Implementasi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Berbasis Karakter: Strategi Pembangunan Karakter Siswa di Madrasah

The purpose of this study is to investigate the management of Islamic education based on the character based on the context of the development of Madrasas students. The main purpose of this study is to identify the management strategy that can be implemented in Madrasus in creating character characters, thanks to Islamian educational approaches. This study uses a method of reviewing the literature and analyzing various relevant reading sources, such as books, magazines, articles, and previous studies related to Islam education and character training management. Research results indicate that natural -based educational management can be implemented using three major pillars. First, integration into the learning process of the character learning program. Second, the role of Maras leaders in the supply of samples and politics management that supports the formation of personality. Third, when creating an environment that supports the development of student characters, it is to strengthen the sluggishness and cooperation between families and communities. Some of the challenges faced are the lack of trained human resources in character education and the lack of synergy between schools, parents and society. In conclusion, character-based management of Islamic madrasah education is very important to create a generation that is not only academically intelligent but also possesses noble character. For this reason, more comprehensive policies and closer cooperation between schools, parents and society are needed to implement personality education

The Role of Digital Training for Human Resources in the Relevance of Research Within the University

This article examines the role of digital human resources training in the mastery of digital research management (DRM) in universities. For they are primarily responsible for structural change and innovation in university research. Notwithstanding this, this paper aims to detect and identify the technical and digital deficiencies that mitigate the level of achievement in research. Method: Our approach is based on an empirical study via a sample of 135 research specialists who will be interviewed and organized as follows: 34 teachers and 34 PhD students from the université Chouaib Doukkali in El Jadida, and 33 teachers and 34 PhD students from the université d' Ain Chock in Casablanca. Nevertheless, we focused on the use of SPSS software. The chi-square test and Cramer's Phi V will form the basis of our analysis, in order to process and interpret the data. At the same time, we will assess the correlation and strength of the relationship between the dependent and independent variables Our study is based on a hypothetico-deductive approach that takes into consideration a mixed reflection based on qualitative and quantitative methods. The results of this study reveal that human resources are not being provided with specific training in MDR research, which is seen as a means of strengthening and modernizing research in higher education. Result: The results attest those human resources are not trained by digital management strategies to carry out research projects, however, cel impacts relevance, excellence and above all innovation in scientific research. Conclusion: In short, the aim of this article is to explore and determine the level of training of human resources for a digital transformation that positively impacts the world of creation, invention and innovation of new professional knowledge, reflexive and professionalizing, specific to scientific research on a national and international scale. Analysis of Challenges and Opportunities for Improving the Health System in Afghanistan: Innovative Approaches and Sustainable Solutions

This research explores the challenges and opportunities for improving the health system in Afghanistan. The healthcare system is critical to any country's social and economic development. Equitable and comprehensive access to health and medical services is vital for public health and plays a critical role in improving quality of life, reducing poverty, and enhancing workforce productivity. Afghanistan, a country that has experienced decades of war, political instability, and economic crises, faces significant challenges in healthcare. The main objective is to identify the significant issues within the healthcare system and propose sustainable solutions to enhance the quality of health services. Using a mixed-method approach (qualitative and quantitative), data were collected through semi-structured interviews with experts and a review of credible scientific sources. The findings indicate that a lack of healthcare infrastructure, a shortage of specialized human resources, and management issues are among the primary challenges facing Afghanistan's healthcare system. Additionally, opportunities such as international support and utilizing modern technologies in healthcare have been identified. The study concludes that investment in infrastructure, human resource training, and strengthening international collaborations are essential to improve the healthcare situation in Afghanistan.

The Influence of Servant Leadership, Human Resource Training and Motivation on Performance Mediated by Job Satisfaction of Employees of the Malinau Regency Education Office, North Kalimantan Province

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the performance of employees of the Malinau Regency Education Office with a focus on servant leadership, human resources (HR) training, motivation, and job satisfaction as mediating variables. The study was conducted using a quantitative approach with the Partial Least Square (PLS) method on 66 employees. The results showed that servant leadership has a significant influence on employee performance with a contribution of 61.4%. HR training displays the strongest influence with a coefficient of 0.942, indicating that the quality of training directly improves performance. Motivation made a positive contribution of 25.6% to employee performance. Job satisfaction proved to play an effective role as a mediating variable between servant leadership, HR training, and motivation. The study concluded that a holistic approach through servant leadership, quality training, and a comprehensive motivation system can create a productive work environment. The locality context of Malinau Regency provides a unique perspective in the study of human resource management in a region with specific geographical and socio-cultural characteristics.

Enhancing Public Service Delivery through Digital Transformation: A Study on the Role of E-Government in Modern Public Administration

Digital transformation has become a crucial element in improving the quality of public service delivery, particularly through the implementation of e-government. This study aims to analyze the role of e-government in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of modern public administration. Using a qualitative research method through literature analysis and in-depth interviews with government employees across several public service agencies in Indonesia, this study explores the benefits and challenges faced in the implementation of e-government. The findings indicate that e-government significantly contributes to expediting public service processes, increasing transparency, and minimizing potential corruption and abuse of power. Furthermore, e-government enables more effective interagency collaboration through integrated information systems, positively impacting operational efficiency. However, the study also identifies obstacles to the adoption of e-government, such as limited digital infrastructure, resistance from government officials, and the digital divide in society, which can reduce its effectiveness. This study concludes that e-government can serve as a strategic instrument for public administration reform if supported by infrastructure improvements, human resource training, and increased public digital literacy. Consequently, e-government not only enhances the quality of public services but also strengthens accountability and public trust in the government. The study’s recommendations include strategies to improve information technology capacity, formulate policies that support digital transformation, and raise awareness and public participation in utilizing digital government services.

The Effect of Training and Career Development on Employee Performance at PT Sumber Anugrah Prima

One strategy to enhance employee performance is through the implementation of training and development programs. The objective of this study is to evaluate the impact of “training and development of human resources” on employee performance at PT Sumber Anugrah Prima located in Samarinda. The methodology used in this research is associative with a quantitative approach. The research was conducted within PT Sumber Anugrah Prima and used saturated sampling technique, where 63 employees were used as respondents. The results of the analysis show that both individually and simultaneously, the variables of training and career development have a significant effect on employee performance at PT Sumber Anugrah Prima Samarinda. The R Square value obtained is 0.701, or 70.1%, indicating that training and career development make a substantial contribution to improving employee performance.

Design of an Inclusive Digital Platform for Training and Distribution of Human Resources in Improving Accessibility and Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities

This study addresses the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities in accessing employment opportunities in Indonesia, focusing on the creation of a digital platform that enhances their employability. The research was conducted at Sentra Budi Perkasa in Palembang City, a center that already utilizes an online training registration system but struggles with effective distribution of resources to its trainees. The primary objective was to develop a web-based platform that facilitates registration and improves access to job vacancies for persons with disabilities capable of using electronic devices. Through a combination of observations, interviews, and literature reviews, this study explored the needs and barriers encountered by this demographic, particularly those affected by conditions such as amputation, stroke, and congenital disorders. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology was employed, ensuring a swift development process and involving users actively to reduce errors and enhance system relevance. The resulting platform not only simplifies the process of finding training and job opportunities for persons with disabilities but also serves as a model for similar initiatives aiming to integrate disabled individuals into the workforce more effectively. This study contributes to the field by providing a practical solution to a significant societal issue and outlining a framework for future enhancements in digital accessibility for disabled populations.

Research on satisfaction of Vietnamese university lecturers

For universities, lecturers are the human resources who directly carry out the training task to create human resource training products for society; lecturers play an important role in determining the strategic development of the school. Universities that motivate lecturers to work will create satisfaction for lecturers, promote creativity to contribute to the school. This study addresses the job satisfaction of lecturers, including public universities and non-public universities to identify and compare the differences in job satisfaction of lecturers at universities in Vietnam. The author uses quantitative methods through a survey of 800 lecturers from 10 universities in Vietnam to collect data for the study. The research results show that salary, work itself, development opportunities, recognition, relationships at work, working environment and conditions have an impact on the job satisfaction of lecturers. However, the level of impact of each factor on the satisfaction of lecturers at public universities is different from that of lecturers at non-public universities; showing a clear difference in job satisfaction of lecturers at two types of universities in Vietnam. With the results of this research, the author finds that salary, work itself, development opportunities, recognition, relationships at work, working environment and conditions have an impact on the job satisfaction of lecturers at non-public universities; lecturer satisfaction also contributes significantly to the success of universities, it determines the quality of higher education, promotes innovation in universities.

Human resource development both those working in the public sector (Civil Servants, SOE Employees, BUMD Employees) and sectors. Talking about organizational problems is inseparable from the element of human resources. The definition of human resources is people in an organization who participate and contribute according to their respective fields of duty. Human resource development will indeed not see results quickly, but in the long term, this investment will yield results that meet the expectations of the organization.In this sense, the term development will include the meaning of training and education, namely as a means of improving skills and general knowledge for human resources, in this case Civil Servants who work at the Fakfak Development Planning Agency. In the work unit at the Fakfak Development Planning Agency, it can be achieved well if there is a Civil Servant development program.This study aims to find out the influence of human resource training and development factors on the productivity of civil servants on the Fakfak Regency BAPPEDA and to find out the most dominant variables of human resource training and development factors affecting the productivity of civil servants in the Fakfak Regency BAPPEDA.The research methods used are quantitative and qualitative research methods. Based on the results of important findings of the Civil Servant Development Method research, there are 2 (two) methods of employee development, namely the on the job training method and the off the job training method.

The Mekong Delta region currently lacks a high-quality labor force. Many universities have opened postgraduate training programs to provide high-quality labor for this region. On the systematic approach to development and practical activities, this study on the teaching staff with high-quality human resource training activities is to answer two research questions: (1) What are the researches on the teaching staff role in human resource training at the higher education focusing on? and (2) What are the gaps in this line of research on training highly qualified human resources? From there, this study assesses the current strengths and weaknesses of the teaching staff of universities in the Mekong Delta, identifies opportunities and challenges in human resource training in the new context; at the same time, it orients the activities of linking the teaching staff universities​ Open approach, increased autonomy, self-responsibility in the field of training high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive educational innovation.

It’s time to celebrate! Linking genetic resources to the Mexican National Biological Collections custodied by the Institute of Biology of the National Autonomous University of Mexico

The Instituto de Biología of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (IBUNAM) celebrates 95 years as a leading institution on biodiversity research. Besides developing frontier research, training of human resources, and public science communication, IBUNAM houses 10 National Zoological Collections and the National Herbarium of Mexico (MEXU). The specimens deposited in these collections are the foundation of numerous biological studies, from which ample genetic resources have been generated. Here we present an initial effort to link the specimens deposited at the National Biological Collections housed at IBUNAM to their public genetic resources, using MEXU’s Collection of Types of Vascular Plants as proof of concept. First, a list of the type specimens was retrieved from IBdata, the web system for consulting the records of the biological collections housed at IBUNAM. Then, the interface Entrez Programming Utilities of GenBank was used to search for the available genetic resources associated with the type specimens. New fields were incorporated into IBdata to facilitate access to the identified genetic resources. Future initiatives should promote access to the public metadata (e.g., molecular, morphological) associated to specimens of the biological collections housed at IBUNAM.

Barriers and Strategies: Analysis of the Implementation of Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) at PTKI in Aceh

The objective of this study is to analyze the challenges encountered in the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy in Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKI) in Aceh and to propose strategies to address these challenges and enhance the effectiveness of policy implementation. The study focuses specifically on implementing the MBKM policy in PTKI in Aceh, which is noteworthy due to the unique obstacles relating to infrastructure and human resources in this region. The study offers strategic solutions that can be employed to improve the effectiveness of MBKM policy implementation. Furthermore, it provides valuable insights for other universities in Indonesia that may confront similar challenges in implementing the MBKM policy. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach to investigate PTKI subjects, using interviews, observations, and policy document analysis. The findings reveal that significant obstacles, including a lack of understanding and awareness, limited technological infrastructure, insufficient internet access, and financial constraints impede the implementation of PTKI in Aceh. To overcome these challenges, strategic efforts are needed to raise awareness and educate stakeholders about MBKM, upgrade technology and internet infrastructure, enhance human resource readiness and training, revise internal policies to support the flexibility of MBKM better, streamline bureaucratic processes, and explore additional or alternative sources of funding to support program implementation.

Integrating Technology in Tahfidzul Qur'an School Development Programs

Islamic educational institutions face the challenge of integrating information technology into their programs to enhance their long-term sustainability and effectiveness. However, there is limited research on how tahfidzul Qur'an programs can incorporate technological advances for improved school development. This study addresses this gap by exploring the development of an information technology-based tahfidzul Qur'an school program at Al Azhar International Islamic Boarding School. Utilizing an exploratory descriptive qualitative method, the research gathers insights from the school's founder to identify key strategies. The results indicate that careful planning, monitoring, and evaluation are essential for achieving long-term educational goals. Human resource development, seen as a valuable institutional asset, must be prioritized through regular training. Additionally, optimizing information media is crucial to increase the institution's visibility and attract prospective students. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on integrating technology into religious education management. The implications suggest that effective use of technology in tahfidzul Qur'an school programs can align graduate outcomes with the institution's vision and mission, setting a model for similar educational programs seeking sustainable development. This research aims to report on the development of Digital Industry Agency (DIA), covering the company’s identity, organization, target market, and financials. DIA, known for specializing in the development of digital products, focuses on big data and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. The goal of establishing DIA is to address various issues within companies related to Industry 4.0 through digitalization. ERP, as the main product, is designed to enhance company efficiency and effectiveness by integrating systems and business processes into a unified platform that can be used by all departments and branches of the company. DIA has successfully overcome challenges in developing and marketing digital solutions, particularly ERP, in the era of Industry 4.0. By focusing on innovation and digitalization, DIA has been able to improve operational efficiency and expand its market reach. The strategy of combining digital technology with service personalization has proven effective in attracting and retaining customers. Determinants of Occupational Health and Safety Compliance by Malaysian SMEs

Occupational safety and health (OSH) are a critical component of effective business governance. Efficient management of occupational safety and health fosters potential for growth and sustainability, and conversely. Disregarding occupational safety and health negatively impacts all stakeholders, from individual workers to national healthcare systems. This indicates that stakeholders can benefit from enhanced OSH compliance via consistent approaches. The primary principle of global OSH compliance is the mitigation and reduction of accidents, incidents, and diseases. A comparable viewpoint is relevant for small and medium-sized firms (SMEs), including those in Malaysia. This study investigated the factors influencing OSH compliance among Malaysian SMEs using a quantitative research methodology. The impact of five critical determinants: top management support, human resource practices, training and education, organisational attitude, and organisational awareness, on the attainment of OSH compliance was evaluated, drawing from literature support. A survey was done utilising convenience sampling with 400 SMEs in Malaysia. Data was gathered from 380 responding SMEs and examined using structural equation modelling (SEM) with partial least squares (PLS). The statistical findings indicated that human resource practices, organisational attitudes, and organisational awareness were key predictors of occupational safety and health compliance in the sampled Malaysian SMEs. The significance of administering OSH focused human resource policy, particularly the HR practice of endorsing safety and related training programs, has facilitated enhanced support for OSH training programs and employee awareness. The findings indicated that SMEs’ practice of displaying hazardous warning signs and promoting incident reporting has resulted in improved occupational safety and health compliance. The level of SMEs’ awareness regarding the necessity to review standard operating procedures before initiating work, safety information related to hazardous materials, understanding the risks associated with chemical substances, and the segregation of waste materials prior to disposal has facilitated effective OSH compliance among the participating SMEs. The investigation yielded multiple implications derived from the results obtained.

Future of Work: How Digital Tools are Transforming Human Resource Management

This study examines the transformative role of digital tools in reshaping key functions of Human Resource Management (HRM), including recruitment, training, performance management, and employee engagement. Employing a mixed-method approach, it integrates quantitative survey data with qualitative insights from HR professionals to assess the impact of digital technologies on HR functions. The results indicate a 35% improvement in recruitment effi ciency, enhanced employee development, and significant advances in perfor- mance management through the adoption of digital tools. Moreover, digital engagement platforms have reduced employee turnover, particularly in remote work environments. Despite these benefits, challenges such as resistance to change and digital skill gaps persist, requiring attention for successful imple- mentation. The study contributes to academic literature by addressing these challenges and offering practical guidance for organizations. Future research should explore the long-term effects of digital transformation and the role of emerging technologies like blockchain in further revolutionizing HRM prac- tices.

Application of Fisheries Acoustics: A Review of the Current State in Mexico and Future Perspectives

In Mexico, marine acoustics research still faces technical and scientific challenges. For the past decade, the country has made a sustained effort to implement acoustic techniques to generate time series of standardized information; however, these data have been underutilized. Marine acoustics research has been used mainly for small pelagic species and has contributed to improving fishery management and to advising stakeholders. The Mexican scientific community has perceived marine acoustic techniques as expensive tools that are only used for industrial fishing purposes. Marine acoustics can provide information on the variability and interactions between species, their physical environment, and other communities of species, but this approach has not yet been integrated into interdisciplinary research programs or ecosystem models. Additionally, acoustic data provide estimates of biomass and indices of relative abundance, and they have suitable statistical properties for use in integrated catch-at-age models. In summary, to consolidate marine acoustic techniques in Mexico, it is necessary, at a minimum, to maintain the current infrastructure for acoustic studies, to increase the budget for the development of monitoring programs that collect ecosystem indicator data, to promote the training of human resources, and to encourage peer review of the information generated and reported in gray literature.

Nursing perception towards the impact of JCI accreditation on the quality of care in a university hospital in Palestine: a cross-sectional study

BackgroundThis study investigates nursing staff perceptions regarding the impact of Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation on the quality of care within a university hospital in Palestine. The research specifically examines how the accreditation process influences nursing practices, patient results, and overall healthcare quality in a challenging environment marked by unique operational and external pressures.MethodsThe study was conducted at An-Najah National University Hospital (NNUH), a university hospital in Palestine, using a cross-sectional survey design. The structured questionnaire employed in the study was based on the Donabedian model, which evaluates the process and outcome dimensions of healthcare quality influenced by JCI accreditation. The questionnaire consisted of 47 items, divided into ten main subsections. These subsections included participants’ demographical information (6 items), quality measurement and analysis (4 items), leadership, commitment and support (4 items), use of data (4 items), strategic quality planning (4 items), human resources education and training (4 items), quality management (4 items), quality results (4 items), staff involvement (5 items), and benefits of accreditation (8 items). The questionnaire was rigorously designed to assess both the quality processes and quality results. The eight subscales evaluated various aspects, such as leadership commitment, strategic planning, and staff involvement. To ensure reliability, the internal consistency of the survey was confirmed with a high Cronbach’s alpha score, demonstrating the tool’s robustness and reliability in capturing the intended data.ResultsThe study of 180 nurses overwhelmingly supported the positive impact of JCI accreditation on hospital quality improvement processes. More than 90% of respondents acknowledged the role of accreditation in improving resource utilization, meeting population needs, and promoting professional standards and values ​​among staff. Statistical analyses, including Pearson correlation and stepwise regression, highlighted strong positive associations between quality process variables and quality results. In particular, leadership commitment, strategic planning, and staff engagement were found to be significant predictors of improved quality results.ConclusionsThis study’s findings demonstrate that JCI accreditation significantly positively impacts nurses’ perceptions of care quality at NNUH. The study underscores the importance of international accreditation in driving quality improvements in healthcare, particularly in settings with unique challenges such as those faced in Palestine. These insights are crucial for policymakers and healthcare administrators aiming to enhance care standards through accreditation in similar environments.
