Evaluation of a pilot of a community virtual triage for breast symptoms outside of usual primary or secondary care pathways.

Both primary and secondary care services in the NHS have been overwhelmed with an increase in referrals on the suspected cancer pathways. The years 2020/2021 saw 551,770 symptomatic breast referrals made in England alone. The Wessex Rapid investigations service in conjunction with the local district general hospital and primary care networks instigated a virtual triage for new breast symptoms. Over the course of a year, 664 people were assessed by either telephone or video using specially trained nurses. Appointments were given within 1-2 working days. The service was highly valued by patients and general practitioners. We were unable to confirm a reduction in referral to secondary care as the evaluation occurred during a postpandemic peak in referrals. We found that 10% of patients with new breast symptoms can safely self-manage. This percentage varied with the experience of the triage clinician. A specialist community face-to-face service could reduce further the need for full secondary care evaluation. Better integration and use of information technology systems would improve the service. The rapid responsiveness and length of consultations is valued by patients. Representation with the same symptoms was rare. This pathway utilises staff outside of the usual primary and secondary care providers and thus reduces the pressure on stretched systems.

Analisa Faktor Penerimaan Sistem E-Learning Narotama Menggunakan Metode Technology Acceptance Model

E-learning is a learning method using information technology, which is designed so that each individual can learn independently. E-learning provides flexibility in choosing the time and place to access subject matter, as well as providing opportunities for learners to take control of their learning success. At Narotama University in Surabaya, the E-learning system used is the result of independent development by the university, which is named the Elina system (Narotama E-learning). The elina system is used by the academic community, lecturers and students who have a background in technological insight, infrastructure, and various main tasks. This diversity can affect behavior / perceptions of system use. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is a theory about the use of information technology systems which is considered very influential and is generally used to explain individual acceptance of the use of information technology systems. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the acceptance of Elina's system by lecturers at Narotama University Surabaya using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) method. The TAM that will be used comes from previous research, namely Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Intention To Use, and Actual Technology Use. With the addition of Learning Interface Design and Accessibility System in Multiplatform constructions. The results showed that the factors of Learning Interface Design and Accessibility System in Multiplatform had an indirect effect on Elina's Actual Technology Use system by Narotama University lecturers through the factors of Perceived of Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use and Intention to Use.

Use of Information Technology Systems for Regional Health Care Information-Sharing and Coordination During Large-Scale Medical Surge Events.

Medical surge events require effective coordination between multiple partners. Unfortunately, the information technology (IT) systems currently used for information-sharing by emergency responders and managers in the United States are insufficient to coordinate with health care providers, particularly during large-scale regional incidents. The numerous innovations adopted for the COVID-19 response and continuing advances in IT systems for emergency management and health care information-sharing suggest a more promising future. This article describes: (1) several IT systems and data platforms currently used for information-sharing, operational coordination, patient tracking, and resource-sharing between emergency management and health care providers at the regional level in the US; and (2) barriers and opportunities for using these systems and platforms to improve regional health care information-sharing and coordination during a large-scale medical surge event. The article concludes with a statement about the need for a comprehensive landscape analysis of the component systems in this IT ecosystem.

This research is an open source system and utilization for libraries with the aim of providing information and the use of information technology systems, of course also getting great benefits from the application of open source systems in libraries, so that with this presence it will be effective in carrying out systems in libraries. In research using a qualitative approach and descriptive method to provide an explanation and present the research data that has been analyzed. IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM INFORMASI PARTAI POLITIK (SIPOL) PADA TAHAPAN VERIFIKASI PARTAI POLITIK CALON PESERTA PEMILIHAN UMUM TAHUN 2024 DI KOMISI PEMILIHAN UMUM KABUPATEN MUARA ENIM

The political party information system (SIPOL) is a special application used by the Indonesian KPU to verify data on political parties participating in elections, which also aims to help political parties manage and update data on administrators and membership at every level. The theory used in this research is 12 principles of the use of information system technology in elections. The research method used is direct observation, documentation and literature. The aim of this study is for evaluating the KPU's development and improvements to the SIPOL application. The research analysis uses inductive qualitative analysis, namely research analysis based on the data obtained and then supported by reference materials. The results in this study are that SIPOL is effective in assisting KPU performance in verifying political party membership data. As well as being efficient, transparent, easy to use, flexible, and accurate in helping Political Parties manage and update Management and Membership data at every level. The design of SIPOL is not only intended to provide services to political parties to fill in management and membership data and assist the KPU in conducting administrative and factual verification, but also to encourage accountability, transparency, and public participation in controlling the work of the KPU in conducting the verification process of political parties.

Companies must have certain strategies in adapting in the new normal in order to survive. The author wants to discuss the strategy of PT. XYZ which is engaged in gas and oil mining in Sumatra to face the new normal era specifically in the field of Human Resources. This field research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with narrative analysis techniques as the data analysis technique used. PT. XYZ has a specific strategy in the field of human resources in this new normal period, including implementing a hybrid work pattern, starting to carry out offline certification pelatihan, and optimizing employee capabilities in the use of information technology systems. Companies must make plans that are flexible in facing this new normal era.

The Use of Information Technology System for Risk Control at a Sharia Cooperative

The use of technology plays an unnegotiable role in the risk control of sharia cooperatives. Because almost all sharia cooperatives lack proper information technology systems, many cooperatives are unable to recognize the risks, particularly due to a lack of liquidity as well as a lack of managerial supervision and control over operational transactions carried out by officers. An improvement in the current information technology systems can replace these roles. This study analyzes the use of information technology systems in the financing, liquidity, and sharia compliance risk control in the BMT UGT Nusantara Cooperative, located in Pasuruan East Java. This descriptive qualitative involves informants of administrators, supervisors, managers, branch heads, and IT providers. With automatic notification system, applicant screening, application adjusting policies and regulation, this study indicates that upgrading information technology systems are critical to minimizing risks and lowering the ratio of non-performing financing. It also eases the applicants as well as the institution in the process of application and screening as well as an installment payment.

Penggunaan Teknologi Sistem Informasi dan Manajemen sebagai Tehnik untuk Menurunkan Nyeri dan Ansietas pada Pasien Anak

This study aims to synthesize evidence/literature on the use of information system technology in applying active and passive distraction techniques to reduce pain scores in pediatric patients. The research method used in this study is a literature review. The research results based on the search for articles using the PICOT framework in the database Google Scholar were limited to the range of the last ten years, 2010-2020, which obtained five journals. The results showed that active and passive distraction techniques reduced pain scores in pediatric patients. In conclusion, active and passive distraction techniques can be used as non-pharmacological therapy that nurses can do to score pain in pediatric patients.

SISTEM INFORMASI PENGGAJIAN PADA BMT BINA UMAT MANDIRI

This study aims to determine and evaluate the payroll information system at Baitul Maal Wa Tamwil Bina Usaha Mandiri (BMT BUM) which includes functions, procedures, documents and internal controls. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was obtained from observation, interviews and literature study. In general, the payroll information system at Baitul Maal Wa Tamwil Bina Usaha Mandiri (BMT BUM) has been implemented properly and in accordance with the related theory. Although there are some differences, it is not a problem, because the differences are due to the characteristics of the organization, the use of information technology systems and are still under internal control system.

 At HOTSPODT (Hospital Ship for Covid Disaster) there are no stages regarding the application of the use of information technology systems, especially for securing patient data which includes personal data and patient medical records. Confidential patient data collected during the current pandemic, including the patient’s name, address, diagnosis, family history and medical records without the patient’s consent, may pose a risk to the individual concerned. The concept of patient data security is adjusted to the user’s position on the importance of data. Access to patient data authorization is one of the security gaps that the security system needs to pay attention to and guard against. So, in this case applied a data security algorithm in the form of cryptography. The algorithm used is the Blowfish Algorithm. The test results of the scenario in the application prove that it can be successfully processed from the encrypted file to ciphertext until it is returned as the original file.
 
 
 

STRATEGI PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PELAYANAN MEDIK PADA RSUD. KOTAPINANG KABUPATEN LABUHANBATU SELATAN TAHUN 2020

Hospitals are always required to improve the quality, scope and efficiency of hospital services through improving and developing hospital management, especially from human resources, funding and information towards hospital independence while still paying attention to their social functions. In providing complete health services to the community, the hospital must always pay attention to all aspects that play an important role. This study aims to describe the relevant strategies to be implemented by the RSUD. Kotapinang in improving the quality of services obtained as a result of the recommendations from the SWOT analysis using qualitative descriptive research conducted from January to June 2020. This study used snowball sampling techniques with initial informants as many as 5 directors consisting of: Head of Kotapinang District Hospital, Labuhanbatu Selatan District, Head of Medical Services, General Hospital of Kotapinang District Hospital, Inpatients in Kotapinang District Hospital and Patients who visited Kotapinang District Hospital. The results of the study concluded that it was necessary for the Regional Hospital. Kotapinang Regency of South Labuhanbatu needs to work on self-improvement through improving the quality and quantity of work supporting facilities and facilities in the delivery of health services and Striving for the use of information technology systems in assisting the service process while seeking access to the procurement of high technology products in the health sector to support increased quality of service.

Cybercrime in Automotive Security in the 21th Century

. Intelligent transportation systems introduce smart technology to civil transportation infrastructure. Modern services depend on the use of information technology systems. Cybersecurity plays an important role in the ongoing development of information technology. Enhancing cybersecurity and protecting critical information infrastructures are essential to each national security. Nowadays, vehicles are equipped with electronic security systems that automatically call the emergency service operator in case of an accident. This safety system combines different technology in order to ensure vehicle safety. When you are unconscious, the system informs the rescuers where the accident happened. They arrive at the scene of the accident within a few minutes. The introduction of this system in vehicles results from Regulation (EU) 2015/758 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2015 on type-approval requirements for the deployment of the 112 on-board eCall system and amending Directive 2007/46/EC. Nevertheless, there is concern that this could expose connected cars with their passengers to potential risks from online threats. Scientific development for the security of our vehicles has also raised the possibility of misuse of vehicle data. It is seen that e-threats have become the leading threats in the further deployment of e-services in the society of the 21st century.

Contribution of information technology (IT) system in overcoming neonatal jaundice: a systematic literature review

Information technology systems can improve efficiency, quality of service, security and improve the quality of diagnosis, especially in the incidence of neonatal jaundice, because the incidence of jaundice that is not monitored can cause increasingly severe problems so that it can cause kernicterus and can also cause death in neonatal. This paper is focused on analyzing the contribution of information technology systems to health problems especially neonatal jaundice. The study design uses a systematic literature review with international journals in electronic databases. Journal criteria used the Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) technique from 2011-2019. This systematic literature review concludes that information technology systems have a role in health care, wherefrom several technologies have proven to be able to detect, diagnose, treatment and education that is easy, fast, effective and can be used whenever needed in overcoming the problem of neonatal jaundice. However, the use of information technology systems has not been comprehensive so that it needs development especially in areas with limited access.

Designing of Information System for Stock Management using the FAST (FRAMEWORK FOR THE APPLICATIONS) Method

The use of information technology system in managing data of various company activities, especially in the warehouse, is an important part for every company. From the observation that have been made, the information system for recording goods flow in PT Global Infotech Solution is still done manually. During this time, employees carry out the process of recording data of goods at the warehouse using paper, so that the risk of data loss is easily caused by tearing, wet or tucked with other data. The system development method that used is the FAST (Framework for Application System Thinking) Method. This study aims to design an information system for recording goods flow which is expected to make it easier for employees to record goods in the warehouse. Using a computerized system can shorten the time and protect all data items from the risk of theft. The result of this study is designing an information system for recording goods in the form of information systems using the Unified Modeling Language and User Interface. This item recording information system is expected to be able to change the process from a manual recording system to a computerized recording system, so that it can speed up every recording process and minimize the possibility of mistakes in entering the data of goods in the warehouse.

Implementation of E-Government Working to Improve Effectiveness

E-government is a system application that can be used for transaction processing and monitoring the creation of documents that exist in government, especially in the field of community service. E-Government is one of the application services of the Smart City program run by the central government. Jakarta Smart City is an attempt by the government to develop a system of government that is effective, efficient, and transparent to optimize the use of Information Technology systems. E-Government is now applied in several villages. This type of research used by the authors in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection technique were interview, observation and documents related to the study. Data analysis techniques in the study conducted qualitatively. The results of this study explained that the implementation of E-Government in the field of public services of government offices has been quite effective. It is measured based on indicators measuring the effectiveness according to Gibson.

Eco-innovation in garden irrigation tools and carbon footprint assessment

This article describes the eco-innovative characteristics implemented in electronic devices for irrigation with smart-gardening solutions, such as internet connection for weather forecast and sensors of soil moisture contents, as well as a database with different plants necessities. The main function of these products is to collect and analyze the information related to plants needs, thus reducing water and fertilizer consumption. In addition to quantify the environmental impact of savings in these two resource flows (40% water and 20% fertilizers savings) compared with conventional irrigation systems, an ISO 14067 compliant life cycle-based carbon footprint evaluation has been performed to quantify environmental impact of the product itself. The main methodological issue is finding a means on how to proceed when the main environmental benefit of the product under study is, in fact, the service it provides to other systems and when this service cannot be included directly in the product’s carbon footprint calculation due to lack of defined standard-use conditions (such as meteorology or soil composition). Implementation of smart irrigation tools in gardening and agriculture can lead the transition toward more sustainable production systems worldwide, as well as being an example of business transformation toward resource efficiency improvements through the use of information technology systems to contribute to circular economy.

Exploring SME cybersecurity practices in developing countries

ABSTRACTThe continued use of information technology systems by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in developing countries has the potential to bring significant benefits but, at the same time, expose them to online cybersecurity threats. Addressing these threats is, therefore, of paramount importance for developing countries, not only because SMEs are seen as the vehicle for employment and job creation, but because research on SMEs and cybersecurity in this context is limited. This study is a contribution toward addressing this gap.The purpose of this study is, therefore, to explore SME cybersecurity practices and the challenges they face in developing countries. The goal is to sensitize practitioners and government institutions about the challenges and practices faced by SMEs, so that the various parties can work collaboratively in providing context-specific solutions to address these challenges and improve current cybersecurity practices. The study follows a qualitative enquiry approach to solicit information from three South African SMEs that had implemented cybersecurity practices. The findings show that an SME’s perception of cybersecurity is constrained by internal factors of budget, management support, and attitudes. Further findings show that SMEs’ cybersecurity practices are affected by the landscape of cybersecurity, as well as institutional pressures.

Implementation of Pharmaceutical Care Standard in Jambi City's Pharmacies

In the last five years, the pressure to implement pharmaceutical care focuses on the patient getting stronger. The current standard of pharmacy care at a pharmacy established by regulation of health minister number 73/2016, as a guideline for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in organizing pharmaceutical care. This research was conducted in the city of Jambi in order to determine implementation of pharmaceutical care standard at pharmacy, to identify the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in implementing pharmaceutical care in the Jambi city’s pharmacy. This study is an observational descriptive study, conducted with a survey phase, followed by a phase of observation and in-depth interviews phase. Total respondents who conducted a survey of 105 pharmacist from 143 pharmacies. Then performed an observation using a checklist sheet at 20 pharmacies and in-depth interviews on 17 pharmacists. The questionnaire survey used convenience sampling technique and sampling techniques for observation and in-depth interviews with maximum variation sampling. Methods of data analysis was done descriptively to see the implementation of pharmaceutical care standard. Qualitative data were presented descriptively to identify supporting and barriers factors. Results of the research are based on a survey, in managing the pharmaceutical, medical supplies and consumable medical materials carried out by pharmacist assisted pharmacy technicians, but its implementation in the field is mostly done by the pharmacy technicians under the responsibility of the pharmacist. Clinical pharmacy services running on prescription services, drug information services and partly on the counseling. Home pharmacy care, monitoring drug therapy and monitoring of drug side effects and clinical documentation has not been done. Based on interviews unknown, factors supporting the implementation of the standard is support pharmacy technicians personnel, support of owner pharmacy, the presence of a pharmacist with a regular schedule of practices, the use of information systems technology and motivation of pharmacist. Whereas the barriers factor are factors in patients where there is doubt the patient to the pharmacist and staff, the limited presence of the pharmacist, the shortage of skills,and there is no space of counseling services and the limited number of pharmaceutical human resources.
