An Analysis of Factors of Student’s Difficulties in Listening Comprehension

Listening comprehension in the learning process greatly helps increase students’ performance in mastering English listening skills students and to understand the topic or lesson being studied. The purpose of this research to find out students’ difficulties in listening comprehension. Based on what the researcher observed when doing preliminary with some students, it seems they have difficulties when doing an exercise in listening comprehension. In this research mixed method were used. The researcher took 34 participants of the students and for the interview sections, the researcher took 6 students from 34 students in the class of XI IPA 1 at the year eleventh of SMA Tunas Bangsa. The data were gathered by using questionnaire and interview adapted by Hamouda (2013) in the classroom. Based on the research findings, the researcher found out that the most of students at the year eleventh of Senior High School Tunas Bangsa have various difficulties in listening comprehension such as (1) unfamiliar words in listening material, (2) unfamiliar topics of linguistics, (3) unable to concentrate, (4) students’ anxiety, (5) the audiences’ factors, (6) the audio factors, and (7) physical environmental.

Aggressive Behavior Of Early Children In The Kindergarten Of Bina Tunas Bangsa Batang Hari Regency Jambi Province

This study discusses the phenomenon of aggressive behavior in children in educational institutions, especially in PAUD, with a focus on group B at Bina Tunas Bangsa Kindergarten. The purpose of this study is to help teachers understand and handle aggressive behavior in children effectively, so as to prevent further impacts that have the potential to become criminal acts. The study found that aggressive behavior is often triggered by teasing in class or while playing, which causes two types of aggression: physical (such as hitting and kicking) and verbal (insults or using bad words). This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Some of the proposed handling strategies include understanding the child's personality, creating an active and enjoyable learning environment (PAKEM), channeling aggression through positive activities, avoiding rewards for aggressive behavior, and using non-physical positive punishment. Strategies for handling children with aggressive behavior at Bina Tunas Bangsa Kindergarten include understanding and accepting the child's personality, creating PAKEM (Active, Creative, Effective and Enjoyable Learning), achieving cataracts (channeling aggressive behavior into positive activities), eliminating rewards, Demonstration/training strategies, creating a non-aggressive environment and positive punishment (not physical punishment).

The Role of Transformational Leaders in Improving the Quality of Early Childhood Education

This research examines the application of transformational leadership principles by the Satria Tunas Bangsa PAUD principal and its impact on learning. The research focus includes the implementation of transformational leadership, leadership learning strategies, supporting factors, and the impact of this leadership. The research results show that school principals play an important role in creating a positive learning environment by displaying leadership charisma, providing inspirational motivation to teachers, and paying attention to individual needs. In the learning leadership strategy, the principal develops a clear vision, creates a conducive learning environment, and supervises and provides professional support. Supporting factors include a positive organizational culture, a conducive climate, stakeholder support, and the principal's leadership competence. The impact of transformational leadership can be seen in improving the quality of learning, teacher motivation and performance, developing student character, as well as increasing innovation and creativity in learning. This research concludes that transformational leadership in PAUD Satria Tunas Bangsa makes a significant contribution to improving the quality of education and student achievement.

PENGABDIAN KEPADA MASYARAKAT: JURI KARYA ILMIAH BERTEMA PEMANASAN GLOBAL

<em>Global warming is one of the most pressing environmental issues of the 21st century, with far-reaching impacts ranging from extreme climate change to threats to biodiversity and human life. The increase in the average temperature of the atmosphere and oceans, driven by human activities, particularly greenhouse gas emissions such as carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide, exacerbates this situation. Negative effects such as polar ice melting, rising sea levels, and ecosystem disruptions threaten the survival of many species. Growing global awareness of the importance of understanding and addressing global warming has led to various initiatives, including scientific competitions focused on global warming. These activities aim to educate the public and promote innovation in finding sustainable solutions to this environmental problem. In these competitions, the role of judges is crucial in evaluating the quality and relevance of the scientific works submitted by participants. Through community engagement carried out by the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia in collaboration with SMA Kristen Tunas Bangsa Sunter Jakarta Utara, this competition successfully inspired and nurtured young generations in facing the challenges of global warming. The event included presentations, discussions, and Q&A sessions aimed at developing creative ideas and making a real contribution to global efforts in combating global warming.</em>

Pengembangan dan Peningkatan Keterampilan Guru PAUD melalui Pelatihan Microsoft Word: Studi Kasus di PAUD Tunas Bangsa 05

The Microsoft Office training, specifically focusing on Microsoft Word, for the teaching staff of PAUD Tunas Bangsa 05 aimed to enhance technological skills to support educational quality. Conducted by a team of lecturers from Universitas Nusa Mandiri on May 18, 2024, the training was met with high enthusiasm from the participants. The methods employed included material presentation, hands-on practice, and Q&A sessions. Evaluation results indicated a significant improvement in participants' understanding and skills in using Microsoft Word. They were able to utilize the application to create more organized and professional documents, positively impacting the teaching-learning process. The activity successfully achieved its objectives and received positive feedback, also indicating the need for further training. Consequently, this training contributes to the professional development of the teaching staff and the enhancement of educational quality at PAUD Tunas Bangsa 05

Pendampingan Kegiatan Himaprodi Ekonomi Syariah Berbagi Kasih kepada Anak Yatim Panti Asuhan Tunas Bangsa di Denpasar

Carrying out accompaniment by sharing during the month of Ramadan is an activity conducted by the Sharia Economics Student Association of STAI Denpasar Bali as a form of compassion and a Muslim obligation to share blessings with the needy, as well as to serve the community by addressing one of the needs of orphans at the Tunas Bangsa Washliyah orphanage. The orphans at the orphanage require assistance and loving care as a form of attention and motivation in their daily lives. Therefore, STAI Denpasar students implement accompaniment through a strategy of observation, organization, and activities, followed by an evaluation to understand the response of the orphans and stakeholders who participated in meeting their needs. As a result of the accompaniment, the orphans feel motivated by the attention from the surrounding community, fostering a sense of togetherness, a spirit of sharing, and promoting STAI Denpasar Bali's concern for others.

Analisis Prestasi Belajar Dan Motivasi Belajar Siswa SMK Dalam Melanjutkan Pendidikan Ke Perguruan Tinggi

This research aims to determine the interest and motivation of vocational school students in continuing their education to higher education. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The research population was students from Tunas Bangsa Vocational School, while the research sampel was students in class XII, totaling 142 people and 59 people as the sample. The research methode used is quantitative, where the author analyzes the relationship between variables using SPSS version 25 software. The results of the analysis of the classical assumption test with the normality test proved that the data was not normally distributed. The results of the analysis of the relationship between variables prove that learning achievement has an influence on interest in continuing higher education, as well as learning motivation has a positive and significant impact on interest in continuing higher education. Simultaneous test results of learning achievement and learning motivation have a positive and significant effect on ineterst in continuing higher education, the contribution of learning achievement and learning motivation to interest in continuing higher aducation is 67,8% and the remainder is influenced by other variables not researched by the author.

Development of a Class XI Citizenship Education Learning Model Based on Blended Learning Flipped Classroom at Tunas Bangsa Vocational School, Depok

The aim of this research is to develop and test the feasibility and effectiveness of developing a Class XI Civics Education Learning Model Based on Blended Learning-Flipped Classroom at Tunas Bangsa Vocational School, Depok. This research uses the development of the Borg and Gall model which is integrated with the Rowntree model with 9 steps from the Bord and Gall model, and 3 steps from the Rowntree model. The results of the feasibility test carried out by material experts were 81%, processional design experts 94%, and media experts 88%, teacher users 87% and student users 83%. Overall, the results were in the "very feasible" category. These results indicate that the use of electronic modules is suitable for improving the learning outcomes of students in class XI citizenship education subjects at Tunas Bangsa Vocational School, Depok. The results of the effectiveness test were shown by comparing the post test results of the experimental class and the post test results of the control class with a total of 10 students as respondents. Statistical analysis uses an independent sample t test with a value of tcount > ttable or 5.080 > 2.101 at a significance level of 5% and df = 18, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of electronic modules as a learning medium for class XI citizenship education based on blended learning flipped classrooms is effectively used to improve student learning outcomes.

Implementation of Character Education Based on Total Quality Management: Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students in Kindergarten

This research is applied research that aims to develop and implement a character education action plan based on Total Quality Management (TQM) in the Pancasila student profile in Independent Curriculum in Kindergarten. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, data was collected through Focus Group Discussion (FGD), interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the research show that TQM-based character education in Tunas Bangsa Kindergarten through the implementation of action plans in Pancasila student profile in the independent curriculum, implemented in learning projects and children's habits, has achieved guaranteed quality of learning. The results of the implementation show that children have achieved guaranteed quality graduates through learning project activities and familiarization with the supporting capacity of skilled teacher human resources, adequate facilities, and infrastructure as well as religious and moral development for adult children. Learning projects and habits are implemented for children to achieve the guaranteed quality of graduates, carrying out daily prayers, carrying out religious ritual practices, praying before and after studying, praying for parents and family, putting on and taking off your shoes, wearing uniform according to schedule, and complete tasks according to the deadline. For further research, it is necessary to carry out research that examines various implementations of character education based on culture or other learning models that attract children's interest and are more comprehensive. Hubungan Pengetahuan Dan Sikap Remaja Dalam Mengkonsumsi Tablet Zat Besi Di Sma Swasta Tunas Bangsa Kwala Begumit Kecamatan Binjai Kabupaten Langkakat Tahun 2022

Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood which requires higher levels of nutrients, including iron. Teenage girls are more susceptible to anemia because they are already menstruating (Sediaoetama, 2018). Lack of iron in adolescents without adequate iron intake will continue during pregnancy, causing suboptimal fetal growth, low birth weight, risk of bleeding during delivery and increasing the risk of maternal and infant mortality. That's why most Obstetricians and Nutrition experts recommend iron supplements from pre-conception (adolescence). The aim is to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of teenagers in consuming iron tablets at Tunas Bangsa Kwala Begumit Private High School, Binjai District, Langkat Regency in 2022. This type of research is analytical research with a cross sectional design, namely the researcher takes samples from a population using a questionnaire as a data collection tool to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of teenagers in consuming iron tablets at Tunas Bangsa Kwala Begumit Private High School, Binjai District, Langkat Regency. 2022 (Hermanto, 2015). Conclusion: From a total of 39 young female respondents, the results showed that the majority of respondents had poor knowledge, 18 respondents (46.2%) and the minority of respondents with good knowledge, 10 people with (25.6%). Of the 39 respondents, the majority of respondents did not consume iron tablets, 29 people (74.4%). From the statistical test results, it was found that p value = 0.000 (p <0.05). This means that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes of teenagers in consuming iron tablets.

PELATIHAN “HOW TO WRITE A WINNING SCHOLARSHIP ESSAY” DI SMAK TUNAS BANGSA LIPPO CIKARANG

The ability to write essays and speak English is the main qualification in the competition for scholarships and further study opportunities in the era of globalization. SMAK Tunas Bangsa Lippo Cikarang realizes the importance of this, especially for class XII students. In Indonesia, the increasing number of scholarship offers from the government and non-government organizations adds to the complexity of competition. However, not all applicants are successful due to inadequate essay writing and English skills. The "How to Write a Winning Scholarship Essay" course was designed as a response to this challenge. This training aims to provide effective essay writing skills and a wider English vocabulary. With a focus on writing structure and a persuasive point of view, this training prepares students to face academic challenges and competitive scholarships. The positive response from students and teachers shows the relevance of this training to the curriculum and the needs of students who will continue higher education and seek scholarships. Thus, investing in developing essay writing skills is a strategic step for SMAK Tunas Bangsa Lippo Cikarang students towards a successful and influential future.

The Effect of Jump Rope Training Program on the Agility in Deaf Children SLB-B Yayasan Pendidikan Tunas Bangsa (YPTB) Malang City

Deaf children are those who have lost or suffered from hearing impairment since birth or before the age when their language development is fully formed. One aspect of physical fitness is agility. Through appropriate agility exercises, deaf children can enhance their ability to feel more confident in engaging in physical activities. Jump rope exercises involve coordinated body movements that can help deaf children develop agility, muscle strength, and motor coordination. A pre-experimental approach is used in this quantitative research, and the research design employed is a one-group pretest-posttest. The sample studied consisted of 30 deaf children in grades 3-6 in elementary school. The research indicates that jump rope exercises have a positive impact, leading to an increase in agility in deaf students at SLB-B Yayasan Pendidikan Tunas Bangsa , Malang City. The paired sample t-test results show a significance value of 0.001. The conclusion is that jump rope training has an impact on the agility of deaf students at SLB-B YPTB Malang City, as evidenced by the increase in scores in the post-test.

Klasifikasi Peminatan Topik Keilmuan Dalam Penyelesaian Studi Menggunakan Algoritma Naive Bayes

Academic expertise is a subject of study taught at the university level to assist students in completing their thesis writing, thereby enabling them to successfully complete their graduate studies. The chosen academic specialization aligns with the vision and mission of each program and can have a positive impact on the university. Students' chosen fields of expertise in completing their studies may either align or not align with the program's vision and mission. The variables used in this research are GPA, MKRV1, MKRV2, and Academic Expertise. The aim of this research is to determine how many students select an academic topic that aligns with the program's vision and mission, particularly in this case, the Computer Science program, as they complete their studies. The Naïve Bayes algorithm is employed in this research, yielding an accuracy rate of 98.11%. This research can provide valuable insights for STIKOM Tunas Bangsa Pematang Siantar to understand the extent to which students from other programs choose academic expertise that aligns with the vision and mission of each program.

Implementasi Algoritma C4.5 Untuk Mengukur Tingkat Kepuasan Mahasiswa yang Berlangganan Wifi Indihome

The urgency of research on satisfaction levels is closely related to the success and desires of a business or organization. Without a good understanding of customer satisfaction, a company or organization may lose market share, face declining sales, or even face failure. Therefore, this research must be carried out regularly and continuously. The purpose of this research is to determine the level of customer satisfaction and to determine the dominant service quality that influences the quality of service provided by PT Telkom Indihome to customers. In this research, researchers used the C4.5 Algorithm data mining technique. The research data source used was by making observations and distributing questionnaires to customers of PT Telkom Pematangsiantar City. In this case, researchers used assessment attributes, namely service quality, accessibility and product quality. This research is expected to provide information and input to PT Telkom Indihome in the form of evaluations in improving network quality. The results of the research conducted by the author obtained the following conclusion, namely that Data Mining with the C4.5 Algorithm can classify the measurement of satisfaction levels of STIKOM Tunas Bangsa students who subscribe to Indihome WiFi. The accuracy results obtained by this research were 75.00% with the average student who subscribed to Indihome WiFi stating that they were satisfied.

Analisis Pola Minat Siswa Lulusan SMU/SMK Untuk Melanjutkan Kuliah dengan Menggunakan Algoritma C4.5

STIKOM Tunas Bangsa is one of the best private universities in the city of Pematangsiantar. With so many universities in the city of Pematangsiantar, it certainly creates competition in attracting prospective new students. In order to maintain the number of students each year, universities must know what factors are the main drivers for prospective students to continue their studies at STIKOM Tunas Bangsa. The aim of this research is to determine the main factors for high school/vocational school graduate students in continuing their studies at STIKOM Tunas Bangsa. Data was obtained from questionnaires which were then processed using data mining with the C4.5 algorithm and tested with Rapid Miner software. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there are six (6) patterns produced in cases of interest in prospective students who will study at STIKOM Tunas Bangsa, where three (3) of these rules result in interest decisions and three (3) rules result in no interest decisions. One of the resulting rules is if Recommendation = Never, and Suitability of Department = Appropriate, then the result is Interest. Recommendations from local people are the main supporting factor for high school/vocational school graduate students to continue studying at STIKOM Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar.

Analisis Kombinasi Algoritma K-Means Clustering dan TOPSIS Untuk Menentukan Pendekatan Strategi Marketing Berdasarkan Background Target Audiens

The promotion is an annual agenda for STIMIK Tunas Bangsa Banjarnegara. The aim of this promotional activity is to attract more new students every year. On the other hand, campus promotion encounters obstacles in mapping applicant data from previous years so that considerations for new promotion policies are based on data from the school of origin of alumni or students. By using the K-Means Clustering algorithm, applicant data can be grouped according to the background represented through the school origin attribute. , parents' occupation and place of origin. Then the data is processed using DSS with the TOPSIS method to obtain priority references for marketing types for each cluster. The results of calculating the silhouette coefficient value for the five clusters obtained a score of 0.426. Meanwhile, in the ranking process using the TOPSIS method, the first rank was found in cluster 0 with a score of 0.994110. Further stages use the Decision Tree method to obtain output in the form of recommendations for promotion types for each cluster. For example, cluster 0 is recommended to use promotion types with codes P1, P2, P3, P8 and P9.

This research was carried out at STIKOM Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar. This study's population was 1st-semester students majoring in informatics engineering, totaling 34 students. The data was obtained using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique calculates a questionnaire's results about how enthusiastic the students are about learning English with the Plotagon animation. After the data was collected, it was analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. This research shows that more than 85% of students are interested in learning plotagon animation. Students are also more curious about learning Plotagon animation.

Developing Phonics Teaching Media and Materials-Based Flip Book

This research aimed to develop an electronic book for teaching phonics. This was a Research and Development (R&D) study with four stages. The subjects of the study were K2 students and K2 teachers of Tunas Bangsa school. The research procedures were adapted from Jolly and Bolitho’s model consisting of identification of need for materials, production of materials, student use of materials, evaluation of materials against agreed objectives. This research data was collected through interview, observation and material aspects validation sheet which are analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The materials writing and implementation findings revealed that the materials were considered appropriate and relevant with the students’ and teachers’ needs as they provided specific phonics materials and meaningful activities for K2 students. It was supported by the results from the aspects of the developed materials, which were 3.93, which was in the range of 3.25 < x ≤ 4 and can be categorized as “very good”.

MENINGKATKAN MINAT BERWIRAUSAHA MELALUI E-COMMERCE, EKSPEKTASI PENDAPATAN DAN MODAL USAHA PADA MAHASISWA PERGURUAN TINGGI DI BANJARNEGARA

ABSTRACT The imbalance between the number of jobs and the growth of the productive age population which bring out unemployment, and bachelor graduates contribute 14 percent of it. The research were held in STIE Tamansiswa Banjarnegara and STIMIK Tunas Bangsa Banjarnegara. This study aims to determine the effect of e-commerce, income expectations and business fund toward entrepreneurship interest among collage students in Banjarnegara. This research uses quantitavive methods. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire and given to a sample of 90 students. The sampling technique in this study used a stratified random sampling method. Data analysis using multiple linear regression. Data analysis techniques in research using validity and reliability test with Cronbach’s Alpha. The classic assumption test includes the normality test, heteroscedasticity test and multicollinearity test. The results of the study show that partiall and simultaneously e-commerce, income expectations and business fund have an effect on entrepreneurial interest. This is evidenced by the calculation results of the SPSS application program, which obtained an Adjusted R Square value of 57.5% while the remaining 42.5% is influenced by other variables. The researcher's suggestion is that students need to increase their interest in entrepreneurship through e-commerce, income expectations and business fund to reduce the unemployment rate of undergraduate graduates.
