Analysis of using voice assistant technolog in fifth generatio networks

The voice assistant technology is considered in scientific literature as a promising direction for organizing user work with a system of modern devices. Personal voice assistants create for the user the possibility of comfortable interaction with digital devices, bringing him closer to communication with the interlocutor. The relevance of studying the problem of using a voice assistant in fifth-generation communication networks made it the subject of research in this work. The article provides a retrospective analysis of real achievements in the field of practical application of voice assistant technology and identifies some of the most relevant directions for the development of the use of voice assistants. The main trends in the study of implementation and use, development of new generations of personal smart voice assistants are indicated. Conclusions are drawn about possible promising directions for further research. The proposed analysis of the scope of application of voice assistants and a brief description of the history of their creation and development has practical significance and makes it possible to use this publication as a lecture material.

Technology is developing every day in the world and as a result, many software and hardware innovations are emerging that facilitate human life. One of the most obvious of these innovations is the voice assistants working with voice commands. These assistants are a new and fast alternative to touch-based interaction technology that has been in use for years. Voice assistants, which are watched in many fields, are almost not encountered in the field of architecture. Therefore, the subject has been found worthy of study as an original and new research area for architecture. The aim of this study is to investigate the potential use of voice assistants in architecture and to make suggestions in order to become widespread in the field of architecture. In this context, the general usage areas of voice commands are first introduced and the experiences of the user are examined. Afterwards, architecture is divided into five sub branches and voice command technology is examined in terms of these sub branches. Finally, various suggestions are presented to draw attention to the potential contributions that voice assistants can make to the field of architecture. It is anticipated that this study will draw attention to the voice assistant technology and bring a new perspective to the world of architecture that will contribute to all processes of architecture.

A scoping review of patient-facing, behavioral health interventions with voice assistant technology targeting self-management and healthy lifestyle behaviors.

Engaging in positive healthy lifestyle behaviors continues to be a public health challenge, requiring innovative solutions. As the market for voice assistants (Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri) grows and people increasingly use them to assist their daily tasks, there is a pressing need to explore how voice assistant (VA) technology may be used in behavioral health interventions. A scoping review of literature was conducted to address a PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparison, and Outcome) question: across populations, how does the use of voice assistants in behavioral health research/interventions influence healthy lifestyle behaviors versus control or comparison interventions? To inform the science, a secondary aim of this review was to explore characteristics of VAs used in behavioral health research. The review was conducted following Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis guidelines with scoping review extension (PRISMA-ScR). Ten studies satisfied the inclusion criteria, representing research published through February 2019. Studies spanned pediatric to elderly populations, covering a vast array of self-management and healthy lifestyle behaviors. The majority of interventions were multicomponent, involving more than one of the following behavior change techniques grouped by cluster: shaping knowledge, self-belief, repetition and substitution, feedback and monitoring, goals and planning, antecedents, natural consequences, comparison of behavior, and identification. However, most studies were in early stages of development, with limited efficacy trials. VA technology continues to evolve and support behavioral interventions using various platforms (e.g., Interactive Voice Response [IVR] systems, smartphones, and smart speakers) which are used alone or in conjunction with other platforms. Feasibility, usability, preliminary efficacy, along with high user satisfaction of research adapted VAs, in contrast to standalone commercially available VAs, suggest a role for VAs in behavioral health intervention research.

USER EXPERIENCE AND OPPORTUNITIES IN THE USE OF VOICE ASSISTANTS IN INTERACTIVE MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS: AMAZON ALEXA, GOOGLE HOME, APPLE SIRI, YANDEX ALICE

The emergence, development, problems, prospects and statistics of the use of voice assistants in interactive marketing communications have been considered. The use of voice assistants as an interface of interaction with electronic equipment is a new, dynamically developing trend, covering all spheres of human activity. The relevance of the studied problem lies in the fact that the integration of advertising in voice assistants in the near future will affect all types of business in one way to another and become an integral part of a successful advertising campaign: these are the most effective interactive marketing communications of the future. The author’s recommendations on the use of voice assistants in interactive marketing communications have been given.

ВПЛИВ ПАНДЕМІЇ COVID-19 НА ГОТЕЛЬНУ ГАЛУЗЬ

The spread of infectious diseases to COVID-19 and quarantine conditions have significantly affected and continue to negatively affect the tourism and hotel business, so there is a need to study the impact and consequences of the global crisis on the hotel business, in particular, to create conditions for gradual loss of hotel enterprises stagnation in the industry. Hotel establishments faced new problems: lack of guests, closures, falling revenues, security of staff and guests. The hotel business will have to transform and develop further: increase the role of the Internet and social networks in shaping consumer preferences and guest behavior, integrate with online booking services, introduce online payment, open coworking in hotels, create service suites under international and local operators, search new forms of cooperation, use new technologies of doing business. More sophisticated technologies such as artificial intelligence, open software interfaces, augmented reality, the use of voice assistants, blockchain, neurointerfaces, biometrics and face recognition require significant investment, which is currently not available to hotel enterprises. If earlier hotel enterprises paid great attention to the occupancy of the room stock, expanded the range of additional services, improved the quality of guest service, now the main task for institutions is the safety of employees and guests. Regulatory documents related to the procedure for establishing categories of hotels and other facilities intended for the provision of temporary accommodation (accommodation) services need to be reviewed and updated; rules for using hotels; regulatory support in the design, construction, operation and planning in the hotel business. To mitigate the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the hotel business needs support from the state in the form of the following steps: credit vacations during the pandemic, reduction of value added tax, reduction of land tax, preferential lending. In any scenario of a pandemic at COVID-19, the hotel market will survive, but it will be transformed.

Electronic Health Record Interactions through Voice: A Review.

Usability problems in the electronic health record (EHR) lead to workflow inefficiencies when navigating charts and entering or retrieving data using standard keyboard and mouse interfaces. Voice input technology has been used to overcome some of the challenges associated with conventional interfaces and continues to evolve as a promising way to interact with the EHR. This article reviews the literature and evidence on voice input technology used to facilitate work in the EHR. It also reviews the benefits and challenges of implementation and use of voice technologies, and discusses emerging opportunities with voice assistant technology. We performed a systematic review of the literature to identify articles that discuss the use of voice technology to facilitate health care work. We searched MEDLINE and the Google search engine to identify relevant articles. We evaluated articles that discussed the strengths and limitations of voice technology to facilitate health care work. Consumer articles from leading technology publications addressing emerging use of voice assistants were reviewed to ascertain functionalities in existing consumer applications. Using a MEDLINE search, we identified 683 articles that were reviewed for inclusion eligibility. The references of included articles were also reviewed. Sixty-one papers that discussed the use of voice tools in health care were included, of which 32 detailed the use of voice technologies in production environments. Articles were organized into three domains: Voice for (1) documentation, (2) commands, and (3) interactive response and navigation for patients. Of 31 articles that discussed usability attributes of consumer voice assistant technology, 12 were included in the review. We highlight the successes and challenges of voice input technologies in health care and discuss opportunities to incorporate emerging voice assistant technologies used in the consumer domain.
