This study aims to build and design an application and implement a Patient Registration Android-Application at the Pediatric Clinic of Andi Djemma Masamba General Hospital. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research, which is a series of activities or processes to reveal the process of the system process. This research also uses the method waterfall with data collection techniques using data documentation, interviews, and observations. In planning this enlistment application, the UML (model Brought together Displaying Language) comprises of utilization case outlines, movement graphs, arrangement charts and class graphs. Design a logical database using MySQL. The software used in the design and implementation of the system uses XAMPP as a web server, PhpMySQL as a database, visual studio as a web design editor, and android studio as android design editor. Based Patient Registration Android-Application at the Children's Outpatient Clinic of Andi Djemma Masamba General Hospital includes a patient registration page, doctor's schedule, reports, and pediatric poly info. This application has been tested (test case) in order to obtain an application that runs well.

This article transforms the Description of a Cryptocurrency (DOACC) ontology OWL into RelOn-toUML model. The ontology (DOACC) can be downloaded from github, an open-source project. The RelOntoUML model is a combination of the relational database model, the ontology model, and the UML model. The relational model stores data in relations (tables). Ontology is a representation of knowledge and also has an inference engine. The UML model is a popular and frequently used model-ling by software developers. The article also presents the doacc ontology and the conversion of the ontology.

RelOntoUML model of the archaeological findings

In this article, an ontology describing archaeological finds (DhiQar) is converted into the RelOntoUML model, which combines relational database modelling, ontology, and UML modelling. The ontology describing the archaeological finds can be found in OWL on github, it is open source. In this article, the original OWL ontology is also presented using the graphical representation system of the Protége editor. And the RelOntoUML model of the system is also detailed.

UML Templates Distilled

UML templates are possibly the most neglected and misused piece of knowledge in UML modelling. This subject has been disregarded in the research and practice literature and even by modelling tools providers. This paper suggests that such oblivion results from a general misunderstanding that UML templates are just graphical representations of genericity like it is found in programming languages, and from the insufficient support from the modelling tools, with a consequence of poor usage of UML templates in practice. Indeed, the capabilities and potential of UML templates are far-reaching. Increasing awareness around them could bring significant benefits for UML users, namely, higher-level abstraction and reuse. Therefore, this paper provides a distilling tutorial on UML templates to highlight their flexibility and advantages. That presentation follows a tutorial style and is supported by several illustrative examples, varying from simpler to more complex ones. This tutorial reviews the Template construct’s core concepts and terminology, presents constraining classifiers and shows how to define properties and operations as template parameters. Then, it presents and discusses advanced aspects such as operation templates, parameter defaults, the relationship between binding and generalization, and the specific semantics of package templates. Furthermore, the paper discusses the related work and uncovers some of the UML templates’ limitations and opportunities for improvement.

The conversion of the higher education and literature ontology into RelOntoUML

In this article, I will transform an ontology representing higher education and an ontology representing a library into the RelOntoUML model. RelOntoUML modeling is a modeling created from a combination of relational model, ontology, and UML modeling. The relational model is used for database storage. The data is stored in relations. Ontology is a tool for knowledge representation. The ontology describes the elements of a topic. The UML model visually represents the elements of a topic. One of the disadvantages of the ontology model is that software developers are not familiar with it, but UML diagrams and the relational model are well known. The two models (CollageMngtSys, Literature) that will be presented and converted can be downloaded from the gihub in OWL format, and are open source. In this article, after introducing the ontology, relational model, and UML, these two systems are introduced and converted.

Conversion of companies and source code comment ontology into RelOntoUML

In this article, the conversion of a Companies and a source code commenting (SEM) ontology system into the RelOntoUML modelling system is presented. The two ontology systems are in OWL format available on github. After the simplification of the OWL files, I converted these two systems to RelOntoUML. RelOntoUML is a proprietary modelling that combines ontology, UML, and relational database modeling.

Using the SOCIO Chatbot for UML Modeling: A Second Family of Experiments on Usability in Academic Settings

After improving the SOCIO chatbot prototype model, we wanted to know how/if its usability has changed. An evidence-based empirical evaluation of the usability of SOCIO V1 (updated version) requires an extensive verification of the experimental results. A family of experiments is a method of verification whereby we can check if the experimental results are reproducible. Through comparison with the updated control tool Creately, we aimed to gain a better understanding of the usability of the collaborative modeling chatbot and how it could be improved based on experimental evidence of changes in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, satisfaction, and quality. A total of 87 students from three countries were recruited. We conducted a family of three experiments to compare the usability of SOCIO V1 and updated Creately in academic settings. Students appeared to be more satisfied with SOCIO V1, and SOCIO V1 scored better on completeness. There were no significant differences between the two tools regarding efficiency and quality. This study provides evidence on how to employ a family of experiments to improve chatbot usability and enrich knowledge on chatbot usability experimentation.

Исследование дефектов моделей функциональных требований, созданных студентами при объектно-ориентированном анализе

Assessment of the degree of level of IT specialists professional competencies when performing tasks in practice-oriented disciplines is an actual problem. Defects in functional requirements models created by students in object-oriented analysis affect the rest of the information system modeling stages. The aim is to study defects in UCDs. The tasks are study of the distribution of the number of types of defects and their number in UCD with a low level of detail, created by IT-students at the stage of object-oriented analysis; study of the relationship between defects of various types over several academic years in order to detect the influence of pedagogical influence on the density of defects. Statistical analysis methods using relationship scales are applied. As a result of the study of a corpus of 247 models for the period from 2016–2017 to 2021–2022 academic year, 2585 defects were identified. Their classification is used: lexical, syntactic and semantic. Types of defects are identified in each class. The study used indicators: the number of defects types and the number of these defects. As a result, it was revealed that the distributions of UCD defects indicators are not normal distributions. The use of a teaching aid with examples of creating UCD in the educational process, starting from the 2019–2020 academic year, has led to a steady decrease in the number of defects. This is confirmed by a statistically significant 95 % difference in indicators for a pair of academic years 2018–2019 and 2019–2020 according to the Wilcoxon–Mann–Whitney criterion. A positive aver-age relationship was found between the number of defects in the lexical and semantic classes in 2016–2017, 2017–2018 and 2021–2022 academic years. A positive strong relationship was found in the class of lexical defects be-tween types that refer to the attributes of one element of the model. In all other cases, no connection has been iden-tified that can be taken into account. The approach used can be applied to analyze other types of student UML models.

Context-Aware Service Model of a Mobile Library Based on Internet of Things

Appropriate technology needs to be applied in libraries to provide users with more humanized, intelligent, and convenient services to improve service quality. Using theories from library science, management, and modeling, this paper examines library personalized service in the intelligent Internet of Things (IoT) environment using a literature review, comparative analysis, and UML modeling to analyze the influencing factors of mobile library users’ acceptance of personalized recommendation services. Based on the situational awareness framework, the experimental results of the effect of these personalized service recommendations show that the load factor is greater than 0.6, which indicates that the dimensions of a scalar can explain situational awareness. The P-value > 0.01 shows that the mobile library is linear and related to the user, mobile, resource, and service scenarios. Overall, based on this investigation and analysis, countermeasures, and suggestions, a personalized service system framework may be suitable for mobile libraries in the IoT environment.

Design and Implementation of a Node.js Based Computer Network Monitoring Information System at the Department of Communication and Information of Kebumen Regency

Large and complex computer networks have a high risk of failure, so they require monitoring and mapping to maintain service availability. An information system must monitor and map computer networks so that supervision is not done manually and problem handlings can be done quicker. This study aims to design and implement a computer network monitoring-information system at the Department of Communication and Informatics of Kebumen Regency by utilizing the waterfall software development method. UML modelling language used in the design of computer network monitoring information system and implemented with the JavaScript programming language on Node.js runtime environment. This system utilizes the interval function in JavaScript and the system utility from Node.js to check the network devices. This system sends notifications of the network client status changes to registered users. Based on the test results, this system can monitor and provide notifications as well as a map of the computer network belonging to the Kebumen Regional Government, which is managed by the Department of Communication and Information Technology of Kebumen so that the process of handling computer network problems belonging to the Kebumen Regional Government can be carried out more optimally.

An efficient and scalable search engine for models

Search engines extract data from relevant sources and make them available to users via queries. A search engine typically crawls the web to gather data, analyses and indexes it and provides some query mechanism to obtain ranked results. There exist search engines for websites, images, code, etc., but the specific properties required to build a search engine for models have not been explored much. In the previous work, we presented MAR, a search engine for models which has been designed to support a query-by-example mechanism with fast response times and improved precision over simple text search engines. The goal of MAR is to assist developers in the task of finding relevant models. In this paper, we report new developments of MAR which are aimed at making it a useful and stable resource for the community. We present the crawling and analysis architecture with which we have processed about 600,000 models. The indexing process is now incremental and a new index for keyword-based search has been added. We have also added a web user interface intended to facilitate writing queries and exploring the results. Finally, we have evaluated the indexing times, the response time and search precision using different configurations. MAR has currently indexed over 500,000 valid models of different kinds, including Ecore meta-models, BPMN diagrams, UML models and Petri nets. MAR is available at http://mar-search.org.

The design of the system has been carried out with the UML model so that it consists of context diagrams, use case diagrams, actuvuty diagrams, sequence diagrams, component diagrams, collaboration diagrams, deployment diagrams. The system has been built with the following modules: registration module, login module, blank add module, blank detail module, blank edit module, blank delete module, blank print module.</em></p>

The rapid growth of the E-Commerce market in Indonesia is indeed beyond doubt. With the number of internet users reaching 82 million or around 30% of the total population in Indonesia, the E-Commerce market is a gold mine which is very tempting for some people who can see the potential in the future. E-Commerce is a form of changing patterns of interaction between sellers and buyers from direct physical contact and face-to-face to internet-based. With the stages of the User Centered Design method In this paper, the author uses the UML modeling language (Unifield Modeling Language) as a system design tool. From the system testing that has been done, the results displayed by the system when executed are in accordance with the design of the proposed system and interface system. with that stated the sales system has been successfully created in order to be able to help the Shop and Consumers to make the process of buying and selling online. The results of the study show that by identifying business needs, E-Commerce-based sales systems can provide more interesting information features that can meet customer satisfaction. These features include search products, account information, shipping and payment confirmation. Another important factor is trust. In this process trust is the main capital. Because without the trust of both parties, the process of buying and selling E-Commerce can occur and be carried out.

Modeling data protection and privacy: application and experience with GDPR

In Europe and indeed worldwide, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provides protection to individuals regarding their personal data in the face of new technological developments. GDPR is widely viewed as the benchmark for data protection and privacy regulations that harmonizes data privacy laws across Europe. Although the GDPR is highly beneficial to individuals, it presents significant challenges for organizations monitoring or storing personal information. Since there is currently no automated solution with broad industrial applicability, organizations have no choice but to carry out expensive manual audits to ensure GDPR compliance. In this paper, we present a complete GDPR UML model as a first step toward designing automated methods for checking GDPR compliance. Given that the practical application of the GDPR is influenced by national laws of the EU Member States, we suggest a two-tiered description of the GDPR, generic and specialized. In this paper, we provide (1) the GDPR conceptual model we developed with complete traceability from its classes to the GDPR, (2) a glossary to help understand the model, (3) the plain-English description of 35 compliance rules derived from GDPR along with their encoding in OCL and (4) the set of 20 variations points derived from GDPR to specialize the generic model. We further present the challenges we faced in our modeling endeavor, the lessons we learned from it and future directions for research.

ModelSet: a dataset for machine learning in model-driven engineering

The application of machine learning (ML) algorithms to address problems related to model-driven engineering (MDE) is currently hindered by the lack of curated datasets of software models. There are several reasons for this, including the lack of large collections of good quality models, the difficulty to label models due to the required domain expertise, and the relative immaturity of the application of ML to MDE. In this work, we present ModelSet, a labelled dataset of software models intended to enable the application of ML to address software modelling problems. To create it we have devised a method designed to facilitate the exploration and labelling of model datasets by interactively grouping similar models using off-the-shelf technologies like a search engine. We have built an Eclipse plug-in to support the labelling process, which we have used to label 5,466 Ecore meta-models and 5,120 UML models with its category as the main label plus additional secondary labels of interest. We have evaluated the ability of our labelling method to create meaningful groups of models in order to speed up the process, improving the effectiveness of classical clustering methods. We showcase the usefulness of the dataset by applying it in a real scenario: enhancing the MAR search engine. We use ModelSet to train models able to infer useful metadata to navigate search results. Automated Transformation of uml/sysml Behavioral Diagrams for Stochastic Error Propagation Analysis of Autonomous Systems

Abstract Modern technical systems consist of heterogeneous components, including mechanical parts, hardware, and the extensive software part that allows the autonomous system operation. The heterogeneity and autonomy require appropriate models that can describe the mutual interaction of the components. uml and sysml are widely accepted candidates for system modeling and model-based analysis in early design phases, including the analysis of reliability properties. uml and sysml models are semiformal. Thus, transformation methods to formal models are required. Recently, we introduced a stochastic dual-graph error propagation model (DEPM). This model captures the control and data flow structures of a system and allows the computation of advanced risk metrics using probabilistic model checking techniques. This article presents a new automated transformation method of an annotated state machine diagram (SMD), extended with activity diagrams (ADs), to a hierarchical DEPM. This method will help reliability engineers to keep error propagation models up to date and ensure their consistency with the available system models. The capabilities and limitations of the transformation algorithm are described in detail and demonstrated on a complete model-based error propagation analysis of an autonomous medical patient table (MPT).

SISTEM INFOMASI ADMINISTARSI KEUNGAN SISWA BERBASIS WEB DI SEKOLAH MAHABODHI VIDYA

The school payment system at the Mahabodhi Vidya School is still done manually both in term of transactions and data recap. Thus slowing down the payment process, recording and recap of payments. This causes the processes related to school payments have not run optimally. The overcome this problem, the authors propose to design and build applications that suport databases systems so that school payment processing is more effective and efficient. The application of financial administration information systems at the Mahabodhi Vidya School was designed using the waterfall development method with several stages, namely requirements analysis, system design, writing program code, testing programs, and maintaining programs. This application is designed using UML model visualization and developed using the PHP dan MySql programming language as a database. The conclusion of this study is that the Financial Statement Informatin System at Mahabodhi Vidya School has been completed. This systems has a feature so that payments can be made by installments and payment data can be seen in detail. Keywords: system information, payment of SPP, database, waterfall
