Design of Information Management System Based on Random Leapfrog Band Selection Algorithm

With the rapid development of information technology, the traditional information management system faces the challenge of efficiency and accuracy when dealing with complex data and decision-making problems. In order to solve these problems, this paper integrates the random leapfrog band selection algorithm into the information management system. This algorithm shows excellent performance in dealing with large-scale, nonlinear and multi-variable optimization problems, resource allocation, scheduling optimization and data mining. This paper mainly explains the design framework of information management system, the optimization of information management by random leap-band selection algorithm and the design of information management system. Finally, two groups of simulation experiment results are as follows: the accuracy of the optimized information management system is 96%, the running time is 7.1min, the algorithm performance is better than the traditional system, and the response time of the system is reduced by 195ms. This research provides an efficient, flexible and scalable solution for dealing with various complex information management system optimization problems.

Application and Analysis of Decision Support System in the Development Trend of Coal Science and Technology

This paper expounds the development of coal technology in China, points out the development of safe and efficient production technology and equipment in coal mines, and the research of coal production technology and equipment. It also explains the decision support system and its related technologies. By combining with the development of coal science and technology, the article mainly studies the current situation of coal science and technology development and compares it with the traditional information management system. The result shows that the reduction rate of energy consumption per unit output value of the decision support system in coal is 5% higher than that of the traditional information management system, It also shows that the decision support system can be suitable for decision-making of coal enterprises, and is conducive to the development of coal science and technology.

Ontology-Based Knowledge Modeling for Collaborative Product Development

The process of Collaborative Product Development (CPD) comprises highly creative and knowledge-intensive tasks that involve extensive information exchange and communication among distributed teams. Traditional information management systems fail to provide adequate capability to support CPD, due to their inflexible data structures and hard-wired usage procedures, as well as their restricted ability to integrate process and product information. An ontology-based method of knowledge management is proposed to support CPD. The key idea hiding in the method is a flexible ontology-based schema with formally defined semantics that enables the capture and reuse of design knowledge. A part of CPD-oriented ontology library represented by UML is displayed.

Preliminary establishment of core collection in <I>Houttuynia cordata</I> Thunb of Huaihua

In order to solve the problem of the maze precision fertilizer,soil fertility evaluation,soil fertility classify and yield projections,the geographic information system with spatial information processing functions,spatial data mining techniques with spatial information analysis capabilities,expert system technology in the field of artificial intelligence,traditional information management systems and decision support system were effectively integrated in this study,and the statistical analysis method of GIS and data visualization were combined to design and implement the maize precise intelligent space decision-making system.This system had greatly improved the decision-making ability in agricultural production carried out by agricultural management.

An ontology-based approach to knowledge management in design processes

Engineering design processes comprise highly creative and knowledge-intensive tasks that involve extensive information exchange and communication among distributed teams. In such dynamic settings, traditional information management systems fail to provide adequate support due to their inflexible data structures and hard-wired usage procedures, as well as their restricted ability to integrate process and product information. In this paper, we advocate the idea of Process Data Warehousing as a means to provide a knowledge management and integration platform for such design processes. The key idea behind our approach is a flexible ontology-based schema with formally defined semantics that enables the capture and reuse of design experience, supported by advanced computer science methods.

Development of Spatial Decision Support Systems for Residential Real Estate

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of decision makingin the residential real estate industry. They can organize, manage, and analyze information in waysthat were not possible with traditional information management systems. Although GIS are now usedto perform specific business functions, their use can be magnified and extended through the creationof enterprise-wide spatial decision support systems (SDSS).This article provides a conceptual framework for the development of enterprise-wide SDSS. The firstpart of the article discusses the nature of real estate decision making and investment analysis, payingspecial attention to residential real estate. It also reviews different approaches to SDSS development.The second part of the article discusses enterprise-wide information architecture planning and specifiesa conceptual framework for SDSS development. It then discusses issues related to technologytransfer and SDSS implementation.

Knowledge Mining With VxInsight: Discovery ThroughInteraction

The explosive growth in the availability of information is overwhelming traditional information management systems. Although individual pieces of information have become easy to find, the larger context in which they exist has become harder to track. These contextual questions are ideally suited to visualization since the human visual system is remarkably adept at interpreting large quantities of information, and at detecting patterns and anomalies. The challenge is to present the information in a manner that maximally leverages our visual skills. This paper discusses a set of properties that such a presentation should have, and describes the design and functionality of VxInsight, a visualization tool built to these principles.

Detecting Cuts by Understanding Camera Operations for Video Indexing

The emergence of multimedia information, such as video, has presented a problem to traditional information management systems which were not designed to handle media other than standard alphanumeric data. To handle a continuous media such as video, one should segment it into basic units to be used for identification and indexing. The main problem in most existing techniques for locating the boundaries between the basic units or scenes is the selection of thresholds with which the interframe differences are compared. Various changes might happen within a single scene, which include changes occurring as a result of camera operations, object movements, flashes, etc. On the other hand, various similarities between different scenes might occur. Therefore, selection of any threshold value will result in low detection rates due to detecting false cuts or missing true cuts. In this paper we propose a detection mechanism that understands and detects various changes within a scene in order to detect the cuts between different scenes. These cuts may represent sharp or gradual cuts. This mechanism depends on the hue value flow generated as a result of camera operations, object movements or cuts.
