Penggunaan Sistem Informasi Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) dan Komunikasi Verbal terhadap Adaptive Performance

This research aims to find out how much influence the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Information Systems and Verbal Communication has on Adaptive Performance at PT. Pratama Abadi Industri Sukabumi. The respondents in this study were 36 employees. This research method uses a quantitative method with an associative descriptive approach. This research carried out multiple correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient, multiple linear regression analysis, determination coefficient test and hypothesis testing partially (T test) and simultaneously using (F test). The results of this research show that there is a positive and significant influence between the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Information Systems on Adaptive Performance. by producing Tcount greater than Ttable, namely (2.069>2.034) with a significance of 0.046>0.05. Verbal communication has a positive and significant effect on adaptive performance, this is proven by the results of Tcount being greater than Ttable, namely (2.063 > 2.034) with a significance of 0.047 > 0.05. The contribution in measuring the influence of the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) information systems and verbal communication on adaptive performance is 81.9%, while the remaining 18.1% is the influence of other factors outside this research. Analysis of The Influence of Enterprise Resources Planning Adoption and Information Technology Applications on Quality of Accounting Report

This study aims to ascertain how user skills, information technology utilization, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) adoption affect accounting report quality. Causal study methodology is employed in this work. The method for gathering data was a questionnaire. The study's respondents are employees who have used accounting information systems. Convenience sampling, or non-probability sampling, was used to choose the sample for this study. Multiple linear regressions are employed in this study. According to the research findings, the use of enterprise resource planning, information technology, and user knowledge together had a favorable and significant effect on the quality of accounting information. The quality of accounting information can be enhanced by ERP adoption when backed by top management commitment and support, ease of system integration, system capacity to meet needs, vendor training, and solutions that satisfy needs. The quality of accounting information is positively impacted by IT, which is supported by a solid infrastructure, including functionally matched computers, computer networks, internet access, effective accounting procedures, software-assisted data processing, information system output, and infrastructure upkeep. Furthermore, the quality of accounting information can be enhanced by solid user knowledge, reinforced by education, training, and user experience. When managing accounting information systems, businesses must consider these criteria to guarantee that the data generated is reliable, accurate, timely, comprehensive, and verifiable. Thus, companies can make better decisions based on accurate and relevant information.

Design and Implementation of an RFID System for Order Tracking in Smart Manufacturing: A Case Study of a Mechanical Factory

Six Sigma is a well-liked technique for raising productivity and quality of output in industrial processes and process improvement initiatives. In the Six Sigma methodology, abnormalities in the operational process are reviewed and examined using the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) cycle. Corrective action is then taken to reduce bottlenecks to enhance productivity, ensure stable product quality, and create a tightly connected production cycle. This study proposes the use of integrating statistical hypotheses into the DMAIC cycle of the Six Sigma method and proposes the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) modules to monitor production processes at a major mechanical processing company. Lean tools are also suggested by the author to be used in the analysis phase. The research results show a reduction in the rate of late product delivery to users from 6.28% to 0.02% per month. The lean tool application model, statistical hypotheses, and industry 4.0 system are integrated into the EPR system at the company's improvement department and are considered a model for manufacturing companies to refer to in implementing improvements for their products. This journal discusses the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in Indonesia. Implementing ERP in MSME can help improve flexibility and integrate all business processes, such as inventory management, finance, production, and sales. However, implementing ERP requires careful preparation, including selecting the right vendor, optimizing internal teams, and preparing human resources. The research method used is the Participatory Action Learning System (PALS), which involves active participation from stakeholders of MSME and ERP vendors. The process of implementing ERP systems in MSME includes stages of meetings, planning, system design, education and mentoring, and using the system in business operations. The steps for implementing ERP systems in MSME include Sales Briefing Document, Function Requirement Document, User Acceptance Test, Training, and Go Live.

A Definition of the Level of Automation Considering ERP Systems and New Technologies to Confront the Spread of COVID-19 in Medical Centers

Background: With the outbreak of COVID-19 disease to reduce the risk of disease transmission, increasing the level of automation (LoA) in manufacturing and services is the concern of many managers. Objectives: The purpose of this article is to provide a new definition of LoA, considering the increasing use of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and modern technologies such as blockchain and the internet of things (IoT). Methods: First, different generations of ERP systems were studied and three components of information, system, and human were identified in it, then the components of each class were studied and the solutions used in each component were examined. In the continuation of the research, the previous definitions of LoA were reviewed and the existing research gap was identified and the definition of new automation levels was presented. In this research, the Delphi method was used. For validation, the new definition of LoA was adapted to the definition performed by Verplank and Sheridan. Results: New LoA definition by considering the latest technologies in the world for use in production and service centers. Determining the LoA of a medical center and proposing the optimal level of the desired center with the available resources. Conclusions: The new LoA definition can help improve the LoA of medical centers practically.

Critical success factors of teaching information systems and accounting as an integrated programme

This paper has been written as a part of an international educational development project deployed in Germany, Moldova and Austria. In this context we explored through two cases how students can be taught at university level for the use of Enterprise Resource Planning and accounting by using an integrated approach. We identified four success criteria to deploy such a program, and systematically analyzed them in a Hungarian and German setting. Our findings confirmed that the role of instructors, the educational background of students, robustness of technology (hardware and software) and the physical facilities all contribute to the efficiency of the learning experience.

USING ERP SYSTEM TO TEACH ACCOUNTING COURSES

This paper discusses the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems as a teaching tool in Accounting Courses. Students can understand better the accounting cycle and business transaction processing by doing exercises and projects using the ERP system because it clearly shows the complete transaction cycle from the beginning to the end in a systematic and integrated way. Specifically, practical suggestions and usages in the class setting are illustrated based on the SAP system. This hands-on and active learning approach greatly enhances the learning of Accounting Courses such as financial and managerial accounting courses, finance courses, and information systems courses.

Development Of Business Intelligence On Enterprise Resource Planning For Business Small And Medium

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are business sectors that are the foundation of the real sector of the Indonesian economy.SMEs are currently experiencing considerable challenges both from the internal in the form of quality and continuity products and external challenges since the enactment of the ASEAN-China Free Trade Agreement (ACFTA), where automotive manufacturing products from China enter the Indonesian market freely. In the competition open and competitive like this, the use of information technology is an urgent need for SMEs to be able to compete and increase business capacity. Use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in the manufacturing sector SMEs, is an information system that supports daily transactions and operations in managing company resources in an integrated manner, including: funds, people, machinery, spare parts, time, material, capacity, even method. Cross-functional integration capabilities in ERP provide overview of the flow of information on people, goods and services in real time. But a manager companies need not only transactional information, but also require fast data easy to understand to support decision making. This study aims to develop an intelligence business application that is service-reusable for integration, analysis and monitoring the performance of an SME in the manufacturing industry sector. Application development starts with do analysis on transactional data, and do the design of analytic applications provide a decision-making process with time-based access from various data sources,use ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) and graphical data display. The final results of this study describe the relationship between BI processes and modules on ERP.

The Effect of Organisational Learning Capability on Individual Performance through the Use of Enterprise Resource Planning and User Satisfaction

Given the global competition between organisations to deliver products and services, the need for integrated information is felt. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is one of the important technology tools which play an important role in the integration of information in the organisation and is a prerequisite for joining the global market. This study aims to experimentally test a framework for identifying the relationship between organisational learning capability, using an organisational resource planning system, end-user satisfaction and individual performance. The results can be used to adopt human resource policies in the organisation. Smart PLS 2 software is also used for data analysis as well as the structural equation modelling. The results show that organisational learning ability through user satisfaction and the use of organisational resource planning system affects the individual performance.

Analysis and Evaluation of User Acceptance on the Use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems at PT Trisco Tailored Apparel Manufacturing

Enterprise Resource Planning is a system that connects business areas, which benefits companies by increasing productivity, reducing costs, and simplifying business processes. However, it also found a case that considers the use of ERP systems to fail. Therefore, the use of ERP systems needs to be optimized, one of which is in terms of users. This research will be analyzed and evaluated the factors that influence user acceptance using the TAM2 model. The variables used are 11 variables in TAM2, including moderator variables. This research was conducted at PT Trisco Tailored Apparel Manufacturing, with a sample of 43 and an online questionnaire as a data collection method. Data processing using SmartPLS. The analysis conducted in the analysis of inner models such as validity and reliability tests, and analysis of inner models such as the coefficient of determination and path coefficient. The final step is testing the hypothesis with the bootstrapping method. The results obtained are the most significant factor is the image of the perceived usefulness, then the perceived usefulness of the intention to use the system. It has also found that if the system were mandatory, voluntariness would not be significant. Therefore, the results of this study can use as a source of evaluation for the company.

Balancing fluid and cemented routines in a digital workplace

Advanced workplace technologies are increasingly used alongside traditional enterprise software packages (such as enterprise resource planning) in the workplace. However, we have only limited understanding of how different kinds of technologies are used to dynamically shape work routines and fluidity in a digital workplace. We conducted an in-depth six-year study of the use of enterprise resource planning (ERP) system by a large information technology service provider company. The company used the system to manage its global staffing processes. We explored how the users of this system sought to achieve the fluidity needed to do their work. Our findings show that users balance two patterns of routine performance through different technologies with varying degrees of malleability: one to generate fluidity and another to generate stability. We call this process ‘generative balancing’. Our research contributes to the literature on workplace technologies and ERP use by providing insights into how the use of technologies with different degrees of malleability helps to craft digital workspaces and enables users to deal with tensions between accomplishing local-level performance and realizing corporate-level strategic intents.

Job satisfaction of users in enterprise resource planning system environment- the case of Vietnam

In the context that the use of enterprise resource planning (ERP) system becomes more and more popular, this study seeks to investigate the relationship between task-technology fit (TTF) and job satisfaction to provide an additional evidence for evaluating the success of ERP application. Data was collected from a survey on 225 users of ERP systems in enterprises in Vietnam. The results from PLS analysis revealed that TTF is positively correlated with job satisfaction in an ERP environment. This study provides empirical evidence for the application of background theories including TTF and information systems success by DeLone and McLean. In addition, the results also added to the literature the success of ERP, in particular the job satisfaction of ERP users. On the basis of these results, businesses can plan to apply ERP to increase the job satisfaction, thereby increasing the likelihood of success in ERP application. At the same time, ERP vendors and implementers can provide better advice and support for their customers.

CLOUD ERP SOFTWARE SUITABILITY ANALYSIS FOR AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENTS SMALL AND MEDIUM INDUSTRY USING ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS

Small and Medium Industry (SMI) is a form of business activity that is not only limited to the business of buying and selling, but there are activities of production process, simple organizational management, and cooperation with other parties. SMI has limited in terms of cost and management of human resources in improving company performance. With the tight competition of the automotive component industry, there needs a strategy to manage SMIs effectively and efficiently. Information Technology (IT) plays a very significant role in actualizing that. Many of automotive component SMIs in Indonesia still run the companies in conventional ways. Though of course, IT is able to make company management better, through the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. The problem statement in this study is the selection of cloud-based ERP software that is suitable for the automotive component SMI. With the cloud-based ERP, automotive component SMIs have a centralized system. To reduce implementation costs, recommended ERP software is open source. In determining the priority of cloud-based ERP software criteria using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. AHP is used to compare three candidates for cloud-based ERP software, namely Odoo, Idempiere and xTuple. The results obtained that Odoo ranks highest compared to two other software candidates. This shows that Odoo is considered to be able to meet the needs of automotive component SMIs for the needs of cloud-based ERP software.

Student Satisfaction and Continuance Model of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System Usage

The rapid growth through the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems by Indonesian companies has been responded by ERP vendors in providing skilled human resources in ERP environment by cooperating with universities. SAP as one of the ERP vendors has also cooperated with Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia Jakarta, particularly for accounting students, training is conducted since 2013. This study will test the satisfaction model for the students after they complete the ERP training using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Continuance Model framework. This research is an explorative study that examines student satisfaction models in using ERP system. The Technology Acceptance Model and Expectation Continuance Model used to build a proposed model. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to 319 trainees at the end of the session. The result of analysis using Partial Least Square SEM method shows that confirmation variable, perceived ease of use, satisfaction with class, and satisfaction with an instructor have affected student satisfaction in using ERP system. Furthermore, satisfaction with class and instructor influence perceived ease of use, and, finally, students 'satisfaction effect on students' intention to keep using. Based on the analysis results can be concluded that students feel satisfied with ERP training and this affects their intentions in using ERP in the future.

The analysis was carried out by examining the effect of system quality, information quality and service quality on the level of real use and satisfaction of ERP users in banking companies in West Sumatra. Data acquisition was carried out by survey techniques through questionnaires to 140 employees from 4 government banks in West Sumatra (ERP users). A total of 89 data can be processed in this study. Multiple regression statistical tests are used to test hypotheses. Regression test results on model I indicate that there is no influence on the quality of information systems, information quality and service quality at the level of real use of Enterprise Resource Planning. While the test results in model II show that there is an influence of the quality of the information system, information quality and service quality on the satisfaction of users of Company Resource Planning.

SEM–ANN based research of factors’ impact on extended use of ERP systems

The main objective of this research is to test the hypothesis that the two-step structural equation modelling (SEM) and artificial neural network (ANN) approach enables better in-depth research results as compared to the single-step SEM approach. This approach was used to determine which factors have statistically significant influence on extended use of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. The research model and the hypothesized relationships are based on the technology acceptance model (TAM). Majority of research on ERP acceptance has been conducted with SEM based research approaches. The purpose of this paper is to extend basic TAM research which is traditionally based on SEM technique with ANN approach. In the first step of the present research the SEM technique was used to determine which factors have statistically significant influence on extended use of the ERP systems; in the second step, ANN models were used to rank the relative influence of significant predictors obtained from SEM. The main finding of this research is that the use of multi-analytical two step SEM–ANN approach provides two important benefits. First, it enables additional verification of the results obtained by the SEM analysis. Second, this approach enables capturing not only linear but also complex nonlinear relationships between antecedents and dependent variables and more precise measure of relative influence of each predictor.

Regression test results on model I indicate that there is no influence of information system quality, information quality and service quality on the level of real use of Enterprise Resource Planning. Meanwhile the test results on model II show that there is an influence of information system quality, information quality and service quality on the satisfaction of Enterprise Resource Planning users.

How to Improve the Design of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System

The purpose of this research was to explore how to improve the design of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and to find the best way for improve the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in organizational operations. The research samples were 164 organizations in Dongguan. The participants of this research were one ERP user from each sample organization.Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is an invaluable tool in nearly every organization. An organization that cannot apply Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) both as operational tool and as a managerial tool may have a tremendous disadvantage compared to its competitors. This study investigates the role of the designer’s for designed Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in the organizations and to find the best way for improve Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in organizational operations. This study offer important information about the impact of the designer’s roles for designed Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in the organizations.
