Abstract: The curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in the treatment of chronic urticaria has gradually been recognized by the clinic, but the physical symptoms and psychological symptoms of this disease in the clinic are equal, how to play the effect of traditional Chinese medicine more effectively is worth exploring. Narrative medicine is a medical model that attaches great importance to humanistic care. There is a certain correlation between the concept of “holism of body and spirit (形神一体观)” embodied in TCM treatment of chronic urticaria and the key concepts of "narrative lock", "narrative adjustment" and "narrative intervention" in Chinese narrative medicine system. Based on the Chinese narrative medicine system, this paper connects the concept of narrative medicine with the TCM treatment of chronic urticaria, and discusses the clinical humanistic needs of TCM diagnosis and treatment of chronic urticaria patients from the perspective of narrative medicine.
