Practical training of highly qualified personnel is one of the main components of scientifi c support for animal husbandry of Russia

The purpose of the work was to provide an analysis of the practical training of highly qualifi ed personnel as one of the main components of scientific support for animal husbandry in Russia. Some issues of increasing the efficiency of scientific support for the agro-industrial complex of our country, especially animal husbandry have been discussed in the article. The authors note that the productive force of the livestock economy of the Russian Federation is highly qualified personnel selected for training in secondary specialized and higher educational institutions due to their interest in obtaining qualifications in the field of livestock husbandry from school and further improving their practical training in colleges and universities. The main unresolved problem of the present time to improve the quality of training of students to acquire practical skills in working with animals is the lack of educational and experimental farms staff ed with groups of all types and breeds of animals with elements of feed production, feed making, feeding, mechanization, as well as processing of the resulting products. Educational and training farms of universities and experimental farms of research institutes are one of the effective and efficient opportunities not only for practical training of personnel, but also for scientists to carry out experimental research at a high scientific and methodological level. Thus, the targeted selection of future students to colleges and universities from school, under the order of heads of various categories of farms and tireless monitoring of the process of their education, especially practical training and retraining in educational institutions of universities and colleges, timely testing of residual knowledge in the disciplines necessary for further professional the graduate’s activities will contribute to the production of highly professional personnel and their effective work in production, in the educational or research process, as well as the acceleration of scientific support for animal husbandry in the Russian Federation.

Research on the Influence of Digital Reading on College Students' Academic Ability -Based on the Investigation and Analysis of S College

Digital reading has become the main mode of reading for contemporary college students. It is meaningful research to actively explore strategies to improve college students' academic ability under the background of digital reading and provide high-quality talent training in colleges and universities. In this study, a mixed method is used to collect data through questionnaires and interviews, which reveals the positive correlation between digital reading and academic writing, information retrieval ability, and critical thinking ability and further confirms the positive correlation between digital reading and college students' academic ability. It is especially found that the frequency of reading academic papers has a significant positive impact on college students' academic writing ability and critical thinking ability. Based on the research results, it is suggested that colleges and universities take corresponding intervention measures to improve students' academic ability, such as academic writing training and information literacy training. The research results can provide a reference for universities to optimize teaching strategies and build a digital reading environment.

Tumor Board Practice and Current Approach of Oncologists in Türkiye

Objective: Interdisciplinary cooperation is essential in treating and following up cancer disease. The primary objective of multidisciplinary tumor councils (MDTCs) is to identify the most suitable and effective treatment strategies for cancer patients through the collective decision-making of experts in oncology. MDTC plays a key role in breaking traditional taboos, providing the most up-to-date approach to the patient, sharing responsibility and accountability, and encouraging interdisciplinary communication and collaboration. Material and Methods: In this study, the perspectives, expectations, and experiences of medical oncologists regarding tumor boards were evaluated. The survey consisted of 10 questions and was conducted as an online survey at the '7th National Immunotherapy and Oncology Congress'. This study was cross-sectional and online. While those who were actively working as medical oncologists and those who wanted to voluntarily participate in the survey were included in the study, those who were not medical oncologists, those who were not actively working, and those who worked in private clinics were not included in the study. Participants were asked various questions about multidisciplinary tumor boards. They were asked about the specialties they most needed on the boards, the other clinics participating in the boards, and the clinics they felt were essential. The necessity of genetic clinics and molecular boards in shaping the future of oncology through molecular assessments was also assessed. The impact of board decisions on patient treatment and management was investigated. Results: A total of 624 oncologists participated in the survey. The majority of the participants were young oncologists. Most participants worked in tertiary healthcare units, including university hospitals and training and research hospitals. Almost all of the participants stated that they did MDTC. The most frequent and regular councils are; thoracic cancers and gastrointestinal cancers. The most needed and hard to reach branch was the medical genetics department. Conclusion: Cancer treatment is a complex process that cannot be confined to a single expertise. Multidisciplinary tumor boards (MDTB) are one of the cornerstones of a comprehensive approach to cancer treatment. In multidisciplinary tumor boards, various topics such as medical treatment planning for patients, diagnosis, surgical and radiotherapy planning, side effect management, and palliative care can be examined. MDTB not only provides effective treatment for cancer patients from a broad perspective but also ensures rapid and comprehensive solutions in case of potential complications.

Importance of case history in disease diagnosis as perceived by medicos

History taking is an important tool available to the medical student to make a reasonable working diagnosis. The process of clinical reasoning helps give a comprehensive view of the patient’s needs and aids in patient centered care. Though 43.9% of the medicos strongly agreed that diagnosis is an important function of a doctor, only 18.3 % of the men and 10.6 % of the women were convinced that a good diagnosis was possible with case taking alone. Overall, only 7.3 % felt confident in taking a good history. The current study shows that history taking and physical examination is taking a lesser role in diagnosis. Communication with the patient is also seen as not necessary. This descriptive study involves 164 medicos (110 final years and 54 interns) who were administered a predetermined questionnaire. Findings were subjected to tests of significance like Chi square at 5% Level of significance.To identify the importance given to history taking in disease diagnosis among medicos. Undergraduate medical education must ensure training in communication, proper history taking and good examination skills. Small-group skills workshops using role-plays followed by effective feedback are ways to certifiable training in medical colleges.

The effect of audit training in universities on the audit expectation gap

The audit expectation gap (AEG) is a phenomenon where there is a difference between what people expect of auditors and what they can do. This research was conducted in 2023 with 336 university students in Vietnam to assess the effect of university training on the AEG related to auditors' responsibilities. The reliability of the scale and the average difference between student groups were tested using SPSS 29 software. The results showed that AEG exists among accounting students who have studied auditing subjects. Most of these students have higher expectations than other students. This study also revealed that the university's auditing program and auditing courses effectively narrowed the AEG to two in nine auditor's responsibilities and one in nine auditor's responsibilities, respectively. However, it is important to note that these changes were only cognitive. Students still expect auditors to fulfill crucial responsibilities such as detecting fraud, predicting bankruptcy, evaluating ongoing operations and serving as the "family doctor" of the enterprise. Therefore, training for students can help narrow the AEG about certain audit responsibilities. A better approach is to strengthen the responsibility and authority of auditors. The future of the audit profession depends on the demands of stakeholders and the capabilities of the profession. The auditing profession must accept new demands for auditor responsibilities in the new context. This also has implications for audit bodies in narrowing the audit expectation gap in Vietnam.

Do languages open doors? A theoretical model of linguistic capital and (im)mobility and its application in Spanish youth migration

ABSTRACT Language skills have demonstrated their significance in migration decisions; however, their role as a potential cause of immobility has been largely overlooked. In this paper, I first propose a theoretical model that seeks to explain decisions regarding mobility and immobility based on the instrumental returns generated by an individual's linguistic capital within a given opportunity structure. Secondly, I apply this model utilizing data from university and vocational training graduates in Spain. Leveraging its particularity as a case study, which encompasses five regions where a minority's co-official language is an integral part of ethnic identification and shares a similar institutional environment that encourages its use, I find that bilingualism is primarily linked to internal immobility. Simultaneously, it affects the direction of internal migration, since bilinguals are more inclined to relocate to areas with similar language conditions. Bilingualism also presents indirect effects. The results indicate that bilingualism influences international migration by facilitating the acquisition of a foreign language, which becomes increasingly attainable as the cost of language acquisition decreases, though the effect remains relatively small.

Entrepreneurial Tendencies and Intentions of Students in a Rural-based Technical and Vocational Education and Training College

In an environment with unprecedented unemployment levels, entrepreneurship is promoted as an approach that has a potentially positive effect on the economy through innovation and employment creation. The objective of the current study was to determine entrepreneurial interest and intention among college students. This study examined the entrepreneurial tendencies of students registered for an entrepreneurship module in a college. The study was quantitative and used Caird’s General Enterprising Tendencies Questionnaire to collect information from students registered at the local college. The theory of planned behavior was utilized to explore whether, if the students have an interest in business, they are also inclined to act on that desire to participate in business undertakings. The results suggested that the students in the study possessed the tendency to be entrepreneurial and were keen to start businesses at some point in their lives. Yet, they mostly do not intend to start business ventures for several reasons, including fear of failure. The study contributes to the knowledge that underprivileged still contributes to a lack of entrepreneurial inclination, and support is paramount in nurturing that entrepreneurial interest. The study recommends that the college’s entrepreneurship education emphasizes information about reasonable small business prospects in the area; provide relevant information such as funding or registration, for the encouragement and advancement of especially youth-owned businesses; and host dialogues that should be delivered by young successful small business owners or managers.

The Model of “Post, Course, Competition, Certificate” Integrated Education for Electronic Information Engineering Technology Major in Higher Vocational Colleges

The core education function of higher vocational colleges is to train technical talents with high quality, so as to meet the needs of talents in the development stage of our society. Under the guidance of talent training, higher vocational colleges need to pay attention to establishing an all-round and three-dimensional education model, and promote innovation of higher vocational education on the basis of this. It is also a way to promote the innovation of higher vocational education to vigorously promote the construction of “post, course, competition, certificate” mode in the construction of education mode. Through the construction of “post, course, competition, certificate” mode, the education mode of higher vocational colleges is gradually improved, so as to strengthen the effectiveness of talent training in higher vocational colleges. Therefore, in this paper, the author puts forward some suggestions to promote the construction of the integrated education mode of the electronic information engineering technology major in higher vocational colleges, so as to help improve the talent training level of higher vocational colleges.

College Managerial Practices for Promoting English Language Teaching and Learning in Tanzania: A Case Study of Grade ‘A’ Public Teachers’ Training Colleges

This study examined the college management practices for promoting English language teaching and learning in public teachers’ colleges using a case of Grade ‘A’ central zone training institutions. The objective of the study was to identify college management practices for promoting English language teaching and learning. The qualitative study employed a case study design, and interviews and focus group discussions to generate data from 20 conveniently and purposively sampled respondents comprising English language teachers, academic deans, principals and students. The study found out that teachers’ training colleges used performance rewards, close monitoring and evaluation of teachers, debating and other English clubs, staff professional development, and providing supportive teaching and learning environment to enhance English language teaching and learning. Additionally, the teachers’ college management need regular monitoring to ensure that English language promotion plans it was are properly executed instead of remaining only good on paper.

Study on the Alignment Between Talent Training Directions and Employment Market Demands in the Landscape Architecture Industry

Currently, talent training in Chinese universities for landscape architecture is mainly divided into three directions: “landscape planning and design,” “landscape construction management,” and “landscape plant planting and maintenance.” However, with the background of the slowing urbanization process and the widespread demand for composite talents in society, it remains to be verified whether the traditional three major talent training directions in landscape architecture align with the job demands in the current construction market. Based on a survey and analysis of over 300 industry practitioners, this study found a clear trend of merging the three major employment directions into “landscape design and construction” and “landscape plant planting and maintenance.” This presents new requirements and directions for the skill training of landscape architecture majors in universities and provides insights into the alignment between talent training and employment demands in other industries.

A Case of Kiswahili as a Second Language Classroom

In Second Language (SL) classroom interactions, teachers and learners might face language mismatch due to learners’ limited target language (TL) linguistic resources. In such situations, communication strategies (CS) like approximation, non-verbal cues, code-switching, and others help to compensate for the breakdown. However, in most SL classes, teachers either do not use these strategies to ease interaction with their learners or use them without noticing their significance. Thus, it is questionable whether SL teachers are cognizant of the use of CSs when interacting with their learners. This paper examines teachers’ knowledge of the use of Communication Strategies (CSs) in Kiswahili as a Second Language (KSL) classrooms in Tanzania. In particular, the present paper seeks to determine the CSs used by KSL teachers and to ascertain their cognizance of the use of CSs in classroom interaction. The research on which this paper is based was a qualitative case study involving three KSL teachers, purposively sampled from the Kiswahili na Utamaduni (KIU) training centre. Classroom observation and personal interviews were used to collect data. Findings indicate that the teachers relied on code-switching and used CSs with limited knowledge of specific strategies. This study recommends that KSL teachers should be given awareness to be able to consider using recommended CSs effectively to facilitate classroom interaction. In addition, teachers’ training colleges should consider involving units on CSs in language teaching courses.

Digital competences of university students after face-to-face and remote teaching: Video-animations digital create content

In today's digitally advanced society, there is a need to focus on collaborative educational approaches of a socio-community nature that incorporate technology. From this perspective, the FEJYLEN and FEJYLENVAL programs were conceived and implemented for both remote (online) and face-to-face teaching. These programs are based on an E-Learning-Service methodology, enabling the training of university students in digital skills, and facilitating the transfer of their interactive educational video-animations to early childhood education centers. The study sample consisted of 221 students enrolled in Early Childhood Education and Speech Therapy Degrees. The study had two objectives: first, to compare digital competences before and after participating in the mentioned programs; and second, to evaluate the impact of the type of teaching and university training on the acquisition of digital competences. The findings indicate that students receiving face-to-face teaching demonstrated significant improvement across all digital competences' factors with a medium-high effect size. Conversely, for students receiving remote instruction, improvements were limited to only certain skill factors. Our study reveals that face-to-face teaching is associated with higher scores in digital competencies and more efficient digital content creation. In conclusion, this research highlights the advantages of face-to-face teaching in comparison to remote instruction. This has facilitated a closer connection between the university and the realities faced by educational centers, fostering the exchange of knowledge between learning communities.

The Effectiveness of Listening Team Learning Strategies to Improve the Results of class five in Fiqh Lesson at Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor 2 for Female

Listening Team Strategy cooperative learning model that requires students to think critically, and each group has a different task. So, students can play an active role in expressing their opinions. The low average result in fiqh lesson (bidayatul mujtahid) of class five in Fiqh lesson (Bidayatul Mujtahid) of Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor 2 for female shows that students do not understand the material as whole. Based on the description above, this research aims to: (1) Know the result before and after using the methode from Listening Team in strategy for the experimental class and (2) know the result before and after using conventional learning in the control class (3) to know the effectiveness of listening team strategy on learning outcomes (Bidayatul Mujtahid) of class five in Fiqh lesson at Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor 2 for female. The type of research in this study is quantitative experiments using a quasi-experiment design, namely a nonequivalent control group design with the form of a pretest-posttest control group design. Test the initial and final tests in both classes. Based on the results of this study, researchers concluded that the Listening Team strategy effected to increase the learning outcomes of class five of Islamic teacher training college. Researchers hope that further research to deepen the learning tractor and improve student outcomes. It can help students to understand learning material, especially fiqh lesson.

The article is devoted to the origins of reflection on technology in Russian philosophy and literature from the 19th and 20th centuries. Our focus is on the technical developments and the phenomenon of technology as it appears in the works of the Russian philosopher Vladimir Odoevsky. The appeal to Odoevsky’s ideas is of particular relevance in today’s context of the formation of technological societies and perspectives. It is with the achievements of mechanics and technology that Odoevsky correlates his hopes for the good development of man and society, he connects the enlightenment and education of young people. At the same time, Odoevsky sees the danger lurking in mechanism and rational knowledge. This danger will be the loss of integrity, decay and devastation that will befall the world that has survived the crisis of culture. Turning to the work of the thinker, we trace the trends in reflection on technology from a philosophical position, as well as in unity with the poetic and musical. The theoretical basis of the study is the opposition of Odoevsky’s technical and poetic as vectors of social development. As a result of the analysis, the author of the article comes to an ambivalent assessment of the role of technology by Odoevsky, contrasting the romanticization of technology with the negative prospects of the “industrial”, “egoistic” century, which are further developed in the domestic and foreign philosophy of technology and anti-utopia of the 20th and 21th centuries. In his futuristic projects, Odoevsky discovers the potential of scientific foresight, embodied in the achievements of modern science and technology. The transition in the assessment of technology from idealism to scientific realism and positivism, reasoning of a social orientation (“Russian Nights”, 1844), the key opposition in Odoevsky’s concept of the romanticization of technology to the negative prospects of technical expansion is further developed in the domestic and foreign philosophy of technology of the 20th and 21th centuries. The modern appeal to reflection on technology in Russian philosophy and literature is due to the expansive introduction of technology into the life of society, the rejection of ethical neutrality and the trend towards autonomy, as well as the demand for the modern educational process, university training programs for both humanitarian and technical orientation.

Clinical spectrum of patients diagnosed with childhood mastocytosis: a retrospective single center experience.

Background. Pediatric cutaneous mastocytosis patients diagnosed and followed up by our specialist were enrolled in this study, and clinical and laboratory evaluations were retrospectively analyzed from patients' archived files. Methods. Patients, who applied to the Division of Pediatric Allergy And Immunology Unit of a University Training and Research Hospital between 01.01.2010 and 28.04.2021, were enrolled in this study. Results. Of the 33 patients included in the study, 11 (33.3%) were female and 22 (67.7%) were male. The median age of onset of the patient's complaints was 7 (0-60) months. The median age at diagnosis was 11 (2-64) months. Their complaints' median regression age was 54 (6-192) months. Resistant clinical findings were followed in 13 (39.4%) patients. Itching, redness, gastrointestinal symptoms, and maculopapular eruption were the most common complaints. The rashes were mostly polymorphic and larger than 1 cm. Heat was the most common trigger. Darier's sign was positive in 97% of the patients. Antihistamines were the most commonly used drug for prophylaxis and treatment. The autoinjector prescription rate was 24.2%. Conclusions. Quality of life was mildly affected in 48,5% of the patients based on the CDLQI scores. Thus, patients should be followed up through adolescence for the development of systemic signs and symptoms.

The evaluation of burn knowledge and burn management skills of resident doctors of emergency medicine, general surgery and plastic surgery

Abstract Background/Aims: Our study aimed to assess the abilities of emergency medicine, general surgery, and plastic surgery resident doctors in diagnosing, treating, and managing burn patients. Methods: We conducted a survey study between 04.05.2015 and 04.08.2015 at university hospitals and training and research hospitals in Ankara. We collected information on the age, gender, experience, and hospital of the doctors, as well as their training and approaches to treating burn cases. We evaluated their knowledge in various areas, including clinical approaches to 2nd and 3rd-degree burn cases, escharotomy localizations, intubation indications, bulla treatment, referral and hospitalization indications, identification of inhalation burns, and fluid resuscitation.
