Research on the Reform and Innovation of Foreign Language Teaching in Art Schools

In the era of globalization, foreign language ability has become increasingly important for artistic talents. The traditional foreign language teaching model has been unable to meet the current social demand for artistic talents’ cross-cultural communication ability. Therefore, art colleges should speed up the reform and innovation of foreign language teaching. This paper first analyzes the existing problems in the current foreign language teaching in art colleges, including single teaching content, outdated teaching methods, lack of practical teaching, and insufficient teachers. Then, the paper puts forward some targeted reform strategies, including improving the teaching content to ensure comprehensive development. including innovative teaching methods to build efficient classrooms, exerting importance on practical teaching and enhancing practical ability, as well as strengthening the teaching staff and improving the teaching level. The purpose of this paper is to provide an effective reference for foreign language teachers in art colleges, effectively improve the cross-cultural communication ability of art talents, and cultivate art talents suitable for the development of the new era.

面向印尼学生的“听说+读写”高效教学模式探析

<p>In response to the actual needs of Indonesian students in learning Chinese,Sekolah Tinggi Bahasa Harapan Bersama in Pontianak and the College of Chinese Language and Culture of Jinan University have cooperated to open an efficient teaching model of "listening, speaking + reading and writing", in order to quickly improve students' Chinese use ability in a short period of time. This study intends to compare the efficient model with the traditional Indonesian undergraduate teaching model from the aspects of curriculum setting, teaching content, teaching methods and teaching strategies, so as to better meet the needs of different learners. In terms of curriculum setting, the efficient mode adopts the concept of "small steps and fast walking", and the course type is streamlined into two categories: "listening and speaking" and "reading and writing". In terms of teaching content, the study aims to analyze the differences in the content learned by comparing the number of new words taught in one semester and the difficulty level of the two modes. In terms of teaching methods and strategies, the teaching model of "listening, speaking + reading and writing" proposes teaching strategies including "language 'use' for middle school", 'increasing input' and 'running in small steps'". On the basis of teaching practice, this paper evaluates the practical effect of the effective teaching mode of "listening, speaking + reading and writing" for Indonesian students from the aspects of Chinese proficiency test scores, daily homework and activity performance, and then reflects on and improves the teaching practice.</p>

Application and Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Artificial Intelligence in Personalized Learning

The application of artificial intelligence (AI) in personalized learning has demonstrated remarkable advantages, including intelligent assessment, resource recommendation, and teaching optimization, effectively enhancing learning outcomes and engagement. However, this process has also revealed several issues. Firstly, technical challenges and limitations hinder AI's ability to fully adapt to each student's individual needs, requiring further improvements in algorithm accuracy and reliability. Secondly, data privacy and security issues have become increasingly prominent, necessitating robust measures to protect student data from misuse and leakage. Lastly, challenges in the educational system and mindset must be addressed, focusing on how to integrate AI technology into traditional education models while maintaining teaching quality. To address these issues, continuous research and development, enhanced data protection, and the updating of educational systems and mindsets are required to fully harness the potential of AI in personalized learning.

Application of AI-empowered scenario-based simulation teaching mode in cardiovascular disease education

BackgroundCardiovascular diseases present a significant challenge in clinical practice due to their sudden onset and rapid progression. The management of these conditions necessitates cardiologists to possess strong clinical reasoning and individual competencies. The internship phase is crucial for medical students to transition from theory to practical application, with an emphasis on developing clinical thinking and skills. Despite the critical need for education on cardiovascular diseases, there is a noticeable gap in research regarding the utilization of artificial intelligence in clinical simulation teaching.ObjectiveThis study aims to evaluate the effect and influence of AI-empowered scenario-based simulation teaching mode in the teaching of cardiovascular diseases.MethodsThe study utilized a quasi-experimental research design and mixed-methods. The control group comprised 32 students using traditional teaching mode, while the experimental group included 34 students who were instructed on cardiovascular diseases using the AI-empowered scenario-based simulation teaching mode. Data collection included post-class tests, “Mini-CEX” assessments, Clinical critical thinking scale from both groups, and satisfaction surveys from experimental group. Qualitative data were gathered through semi-structured interviews.ResultsResearch shows that compared with traditional teaching models, AI-empowered scenario-based simulation teaching mode significantly improve students’ performance in many aspects. The theoretical knowledge scores(P < 0.001), clinical operation skills(P = 0.0416) and clinical critical thinking abilities of students(P < 0.001) in the experimental group were significantly improved. The satisfaction survey showed that students in the experimental group were more satisfied with the teaching scene(P = 0.008), Individual participation(P = 0.006) and teaching content(P = 0.009). There is no significant difference in course discussion, group cooperation and teaching style of teachers(P > 0.05). Additionally, the qualitative data from the interviews highlighted three themes: (1) Positive new learning experience, (2) Improved clinical critical thinking skills, and (3) Valuable suggestions and concerns for further improvement.ConclusionThe AI-empowered scenario simulation teaching Mode plays an important role in the improvement of clinical thinking and skills of medical undergraduates. This study believes that the AI-empowered scenario simulation teaching mode is an effective and feasible teaching model, which is worthy of promotion in other courses.

Study on Learning Satisfaction of Financial Management Courses Based on Project-Based Flipped Classroom (PjBFC)

In recent years, social media, smartphones, and computers have been increasingly used in classrooms. The traditional education model has been greatly challenged. This study combines the two teaching methods of project-based learning and flipped classroom into one to form the teaching model of PjBFC, and studies the students' learning satisfaction with this teaching method through TAM model. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 163 students and the SEM model was used for analysis. The results show that perceived ease of use has a positive impact on perceived usefulness. Both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness have a positive impact on students' learning satisfaction. Perceived usefulness has a mediating role between them. PjBFC is very helpful in improving students' interest in learning.

Enhancing High School Mathematics Education Through School-based Research: Development and Mechanisms

In the context of ongoing educational reforms aimed at fostering critical competencies among high school students, this paper explores the implementation and impact of school-based mathematics research (SBR) as a strategic innovation within the high school curriculum. Adopting mixed research methods, in the study questionnaires were distributed to all students and teachers in the early stage to collect and analyze relevant data and than the study combines quantitative analyses of student performance data with qualitative insights from teacher and student feedback to assess the effects of SBR on teaching practices and learning outcomes. This research is based on the fact that the traditional education model cannot meet the needs of cultivating students' thinking ability, and the new curriculum reform has decentralized teaching research to schools. The study is helpful to explore the effect of SBR on the cultivation of teachers' scientific research ability and the improvement of classroom quality. The results show the powerful role of SBR in promoting teaching practice and student participation. Based on school characteristics, it proposes effective teaching improvement measures to improve the quality of mathematics education.

Reshaping the Teacher-Student Relationship in Higher Education Through ChatGPT

The rapid progress in artificial intelligence, especially with advancements in generative AI such as ChatGPT within Natural Language Processing (NLP), has introduced both new opportunities and challenges for traditional teaching models and the teacher-student relationship in higher education. ChatGPT's advanced deep learning and NLP capabilities have overcome limitations inherent in conventional teacher-student interactions, such as one-way communication and geographical constraints, and have promoted the growth of personalized teaching. This innovation has fostered a learning environment where "Everyone can be a teacher, every place can be a classroom, and teaching can happen at any time". However, this technology also brings challenges, including greater reliance on technology, diminished emotional connections between teachers and students, and issues related to algorithmic transparency. This paper examines ChatGPT's application in higher education, analyzing its effects on evolving teaching and learning models and the transformation of teacher-student relationships. By employing the “teacher-student-AI” triadic interaction model, the study highlights the significance of human-machine collaboration. It aims to optimize AI's self-learning processes, enhance human-centered education, and advance intelligent education in a more efficient and empathetic direction, offering both theoretical insights and practical guidance for transforming teacher-student relationships and improving undergraduate education standards.

The Development of a Blended Learning Model with a Flipped Classroom Based on MOOC to Enhance Academic Performance and Attitude in the "Basics of Computer Application" Course at Guangxi Normal University for Nationalities

Background and Aim: In today's highly competitive and evolving academic environment, academic performance and learning attitude are considered two crucial aspects that shape students' academic performance and personal development. Academic performance not only reflects a person's learning outcomes in a specific subject area but is also closely related to his or her learning attitude. The traditional teaching mode can’t meet the teaching demand of the "Basics of Computer Application" course, and the blended learning model is more suitable for the development of education information. This study aimed: (1) To study the development of students' academic performance by the flipped classroom teaching mode based on MOOC. (2) To study the development of students' learning attitudes by the flipped classroom teaching mode based on MOOC. Materials and Methods: The research sample is a total of 60 students in two classes of the first grade of preschool education at Guangxi Normal University for Nationalities, there are 30 students in both classes, and they are divided into two groups based on the class: Class 1 is used as the control group to teach in the traditional classroom teaching mode, and class 2 as the experimental group is taught in the flipped classroom teaching mode based on MOOC. The data of this research comes from test papers and questionnaires. Input the test data into SPSS for descriptive statistics and data analysis; input the questionnaire data into SPSS for data analysis. Results: (1) The academic performance after learning with the flipped classroom teaching model based on MOOC is significantly higher than the traditional teaching model(P&lt;0.01). (2) The attitude after learning with the flipped classroom teaching model based on MOOC is significantly higher than the traditional teaching model(P&lt;0.01). Conclusion: (1) In the "Basics of Computer Application" Course, flipped classroom teaching based on MOOC can improve students' academic performance more than traditional classroom teaching. (2) In the "Basics of Computer Application" Course, flipped classroom teaching based on MOOC can improve students' learning attitude more than traditional classroom teaching.

By analyzing the current application status of artificial intelligence in English translation teaching, this article summarizes the advantages of artificial intelligence in personalized learning, real-time feedback, language data processing, etc., while also pointing out its limitations in the teaching process. Exploration of Teaching Reform of Data Collection and Web Crawler Course Based on PDCA Cycle

The course of Data Collection and Web Crawler is highly practical and students are generally interested in learning it. However, the traditional teacher-centered teaching model focuses on knowledge transfer, which cannot meet the social demand for big data talents. PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle is the ideological basis of total quality management, which accords with the inherent law of teaching quality management. With &amp;quot;students&amp;quot; as the core and based on PDCA cycle, this paper carries out reform design from four processes of Plan, Do, Check and Act. The four stages of PDCA cycle correspond to the design, implementation, evaluation and reflection of teaching. The “Plan” part includes the design of teaching objectives and the design of teaching content. The teaching objectives are divided into knowledge objectives, ability objectives and quality objectives, while the design of teaching content can be summarized as addition, subtraction, adjustment and integration. The “Do” part mainly adopts a variety of teaching methods, such as the combination of theory and experiment, the combination of online and offline, the combination of group and individual reports. The “Check” part adopts a variety of evaluation methods, including examination, operation and reporting, to comprehensively evaluate students&amp;apos; knowledge, abilities and qualities. The “Act” part is mainly about standardizing successful methods, documenting existing problems to avoid repeat offenses, and transferring unresolved problems to the next cycle. Under the new teaching mode, the teaching is student-centered, giving full play to students&amp;apos; subjective initiative, and improving their ability and quality while mastering knowledge.

Quality Optimizing Teaching Decisions in Flipped Classrooms Through Data-Driven Strategies

In the context of digitalized educational research, the rapid advancement of internet technologies and big data has catalyzed the transformation of traditional teaching models. The flipped classroom, recognized for its flexibility and efficiency, has garnered significant attention. However, the challenge of scientifically optimizing teaching decisions in flipped classrooms to maximize educational outcomes remains critical. Previous studies have achieved some progress in optimizing teaching decisions within flipped classrooms, yet they often suffer from a lack of methodological diversity, inadequate consideration of multi-level constraints, and struggle to adapt to dynamic teaching environments. Addressing these deficiencies, this research introduces a hybrid evolutionary algorithm combining differential evolution and greedy backtracking. Defined and classified constraints within flipped classroom teaching decisions, the construction of constraint networks, and the creation of multi-level decision spaces are transformed and solved through this hybrid algorithm, offering a systematic optimization strategy. Case analysis confirms the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed method, aiming to bolster decision-making in flipped classrooms and advance the development of digitalized teaching.

ESP in Vocational Institutes: A Mixed-Method Study of Students’ ESP Learning Style Preferences

In vocational institutes, English for Specific Purposes (ESP) education should incorporate basic linguistic skills with professional communication abilities. There is a problem with ESP teaching that uses the traditional teaching model of general English, which fails to consider the needs of students. To tackle this problem, the aim of this study is to identify the preferred perceptual ESP learning styles of 254 students in seven Chinese vocational institutes. Data collection and analysis were conducted using a mixed-methods approach that combined both quantitative and qualitative methods. An adapted version of the Perceptual Learning Style Preference Questionnaire (PLSPQ) developed by Joy Reid (1987) was used at the first stage. Subsequently, in response to the questionnaire results, 15 students participated in semi-structured interviews. The results showed that a significant number of students chose minor learning modes rather than major learning modes. According to the data analysis, kinesthetic learning was the most preferred learning style, whereas group learning was the least preferred. The second to fifth places belonged to individual, tactile, visual, and auditory learning styles. The findings of the study have implications for ESP teachers, curriculum designers, and researchers considering students’ preferred learning styles, changes in the learning environment, and materials adaptations.

Finally, this paper proposes innovative practices in the pharmaceutical service teaching model, such as innovations in practice bases and internship projects, the application of virtual reality and simulation technologies, and the development of interdisciplinary teaching projects, aiming to provide new ideas and methods for pharmaceutical education.

This paper aims to explore the application of industry-education integration theory in university oral English teaching and to construct a teaching model that meets current educational needs. By analyzing the concept and connotation of industry-education integration, its impact on higher education, and its relationship with English oral teaching, this paper conducts a current situation analysis of university oral English teaching models and proposes improvement suggestions for the limitations of traditional oral teaching models. On this basis, this paper proposes a university oral English teaching model based on industry-education integration, including clear goals and principles, innovative teaching content and methods, and a comprehensive teaching resource and support system. Finally, through empirical research and case analysis, the effectiveness of the new model is verified, and future research directions are suggested.

Exploration of Project-Based Teaching Model for College English in Vocational Colleges
