Implementation of a Mobile-Based Laundry Order Management System at Barack Laundry in Sleman

Barack Laundry is a laundry service business operating in Trini Sleman, a district in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Laundry is an important household necessity, and many people are looking for trustworthy laundry service. Customer demand for laundry services continues to increase along with increasingly busy lifestyles. Although Barack Laundry's services continue to grow, there are still some problems faced by customers in the Trini Sleman area. One of the main problems is the lack of accessibility of information regarding service schedules, laundry status, and estimated costs. It is necessary to develop a mobile-based Barack Laundry application in Trini Sleman to overcome the problems that exist in Barack Laundry. The purpose of designing this mobile-based Barack Laundry application is to facilitate laundry management and customers so as to increase efficiency in the clothing ordering process. Apps can also extend the reach of laundry services to make them more accessible to customers. Features available on the app include a selection of clothing types and services with options such as washing, ironing, and both. The app also provides detailed booking information, scheduling of pick-up and drop-off times, and the option of online payment methods. The user-centered design method is used in this research by focusing on user needs. Kotlin programming language and MySQL database are also used in the process of developing this application. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the mobile-based Barack Laundry application in Trini Sleman has successfully designed and implemented a mobile-based application for laundry ordering services in the region. This application has been carried out a black box testing process that has been carried out as many as 19 scenarios, with the final test results reaching 100%.

Design and development of a machine-learning-driven opioid overdose risk prediction tool integrated in electronic health records in primary care settings

BackgroundIntegrating advanced machine-learning (ML) algorithms into clinical practice is challenging and requires interdisciplinary collaboration to develop transparent, interpretable, and ethically sound clinical decision support (CDS) tools. We aimed to design a ML-driven CDS tool to predict opioid overdose risk and gather feedback for its integration into the University of Florida Health (UFHealth) electronic health record (EHR) system.MethodsWe used user-centered design methods to integrate the ML algorithm into the EHR system. The backend and UI design sub-teams collaborated closely, both informed by user feedback sessions. We conducted seven user feedback sessions with five UF Health primary care physicians (PCPs) to explore aspects of CDS tools, including workflow, risk display, and risk mitigation strategies. After customizing the tool based on PCPs’ feedback, we held two rounds of one-on-one usability testing sessions with 8 additional PCPs to gather feedback on prototype alerts. These sessions informed iterative UI design and backend processes, including alert frequency and reappearance circumstances.ResultsThe backend process development identified needs and requirements from our team, information technology, UFHealth, and PCPs. Thirteen PCPs (male = 62%, White = 85%) participated across 7 user feedback sessions and 8 usability testing sessions. During the user feedback sessions, PCPs (n = 5) identified flaws such as the term “high risk” of overdose potentially leading to unintended consequences (e.g., immediate addiction services referrals), offered suggestions, and expressed trust in the tool. In the first usability testing session, PCPs (n = 4) emphasized the need for natural risk presentation (e.g., 1 in 200) and suggested displaying the alert multiple times yearly for at-risk patients. Another 4 PCPs in the second usability testing session valued the UFHealth-specific alert for managing new or unfamiliar patients, expressed concerns about PCPs’ workload when prescribing to high-risk patients, and recommended incorporating the details page into training sessions to enhance usability.ConclusionsThe final backend process for our CDS alert aligns with PCP needs and UFHealth standards. Integrating feedback from PCPs in the early development phase of our ML-driven CDS tool helped identify barriers and facilitators in the CDS integration process. This collaborative approach yielded a refined prototype aimed at minimizing unintended consequences and enhancing usability.

Redesain User Interface Pada Website Arlang Tour and Travel Menggunakan Metode User Centered Design Sebagai Media Promosi

The development of information technology in Indonesia, particularly in the tourism sector, has experienced rapid progress. Tourism in Indonesia has become one of the main pillars in supporting national economic growth. CV. Arlang Tour and Travel, a travel agency, has also contributed to this sector. However, their website is still not optimal in terms of attractiveness and completeness of information. The initial survey results, conducted using the System Usability Scale, showed an average score of 52 from 30 respondents, with a grade scale of D, indicating that the website's usability is still below average. This research aims to evaluate and redesign the website, focusing on enhancing content completeness using the User Centered Design (UCD) method for design development, while the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire is applied for evaluation. After the redesign using the UCD method, there was an improvement, with the average score reaching 80 with a grade scale of B. These changes successfully addressed the main issues related to content completeness and improved promotions to expand reach, which is expected to provide a better user experience. This is anticipated to contribute to an overall improvement in user experience and strengthen the image of Arlang Tour and Travel in the tourism industry.

Developing personas to inform the design of digital interventions for perinatal mental health.

Digital interventions are increasingly in demand to address mental health concerns, with significant potential to reach populations that disproportionately face barriers to accessing mental health care. Challenges with user engagement, however, persist. The goal of this study was to develop user personas to inform the development of a digital mental health intervention (DMHI) for a perinatal population. We used participatory User-Centered Design (UCD) methods to generate and validate personas (ie, representative profiles of potential users). We applied this methodology to a case example of an Anxiety Sensitivity Intervention. Phases included (1) Characteristic identification, (2) Persona generation, (3) Persona consolidation, (4) Persona validation, and (5) Persona refinement. Advisory Council members with lived expertise of perinatal mental health conditions generated 6 personas. We used cluster analysis and qualitative analysis to consolidate personas. We used participant interviews with perinatal individuals experiencing depression or anxiety and economic marginalization (n = 12) to qualitatively validate and refine these personas. We identified 4 user personas with potentially unique design needs that we characterized as being "Resilient," "Lonely," "Overwhelmed," and "Aware." Personas generated through this process had distinct characteristics and design implications including the need to prioritize (1) content personalization, (2) additional content describing support options and resources (eg, doulas, midwives), (3) careful consideration of the type of information provided by users, and (4) transparent options for information and data sharing. DMHIs will need to be adapted for relevance for a perinatal population. The personas we developed are suggestive of the need for design considerations specific to distinct potential user groups within this population.

Using Systems Engineering and Implementation Science to Design an Implementation Package for Preoperative Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment Among Older Adults Having Major Abdominal Surgery: Protocol for a 3-Phase Study.

Older Americans, a growing segment of the population, have an increasing need for surgical services, and they experience a disproportionate burden of postoperative complications compared to their younger counterparts. A preoperative comprehensive geriatric assessment (pCGA) is recommended to reduce risk and improve surgical care delivery for this population, which has been identified as vulnerable. The pCGA optimizes multiple chronic conditions and factors commonly overlooked in routine preoperative planning, including physical function, polypharmacy, nutrition, cognition, mental health, and social and environmental support. The pCGA has been shown to decrease postoperative morbidity, mortality, and length of stay in a variety of surgical specialties. Although national guidelines recommend the use of the pCGA, a paucity of strategic guidance for implementation limits its uptake to a few academic medical centers. By applying implementation science and human factors engineering methods, this study will provide the necessary evidence to optimize the implementation of the pCGA in a variety of health care settings. The purpose of this paper is to describe the study protocol to design an adaptable, user-centered pCGA implementation package for use among older adults before major abdominal surgery. This protocol uses systems engineering methods to develop, tailor, and pilot-test a user-centered pCGA implementation package, which can be adapted to community-based hospitals in preparation for a multisite implementation trial. The protocol is based upon the National Institutes of Health Stage Model for Behavioral Intervention Development and aligns with the goal to develop behavioral interventions with an eye to real-world implementation. In phase 1, we will use observation and interviews to map the pCGA process and identify system-based barriers and facilitators to its use among older adults undergoing major abdominal surgery. In phase 2, we will apply user-centered design methods, engaging health care providers, patients, and caregivers to co-design a pCGA implementation package. This package will be applicable to a diverse population of older patients undergoing major abdominal surgery at a large academic hospital and an affiliate community site. In phase 3, we will pilot-test and refine the pCGA implementation package in preparation for a future randomized controlled implementation-effectiveness trial. We anticipate that this study will take approximately 60 months (April 2023-March 2028). This study protocol will generate (1) a detailed process map of the pCGA; (2) an adaptable, user-centered pCGA implementation package ready for feasibility testing in a pilot trial; and (3) preliminary pilot data on the implementation and effectiveness of the package. We anticipate that these data will serve as the basis for future multisite hybrid implementation-effectiveness clinical trials of the pCGA in older adults undergoing major abdominal surgery. User Engagement in an Online Digital Health Intervention to Promote Problem Solving

Abstract Digital health interventions (DHIs) can facilitate positive health outcomes. User engagement (UE) plays an important role in DHI efficacy. Yet, DHIs vary in functionality, design and intended outcomes, underscoring the importance of incremental, user-centred design to understand engagement in specific settings. This study explores the relationship between user engagement and DHI implementation in three design iterations, or rounds, of a unique, multi-week asynchronous intervention that leverages online discussion and problem-solving therapy (PST). The intervention seeks to engage older adults to improve problem solving skills relating to the intervention focus, health aging (two rounds) and Lewy Body Dementias (LBD) caregiving (one round). The PST component drew upon personas, a common user-centered design method, in a novel way. Exit interviews were conducted at the end of each round to understand participants' experiences. Using thematic analysis, we identified factors that contributed to social engagement (‘engaging with others’) and learning engagement (‘engaging with content’) with the DHI. The findings demonstrate how iterative changes in the design and delivery of a DHI can contribute to user engagement, increasing the likelihood of knowledge acquisition and developing problem-solving skills as part of health self-management.

User Interface Design for the Orca Music Player Mobile Application

The rapid development in the field of information technology has resulted in a significant change in the way music is listened to. The current digital generation prefers to listen to music online through their digital devices. Thus, designing User Interface and User Experience on Mobile Music Player Applications using the User Centered Design method which consists of Plan the human centered process, Specify the context of use, Specify user and organizational requirements, and Produce design Solution. The target audience for this design is productive age children 15-35 years old with product limitations that only reach the prototype stage and feature services that are still lacking. The platform used is the android and ios mobile platform and UI design by making Wireframe of the application design.

E-Catalog Promotion of Fishermen Business Group with User Centered Design Method

This research aims to design a promotional e-catalog for fishing business groups using the User Centered Design (UCD) method to improve the quality of their promotional services online. The partners in this research are the Fisheries Supervisory Community Group in Batu Basar Village, Nongsa District, Batam City, Riau Islands. So far, this group and fishermen have often faced obstacles in promoting their products effectively to potential consumers, especially in the rapidly developing digital era. The UCD method used in this research is a user-focused approach. The initial stage of research includes gathering information regarding the needs and preferences of potential users, including fishing business groups and potential consumers. This information was obtained through interviews, observations and literature studies. Based on the data collected, a promotional e-catalog was designed that took into account user needs and promotional objectives which included features such as complete product descriptions, product photos, price information, user testimonials and contact information. After the design is complete, the manufacturing stage is carried out and then continues to the testing stage involving potential users. This testing aims to maximize usability, efficiency and user satisfaction. The test results used the Nielsen model with five indicators with the results of Easy To Learn getting a score of 3.85, Efficiency To Use getting a score of 3.75, the Easy To Remember indicator getting a score of 3.85, and the Few Errors indicator getting a score of 4.05. Then the fun to use indicator has a value of 3.95.

Decentralized AIoT based intelligence for sustainable energy prosumption in local energy communities: A citizen-centric prosumer approach

The role of prosumers who are consumers who produce, store, and consume energy is vital to the uptake of renewable energies in Local Energy Communities (LEC). However, the integration of prosumers in the smart grid to facilitate bidirectional flows of energy and information depends on intelligent operations of energy systems and flexible structures of the existing energy markets. But existing energy trading mechanisms are faced with issues of trust, privacy, security, and energy pricing determination. Also, there are fewer studies based on a citizen-centric prosumer approach. Thus, there is need to provide reliable solutions that addresses the aforementioned challenges faced by prosumers in LEC. Advancements in disruptive technologies, such as Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT) have transformed a broad spectrum of intelligent systems in smart cities. Therefore, this study examines the integration of AI and IoT as AIoT and DLT towards a citizen-centric prosumer approach for decentralized energy markets trading. Additionally, this article develops an architectural model for energy prosumption in LEC using design science approach based on a user-centred design method that shows a possible implementation concept to support energy sharing and trading in LEC. The architectural model supports trust, data privacy, security, and energy pricing determination using AI and smart contracts to provides real-time energy trading monitoring, easy access, control, and immutable logs to unearth underlying energy demand and supply patterns thereby supporting citizen-centric prosumer approach. Finally, a use case scenario of DLT and AIoT for prosumption operations is presented.

Designing The UI/UX of a Website Introducing Traditional Culture Focusing on Dance Using the User-Centered Design Method

Culture is the entire system of ideas, actions and results created by humans in social life that humans possess through the learning process. Introduction to traditional culture is an important part in maintaining and developing the identity of a society. In the digital era, the use of technology as a medium to promote traditional culture is very important. Mahograyasah art studio is one of the art studios or places to learn art which currently has problems, namely in the delivery of material. As a result, learning effectiveness decreases and participants have difficulty mastering the material well. The participants felt it was ineffective to receive the material directly and preferred to practice. However, due to the time and large number of participants, direct practice is difficult. Apart from that, the studio does not provide video tutorials for independent study at home, so participants only rely on learning when practicing in class. To overcome this problem, researchers used the User-Centered Design (UCD) method by developing a web-based prototype. Testing was carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS). In this research, figma is used to design a website which contains dance material, dance videos, games and locations. The result of this research is a dance learning website prototype for the Mahograyasah studio. Based on prototype testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, the average SUS score obtained was 88. 625. Thus it can be concluded that the Introduction to Traditional Culture learning website focusing on Dance has been accepted and meets the expected criteria. The Solutions in Health Analytics for Rural Equity Across the Northwest (SHARE-NW) Dashboard for Health Equity in Rural Public Health: Usability Evaluation.

Given the dearth of resources to support rural public health practice, the solutions in health analytics for rural equity across the northwest dashboard (SHAREdash) was created to support rural county public health departments in northwestern United States with accessible and relevant data to identify and address health disparities in their jurisdictions. To ensure the development of useful dashboards, assessment of usability should occur at multiple stages throughout the system development life cycle. SHAREdash was refined via user-centered design methods, and upon completion, it is critical to evaluate the usability of SHAREdash. This study aims to evaluate the usability of SHAREdash based on the system development lifecycle stage 3 evaluation goals of efficiency, satisfaction, and validity. Public health professionals from rural health departments from Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Alaska were enrolled in the usability study from January to April 2022. The web-based evaluation consisted of 2 think-aloud tasks and a semistructured qualitative interview. Think-aloud tasks assessed efficiency and effectiveness, and the interview investigated satisfaction and overall usability. Verbatim transcripts from the tasks and interviews were analyzed using directed content analysis. Of the 9 participants, all were female and most worked at a local health department (7/9, 78%). A mean of 10.1 (SD 1.4) clicks for task 1 (could be completed in 7 clicks) and 11.4 (SD 2.0) clicks for task 2 (could be completed in 9 clicks) were recorded. For both tasks, most participants required no prompting-89% (n=8) participants for task 1 and 67% (n=6) participants for task 2, respectively. For effectiveness, all participants were able to complete each task accurately and comprehensively. Overall, the participants were highly satisfied with the dashboard with everyone remarking on the utility of using it to support their work, particularly to compare their jurisdiction to others. Finally, half of the participants stated that the ability to share the graphs from the dashboard would be "extremely useful" for their work. The only aspect of the dashboard cited as problematic is the amount of missing data that was present, which was a constraint of the data available about rural jurisdictions. Think-aloud tasks showed that the SHAREdash allows users to complete tasks efficiently. Overall, participants reported being very satisfied with the dashboard and provided multiple ways they planned to use it to support their work. The main usability issue identified was the lack of available data indicating the importance of addressing the ongoing issues of missing and fragmented public health data, particularly for rural communities.

Enhance the User Interface Design of the booking application at Rana Photo Studio by applying the User-Centered Design (UCD) method

The goal of this research is to create an interface design for a photo studio booking application. The User Centered Design (UCD) method will be used to prioritize the user interface and user experience. The success of the UI/UX design will be validated by involving users directly throughout the development cycle using UCD principles. This will include collecting feedback and continuously improving the design based on user input. The research conducted in this study involved the User Created Design method, which utilized an interactive user interface to enable easy booking of studios with a convenient and efficient booking system for customers to use anywhere and anytime. Online booking overcomes the challenge of scheduling difficulties. The information system is treated with accuracy and appropriateness to ensure direct user accessibility. The research was conducted in three stages, starting with the initial stage of data collection and literature study, followed by the UCD Method Development stage, where the method was developed and solutions to early-stage problems were sought. The final stage included a decision-making process based on the conclusions drawn from the insights of five audiences. Through the application of the User Centered Design method, this research has successfully developed a UI/UX design that meticulously takes into account the users' needs during the studio photo booking process. The evaluation results derived from user feedback has increased the system's effectiveness, provided an intuitive and delightful user experience, and ensured optimal user engagement throughout the entire ordering journey. Based on the evaluation results of user responses, it can be concluded that the system has been successful in providing an intuitive and satisfying experience. Users have given positive feedback regarding the effectiveness of the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX), which indicates significant improvements in system navigation and the ease of the ordering process. A deep understanding of user needs, along with continuous iteration based on feedback, has resulted in a positive experience and ensured a high level of satisfaction with the use of this studio photo booking system. Penerapan Metode User Centered Design pada Aplikasi UMKM Berbasis Android (Studi Kasus : UMKM Kenyot Susu Boyolali)

MSME Kenyot Susu is one of the MSMEs in Boyolali that sells various processed foods and drinks made from colostrum milk. Currently, product introduction activities only involve participating in events and bazaars so that the community reach is not wide enough. Reseller registration is currently still done manually by coming directly to the location. This research focuses on developing Android-based MSME applications using the User Centered Design method which was built using the PHP, Javascript, and Dart programming languages and using the Flutter framework. The testing method uses a usability test with a questionnaire and is measured using a Likert Scale. This research succeeded in developing an Android application as an MSME information system that displays MSME profiles, products sold, reseller data but does not include buying and selling transactions. From the test results, an average score of 79% was obtained in the category (agree/good/like), which shows that the application design that was built was in accordance with user expectations.

MyPEEPS Mobile App for HIV Prevention Among Transmasculine Youth: Adaptation Through Community-Based Feedback and Usability Evaluation.

Transgender men and transmasculine youth are at high risk for acquiring HIV. Growing research on transgender men demonstrates increased HIV risk and burden compared with the general US population. Despite biomedical advancements in HIV prevention, there remains a dearth of evidence-based, sexual health HIV prevention interventions for young transgender men. MyPEEPS (Male Youth Pursuing Empowerment, Education, and Prevention around Sexuality) Mobile is a web-based app that builds on extensive formative community-informed work to develop an evidence-based HIV prevention intervention. Our study team developed and tested the MyPEEPS Mobile intervention for 13- to 18-year-old cisgender young men in a national randomized controlled trial, which demonstrated efficacy to reduce sexual risk in the short term-at 3-month follow-up. Trans men and transmasculine youth resonated with basic HIV educational information and sexual scenarios of the original MyPEEPS app for cisgender men, but recognized the app's lack of transmasculine specificity. The purpose of this study is to detail the user-centered design methods to adapt, improve the user interface, and enhance the usability of the MyPEEPS Mobile app for young transgender men and transmasculine youth. The MyPEEPS Mobile app for young transgender men was adapted through a user-centered design approach, which included an iterative review of the adapted prototype by expert advisors and a youth advisory board. The app was then evaluated through a rigorous usability evaluation. MyPEEPS Mobile is among the first mobile health interventions developed to meet the specific needs of young transgender men and transmasculine youth to reduce HIV risk behaviors. While many of the activities in the original MyPEEPS Mobile were rigorously developed and tested, there was a need to adapt our intervention to meet the specific needs and risk factors among young transgender men and transmasculine youth. The findings from this study describe the adaptation of these activities through feedback from a youth advisory board and expert advisors. Following adaptation of the content, the app underwent a rigorous usability assessment through an evaluation with experts in human-computer interaction (n=5) and targeted end users (n=20). Usability and adaptation findings demonstrate that the MyPEEPS Mobile app is highly usable and perceived as potentially useful for targeting HIV risk behaviors in young transgender men and transmasculine youth.

Currently, many learning websites have been developed to assist people in self-learning from home. However, the developed learning websites are not yet user-friendly for individuals with dyschromatopsia. This is due to the design process not considering using colors that are easily distinguishable for users with dyschromatopsia. Based on the issues, a learning portal website interface that is friendly to individuals with dyschromatopsia is needed. In the design of this application, the method used is User-Centered Design (UCD). Through the UCD method, the needs of users with dyschromatopsia become the main focus of the research. Testing is conducted through usability testing using the Overall Relative Efficiency, Completion Rate, and the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire to measure user satisfaction. The test results show an Overall Relative Efficiency value ranging from 72.675% to 92.130%, Completion Rate testing yields an effectiveness value range of 82% to 96%, and SUS testing yields a score of 81.25. In addition, the author also conducted testing for color-blind accessibility, which resulted in the finding that the contrast ratio of all the pages on the CourseHack website meets the minimum contrast ratio standards.

A multi-site cultural and linguistic adaptation of a hypospadias decision aid for Latinx communities

Latinx, Spanish-speaking (LSS) patients are more likely to experience decisional conflict and regret about healthcare decisions than non-Hispanic, white, English-speaking patients. To adapt the Hypospadias Hub (Hub), a rigorously developed and tested web-based decision aid (DA), for LSS parents. Guided by the Ecological Validity Model (EVM), a heuristic framework was followed to culturally adapt the Hub (see Extended Summary Figure). In stage 1, recommendations were obtained from a focus group with members of the institution's Latinx Community Review Board (Latinx CRB) and semi-structured interviews with pediatricians with Latinx-focused practices. In stage 2, preliminary cultural modifications were made, the Hub was translated into Spanish, and a second focus group with the Latinx CRB was convened to review the revised Hub. In stage 3, semi-structured interviews with LSS parents of healthy boys (i.e., without hypospadias)≤5 years old were conducted to identify any cultural adaptations and/or usability issues regarding the revised Hub. In stage 4, based on parents' feedback, final revisions to the Hub were made. The focus groups and parent interviews were conducted in Spanish; then, the recordings were professionally transcribed in Spanish and translated into English. Interviews with pediatricians were conducted in English; then, the recordings were professionally transcribed. Three coders conducted a qualitative content analysis to identify areas for revision. Changes were applied iteratively. Participants included 3 Latinx CRB members (2 women, 1 did not disclose gender; mean age=48.3, SD=21.2), 3 non-Latinx pediatricians (2 women, 1 man; mean age=49.6, SD=9.1), and 5 Latinx mothers (mean age=34.0, SD=1.26). Participants recommended: 1) featuring video testimonials from Latinx families or including Spanish voice-overs/subtitles; 2) diversifying racial/ethnic/geographic representation and including extended families in photographs/illustrations; 3) adding information about health insurance coverage and circumcision, 4) reassuring parents that the condition is not their fault, 5) considering cultural values (e.g., reliance on expert advice), and 6) clarifying medical terminology. Feedback related to seven EVM dimensions: concepts, content, context, goals, language, metaphors, and methods. Participants perceived the Hub to be informative in guiding parents' treatment decisions. Revisions were reasonable and acceptable for a linguistic and cultural adaptation for LSS parents. We identified and implemented preliminary cultural modifications to the Hub and applied user-centered design methods to test and revise the website. The product is a culturally appropriate DA for LSS parents. Next, English and Spanish-versions of the Hub will be tested in a randomized controlled trial.

Designing UI/UX Thrift shop Website Using User Centered Design (UCD) Method (Case Study: Backfold Market)

Backfold is a second-hand clothing business in Manokwari city that conventional operates with sales requiring customers to visit the store to make purchases. Therefore, a user interface and user experience website were created to facilitate online purchasing without the need to visit the store. The design of the user interface and user experience utilizes the user-centered design (UCD) method with the Figma design application. This method was chosen to design user interface and user experience that involve users based on their experiences. The results of testing using the Maze.design application show that the design of the user interface and user experience is user-friendly with an average usability score of 97.

Development of Geographic Information System for Government With Extreme Programming and User-Centered Design Methods

Software development is among the most powerful needs in every organization and industry in the current generation. It is used to help the functionality of their system by using the software development guide named Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Various system developments have been conducted, including developing a public complaint service system. This research applies extreme programming (XP) and User-Centered Design (UCD) development methods to develop the geographic information system for the Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN) Kediri City complaint service. These development methods are expected to meet user expectations. Also, it can reduce the time required to develop products with results that will be shown by conducting usability testing and validity tests. This research applied extreme programming and user-centered design development methods, both quantitative and qualitative for user testing. The application was successfully developed using XP and UCD development methods. The Kediri City BNN complaint service application was successfully developed in several stages: planning, implementing the design, and program code, followed by the evaluation stage. In the evaluation stage, usability testing results on the geotagging mobile application of the Kediri City BNN complaint service obtained a total score of 92.75% with a very good interpretation, and the validation testing results obtained a value of 100%. Applying extreme programming and user-centered design as a development method produces high usability testing and user experience because, in the development stage, it prioritizes interactions and user opinions.

User Interface User Experience Design with User Centered Design Method On Mobile Application For Laundry KK Reservation

Laundry KK is a business that offers kilogram laundry services established since November 2007, located at Jl. Kejaksaan No. 229A, Pondok Bambu East Jakarta, which provides several services such as dry cleaning, dry cleaning + ironing, bedsheet washing, and shoe cleaning. Currently, the service booking process at Laundry KK is still done manually, where customers have to visit the location to place their laundry orders. With the manual method, there are often issues such as missing or damaged laundry receipts, clothes being mixed up or lost due to transaction recording errors, and the business owner being unable to effectively track the transactions in the business. This research proposes the development of a user interface user experience (UI/UX) to simplify the process for the owner and users of Laundry KK services in creating an attractive interface design that captures the attention of consumers, providing an engaging user interface that makes it easy and interactive to book Laundry KK services. The end result of this research is the Prototype of the Laundry KK Ordering Application created using Figma, with the content features, menus, buttons, and text using the "Roboto" font. The design results were then subjected to a final evaluation with an average SUS score of 87.75, rating it as "Best Imaginable."
