools in Indonesia. The indicators used to measure the character value instillation instrument are the curriculum and multicultural learning. The CFI value = 0.999, NFI = 0.985, IFI = 0.999, and RNI = 0.999 have also been in accordance with the criteria applied to obtain the fit model. Thus, the character value instillation instruments whose validity was tested is included as fit. The implications of this study indicate that valid and fit assessment instruments can be applied in Indonesian schools to instill tolerance values through a multicultural curriculum. This helps policymakers and educators develop more inclusive and tolerant education programs, supporting harmonious living in diverse societies.

Mono-n-hexyl phthalate: exposure estimation and assessment of health risks based on levels found in human urine samples

Mono-n-hexyl phthalate (MnHexP) is a primary metabolite of di-n-hexyl phthalate (DnHexP) and other mixed side-chain phthalates that was recently detected in urine samples from adults and children in Germany. DnHexP is classified as toxic for reproduction category 1B in Annex VI of Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 and listed in Annex XIV of the European chemical legislation REACH; thereby, its use requires an authorisation. Health-based guidance values for DnHexP are lacking and a full-scale risk assessment has not been carried out under REACH. The detection of MnHexP in urine samples raises questions about the sources of exposure and concerns of consumer safety. Here, we propose the calculation of a provisional oral tolerable daily intake value (TDI) of 63 µg/kg body weight/day for DnHexP and compare it to intake levels corresponding to levels of MnHexP found in urine. The resulting mean intake levels correspond to less than 0.2% of the TDI, and maximum levels to less than 5%. The TDI was derived by means of an approximate probabilistic analysis using the credible interval from benchmark dose modelling of published ex vivo data on reduced foetal testosterone production in rats. Thus, for the dose associated to a 20% reduction in testosterone production, a lower and upper credible interval of 14.9 and 30.0 mg/kg bw/day, respectively, was used. This is considered a conservative approach, since apical developmental endpoints (e.g. changed anogenital distance) were only observed at higher doses. In addition, we modelled various scenarios of the exposure to the precursor substance DnHexP from different consumer products, taking measured contamination levels into account, and estimated systemic exposure doses. Of the modelled scenarios including the application of sunscreen (as a lotion or pump spray), the use of lip balm, and the wearing of plastic sandals, and considering conservative assumptions, the use of DnHexP-contaminated sunscreen was highlighted as a major contributing factor. A hypothetical calculation using conservative assumptions for the latter resulted in a margin of safety in relation to the lower credible interval of 3267 and 1007 for adults and young children, respectively. Most importantly, it was found that only a fraction of the TDI is reached in all studied exposure scenarios. Thus, with regard to the reported DnHexP exposure, a health risk can be considered very unlikely.

Accelerated mustard [Brassica juncea (L.) Czern & Coss] improvement for salt tolerance: Photosynthetic traits and selection indices

AbstractPhotosynthetic traits can sense and signal abiotic stress at early growth stages of mustard [Brassica juncea (L.) Czern & Coss]. The integration stress responses with multiple selection indices can select the fittest/tolerant genotypes. With this goal, a set of 210 diverse mustard genotypes were phenotyped under control and salt‐stress (electrical conductivity = 12 dS m−1). Significant dynamic response of the plant to salt stress with reduction for all morpho‐physiological traits and genotype × treatment interaction was observed under salinity. A higher accumulation of Na+ was recorded in the roots, followed by shoots. A close correspondence between phenotypic coefficient of variation and genotypic coefficient of variation under control and salt stress conditions results in high heritability (h2) in broad sense. A significant negative association between shoot and root Na+ content and rate of photosynthesis also indicated that Na+ was significantly restricted in the root. This was not found to be efficient because considerable Na+ buildup was observed in the shoot. Multiple trait‐based indices, such as membership function value of salinity tolerance, classical Smith–Hazel index, factor analysis ideotype–best linear unbiased prediction index, and multi‐trait genotype‐ideotype distance index, deduced CS 2009‐159, CS 2009‐420, CS 2009‐124, and Swarn Jyoti (RH‐9801) are promising for identifying salt‐tolerant genotypes that can serve as donors for the development of salt‐tolerant cultivars.

Actualisation of Inclusive Values Through Religious Education in High Schools

This study aims to analyse the actualisation of inclusive values in religious learning and examine how the values of tasamuh, ta'awun, and justice are applied at SMA Karuna Dipa Palu, which has a diversity of ethnicities, cultures, and religions. The main objective is to assess how these values strengthen inclusive religious education and identify opportunities and challenges in their implementation. This study uses a qualitative field study method with a case study approach, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation analysis to understand the application of inclusivism values in religious education at Karuna Dipa High School, with data analysis carried out using the Miles and Huberman techniques which include data condensation, data presentation, and concluding. The formal-textual approach in religious learning actualises the values of inclusivity through the opening, core, and closing stages. In the opening stage, teachers from various religions prepare the class and motivate students. In the core stage, the values of openness, tolerance, mutual assistance, and justice are taught through each religion's teachings. In the closing stage, teachers and students summarise necessary materials and give assignments, thus creating solid social solidarity in the school. Karuna Dipa High School faces challenges in developing inclusivism values, such as limited technological resources, visualisation facilities for materials, and limited learning time. In addition, the lack of sustainable religious programs also hinders students' comprehensive understanding of inclusivism. This research implies that inclusivism values in religious education can strengthen social solidarity and inclusivity in diverse schools but requires increased resources, facilities, and sustainable programs for optimal results.

THE INFLUENCE OF WORK DISCIPLINE AND WORK MOTIVATION ON THE PERFORMANCE OF HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS IN PEMALANG DISTRICT

This research aims to examine the relationship between work discipline and work motivation teacher performance in Pemalang Regency. The hypothesis of this research is that work discipline has a positive effect and significantly on teacher performance, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, work discipline and work motivation have a simultaneous and significant effect on teacher performance. Researchers use the Slovin formula to determine the number of respondents who will used in this research, the tolerance value used is 5% for the total sample. The respondents to be used are 124 people, but the researchers here used 131 respondents because the results obtained by respondents were 131 teachers in Pemalang Regency. The test results Researchers found that the variables of work discipline and work motivation had a significant and positive effect on teacher performance in Pemalang Regency. The results of this research are: 1) Based on the results The T test for the work discipline and work motivation variables got a significance value of 0.00, which means more smaller than 0.05, which can be concluded that work discipline and work motivation have an influence positive towards teacher performance. 2) After the F test was carried out, the researcher obtained a significance value 0.00 and smaller than 0.05, which means that the work discipline and work motivation variables have an influence positive impact on performance. 3) Based on the test results, the coefficient of determination (adjusted R square) is known The adjusted R square value is 0.704, which means that 70.4% of the variation in the dependent variable performance is explained by two variables, namely work discipline and work motivation.

This research aims to determine the relationship between Learning Motivation and Self-Efficacy on Academic Procrastination among Pertamina University students class 2020 to 2023. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach using a questionnaire for data collection. Researchers used the Slovin formula to determine the number of respondents to be used in this research with a tolerance value of 10%. The results of this research are that learning motivation partially influences academic procrastination with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, self-efficacy partially influences academic procrastination with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and the learning motivation and self-efficacy variables influence simultaneously or together towards academic procrastination with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. It was concluded that the two independent variables that the researcher used had a negative and significant effect on the dependent variable.

Strengthening Patriotism to Prevent Terrorism: A Study on Muhammadiyah Pesantrens In South Sulawesi, Indonesia

The focus of the research aims to analize the role of Muhammadiyah Pesantrens in instilling the sense of patriotism for the prevention of terrorism. The study is designed with a qualitative setting using a phenomenological approach to understand individuals' experiences and perceptions of the concept of love for their homeland, and a constructivist approach to understand how pesantrens actively initiate and implement programs to strengthen such attitudes. The data collected through observation and interview. The findings of the research indicate several preventive measures taken by Muhammadiyah pesantrens in strengthening the love for the homeland to prevent the spread of terrorism seeds such as education moderate and progressive Islamic value, cultivation of national character, and teaching of understanding the danger of terrorism. These measures include embedding education with progressive moderate Islamic values. This is realized by developing a curriculum based on moderate, tolerant, and inclusive Islamic values. Moderate Islam is a humanistic Islam that can accommodate everyone, from various social strata, ethnicities, and religions; tolerance is a fundamental value in Islam; inclusive education is the educational service provided by Muhammadiyah pesantrens, which does not discriminate based on skin color, ethnicity, religion, race, or social group. Another step is the cultivation of national character among the santri, which involves reinforcing knowledge of local history and culture based on Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah principles. A relevant future study would be to investigate the causes of the emergence of anti-diversity attitudes and hardline Islam found in some pesantrens in Indonesia.

Pulau Kemaro : Simbol Toleransi Antaragama di Sumatera Selatan

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to promote and strengthen the values of interreligious tolerance in South Sumatra through the introduction and preservation of Kemaro Island as a symbol of tolerance. Kemaro Island is a small island in the Musi River, Palembang, which is known for the legend of love between a Chinese prince and a princess of Palembang as well as the existence of Buddhist temples that are side by side with the traditions of the local community. Through a series of activities such as workshops, seminars, cultural exhibitions, and educational tours, the program engages various elements of society, including youth, religious leaders, and academics, to understand the history and cultural values of Kemaro Island. This activity also includes training for local tour guides to be able to convey accurate and interesting information about Kemaro Island to visitors. In addition, this program seeks to increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining and preserving cultural sites as valuable heritage. It is hoped that through this activity, the community can better appreciate cultural and religious diversity and foster a spirit of tolerance and harmony in daily life. The results of this PKM activity will be documented in the form of scientific reports and publications, and are expected to be a model for other regions in developing and promoting the values of tolerance through local cultural heritage.

Internalisation of Tolerance Values Learners in Indonesia Merdeka Curriculum

This research aims to explore the process of internalising the value of tolerance in students in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia. The research method used is a qualitative study with a literature review approach. The results showed that the Merdeka Curriculum pays significant attention to the development of tolerance attitudes in education. The process of internalising the value of tolerance is carried out through an inclusive, dialogical, and experience-based learning approach. In addition, schools through the central role of teachers play an important role in strengthening tolerance values among students. The findings of this study provide a deeper understanding of the educational practices that support the internalisation of tolerance values in the Merdeka Curriculum and contribute to the development of a more inclusive and human values-oriented curriculum in Indonesia.

The Application of Rhetoric and Ethics in Salim A. Fillah's Da'wah on Dr. Richard Lee's YouTube Content: A Conceptual Analysis

Abstract This study aims to analyze the application of rhetoric and da'wah ethics used by Salim A. Fillah in the YouTube content of Dr. Richard Lee. Da'wah in the digital era demands innovative and effective approaches, utilizing social media platforms to spread religious messages. Salim A. Fillah, a renowned dai, employs rich rhetoric and da'wah ethics rooted in Islamic values in conveying his messages. This study uses a qualitative approach with content analysis methods to evaluate Salim A. Fillah's da'wah video on November 22, 2023, on Dr. Richard Lee's YouTube channel. The research findings indicate that the application of rhetorical strategies such as ethos, pathos, and logos, along with da'wah ethics that respect the audience and promote tolerance values, can enhance the effectiveness of conveying da'wah messages. These findings provide important insights for dai and preachers in effectively utilizing digital media to deliver religious messages in an engaging and ethical manner. MANGANAN: IMPLEMENTATION OF KALYANAMITTA VALUES IN SEDEKAH BUMI TRADITION IN JEPARA

Manganan is a tradition passed down from generation to generation by the people of Tunahan village, Jepara district. This research aims to describe the transformation of Kalyanamitta values in the Manganan tradition of Sedekah Bumi in Tunahan village, Jepara district. The methods used in this research are phenomenological methods and descriptive methods. By providing meaning from the experiences that have been felt and also to describe what happened when the research was carried out according to the facts in the field. The research results state that first, the Manganan tradition carried out in Tunahan village is different from the Manganan tradition in general in terms of its implementation, place and also the process carried out; The second result is the values contained in the implementation of the Manganan tradition, including religious values, solidarity values, tolerance values, educational values; Third, there are values contained in the Manganan tradition which are related to Kalyanamitta, namely religious values, tolerance values and solidarity values. The conclusion of this research is that the Manganan tradition which is still carried out today by the Tunahan village community has meaning, values and symbols contained in it and also from the values in the Manganan tradition there is a connection with Buddhist teachings, namely kalyanamitta

MEMBANGUN DIALOG INTERRELIGIUS ANTARUMAT BERAGAMA DI KOTA MALANG

The aim of this research is to identify and analyze further the importance of dialogue and tolerance among religious communities, particularly in the city of Malang. For the author, the topic addressed in this writing is highly contextual, especially in fostering dialogue amidst religious pluralism. The lack of understanding of the values of tolerance and interreligious dialogue often provokes the emergence of intolerant attitudes among religious communities. In the writing entitled “Building Interreligious Dialogue Among Religious Communities in the City of Malang”. The author is interested in pointing this topic because the community in the city of Malang highly upholds the value of tolerance, which is evident in their perspective of accepting and respecting others of different religions. In this regard, tolerance can be achieved through dialogue. One of the methodologies used in this research is through interfaith dialogue from the perspective of Armada Riyanto, supported by the documents of the Church Nostra Aetate regarding interfaith dialogue. This paper is expected to explode the enthusiasm of all sectors in building dialogue among religious communities. This study ultimately concludes that interfaith dialogue will encourage a sense of brotherhood among religious communities and ultimately lead to an encounter with Almighty God.

Assessment of Germination and Seedling Development Factors of Soybean Cultivars in Different Salinity Levels

Salinity poses a significant abiotic stress factor that exerts detrimental effects on plant growth during germination and early seedling stages. The global prevalence of high salt concentration has transformed salinity into a serious problem, impacting vast expanses of land worldwide. This experiment aims to examine the effects of various concentrations of Sodium chloride (NaCl), including 200 mM, 150 mM, 50 mM, and 50 mM, on the seed development at early stage and germination of different cultivars of soybean to determine the variety with the highest value of tolerance, while exploring the underlying mechanisms responsible for salt tolerance in these plants. The parameters considered for measurement included relative injury rate, mean germination time, germination percentage, water uptake percentage, seedling height reduction, seedling biomass, and salt tolerance. Among these parameters, seedling height was highly affected with up to 72.58% reduction in 200 mM, followed by fresh weight and water uptake percentage. The parameters with minimum changes from 0 mM to 200 mM were mean germination time and relative injury rate. By assessing these parameters, a comprehensive understanding of the effects of salinity on soybean genotypes can be obtained. In conclusion, the study suggests that seedling traits are a reliable way to identify genotypes with increased tolerance to salinity stress by farmers according to the salinity situation in their soils.

Dynamics Of Legal Policy On Radicalization And Deradicalization Of Terrorism Prisoners

The deradicalization program for terrorism prisoners is a crucial initiative in an effort to reduce the threat of terrorism in Indonesia. In this context, Law Number 22 of 2022 concerning the Prevention and Eradication of Terrorism is the legal basis that regulates various strategic aspects of this effort. This study aims to analyze the implementation and challenges in the deradicalization program of terrorism prisoners, focusing on the political aspects of law and its relevance in the international context. The research method used is a literature study to collect data and information related to the implementation of the deradicalization program, as well as policy analysis related to Law No. 22 of 2022. The results show that the deradicalization program of terrorism prisoners in Indonesia faces a number of challenges, including policy consistency, political consensus, and human rights protection. Nonetheless, successful international implementation offers views and best practices that can be applied to strengthen Indonesia's capacity to deal with the threat of terrorism. The conclusion of this study highlights the importance of multilateral cooperation, community-based inclusive approach, and human rights protection in the implementation of deradicalization programs. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the government strengthen international cooperation, improve related policies and regulations, improve education and training, and promote the values of moderation and tolerance as part of a sustainable strategy to address the threat of terrorism in Indonesia.

Multi-Elemental Analysis of Edible Insects, Scorpions, and Tarantulas from French (Online) Market and Human Health Risk Assessment Due to Their Consumption: A Pilot Study.

Edible insects are becoming increasingly popular as protein alternatives to traditional animal-based products. As such, information on their elemental composition is important to ensure they are safe for human consumption. This article describes the development and validation of a rapid, reliable method for the simultaneous determination of 19 elements (Al, As, B, Ba, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Mo, Na, Pb, Se, Sr, and Zn) in edible insects by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) following closed vessel microwave digestion. The method was validated using three insect certified reference materials, namely black soldier fly larvae meal (BFLY-1), cricket flour (KRIK-1), and mealworm powder (VORM-1). The method was applied to analyze twelve different (whole) insect species. The maximum amount of each sample was calculated for As, Cd, and Pb with respect to their provisional tolerable daily intake values established by the Food and Agricultural Organization/World Health Organization. Most of the samples, except for scorpions and tarantulas, were safe to consume at large doses (1000-10,000 insects per day). Furthermore, most of the samples contained high levels of Fe, K, Na, and Zn, providing a preliminary overview of the nutritional profile of these novel protein alternatives.
