Effect of Capital and Labor on Income in Food Restaurants

Everyone tries in this case to work, nothing but hoping for income, the higher a person's income, the higher the level of welfare of his family members and the more needs and desires can be achieved. Thus today's community members are competing to increase their level of income. Therefore, the community is trying as optimally as possible to fulfill their needs and desires. In achieving these needs and desires, it is carried out with various businesses, such as working in the government sector, private companies, construction workers, farming, trading and other businesses. This study aims to determine and analyze effect of capital and labor on income in food restaurants. This type of research used is quantitative research. Population used for this study is restaurant entrepreneurs in DKI Jakarta Province. Sampling technique uses snowball technique. Hypothesis testing using partial (t) test. The results show that capital has a positive and significant effect on income in food restaurants. Labor has a positive and significant effect on income in food restaurants.

Influence of Financial Management Practices on the Performance of Women Petty Trading in Nasarawa North Senatorial District of Nasarawa State

The main objective of the study was the determination of the role financial management practices play in the performance of petty trading among women in Nasarawa North Senatorial District. Cross-sectional primary data was provided for the study by a random sample of 343 women petty traders across Akwanga, Wamba and Nassarawa Eggon, via a questionnaire survey. The collected data was used in the estimation of an Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression model. The study found that disaggregated financial management practice components of investment appraisal and working capital management exerted positive and significant effect on the performance of women-ran petty trading businesses in the Nasarawa North zone. Therefore, businesses should focus on improving their investment appraisal practices and, women petty traders should manage their working capital more effectively through ensuring that they have enough cash on hand to meet their day-to-day expenses.

Strategi Pengembangan Usaha Pengolahan Gula Aren Perspektif Ekonomi Islam di Desa Kandang Mbelang Kec. Lawe Bulan, Kab. Aceh Tenggara

Sem business competition will rapidly encourage every palm sugar manager to have strategic acumen, so that he excels in competing with his competitors or at least is able to survive to run his business. Therefore, palm sugar managers are not only looking for profit, but are also connected with moral values, it is not justified to take maximum profits without regardto the buyer's condition, as Islam emphasizes that in business trading must be honest, trustworthy, fair and also pay attention to The quality of the raw material for palm sugar must be guaranteed to be halal, for the sake of creating human happiness (falah) and a good life. This study aims to analyze the opportunities and development of the palm sugar business in Kandang Mbelang Mandiri Village, Kec. Moonstone, Kab. Southeast Aceh. The respondents of this study were entrepreneurs managing palm sugar in the village of Kandang Mbelang. Research data obtained by observation and interviews were analyzed descriptively using SWOT analysis, strategy matrix to analyze the strategy determined by the respondents. The results of this study indicate that the IFAS value is 1.447320 and the EFAS value is 2.261670. Therefore the solution obtained for the development of the palm sugar business is to promote products such as on social media, have a brand image, innovate the quality of palm sugar products in the future.

Perancangan Sistem Informasi Pada UMKM Ikan Hias Nusatic

In the trading business world, namely the business of selling a product, many obstacles are found in processing data such as incoming and outgoing goods, because there are still companies that use manual systems that have not been computerized, the data processing system in the business world today is one of the most dominant problems in the business sector engaged in community services. This research aims to simplify the decision-making process so that it can utilize more effective and efficient cost, effort, and time in Nusatic UMKM. By using the prototype method to realize the desired software model, this application can simplify administrative activities which include sales data, purchasing data, and delivery in stages starting from the registration process to payment transactions.

Characteristics and Performance of Family Businesses in Wuse Market, Abuja, FCT Nigeria

The unprecedented uncertainties in the Nigerian business environment is negatively impacting business operations and performance. Yet, literature on the association between business characteristics and the financial and non-financial performance of family trading businesses in the Nigerian context is overtly and seemingly scant. Again, family trading businesses are prevalent in Wuse market; one of the largest markets in Abuja, FCT. Taken together, this study seeks to investigate the effects of business characteristics on the financial and non-financial performance of family trading businesses in the market. A cross-sectional survey research design, and criterion and systematic sampling techniques were adopted to collect data from 211 founder/CEOs and the descendant/CEOs of family trading businesses in the market via questionnaire. The generated data were subjected to linear regression analysis. The results showed positive and significant effects. The study concludes that the computation of the overall performance of the businesses based on financial and non-financial performance measures show higher overall performance than when they are computed using financial performance measures alone. Education of the founder/CEOs and descendant/CEOs on how to keep financial records of business transactions, collect the non-financial data based on the non-financial performance measures, and how to use same for the computation of non-financial performance were recommended. The researcher advocates a replication of the study in other contexts using an expanded scope and qualitative or triangulation method.

Islamic Economic Thought Has Existed Since The Time Of The Prophet Adam Alaihis Salam

Studies on the history of Islamic economics are still very rare, especially the study of Islamic economics before the Nubuwah period or the time of the appointment of the Prophet Muhammad as a Prophet and Apostle. The purpose of this study is to prove that Islamic economic civilization has existed since the time of the Prophet Adam sent by Allah to the earth. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a research library, with a historical methodology approach. The results of the study said that Islamic economic civilization existed long before the Nubuwah era or the time of the appointment of the Prophet Muhammad SAW as a prophet and apostle. At the time of the Prophet Adam, there were very simple economic activities to meet their basic or primary needs. These economic activities are consumption, distribution and production. More and more economic functions were practiced during the time of Noah and Yunus, including the functions of transportation and trade. Even at the time of the Prophet Yusuf, there was already a supply and warehousing function. The time when Prophet Musa carried out economic activities more fully and in detail, namely when Prophet Musa a.s. met with two girls who were queuing to get their cattle to drink and then Prophet Musa offered himself as a representative (wakalah contract) to carry out the duties of the two girls. Furthermore, more intense cooperation in the field of livestock maintenance and development as employees (managers) and shahibul Maal (livestock owners). The economic functions at the time of the Prophet Muhammad were more complete, namely the functions of production, consumption, distribution, human resources and investment. Almost everything was lived by the Prophet Muhammad himself since the age of 8 years. The initial journey that the Prophet Muhammad had carried out was as a deputy at the beginning as a shepherd with a salary system, then as a mudharib in a trading business when the prophet Muhammad was not married, and then after marrying Khadijah the Prophet acted as a shahibul mall and at the same time an investor and this is when the Prophet Muhammad have a lot of time to think about the condition of society, at this time the Prophet had achieved financial freedom or freedom of money

Competencies needs of secondary school teachers for implementation of entrepreneurial business trades curriculum in Adamawa State, Nigeria

The study investigated “Competencies Needs of Secondary Schools Teachers for Implementation of Entrepreneurial Business Trades Curriculum in Adamawa State, Nigeria”. As a guide, two specific objectives, research questions and null hypotheses were raised. Descriptive survey was used for the study. The population of the study was 220 business trade teachers in Adamawa State secondary schools, and Total Population Sample (TPS) was used for the study. A 4-point scale structured questionnaire was used for data collection. The instrument was validated by four experts and pilot study was carried out in Gombe State senior secondary schools to test the validity of the instrument using Cronbach Alpha reliability test which yielded a coefficient of .846. Statistical Package of Social Science (SPSS), 25 was used to process the mean scores and standard deviations for answering the research questions, while the hypotheses were tested using Analysis of Variance at 0.05 level of significant. The study disclosed that Business Trades teachers need competencies in entrepreneurial skills competencies and basic competencies for effective implementation of Entrepreneurial Trade subjects in secondary schools, without which the objectives of the curriculum would not be achieved. The study concluded that, the introduction of Entrepreneurial Business Trade subjects at the secondary school level will not address the problem of unemployment if the situation of the teachers who are responsible for the implementation of the curriculum remained unchanged. Based on these, it was recommended among others that government should organize training sessions for business trade subject teachers, to enable them to acquire the needed competencies for instructional delivery in the secondary schools. It was suggested that Entrepreneurial Business Trade teachers should acquire the two competencies entrepreneurial skills and basic competencies for implementation of entrepreneurial business trades curriculum in the secondary schools, so as to achieve the desired objectives for which the curriculum was developed, that is self-employment, self-reliance and sustenance in all facets of economic, social, political and technological developments.

AbstractThis article explores the relationship between tax law and settler colonialism by looking at the ways in which taxes can be part of the “civilizing” process of Indigenous peoples. In 1921, the Territory of Alaska enacted a “license tax on the business of fur-farming, trapping and trading in pelts and skins of fur-bearing animals.” Since most trappers were Natives, the “fur tax” de facto targeted them. This article unpacks the sociocultural and political dimensions of the fur tax against the backdrop of Alaska’s settler colonial history. Despite what the Alaska attorney general claimed was its “strict” revenue-raising function, the tax was part of a much broader settler colonial agenda. That agenda sought to turn semi-nomadic, “uncivilized” Native hunters into spatially grounded, “civilized” farmers, gardeners, reindeer herders, or wage workers. Ultimately, I suggest, within many if not most settler colonial spaces political and sociocultural ideologies alter the initial revenue-raising function of taxes.

Trade business of etawa crossbred goats in Bangkleyan Village, Jati District, Blora Regency, Indonesia

This study aims to determine the feasibility of a trader of Etawa Crossbred goats in Bangkleyan Village, Jati District, Blora Regency. The population that became the research sample were all traders of Etawa crossbred goats in Bangkleyan Village, totalling five people. Research variables such as trader status, investment capital, costs, income and business financial feasibility are collected through interviews, direct observation and documentation with traders. Business feasibility is measured by profit, B/C ratio and length of return on investment. The study results show that the average: Investment capital is Rp. 36.300.000, costs are Rp. 110.496.126/month and income is Rp. 120.176.000/month. The study concluded that the trading business of etawa crossbred goats in Bangkleyan Village, Jati District, Blora Regency is financially feasible, with an average profit value of traders of IDR 9.679.874, B/C Ratio of 1.08 and return time investment capital for 3.9 months

Petty Trading and Household Livelihood among Women in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State

The main objective of the study was the determination of the impact of petty trading on household livelihood among women petty traders in Akwanga Local Government Area (LGA) of Nasarawa state. This was achieved through two specific objectives – to determine the contributions of women petty trading on household income, and its role in attaining household living standard. The study relied on the use of primary data, obtained from a random sample of 343 women owners of petty businesses in Akwanga. Data was collected through a questionnaire survey involving the administration of copies of a structured questionnaire with closed-ended items forming each variable scale. The collected data was used to estimate a structural model using the PLS-SEM statistical technique, to test the pertinent formulated hypothesis and evaluate variable relationships. The result obtained showed that women petty trading businesses had positive and significant effect on household income and living standard. in Akwanga. It was therefore, recommended that due to the importance of petty trading into our growing economy, government and non-governmental organization should encourage more women to go into trading by supporting them with adequate finances for development and women petty traders need to analyzed the kind of business they want to engage onto so as to reduce the magnitude of certain uncertainty in the future.

Ultra Micro Financing (UMi) and Trade Labor: Impacts on GRDP in the Large Trade and Retail Business Field of Bangka Belitung Islands Province (2017-2022)

Ultra Micro Financing (UMi) aims to provide fast and accessible financing for ultra-micro businesses, fostering government-financed entrepreneurs. UMi Financing’s dominance can influence labor absorption and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in the Large Trade and Retail Business Field. This research analyzes the impact of UMi Financing and Trade Labor Absorption on Trade GRDP in Bangka Belitung Islands Province during 2017-2022. Path analysis measures the direct and indirect effects of UMi Financing on Trade GRDP. The findings reveal that UMi financing affects trade and GRDP in Bangka Belitung Islands Province. However, UMi Financing does not directly influence Trade GRDP when mediated by labor. Moreover, UMi Financing and Trade Labor do not significantly impact the GDP of Large Trade and Retail. Limited labor absorption in the trade sector may be attributed to the relatively small capital or financing provided by UMi. Additionally, the absorption of labor in the trade sector does not significantly affect Trade GRDP in the province, as the gross value added in the Large Trade and Retail sectors is influenced by people’s purchasing power, which is still highly dependent on commodity price fluctuations. To bolster GDP growth in the large trade and retail sectors, the government can encourage the distribution of UMi Financing. UMi Financing Distributors should intensify assistance to scale up debtor’s businesses. Diversifying UMi distribution to sectors beyond wholesale and retail trade can also be explored.

The Role of Chinese Migrants in Vietnam in Promoting Trade between the Port of Ha Tien and International Market in the 17th–18th Centuries

Ha Tien, which covered a vast area of southern Vietnam in the past, was the location of one of the most important Vietnamese trade ports during the 17th and 18th centuries. Owing to the trading expertise of its lord Mac Cuu and the Minh Huong people (descendants of Ming loyalist immigrants who settled in South Vietnam during the 16th and 18th centuries), as well as the strategic vision and open policies of the Nguyen lords, a large trade network was established, connecting Ha Tien with other busy trade ports in Vietnam as well as internationally at that time. This achievement also sprang from the fact that Ha Tien trade port was founded during “the Age of Commerce”, when systems of international seaports were set up and developed vigorously. Although studies on Ha Tien trading port mentioned in Vietnamese and foreign language works, those works just wrote the name of the trade port without going into deep analysis the position and role of the trading port in the regional and international trade system. Therefore, the article focuses on in-depth analysis, clarifying contributions of the port to trade activities of Vietnam and the world in the the 17th and 18th centuries.

Feasibility Analysis Of Cut Flower Trading Business In Bogor City

Cut flower traders in Bogor City have now begun to decline, therefore it is necessary to conduct a feasibility study to find out whether the cut flower trading business in Bogor City provides decent profits or not to be cultivated. The objectives of this study are; to analyze how much income is obtained from the cut flower business in Bogor City, Analyze the feasibility level of the cut flower business in Bogor City. The sampling technique in this study was to use the purposive sampling method, the samples needed in this study were 26 cut flower traders in Bogor City by combining 13 traders in the fostered zone and 13 cut flower traders in the non-assisted zone of the Bogor City Government. The data analysis used in this study is revenue analysis and R/C Ratio (Revenue Cost Ratio). The results of this study show that the income received in one month by cut flower traders in non-fostered zones and traders in fostered zones can be said to be profitable. The feasibility rate (R/C Ratio) of cut interest efforts in non-fostered zones and fostered zones is equally feasible to strive for.

A recent case offers an opportunity to consider two types of impeachable dispositions in insolvency law. One is the transfer of a trader's business under section 34(1) of the Insolvency Act, and the other is the common-law actio Pauliana from which the entire law of impeachable dispositions derives. In the first place, the nature of the application is characterised as an attempt to reverse the transfer of the business and assets. A common feature of section 34(1) and the actio Pauliana is spotted: they straddle sequestration or winding-up. Compliance with sections 34(1) and (2) of the Insolvency Act is discussed, and the trader's celebration of doing so is then ruined by the pervasive menace of the actio Pauliana, the defence of necessity supplying a sword to cut the Gordian knot. The central insight of the judgment about section 34(1) - the relative meaning of the word "void" - is shown to be well-articulated by a widely followed juristic insight into administrative validity. Some of the finer details of the ambit of the word "void" are then teased out. The uneasy relationship between section 34(1) and sections 26, 29, 30, and 31 of the Insolvency Act and the actio Pauliana is explored, and an answer to a dilemma over the application of section 34(1) ventured. As for applying the requirements of the actio Pauliana to the facts, a comprehensive, nuanced approach considering both the two relevant possibilities is proposed, rather than the single choice plumped for in the judgment apparently because it is the more usual one. The closing remarks underline the wisdom of thoroughly planning, discussing, and creating a Plan B for the client in the pleadings and executing the procedural requirements and administration.

Cryptocurrency trading is a very popular business of buying and selling digital money today. Many investors trade cryptocurrency assets through cryptocurrency exchange platforms in the hope of getting a large profit difference. However, the cryptocurrency trading business is not always favourable for investors as choosing the wrong cryptocurrency exchange can result in huge losses from the trades made. Based on these problems, it is necessary to have a decision support system for selecting the most relevant cryptocurrency exchange to be used as a cryptocurrency trading platform that can increase the chances of investors making profits. The decision support system method used in this research is Preference Selection Index (PSI). The results of the selection of cryptocurrency exchanges using the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method in this study recommend Indodax as the most relevant cryptocurrency exchange used by investors to gain profits in running a cryptocurrency trading business because it gets the highest value (0.893662729) compared to 4 other alternatives.

The promotion mix is done through advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations, word of mouth. Marketing strategy for marketing services through the marketing mix at the Islamic educational institution Ar-Rohmah Putri Islamic Boarding School Malang. The marketing mix for educational services includes product, price, location, promotion, people, physical evidence, and process.

Perlindungan Hukum Terhadap Pasar Tradisional Dari Keberadaan Pasar Modern di Kabupaten Jembrana

Jembrana Regency has 26 modern shopping centers spread across five districts. The rapid development of the trading business in the form of modern shops has created new problems for small traders and traders in traditional markets. This study examines how the existence of traditional markets amid the rise of modern markets in Jembrana district, and how legal protection efforts are provided by the Jembrana district government for traditional markets. The legal research method used in this paper is empirical legal research, which focuses on phenomena in people's lives.
 The results of the study found that there were more modern markets than traditional markets, based on this the Jembrana Regency Government issued Regional Regulation of Jembrana Regency Number 8 of 2010 concerning Arrangement and Empowerment of Traditional Markets, Shopping Centers and Modern Shops. This Regency Regional Regulation aims that economic development between traditional markets and modern markets can jointly develop the Jembrana Regency economy in a balanced manner.

Statistical Analysis of Export Waybill Data of Cross-Border E-Commerce Based on ISM Model

Abstract This paper uses the expository structural model (ISM) as the basis for research. Firstly, it briefly analyzes the business structure of our cross-border e-commerce and foreign trade business. The specific organizational structure of the enterprise will encounter a variety of interference. This paper constructs a set of enterprise supply chain performance evaluation indexes based on balanced scoring. The writing improves the information level, logistics ability, customer status maintenance, and other vital links. Simulation results show that this method can improve the overall performance of foreign trade documents.

Pengaruh Kecerdasan dan Literasi Keuangan Terhadap Ketahanan Keuangan UMKM di Sentra Wisata Kuliner Jambangan Surabaya

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of intelligence and financial literacy on the financial resilience of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Jambangan Culinary Tourism Center, Surabaya. This research was conducted on the type of business, namely in the culinary or trading business sector with a sample size of 30 micro, small and medium enterprises. In this study using a quantitative approach method. This study uses multiple linear regression techniques for hypothesis analysis. The results of the study show that intelligence and financial literacy have a high impact of 57,1% on the financial resilience of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Jambangan Culinary Tourism Center, Surabaya.

An enhanced decomposition integration model for deterministic and probabilistic carbon price prediction based on two-stage feature extraction and intelligent weight optimization

Accurately predicting carbon price can promote the rational allocation of carbon resources, reducing carbon emissions and contributing to green development. The decomposition integration framework is widely applied for carbon price forecasting, but several problems remain. Thus, this paper innovatively proposes an enhanced decomposition integration model for deterministic and probabilistic carbon price forecasting, which combines two-stage feature extraction and intelligent weight optimization. In order to decrease the complexity of the data and fully extract the characteristics, two decomposition approaches are utilized. For reconstruction, fuzzy entropy is applied to balance model complexity and computing efficiency. Next, the combination forecasting model based on two deep learning models is built to circumvent the constraints of the single forecasting model, and the cuckoo search optimization method (CS) is utilized to find the weight of the combination model adaptively. Considering the differences in the contributions of each component, the optimal weighting strategy based on CS is then used to derive the final forecast. Ultimately, considering the probability interval can provide more helpful information, the decomposition integration framework is supplemented with Gaussian process regression relying on the mixed kernel function for interval prediction. In an empirical study of five carbon trading markets, the hybrid model developed in this paper exceeded all baseline models regarding prediction stability, proving that the developed model can make effective forecasting for the carbon trading business.
