Analysis of Relationship between Religion and Vietnamese Culture Today and Prediction of Some Religious Security Trends in the Coming Time

Religion is a part of the spiritual life of society, a superstructure phenomenon moving and changing strongly at all times along with the socio-economic development of any country. In recent times, the religion in Vietnam has had a great influence on traditional customs and practices in both directions: positive and negative. On the one hand, it contributes to restoring many good traditional customs and practices of the nation, contributing to changing the lifestyle and behavior of a part of the people; On the other hand, the religion revives many outdated depraved customs and practices, deforming and fading some traditional customs and practices. These impacts have been posing many problems to be resolved for Vietnam in the process of building and developing the country in the new era. Vietnam has been being in the process of increasingly deepening international integration, which is expected to continue to cause many difficulties and obstacles for State management of religion, because religious activities are often associated with cultural activities. Cultural diversity leads to religious diversity.

A Long-Term Power Supply Risk Evaluation Method for China Regional Power System Based on Probabilistic Production Simulation

To qualify the risk of extreme weather events for power supply security during the long-term power system transformation process, this paper proposes a risk probability evaluation method based on probabilistic production simulation. Firstly, the internal relationship of extreme weather intensity and duration is depicted using the copula function, and the influences of extreme weather on power security are described using the guaranteed power output ability coefficient, which can provide the extreme scenario basis for probabilistic production simulation. Then, a probabilistic production simulation method is proposed, which includes a typical-year scenario and extreme weather events. Meanwhile, an index system is proposed to qualify the power security level, which applies the loss of load expectation (LOLE) and time of loss of load expectation (TOLE) under different scenarios and other indices to reveal the long-term power security trend. Finally, the long-term power supply risks for the Yunnan provincial power system are analyzed using the proposed method, validating that the proposed method is capable of characterizing the influences of extreme weather on power security. The security level of different long-term power transformation schemes is evaluated.

Industrial technology network security measurement in international trade under discrete hopfield neural network

As global economic integration continues to advance, international trade has become increasingly vital for the economic development and growth of nations. This research aims to assess the trends in industrial technology security within China’s international trade and provide practical guidance for policy-making, corporate strategies, and international cooperation. The significance of the rising trend in security within China’s international trade industry lies in its establishment of a robust foundation for the long-term development of China’s international trade, contributing to its cooperation and competitiveness with other countries. In addressing the limitations of traditional measurement methods and providing a more comprehensive and accurate assessment of industrial technology security, this research presents an approach based on a discrete Hopfield Neural Network (HNN) for evaluating industrial technology security in international trade. This method integrates multiple indicators, including technology gap rates, to construct the Superior Quality Engineering (SQE) comprehensive evaluation model. The research employs a combination model of “entropy-grey relational-Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS)-discrete HNN” to assess industrial technology security. This research evaluates international trade industry technology security using patent data from 2015 to 2022 as samples. The results indicate an overall upward trend in security in China’s international trade industry. Within this trend, the research observes a stepwise increase in scale components, leading to continuous improvement in security. In terms of quality components, although security develops relatively slowly overall, it exhibits a trend of initial gradual decline followed by rapid growth. Regarding efficiency components, there is overall slow growth with periodic fluctuations. This research outcome provides substantial support for the research of industrial technology in international trade. The proposed method can assist businesses in evaluating their technological security in international trade and offer robust support for international trade decision-making.

Smart Home Security Design Based on STM32 Microcontroller

This paper addresses the needs in the field of smart home security, based on STM32 microcontroller for smart home security design. Firstly, the background and research significance of smart home security are introduced, and the current situation and development trend of smart home security are briefly summarized. Then, the basic concepts and classifications of microcontrollers are introduced, and the applications and roles of microcontrollers in smart home security are elaborated. Next, the STM32 microcontroller was selected, the system hardware circuit and software program were designed, and the system was implemented and tested. Finally, the research work of this paper is summarized, problems and shortcomings are pointed out, and future research directions and prospects are discussed. Through the research and realization of this paper, the security level of smart home can be effectively improved, and make some contributions to the development of smart home.

Research on a Critical Link Discovery Method for Network Security Situational Awareness.

Network security situational awareness (NSSA) aims to capture, understand, and display security elements in large-scale network environments in order to predict security trends in the relevant network environment. With the internet's increasingly large scale, increasingly complex structure, and gradual diversification of components, the traditional single-layer network topology model can no longer meet the needs of network security analysis. Therefore, we conduct research based on a multi-layer network model for network security situational awareness, which is characterized by the three-layer network structure of a physical device network, a business application network, and a user role network. Its network characteristics require new assessment methods, so we propose a multi-layer network link importance assessment metric: the multi-layer-dependent link entropy (MDLE). On the one hand, the MDLE comprehensively evaluates the connectivity importance of links by fitting the link-local betweenness centrality and mapping entropy. On the other hand, it relies on the link-dependent mechanism to better aggregate the link importance contributions in each network layer. The experimental results show that the MDLE has better ordering monotonicity during critical link discovery and a higher destruction efficacy in destruction simulations compared to classical link importance metrics, thus better adapting to the critical link discovery requirements of a multi-layer network topology.

Using Deep Learning Technology to Optimize VPN Networks Based on Security Performance

In recent years, network developments and user growth have increased network security problems and techniques. The trend in network security is towards web-based networks, given Internet users' diverse origins, unpredictable persons are more likely to participate in malevolent activities. Security and privacy safeguards are implemented using many technologies. This paper proposes using a virtual private network (VPN) to secure particular communications across vast networks. VPNs restrict unauthorised connections, benefiting secured hosts. Through a VPN network, connections can be kept hidden and external connections prohibited. The influence of a virtual private network (VPN) on a standard network's performance is studied by producing and assessing CBR, HTTP, and FTP payloads. The evaluation used throughput and time delay as performance measures after analysis of the finding, deep learning (DL) can predict attacks. Because that learns attack patterns during training to effectively forecast attacks. To detect attacks, deep learning-based attack prevention model was created This method uses Nave Bayes and FFNN to enhace network performance. The results show that VPNs affect packet latency and performance differently depending on the data type. The FFNN algorithm detects intrusions with 98% accuracy.

Construction of China's food security evaluation index system and spatiotemporal evolution.

Food security is a vital material foundation for a nation's development and has been a topic of significant concern on the international stage in recent years. With a population exceeding 1.4 billion, China is not only a major producer but also a substantial consumer of food. Ensuring food security in China is not only a top priority for its socio-economic development but also a driving force in maintaining the stability of the global food supply chain and reducing the number of hungry people worldwide. However, a lack of comprehensive research into the Chinese food security system remains. This study addresses this gap by constructing a comprehensive evaluation framework encompassing four dimensions: food supply, accessibility, production stability, and sustainability. Utilizing the Moran's Index and generating LISA (Local Indicators of Spatial Association) maps, we analyze the spatial correlations of food security. The Dagum Gini coefficient and kernel density estimation are applied to assess heterogeneity and spatial disparities. Furthermore, this research employs the Exponential Smoothing (ETS) model to forecast food security trends. The findings reveal that the overall composite food security score exhibited fluctuations, initially increasing and reaching its peak of 0.407 in 2003, followed by a subsequent sharp decline after 2019. Spatially, food security exhibits correlations, with the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain and Northeast regions consistently showing high-high clustering. In contrast, the Western and Southern regions exhibit low-low clustering at specific periods. The Dagum Gini coefficient indicates that overall food security disparities are relatively small. However, these disparities have gradually expanded in recent years, with inter-group differences becoming predominant after 2005. As indicated by the kernel density estimation, the dynamic distribution of food security initially widens and then narrows, suggesting a shift from dispersed to concentrated data distribution. This phenomenon is accompanied by polarization and convergence trends, particularly evident after 2015. According to the ETS model, the study forecasts a substantial risk of declining food security in China over the next decade, largely influenced by the ongoing pandemic. In conclusion, this research provides a comprehensive assessment of the changing status of food security in China. It offers early warnings through predictive analysis, addressing the existing research gaps in the field of food security.

Basic Security Mechanisms in Linux

The article provides an overview of the key security aspects of the Linux operating system. The relevance of this work lies in the fact that in light of the rapid development of technology and increased threats in the field of information security, special attention is paid to mechanisms that ensure stable protection of data and system resources. The article begins by reviewing basic security principles such as the principle of least privilege and need-based access. Next, we look at modern authentication and authorization mechanisms, including the role of Pluggable Authentication Modules (PAM) and Security-Enhanced Linux (SELinux) multi-user rules. Particular attention is paid to access control systems, including mechanisms for managing access rights to files through the Discretionary Access Control (DAC) and Mandatory Access Control (MAC). The iptables and firewalld firewalls are analyzed as key tools for ensuring the security of network interactions. The article also covers current Linux security trends and challenges, as well as an overview of the latest kernel and software updates. Ultimately, the reader will gain a comprehensive understanding of Linux security mechanisms, allowing him to make informed decisions to effectively protect his systems and data.

Food Security Trends in 2024 and Beyond

In 2024 food security is likely to remain one of the critical challenges for the world to face. The World Bank has therefore included food and nutrition security among the eight global challenges to address at scale, and has mobilized $45 billion in resources to tackle issues and protect livelihoods worldwide, surpassing its initial projected commitment of $30 billion announced in May 2022. Anticipating and understanding the evolution of food security and its reactions to future trends is essential for effective policymaking and developing responsive plans. The World Bank's World Food Security Outlook (WFSO), updated three times a year and last in October 2023, serves as one of the comprehensive resources developed to support this endeavor. Cybersecurity Strategy in Financial Application Systems in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0

In the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, the development of information technology has had a significant impact on financial application systems. Along with these advances, cybersecurity risks are also increasing. This journal aims to investigate and analyze effective cyber security strategies in financial application systems in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. This research methodology uses a quasi-qualitative research method. Through in-depth interviews, observations, and engaging in-depth literature surveys to understand current trends in cyber security, their application to the financial sector, cybersecurity challenges in financial application systems, and cyber security strategies. The research results show that robust cybersecurity requires a holistic approach includes protection of sensitive data, proactive threat monitoring and detection and efforts to increase security awareness among users and stakeholders. The implementation of artificial intelligence technology and big data analysis was also found to play an important role in improving the effectiveness of cybersecurity strategies. These findings contribute to further understanding of the cyber security strategies needed to maintain the integrity and sustainability of financial application systems in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. Digitization and cyber security in ensuring the banks security in wartime conditions

One of the main trends in banking in the modern world is the use of digital technologies. The implementation of digital technologies in banking contributes to the development of an inclusive society, the availability and improvement of the quality of financial services, financial literacy and culture, and management efficiency. Digitization has provided new opportunities for increasing banks' competitiveness and increasing the number of customers and institutions' profits. At the same time, it has caused new challenges and threats related to ensuring the confidentiality of information, mistrust and limited access to digital technologies, insufficient level of digital competencies, cyber-attacks, etc. The purpose of the article is to analyze trends in the financial security of Ukrainian banks in the conditions of war and rapid digitization, as well as to analyze possible cyber threats to the banking system of Ukraine. The article determines Ukraine's place in the Digital Competitiveness Rating for 2017–2022. An analysis of the main indicators of digitalization of Ukrainian banks during 2018–2023 was conducted, which showed a high level of digitalization. To assess the impact of digitalization on the financial security of banks, the dynamics of changes in the main indicators of banking institutions of Ukraine during 2018–2023 were studied. Based on this, the level of financial security of banks was determined using indicators and an integral indicator. Thus, during the analyzed period, the level of financial security of banks was assessed as unsatisfactory. It is emphasized that the digitalization of the banking sector poses a serious threat – a large number of cyber attacks and fraud, which has an extremely negative impact on the level of financial security of banks. Measures and methods of ensuring the cyber security of banks by the NBU in the conditions of a large-scale invasion of Ukraine are considered. The article analyzes the main trends in the financial security of Ukrainian banks in the context of digitalization for the period from 2018 to 2022, which showed an increase in the number of cyber attacks on the banking sector. It has been proven that the war on the territory of Ukraine has a negative effect on the functioning of the banking system. However, thanks to the effective regulatory activities of the National Bank of Ukraine, the banking system quickly adapted to negative changes, and despite military actions, terror and cyber attacks, continues its work. Digitization of the banking system remains an important factor in the development and promotion of the state's economy. It opens up new perspectives for improving customer experience, increasing efficiency and implementing innovations.

Improving the country’s food security in the conditions of developing a circular economy

This article discusses the analysis and trends of the country's food security. Even at the current stage of agriculture occupies an important place at the economic and social level. Increasing the production and export potential of agriculture greatly contributes to improving the well-being of the rural population, economic growth, and maintaining the balance of the consumer market. In an econometric model was proposed and forecasts were developed. Expected indicators for 2022-2027 are determined based on the number of food products per capita. Uzbekistan plans to increase the composition and production volume of industrial consumer products for 2021-2030, and this strategy is currently working rapidly. The goal of this strategy is to develop mechanisms that increase food safety, enrich the food segment of the markets in the region, provide the population with cheap food products, and improve a healthy competitive environment along with opening a wider path to foreign trade.

Spatial and temporal trends in food security during the COVID-19 pandemic in Asia Pacific countries: India, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Vietnam.

The economic recession caused by the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic disproportionately affected poor and vulnerable populations globally. Better uunderstanding of vulnerability to shocks in food supply and demand in the Asia Pacific region is needed. Using secondary data from rapid assessment surveys during the pandemic response (n = 10,420 in mid-2020; n = 6,004 in mid-2021) in India, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Vietnam, this study examined the risk factors for reported income reduction or job loss in mid-2021 and the temporal trend in food security status (household food availability, and market availability and affordability of essential items) from mid-2020 to mid-2021. The proportion of job loss/reduced household income was highest in India (60.4%) and lowest in Indonesia (39.0%). Urban residence (odds ratio [OR] range, 2.20-4.11; countries with significant results only), female respondents (OR range, 1.40-1.69), engagement in daily waged labor (OR range, 1.54-1.68), and running a small trade/business (OR range, 1.66-2.71) were significantly associated with income reduction or job loss in three out of 4 countries (all P < 0.05). Food stock availability increased significantly in 2021 compared to 2020 in all four countries (OR range, 1.91-4.45) (all P < 0.05). Availability of all essential items at markets increased in India (OR range, 1.45-3.99) but decreased for basic foods, hygiene items, and medicine in Vietnam (OR range, 0.81-0.86) in 2021 compared to 2020 (all P < 0.05). In 2021, the affordability of all essential items significantly improved in India (OR range, 1.18-3.49) while the affordability of rent, health care, and loans deteriorated in Indonesia (OR range, 0.23-0.71) when compared to 2020 (all P < 0.05). Long-term social protection programs need to be carefully designed and implemented to address food insecurity among vulnerable groups, considering each country's market conditions, consumer food purchasing behaviors, and financial support capacity.

International legal issues and problems of implementation in the field of maritime transport safety: review and constructive theses

The work examines various aspects of international legal regulation of maritime transport safety through the analysis of the international legal mechanism of such, assessment of the challenges and threats emerging in modern times. The problems of the implementation of international legal norms in the field of maritime transport safety in Russian criminal legislation are considered, on the basis of which measures are proposed to improve and bring to compliance with the norms of law. In order to organize effective legal security in maritime transport, it is necessary to summarize the international regulatory framework for countering threats to maritime transport security; identify current trends in maritime transport security; substantiate the author's proposals for improving legal regulation in the field of maritime transport security organization. The solution of these tasks is identified by the author in the system of norms of international legal regulation of safety in maritime transport, as well as in the consideration of the international legal mechanism and the problems of implementing the norms of international maritime law in domestic legislation to ensure safety in maritime transport. The main heuristic means and methods used in research are complex and systemic varieties of scientific analysis and synthesis of data, analogy of information and characteristics, the method of advancing and verifying theoretical and legal hypotheses, generalization of conceptual provisions, functional cognition, historical and formal legal methods. The main scientific results of the work include the fact that the author has revealed the dynamics of the development of the legal mechanism for ensuring safety in maritime transport and verified its periodization, established an international legal mechanism for ensuring safety in maritime transport, and separated threats to safety in maritime transport. The scientific significance of the study is that it has formed a system of scientific international legal knowledge reflecting the contradictions between the needs of practical safety in maritime transport and the possibilities of its legal regulation in modern conditions, as well as possible ways to eliminate it. It is recommended to introduce the main scientific results of the conducted research into the process of teaching legal disciplines of transport and other educational organizations, as well as for further research.

Cyber Security Trends in Education: A Scientometric Study

This paper presents a study on the quantitative analysis of global research trends in cybersecurity in education, focusing on 136 documents published between 2018 and 2022 retrieved from the Web of Science database. Various quantitative indicators were calculated and tabulated, and different graphs were plotted to understand growth patterns, citations with H-Index, country-wise contributions, affiliations, and other aspects. The study found the United States of America has the highest number of publications on cybersecurity in education research. Based on this, the authors suggest that Indian institutions should prioritize cybersecurity in education and strategize for the future with effective collaborations. The best defense strategy in cyberspace is preventive measures supported by continuous research efforts.
