Some Fixed Point Theorems Under Contractive Type Conditions in Complex Valued Metric Spaces

The purpose of this paper is to establish some fixed point and common fixed point theorems under contractive type conditions involving rational expression in the setting of complex valued metric spaces. The results presented in this paper extend and generalize some previous works from the existing literature.

Contributions to the coupled coincidence point problem in b-metric spaces with applications

The aim of this paper is to present, in the context of b-metric spaces, coupled coincidence point theorems under some contraction type conditions. The method is based on the application of some coincidence point theorems of Ran-Reurings type in ordered b-metric spaces. Some applications will illustrate the theory. The approach is new even for the case of usual metric spaces.

Altering distances and a common fixed point theorem in Menger probabilistic metric spaces

This paper presents a common fixed point theorem for two compatible self-mappings satisfying nonlinear contractive type condition defined using a ?-function. This result extends previous results due to B. S. Choudhury, K. Das, A new contraction principle in Menger spaces, Acta Mathematica Sinica 24 (2008) 1379-1386, and the result due to D. Mihe?, Altering distances in probabilistic Menger spaces, Nonlinear Analysis 71 (2009) 2734-2738.

Fixed Point Theorems for Multi-valued Mappings with a $$\upphi $$ ϕ Function

In this paper, we introduce a new family of mappings from \(\mathbb {R}_{+}^{4}\) to \(\mathbb {R}_{+}\) and it depends on fixed function \(\uppsi :\mathbb {R}_{+}\rightarrow \mathbb {R}_{+}\), where \(\mathbb {R}_{+}=[0,\infty )\). We call it a \(\Phi _\uppsi \) family. Then we define a new contractive type condition for multi-valued mappings involving a function \(\upphi \in \Phi _\uppsi \). We also establish some fixed point theorems using our new contractive condition. Our results generalize many existing fixed point theorems.

A generalization of set-valued Prešić–Reich type contractions in ultrametric spaces with applications

In this paper, we study the existence and uniqueness of coincidence and common fixed point of a set-valued and a single-valued mapping satisfying generalized set-valued Presic–Reich type contractive condition in ultrametric spaces without the property of completeness. As an application, the well-posedness of a common fixed point problem is proved. An example is given to illustrate our results. Our results generalize and extend the results of Presic–Reich in the context of ultrametric spaces.

An example has also been given in support of our result.
