Analisis Website Siakad Universitas Janabadra Menggunakan Metode UAT

This research aims to comprehensively investigate and analyze the Janabadra University Academic Information System (Siakad) Website by applying the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Method. This method is used as a framework to evaluate the level of user satisfaction with various aspects of the functionality, security, reliability and responsiveness of the Siakad website. The research involved collecting data through various approaches, including participant observation, in-depth interviews with active Siakad users, and distributing structural questionnaires. The results of an in-depth analysis of the usability dimensions include navigation, information structure, and user interface, while the security and reliability dimensions highlight aspects of data security and system availability. Website responsiveness is also analyzed to ensure optimal accessibility. The findings of this study provide a detailed picture of the strengths and potential for improvement in Siakad. The implications of the findings can serve as a basis for decision makers and developers to make specific improvements, ensuring that Siakad not only meets user expectations but also adheres to high security and performance standards. This study makes a significant contribution in the context of developing academic information systems in higher education institutions, illustrating the importance of the UAT Method approach as an effective evaluation tool. Examining Technology Use and Competence of Higher Education Academics During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Objectives: The present study describes the utilization frequency and competencies of educational technologies among academics at a university in Turkey during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: Participants were 391 faculty members and lecturers working in the faculties and vocational schools of a Turkish university during the 2020–2021 academic year. A survey included questions regarding the use of educational technologies and perceived competency in the use of those technologies. Results: Academics are more familiar with distance education than hybrid or blended learning. Academics reported that blended learning, hybrid learning, and distance education provide more effective education on integrating technology but report that they mostly prefer face-to-face teaching after the COVID-19 pandemic. The top three self-reported competencies are MS Office, the university academic information system, and meeting and course management tools. More information is needed about educational technology approaches and various applications such as augmented reality, simulations, assessments, and video tools. Conclusion: Faculty use of digital tools is limited, they experience significant deficiencies in using various digital tools and systems, and they are less competent in applying these tools. Academics still consider traditional face-to-face teaching as the primary choice if they are free to make decisions in the context of education and training. Thus, there is a need for professional development focused on pedagogical educational technology approaches, models, and methodologies. Implications: Various factors such as the course type, subject matter, education level, technical infrastructure, and technological and methodological support should be evaluated within the context of digitizing universities.

IMPLEMENTASI OWASP ZAP UNTUK PENGUJIAN KEAMANAN SISTEM INFORMASI AKADEMIK

Information security is an important thing that must be considered for every individual and institution in order to avoid crime. Poor information systems can threaten the critical infrastructure of an organization. Problems with system security vulnerabilities or disruptions are widely scattered on the internet. Early detection of the weakness of a system is the initial solution in securing a system. Therefore we need an analysis of the vulnerability of a system that refers to the security standardization of the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) by performing an active scan. Website vulnerability analysis using the OWASP ZAP technique with the help of several security tools is able to determine the security level of a website based on the results of scans and tests that have been carried out where almost every test category is able to find vulnerabilities, although there are several categories that do not have vulnerabilities. The purpose of this study is to identify the vulnerabilities contained in the University Academic Information System website and conduct testing and analysis to determine the condition of the vulnerability of the University Academic Information System website using the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP). The research method used as a website security parameter is OWASP Top-10 2021.

THE IMPORTANCE OF MEASURING THE GAP LEVEL OF INFORMATION SYSTEM USER SATISFACTION IN THE WORLD OF EDUCATION IN UNIVERSITY: ELECTRONIC SERVICE QUALITY MODEL

Education is an important thing in life in order to develop human potential and increase the quality of Human Resources and Human Resources are needed by educational institutions in order to gain success and achieve goals. Servqual in services in the academic field by using the e-servqual method (electronic - service quality). The University is one of the higher education institutions that participate in educating the nation's life and the quality of service has a significant effect on user satisfaction and there is still an academic information system used by the University that is still not optimal.
 This research is a quantitative study with a descriptive statistical approach with 200 students as respondents. The measurement method uses the E-Servqual model. The results of the study based on calculations in measuring the gap show user satisfaction using the electronic service quality method that the Academic Information System has not provided services that have not been maximized in the form of fulfillment and efficiency because the perception is still below expectations while measuring the level of user satisfaction gap as a whole by using the CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) value is 79% and shows that the quality of the University's academic information system services is good.

Pengaruh Kualitas Sistem Informasi Akademik terhadap Kepuasan dan Loyalitas Mahasiswa Perguruan Tinggi

With the increasing speed of information flow due to globalization, the role of information technology is vital and very decisive for an educational institution in increasing its ability to face competition and be able to provide satisfactory services for students. The object of this research is the users of the university's academic information system, namely all active students of TA Geap 2017-2018 with a sample of 450 people. The data analysis technique used in this study is using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Amos. The results of the study show that improving the quality of academic information systems will be able to increase student satisfaction but not necessarily be able to increase student loyalty directly. However, indirectly through satisfaction, the quality of the system can increase user / student loyalty. Improvement and improvement of academic information also through this research directly and indirectly can have an impact on increasing student satisfaction and loyalty. Good service quality in a college is a very important assessment in increasing student satisfaction and loyalty.

Analysis of Brawijaya University Academic Information Systems Acceptance on the User Characteristic, System Quality, Support of Top Management and Information Technology, Perceived Usefulness, and Perceived Ease of Use

Sistem Informasi Dosen (SIADO) as an academic information system for Universitas Brawijaya lecturers are not fully optimized and used since many perspectives about the system, such as system quality complaints and it’s not obligated to use by the University leaders even many benefits can be obtained. This research conducted to describe the factors on SIADO’s user acceptance in five variables, namely is user characteristic, system quality, top management & IT support, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use, using descriptive statistical analysis. Data collection techniques with offline questionnaire were distributed using paper from 96 Universitas Brawijaya lecturers. Validation and reliability were checked with statistics methods and descriptive statistical analysis is implemented to measure the level of categories on each variable to provide calculation and information based on data centralization and dissemination, and acquired categorized data. The results show that all five variables receive high category on SIADO acceptance, which indicates the user perception all five variables are good to be used as a consideration tool in receiving the actual use of the system.

Maturity Level at University Academic Information System Linking it Goals and Business Goal Based on Cobit 4.1

The development of Information Technology (IT) has been mainly discussed nowadays, from the top to the lowest level of society. The application of IT help companies to solve problems and even more, the application of IT has been able to provide business strategic decisions support. Many enterprises decided to allocate large budget on IT implementation where this is in line with increasingly sophisticated expectations from IT. With the assumption that the larger budget on enterprises spent on IT application, the greater the benefits they will receive. Unfortunately, IT implementation does not always give an advantage to the company. There are times when the IT implementation does not give any benefit. This situation is called IT Productivity Paradox. The question is then how IT Productivity Paradox can be prevented. The analysis we will get the significance of the IT processes which is linked to its IT Goal. By knowing the significance of the IT processes, it can be seen which one is the significant process and which one is not to the IT Goal. If the IT process are not significant to the IT Goal, the process does not need to be improved because it has no effect to the IT Goal. This research was conducted to obtain the Maturity Level from each IT process and IT process’s significance to IT Goal. The result of this research is that IT Processes are significant to IT Goal. It can be concluded that IT Productivity Paradox was not occurred.

Chosŏn Korea in the Ryūkoku Kangnido: Dating the Oldest Extant Korean Map of the World (15th Century)

The date of the earliest extant Korean world map, entitled Honil kangni yŏktae kukto chi to (Map of Integrated Lands and Regions of Historical Countries and Capitals) and now in the Ōmiya Library, Ryūkoku University Academic Information Center, Kyoto, Japan, is unknown. The Ryūkoku Kangnido (as the map is commonly referred to), along with three other Korean world maps believed to have been made in Chosŏn Korea in the fifteenth or sixteenth century, is thought to have been derived from a now‐lost world map made in Chosŏn Korea in 1402. Opinions on possible dates for the Ryūkoku Kangnido have varied widely. In this paper, a revised date of between early 1479 and late 1485 is proposed on the basis of a study of the Korean place‐names in the map and changes in the Korean civil and military administration they reflect. It is also suggested that, despite showing most of the rest of the world, the Korean officials who produced the Ryūkoku Kangnido were less interested in portraying current images of neighbouring Asian countries than in presenting an up‐to‐date image of Chosŏn Korea. Strategies for university academic information and service delivery

PurposeTo review issues affecting the current development of university academic information and learning services, and to suggest strategies through which benefits for students and staff might be optimised.Design/methodology/approachRecent literature on university services is reviewed in conjunction with the author's considerable experience in Australian university and research libraries.FindingsConcludes that advances in technology impacting on information services delivery, changes to university pedagogies, and recent research relating to the impact of university spatial design on learning all suggest that universities need to review their overall strategies for the effective delivery of information support for teaching, learning and research.Practical implicationsUniversity support services planners, and in particular those responsible for university library and information services, need to take a broader view of developments impacting on student learning and information support for research.Originality/valueThis paper brings together a wider variety of recent discussions in a format convenient for those faced with the design and management of university academic information and learning support services.
