A field research on Accommodation Tax

Law No. 7194, Digital Service Tax and Certain Laws and Law No. 375 on the Turkish Tax System With the Law on the Amendment of the Decree Law, a new tax calculated on the cost of accommodation services was introduced. The impact of the Accommodation Tax, which has been in practice for a short period, on citizens is essential. On 01.01.2023, 1,020 people were surveyed to obtain their opinions on the Accommodation Tax that was put into effect. It is seen that some of the demographic and preferential characteristics of the respondents in terms of gender, age, marital status, educational status, occupational status, number of annual vacations, accommodation preferences and income status differ significantly within themselves. In contrast, their opinions on the Accommodation Tax do not differ in some variables.

APA Programme in Türkiye

Since the introduction of APAs into legislation, the Turkish tax administration has expressed a welcoming attitude towards APAs in several communiques. Tax officials of the APA department at the tax administration have always stated that the tax administration would be responsive to current and future APA applications. Many companies operating in Turkey have therefore applied to the programme and have concluded APAs. This article details the legislation for the Turkish APA programme and also provides insights regarding current application in practice.

This study first presents the basic concepts and current knowledge on global tax competition and this phenomenon. The main objectives of this study are to present the main practices and instruments of global tax competition, to evaluate the benefits and harms of tax competition in the context of tax havens, and finally to analyze the effects of global tax competition and tax havens on the Turkish tax system. In the light of OECD data, Turkey is the country with the fastest increase in indirect taxes and the highest share in total taxes among OECD countries, which makes it clear that Turkey is among the most negatively affected countries in terms of the effects of tax competition on social justice and public finance.

Stages of development and convergence of bookkeeping and tax accounting in Turkey

Subject. This article examines the organization of bookkeeping and tax accounting in Turkey at the present stage and analyzes the stages of development of national institutions for these types of accounting. Objectives. The article aims to determine Turkey's position in the world according to a number of macroeconomic indicators and establish a development trend, identify the peculiarities of the taxation system in Turkey, systematize the various stages of taxation, conduct a retrospective analysis of the development of national accounting to date, and determine the differences between audit and the unique institution of sworn tax consultants based on the current regulatory framework of the Republic of Turkey. Methods. For the study, I used a post-hoc analysis, and general scientific and particular cognition methods. Results. The article describes the peculiarities of the Turkish tax system, highlights significant milestones in the development of taxation up to the present time, analyzes the development of accounting methods and the current state. The article also defines a stable trend of orientation towards European models, which does not exclude the presence of certain elements of the Islamic model mainly in the banking sector of the economy. Conclusions and Relevance. Turkey's tax system is highly sensitive to advanced European tax methods, which is still combined with the predominance of an Islamic world view based on Sharia law. Currently, the Turkish tax system is focused on European norms, primarily German ones, and the tax burden is defined as low according to the presented world ranking. The developed conclusions and proposals can be applied both in scientific and practical activities in the field of economics and financial law, as well as by educational institutions of higher education.

Comparison of Depreciation Concept and Methods in terms of Turkish Tax System, Accounting Theory and Accounting Standards

Maddi duran varlıklar, işletme bünyesinde yer alan, fiziki yapıya sahip ve bir hesap döneminden fazla süreyle işletme faaliyetlerinde kullanılan varlıkları ifade etmektedir. Maddi duran varlıkların kullanımı sonucunda, bu varlıkların faydalarının tükenen kısmının dönemsellik ilkesi gereği hasılatla eşleştirilmesi gerekmektedir. Ancak bu hesaplamanın kesin bir sonuç verecek şekilde yapılması mümkün değildir. Muhasebe teorisi açısından bu sorun amortisman kavramı vasıtasıyla çözülmeye çalışılmıştır. Maddi duran varlığın maliyetinin tükenen ve döneme isabet eden kısmı olarak ifade edilen amortismanın hesaplanabilmesi için birtakım varsayımlardan yola çıkılarak oluşturulan yöntemler ise amortisman yöntemleri olarak adlandırılmaktadır. Muhasebe teorisi, amortisman kavramına ve amortisman yöntemlerine olabildiğince geniş çerçevede yaklaşmakla beraber teori ışığında oluşturulan muhasebe standartları da teoriyle uyumlu bir bakış açısına sahiptir. Ancak Türkiye'de amortisman konusunda temel yaklaşım olarak muhasebe standartları yerine Türk Vergi sistemi (TVS) benimsendiği için mevzuatta teori ve standartlarla çelişen birçok düzenleme bulunmaktadır. Bu yüzden işletme ilgililerine yönelik faydalı finansal bilginin üretimi ve gerçeğe uygun şekilde sunumu mümkün olmamaktadır. Çalışma ile muhasebe literatüründe yer alan amortisman kavram ve yöntemlerinin muhasebe standartları ve TVS açısından karşılaştırılarak uygulama ve teori arasındaki farkların ortaya konulması amaçlanmış olup TVS’de yer alan düzenlemelerin gerçeğe uygun sunumdan ziyade teşvik veya kısıtlama niteliğinde olduğunu ve söz konusu düzenlemelerde muhasebe ilkelerine uygunluğun gözetilmediğini ifade etmek mümkündür.

Taxation Of Sukuk In Turkey: As An Alternative Financial Product

The markets such as capital markets, financial markets, commodity markets, it creates a domino effect and creates a great impact on the economy. After giving information about the improvement of Islamic finance in Turkey, it describes the kinds of sukuk being implemented in Turkey. As a core study, taxation of sukuk in Turkey and sukuk in Turkish tax system are examined specifically. The objective of this paper is to explain the tax advantages and disadvantages on the products offered by the system to those who want to invest in the alternative finance system or evaluate their savings. In this study, Turkish tax laws were used as the primary source, and the books, theses, articles and conference texts written on this subject were used as the secondary source. This study includes the review of the written works, statistics, documents, laws, practices and works of related international institutions, and open sources of related national institutions. Finally, in this study, recommendations for the necessary regulations for the growth of the Islamic finance sector in Turkey and the results obtained from the study are given. New paradigm in tax management in the footprints of industry 4.0: tax administration 3.0

Purpose- In the 2020’s the tax management is following the footprints of Industry 4.0, tax Office processes which were originally paper-based and partly manual have been digitalised globally, also allowing greater sharing of data within the administration and within government, the incorporation of third party data and the use of enhanced analytical tools. We proposed to start the assessment of the level of the maturity of Turkish tax office’s e- transformation project under the criteria of OECD and compare with similar countries with more advanced and established systems. Methodology- Based on the systematic of OECD Digital Transformation Project Tax Office 3.0 the study planned to cover the six building blocks (tax identity, touchpoints, data management, tax rule and applications, analytic capacity and asssesment and governance frameworks and related 13 indicative attributes and to propose an approach to apply to the Turkish tax Office. Findings- Change in management of tax offices is urgently needed and the sytem is increasingly difficult to manage since the current position is inherently unstable. Some of the 48 countries studied by the OECD Project that have a road map to digital transformations appear to have more mature (established) digitalised tax systems than Türkiye, but we observed that our system which has only started in 2010’s has progressed rapidly especially during the last five years. Turkish Ministry of Treasury and Finance, which has taken substantial steps in the tax system, is now aiming to develop the process that has started with the e-document by expanding the comprehenesiveness of the industries as well as establishing new vanguard projects as the “Turkey Digital Tax Office”. Conclusion- Our findings provide evidence that the tax office can perform better with taxpayer and accountant’s voluntary compliance to system. The study concluded that digital transformation requires integrated approaches and a new approach to co- develop the different systems of government with the tax Office. Turkish Tax Office has to improve the core capabilities necessary to facilitate future tax administration, and fit them together taking into account the mutual costs of change. It is recommended to the Turkish Ministry of Treasury and Finance in order to improve the maturity of the Turkish digital transformation, to develop new strategies to harmonise the needs and interests of government and private sector actors within an integrated digitalized system rather than expanding and diversifying the existing system. Taxation in Virtual Worlds: Analysis Under United States of America and Turkish Tax Regulations

In today's day and age, there is a new world comprised of novel terms like virtual reality, virtual environment or virtual worlds. Virtual worlds allow participants to buy and sell virtual goods and services using virtual currency. Therefore, virtual world transactions bring large amounts of income. In countries that have adopted the recommendations of OECD and G20 countries, tax regulations have begun to be made on the subject. The study aims to discuss the taxation problems arising due to the incredible number of users spending time in virtual game worlds. In the study, Turkish and US tax regulations were examined. The study shows that virtual worlds are getting closer to the real world, there is a transition towards the meta-universe, people earn income in these environments, and there are differences between countries in the taxation of these incomes.

Türkiye'nin Vergi Yapısı: Edirne Değerlendirmesi

Bireylerin bir arada yaşamaya başlamaları ile birlikte, devlet kavramı önem kazanmış ve gün geçtikçe bireylerin artan ihtiyaçları sonucunda devletlere ekonomik anlamda çeşitli fonksiyonlar yüklenmiştir. Devletlerin bu fonksiyonlarını yerine getirebilmesi, diğer bir ifadeyle, kamu harcamalarının finansmanını sağlayabilmesi için temel kaynak ise şüphesiz vergilerdir.
 Bir ülkede uygulanan ve devletlerin egemenlik güçlerini kullanarak yürürlüğe koyduğu ve topladığı vergiler ile bunlarla ilgili yasal düzenlemelerin tamamı ise vergi sistemi olarak adlandırılabilir. Vergi sistemleri içerisinde farklı sınıflandırmalara tabi tutulan vergilerden elde edilen gelirler, iller itibariyle farklılık gösterebilmektedir.
 Çalışmada, Türk vergi sisteminin genel görünümü üzerinden hareketle, Edirne ilinin vergi yapısı değerlendirilecektir. Edirne ilindeki vergi gelirlerinin dağılımı, mükellef sayıları, Edirne’nin seçilmiş (diğer) iller karşısındaki durumu gibi değişkenler yardımıyla, Edirne’nin vergi yapısı değerlendirilmeye çalışılacaktır. Bu anlamda, elde edilen bilgilerin ortaya konulan sonuçları doğruladığını söylemek mümkündür.

Geçici Koruma Altında Bulunan Suriye Uyruklu Kişilerin Türk Vergi Sistemine Uyumu: Bir Ölçek Geliştirme Çalışması

Suriyeli kişilerin vergiye ilişkin tutumlarının belirlenmesi bu çalışmanın problemini oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada Türkiye Cumhuriyeti sınırları içerisinde gelir vergisi mükellefi olan Suriyeli kişilerin Türk vergi sistemine uyumuna dair ölçek geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda Suriyeli kişilerin yoğun olarak bulunduğu Şanlıurfa İlinde gelir vergisi mükellefi olan kişiler çalışma grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda 27 maddeden oluşan 6 faktörlü ölçek geliştirilmiştir. Ölçeğin bütününe verilen cevapların ne katılıyorum/ne katılmıyorum düzeyinde olduğu görülmektedir. Suriye uyruklu mükellefler, diğer mükelleflerin kendilerine göre herhangi bir ayrıcalığa sahip olmadığını düşünmektedir. Dolayısıyla Türkiye’de gelir vergisi mükellefi olan Suriye uyruklu kişilerin vergilendirmeye dair olumlu bir bakış açısına sahip olduğu söylenebilir.

The Tax Treatment of Crypto Assets under Swiss and Turkish Law Compared

The emergence and proliferation of digital payment instruments in the form of cryptocurrencies – such as Bitcoin and numerous coin and/or tokens – raises questions regarding the tax treatment of these uncertificated securities. In this article, some of these questions are answered from a Swiss and Turkish tax law perspective.

Last Regulations on Tax Evasion in Turkish Tax Law: An Evaluation within The Framework of The First Global Principle of OECD

Vergi suçlarıyla küresel düzeyde mücadelenin her geçen gün artan önemi doğrultusunda OECD, vergi suçlarıyla mücadelede on küresel ilke yayınlamıştır. Bu ilkeler, OECD’nin raporunda yer alan 33 ülke için incelenmiş ve gelişmekte olan ülkeler için örnek teşkil edecek nitelikte düzenlenmiştir. Çalışmada Türkiye’ye ilişkin olarak ise herhangi bir veri ya da düzenleme yer almamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, suç ve cezaların kanuniliği ilkesine dayanan ve diğer tüm küresel ilkeler için hukuki altyapı oluşturan birinci küresel ilkenin, Türkiye’de vergi kaçakçılığı suçuna ilişkin olarak yapılan son yasal düzenlemeler çerçevesinde incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Birinci küresel ilke; vergi suçları ve bu suçlara neden olan fiillerin tanımlanması, bu fiillerin genel ve özel kanunlarda yer alması, uygulanacak cezaların açıkça belirlenmesi, daha ağır suçlara daha ağır yaptırımların uygulanması, suç kanıtlanırsa cezai yaptırım uygulanması ve cezai yaptırımların fiili olarak uygulanması gibi bazı hukuki düzenlemeleri kapsamaktadır. İncelemeler sonucunda, raporda yer alan yabancı ülke örneklerinde olduğu gibi, Türkiye’de de vergi kaçakçılığıyla mücadelede birinci küresel ilkeye uygun düzenlemelerin yer aldığı sonucuna ulaşılmış; daha etkin mücadele için birtakım öneriler sunulmuştur.

OVERVIEW OF INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL REPORTING STANDARDS (IFRS) AND APPLICATION DIFFERENCES BETWEEN IFRS AND TURKISH TAX PROCEDURE LAW (TPL)

Purpose- The purpose of this study is to explain the differences between IFRS and Turkish Tax Procedure Law (TPL), give information about how financial statements are presented according to TPL and IFRS, and show the presentation of financial statements in practice by specifying the theoretical and application differences in the two frameworks. Methodology- Within the scope of this research, the balance sheet and income statements were explained in detail in terms of TPL and IFRS applications on account basis, correction and classification records were made within the scope of IFRS, and the financial statements were reproduced for a sample firm. Findings- The general validity of the financial statements prepared by each country according to its own rules is lower than the general validity of the financial statements prepared according to IFRS. Financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS are standardized with a single application integrity. Conclusion- With the implementation of IFRS, it is ensured that all financial statement readers, regardless of country, company or location, gather under a single standard, under a single roof, and interpret the reporting in the same way. Thus, it will increase confidence, transparency and stability in the markets for users of financial statements. Türkiye’de Vergi Denetiminde Etkinlik; Dolayli ve Dolaysiz Vergiler Bağlaminda İnceleme

Vergi kavramı devletlerin kamu harcamalarını finanse etmek üzere vatandaşlarından karşılıksız olarak aldıkları kamusal gelir olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Türk Vergi Sistemi’nde vergiler, dolaylı ve dolaysız vergi olmak üzere iki ana başlıkta tasnif edilmektedir. Etkin bir vergi denetimi devletin kamu harcamalarının finansmanı için gerekli gelirin elde edilmesi, kamusal hizmetlerin aksatılmadan sürdürülmesi ve her bir vergi mükellefinin kamu harcamalarının finansmanına adaletli bir biçimde katılımının sağlanması bakımından önem taşımaktadır. Çalışmada özetle; Türkiye’de vergi denetiminde etkinlik kavramı açıklanarak vergi denetiminde etkinliği belirleyen faktörlere yer verilmekte ve etkinliğin sağlanabilmesi için alınabilecek tedbirler açıklanmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda; Hazine ve Maliye Bakanlığı’nın faaliyet raporlarından alınan geçmiş yıllara ait istatistiksel veriler üzerinden merkezi yönetim vergi gelirleri içerisinde dolaylı ve dolaysız vergi ağırlıkları ile vergi incelemelerinin vergi türü bazında sonuçları dikkate alınarak vergi denetiminde etkinliği artıracak hususlar vurgulanmaktadır. Sonuç olarak vergi gelirleri içerisinde dolaylı vergilerin ağırlığının vergi denetiminin etkinliğini azalttığı kabul edilerek mükellefler üzerindeki dolaylı vergi yükünün hafifletilmesi ve dolaysız vergilerin ağırlık kazanması gerektiği savunulmaktadır.

Tax Optimality in Turkey: An Analysis for Total Tax Revenues

Within the scope of optimal tax theory, the optimality problem of fiscal policies in the Turkish tax system for the period 1980-2019 will be discussed from the perspective of the Laffer curve. The study, it is aimed to obtain the real Laffer curve showing the relationship between total tax revenues and tax rate for Turkey. Macroeconomic variables such as tax rates, tax revenues, crisis periods, unemployment rates, and real wages are included in the analysis with the help of an econometric package program. Within the scope of time series, the effect of the tax rate on tax revenues was investigated using Johansen and ARDL cointegration approaches. According to the findings obtained from the analyses, the total tax rates in Turkey are on the right of the Laffer curve, in other words, the Laffer curve exceeds the optimal point. Based on the hypothetical existence of Laffer theorem’s in Turkey, the optimal tax rates were calculated for the total tax revenues, and the current tax rates of each year were compared with the optimal tax rates. It has been determined that the total tax rates in the specified period are in the forbidden region of the Laffer curve. This situation, which states that the tax burden has increased, reveals that the taxation process should be revised. There is no comprehensive empirical analysis of Turkey. The findings will guide the applications that will contribute to the field. The originality of the work; is based on the inclusion of time series analysis of macroeconomic data such as crisis periods, unemployment rates, real wages as independent variables in determining the relationship between tax revenues and tax rates. The validity of the Laffer curve for each tax (Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT) in the Turkish tax system can be examined with the data and methods used in the research.

The Effect of Personal Personality Termination in Terms of Real Persons on the Turkish Tax System

Tüm hukuk dallarının temel süjesini teşkil eden kişi kavramı, hukuk dünyasında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Çünkü kişi, hukuk kuralları vasıtasıyla düzenlenen hak ve yükümlülüklerin sahibi ve konusunu teşkil etmektedir. İnsan doğum ile birlikte kişi olarak kabul edilmekte ve bu yönüne bağlı olarak da hak ehliyetine sahip olmaktadır. Kişiye bağlı olan hakların hayatın olağan akışı içerisinde çeşitli hallerde sona ermesi söz konusu olabilmektedir. Kişi hakları kanun koyucu aracılığıyla ayrıntılı bir şekilde yasalarda hüküm altına alınmıştır zira kişiliğin son bulması sonrası yasal kapsamda yeni bir dönem başlamaktadır. Kişi ve kişiliğe bağlı haklar, bunların başlangıcı ve sona ermesi Türk Medeni Kanunu bağlamında ifade edilmektedir. Bu minvalde kişiliğin yasalarda belirtilen şekil ve/veya durumlarda son bulması ile muris olarak belirlenen kişi, hukuk düzeninde yeni hukuksal işlemler tesis edememektedir. Ancak kişiliğin sona ermesine müteakip bazı yasal işlemlerin ikmal edilmesi gerekebilmektedir. Ölüme bağlı bu durum, medeni kanun çerçevesinde miras hukuku vasıtasıyla tekemmül etmektedir. Bu kapsamdaki hukuksal işlemlerin bir yönünü de ölüm (kişiliğin sona ermesi) halinin Türk Vergi Sistemine olan etkileri oluşturmaktadır. Yani ölüm halinde murise ait vergisel işlemlerin, reddi mirasta bulunmamış mirasçılar tarafından ölüm sonrası oluşacak yeni mükellefiyete yönelik işlemlerin gerçekleştirilmesi gerekecektir. Bu minvalde çalışmada, gerçek kişiler çerçevesinde kişiliğin sona ermesinin Türk Vergi Sistemi kapsamında yer alan kanunlar nezdinde ortaya çıkardığı etkiler değerlendirilecektir.

The Element of Power in the Taxation Period in Turkish Tax Law and the Administrative Discretion

Vergiler, bir devletin kamu harcamalarını finanse etmek için kullanılan en önemli gelir kaynaklarından biridir. Anayasa’nın 73/3. maddesine göre “Vergi, resim, harç ve benzeri malî yükümlülükler kanunla konulur, değiştirilir veya kaldırılır”. Ayrıca, verginin asli unsurlarının da (verginin konusu, mükellefi, vergiyi doğuran olay, matrah, vergi tarifesi ve oranı, muafiyet, istisna, ödeme zamanı) özel vergi kanunlarında açıkça yer alması gerekmektedir. Kanun çıkarma yetkisi yasama organında olup, bu yetki devredilemez. İdari işlemler ise, Anayasa ve kanunlara uygun olarak idare tarafından tesis edilir. Çünkü Anayasa hükmüne göre; idare, kuruluş ve görevleriyle bir bütündür ve kanunla düzenlenir. İdare ve vergi hukukunda idari işlem ve eylemler açısından ‘bağlı yetki’ ve ‘takdir yetkisi’ kavramları karşımıza çıkmaktadır. İdarenin takdir yetkisi, Anayasa’da belirtilen vergilemede kanunilik ilkesi nedeniyle vergi hukukunda istisnai bir alanı oluşturmaktadır. Takdir yetkisinin varlığında, idare bir tercih ve seçim yapma imkânına sahiptir. Ancak, hukuk devleti ve kanuni idare ilkelerinin bir gereği olarak, takdir yetkisinin hukuk kurallarına bağlı olarak ve hukuki sınırlar içerisinde kullanılması önem arz etmektedir. Burada, hukuk kuralları idarenin takdir yetkisinin sınırlarını belirler. Bu bakımdan idarenin takdir yetkisi kesinlikle keyfi kararlar veya keyfilik anlamına gelmez ve yasal sınırlarla belirlenir. Bu çalışmada idarenin takdir yetkisi, çeşitli vergi hukuku uygulamaları ve vergilendirme sürecinde ortaya çıkan idari işlemler açısından değerlendirilmiştir.

Başbaki Kulluğu'ndan Vergi Denetim Kurulu Başkanlığı'na Vergi Denetim Müesseseleri, Günümüz Sorunları ve Çözüm Önerileri

Vergi matrahlarının tespit edilmesi sürecinde olağan (beyan usulü) ve olağanüstü (ikmalen, re’sen ve idarece tarhiyat usulü) şeklinde iki usul yer almaktadır. Türk vergi sisteminin temeli de modern vergi sistemlerindeki gibi beyan esasına dayanmaktadır. Beyan esası sistemine dayalı vergi sistemlerinde vergi denetimi modern vergi düzeninin sağlanabilmesi bakımından oldukça önem arz etmektedir. Kişiler pek çok sebep dolayısıyla vergiye tabi matrahlarını en aza indirme gayreti göstererek, kanunen kabul edilen sınırların dışına çıkabilmektedirler. Vergi mükelleflerin kanun dışı yollara başvurması, vergi kayıp ve kaçaklarının miktarının artmasına neden olarak devletin tahsil etmesi gereken kamu gelirlerinin azalmasına neden olmaktadır. Devlet, vergi denetim araçları olan yoklama, vergi incelemesi, arama ve bilgi toplama sayesinde, söz konusu kanunların çizdiği çerçevenin dışına çıkmış olan mükellef davranışlarını tespit ederek, gerekli cezai yaptırımlar uygulanmasını sağlar. Bu çalışmada, vergi denetiminin tarihçesinin yanı sıra 2011 yılında 646 sayılı kanun ile vergi denetim kurumlarını tek çatı altında toplamış olan Vergi Denetim Kurulu Başkanlığı incelenmiştir. Gerçekleştirilen araştırmalar neticesinde vergi denetiminde karşılaşılan sorunlar tespit edilerek yetersiz kaldığı noktalar tespit edilerek çözüm önerileri getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Tax incentives for export activity in the Republic of Turkey

The subject of this research is the norms of tax legislation of the Republic of Turkey aimed at incentivizing export activity, case law on their implementation, as well as doctrinal sources that affect the development of legal regulation of tax incentives in the country. The methodological framework is comprised in the formal legal method, which allow assessing the actual effect of the norms of the Turkish tax legislation. The method of content analysis was used for the analysis of the corresponding norms to determine the characteristic trends in the development of legal regulation of taxes, as well as for outlining various export support measures in the Republic of Turkey. Within the tax system of the Republic of Turkey, the author establishes the presence of the effective mechanisms for stimulating export activity. Such mechanisms are associated with the possibility of purchasing necessary products by the exporter without paying VAT, as well as a simplified procedure for its refund without conducting tax audit in rendering preferential guarantees or a positive decision of a certified auditor, which also reflects partial delegation of authority in the sphere tax control to special entities outside the structure of the government bodies. Turkish legislation also features the system of quick VAT refund within 5 days to a certified individual. Acquisition of such certificate suggest observing the criteria of good faith, which has a positive impact upon the so-called tax compliance. Tax incentives for export activity in the context of direct taxes in the Republic of Turkey consists in the practical application of the territorial concept of taxation to the income of Turkish companies carrying out certain types of activity abroad, which positively affects the export of labor, services and related commodities. Therefore, the obtained results can be valuable in the development of Russian tax legislation in the area of tax incentives for export activity.
