Special attention is given to important diagnostic considerations, relation of gonococcal infections to concomitant venereal infections, treatment of sexual partners, follow-up, treatment failures, treatments not recommended, allergic problems in treatment, needs for hospitalization, and prevention of gonococcal ophthalmia.
