The development of miniature design of tempe production activities as a flagship souvenir for Sanan Tempe Industry Village aims to enhance tourism appeal and local economic value. This program integrates cultural elements and tempe production processes into educational and aesthetic miniatures. Methods include design research, prototype creation, technical training for local craftsmen, and product evaluation through tourist feedback. Results show a significant increase in tourist interest and satisfaction with tempe miniatures. The implementation of this program is expected to support local cultural promotion and strengthen the economy of Sanan Tempe Industry Village.

Pola Penerapan FRAGGLE dalam Produksi dan Pelatihan Produksi Boardgame sebagai Strategi Peningkatan Wisata Edukasi di Sanan

The application of the FRAGGLE model in boardgame production and production training as a strategy to enhance educational tourism in Sanan aims to integrate education and entertainment through boardgame media. This program utilizes the FRAGGLE model to develop educational and engaging boardgames while involving production training for the local community. Methods include boardgame design and development, technical production training, and effectiveness evaluation through user feedback. Results show significant improvement in production skills and visitor interest in boardgame-based educational tourism. The implementation of this strategy is expected to support the development of innovative educational tourism and empower the local community in Sanan.

Luo Cultural Shrines: The Hembko of Got Ramogi, Kenya

Got Ramogi in Kenya is a hill shrouded with many mysteries and awe-inspiring cultural beliefs and practices. He hill has attracted the interests of archeologists, geologists, historians, ethnographers, foresters, herbalists, worshippers, politicians and tourists in equal measure. Ramogi Ajwang’, the founder father of the Luo nation, is believed to have settled on the strategichill when his people arrived in Kenya through Uganda from the southern Sudan. The objective ofthe study was to establish the number of cultural sites and shrines (hembko) at the hill, the cultural beliefs and practices associated with them, and the spiritual significance of each shrine on the spirituality and he future of the Luo community in Kenya and the diaspora. The information discussed in his paper was obtained through internet library research using the Google search engine. Google is considered to be the most popular and the best search engine due to its advanced algorithms and vast database. The search was able to identify nine (9) cultural shrines or hembko in Dholuo. Each of these shrines had unique name and function in the cultural and spiritual heritage of the people. The Luo offered spotless animal rituals to their God Nyasaye to propitiate or placate the supernatural world for continued prosperity and posterity. Further research should be conducted on Ramogi Hill to discover even more unearthed shrines.

Exploration of Sustainable Potential Sports Tourism in Sumedang, Indonesia Using Multi-Criteria Decision-Making

Objective: This research aims to explore sports tourism, which has the greatest potential for the development of sports tourism, economic quality, regional image and human resources Theoretical Framework: Sport Tourism is a form of special interest tourism in the world of tourism and is widely developed in various regions because it can encourage tourists to visit. Method: The method used in this research is the qualitative method, a Multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) approach withusing the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine potential sport tourism. Criteria AHP using the concepts of Marketability, Sustainability, Participation, and Disaster Mitigation (MSPDM). Results and Discussion: The results of this research, based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis utilizing the MSPDM indicator, the three most promising sports tourism activities among the eight currently operating in Sumedang were identified: paragliding, golf, and rafting. Among these top contenders, paragliding and rafting emerged as priorities for further development. While golf also holds potential, it is managed by a private company, which might limit its reliance on government funding due to its own revenue streams from the resort business. Research Implications: The implications of this research are discussed. The ranking of potential sports tourism activities provides valuable insights for the government in determining which areas to prioritize for development. Originality/Value: This study use A multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) approach, employing the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, was utilized to assess the potential of various sports tourism activities. The AHP criteria were based on the concepts of MSPDM.

Conceptual Analysis of the High-Touch, High-Tech Trend: The Suitability of Technology for Tourism Transformation in Rural Destinations

This research aims to evaluate the role of technology in rural tourism development, focusing on the match between technology and the capabilities of local communities. The method used is a quantitative approach, namely data collection through questionnaires distributed to three groups of respondents: local communities, technology providers and tourists. Two main research questions were identified: (1) Is the technology applied by the community service capacity in the tourist village? (2) How can technology be adapted to the needs of local communities and the experiences tourists desire? The research results show that appropriate technology can improve tourist experiences and empower local communities. However, reliance on technological trends without a strong foundation can decrease tourist interest. Therefore, this research concludes that the application of technology must be based on a deep understanding of the local context to avoid inappropriate investments and maintain tourism sustainability. These findings provide important insights for stakeholders in designing appropriate technology strategies for tourist villages. The Influence of Green Tourism Differentiation and Green Marketing on Tourist Visit Decisions through Visit Interest in Paharangan Village Agrotourism

Indonesia, as a country rich in natural resources and biodiversity, has a great opportunity to develop an environmentally friendly tourism sector. In the last two decades, there has been an increasing interest in tourism development, especially with regard to green tourism. This study aims to empirically test the effect of green tourism differentiation and green marketing on tourists’ decisions to visit certain destinations. The independent variables for this analysis are green tourism differentiation and green marketing. The dependent variable is visit decision. The intervening variable is visit interest. The sample for this research draws from tourists who are visiting or have already visited Paharangan Village Agrotourism. The engineering method, non-probability sampling, was used for the sampling. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires directly to respondents, totalling as many as 130 questionnaires, and multiple linear regression and path analyses were conducted. The results show that while green tourism differentiation and green marketing significantly positively affect visit decision and visit interest of tourists, visit interest does not affect visit decision, and visit interest is not proven as an intervening variable between green tourism differentiation and green marketing on visiting decisions. Morality expression drives favorable consumer outcomes for P2P tour guide: The role of elevation, trust, and enjoyment

The emerging peer-to-peer platforms enable individual tour guides to market themselves via online profiles. Given the growing societal interest in responsible tourism, tour guides can utilize online profiles to communicate responsible tourism endeavors that showcase positive moral character. However, how consumers respond to such expressions of responsible conduct is unknown. Through four experiments, we find that a moral self-description (vs. social or control) elicited higher elevation, further enhancing trust and enjoyment, leading to more favorable consumer responses (i.e., booking intention, willingness to pay, and likelihood to recommend). Thus, the underlying mechanisms are explained by elevation, trust, and enjoyment. Moreover, consumers' self-esteem and tour guides' motives are two boundary conditions. Specifically, positive reactions to the tour guide's morality expression are more pronounced among high self-esteem individuals and when the guide is intrinsically motivated. This research contributes to the literature on P2P tourism services and offers practical implications for tourism providers.

Pemanfaatan Website sebagai Platform Promosi Digital Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Pariwisata Desa Bumiwangi

Bumiwangi Village is one of the tourist villages located in Ciparay District, Bandung Regency, West Java. This tourist village offers a different tourist experience from other villages, namely enjoying the beauty of nature through hang gliding or paragliding sports from the top of Bukit Cula. However, Bumiwangi Village is still not widely recognized by the general public as a tourist destination. This happens because its tourism development still faces obstacles, namely the promotional strategy carried out is still traditional so that Bumiwangi village as a tourist village does not yet have an active promotion that shows the difference between Bumiwangi tourist village and other tourist villages. Even information about Bumiwangi village is still little found on digital platforms. In this study using qualitative research methods. The research approach taken is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research supported by observation and interviews with sources. This research aims to produce an in-depth understanding of the process of creating a website to promote and develop tourist villages. It is hoped that this research can provide important directions and insights for the development of Bumiwangi Tourism Village in terms of effective digital promotion and utilization of tourist interest information to improve the experience and attractiveness of tourist destinations.

Kajian Strategi Promosi Digital Area Peternakan Kawasan Glugur Rimbun Kecamatan Kutalimbaru

The purpose of this study was to determine the public's interest in visiting the Livestock Area of the Glugur Rimbun Area, Sampe Cita Village, Kutalimbaru District, Deli Serdang Regency, through the independent variables of promotion and attractiveness. This Animal Husbandry Area is one of several areas in the Al Amin Science and Industrial Park (Living Lab) Glugur Rimbun Area with a special land area for the Animal Husbandry Area of about two ha from the total area of about 24 (twenty four) ha. The research approach uses quantitative methods involving 100 respondents and data collection using questionnaires. The data obtained was analyzed using multiple regression analysis using SPSS. The results showed that the independent variable promotion showed a t-count value of -0.945 < t-table 1.984 with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that digital-based promotion has a positive and significant effect partially on visiting interest. The test results for the attraction variable show a tcount value of 12.315> t-table 1.984 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that attraction has a positive and significant effect partially on visiting interest. The F-count value of 75.864> F-table of 3.09 and a significant 0.000 <0.05, then digital-based promotion and attractiveness have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on tourist interest in visiting.

The Existence of Batu Bolong Temple in Supporting West Batu Layar as A Marine Tourism Village On Lombok Island, Indonesia

Batu Bolong Temple is a Hindu tourist destination in Batulayar Barat Village, Lombok, Indonesia. Batu Bolong Temple is located in a fairly well-known coastal tourist area on Lombok Island, namely the Senggigi Beach area. The dynamics of the development of Batu Bolong Temple gradually influenced and developed following the conditions of tourism development on Lombok Island. This study aims to examine the existence of Batu Bolong Temple in supporting Batu Layar Barat as a marine tourism village on Lombok Island. This study uses a qualitative method, with interview techniques with several people, tourists, traders, and temple managers, as well as conducting direct observations at the location and literature studies. The study results show that this temple is not only used by Hindus but is also visited by tourists with basic purposes, reasons, and argument factors. The tourist attraction of Batu Bolong Temple is in the form of interesting tourist objects and attractions for tourists to enjoy. The temple manager carries out good management in maintaining the existence of Batu Bolong Temple. Batu Bolong Temple is relevant in supporting Batulayar Barat as a marine tourism village in terms of location, promotion, price, supporting facilities, transportation facilities, infrastructure, and management. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of the findings, it is confirmed that the existence of Batu Bolong Temple can support the development of Batu Layar as a marine tourism village.

Exploring the Cultural Tourism of Malaysia: A Comprehensive Review

In line with the Malaysia Tourism Transformation Strategy in 2020, the government devoted enormous resources to nurture and cultivate the industry to achieve the Tourism of National Key Economic Area (NKEA). This initiative aims at re-invigorating tourism within Malaysia. The unparalleled essence of foreign tourists depends upon culture and the attributes the experience evokes. Generally, tourism choices are more influenced by the cultural part and values of undisguised cultural virtues, whether in the form of tangible or intangible distinctions. Cultural elements direct tourism guidebooks, postcards, pictures, television programs, commercials, posters, and itineraries, etc. Cultural tourism projects can be viewed as a medium to highlight group distinctions. They also serve as tools in teaching, growth, performing economic and tourism roles. The vision and attribute of heritage and culture will signify destinations in the future. The Malaysian Tourism Blueprint (2010-2020) considers cultural tourism as one of the key pivot areas of another NKEA. This article intends to delineate the existing literature pertinent to cultural tourism in Malaysia. The review of the literature attempts to provide an extensive record of the current conceptual insights within the area. Given the immense potential of the country as a culturally rich destination, there is still room for exploring experiences and insights to keep the zeal alive for cultural products of Malaysia. At the top of this, the policy frameworks are geared towards enhancing tourism. As a culturally rich country, Malaysia needs to attract tourist interests to explore and visit Malaysia's roots, its people, and the diverse community that makes Malaysia unique. The findings of this literature review are instrumental in setting the future studies agenda in order to address the existing dearth of the knowledge base.

The Effect of Negative User-Generated Content Reviews in the Form of Testimonials on Interest in Visiting Borobudur Temple, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko Palace

Historical tourism in Indonesia, especially destinations such as Borobudur Temple, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko Palace, has great potential to attract both domestic and international tourists. However, negative reviews that come from user-generated content in the form of testimonials are often a factor that can affect the interest of tourist visits. This study aims to analyze the impact of negative reviews on interest in tourist visits to these historical destinations. This study aims to eval_uate the extent to which negative reviews affect interest in tourist visits to three main cultural destinations in Indonesia: Borobudur Temple, Prambanan Temple, and Ratu Boko Palace. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method by collecting data through a survey of 58 respondents who have visited the three destinations. The data was processed using SPSS software to test the validity, reliability, and influence of negative reviews on the interest of tourist visits. The results of the analysis showed that negative reviews did not significantly affect the interest of tourists visiting Borobudur Temple, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko Palace. All three destinations remain the top choice for tourists, despite the negative reviews, mainly due to their strong historical reputation and visual appeal. This study concludes that negative reviews do not have a significant influence on the interest in tourist visits to the historical destinations of Borobudur, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko Palace. Therefore, destination managers are advised to continue to pay attention to negative reviews as eval_uation material but do not need to worry too much about the impact on tourist visits.

Pengaruh Citra Destinasi, Perceived Value dan Experiental Marketing Terhadap Minat Berkunjung Kembali

Nowadays, many people spend their vacation time traveling to a new destination or a destination that has already been visited. This potential must be used by a destination to increase the interest of tourists to visit again. This research was conducted at Bali Dive Resort and Spa Tulamben which is located in Tulamben village, Karangasem. The purpose of this study was to test and explain the role of destination image, perceived value, experiential marketing on revisit intention in domestic customers of Bali Dive Resort and Spa Tulamben. The sample in this study were 120 respondents. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires via google form. The collected data were analysed by classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the variables of destination image, perceived value, experiental marketing have a significant positive effect on revisit intention. The implications of this research can be taken into consideration and input for Bali Dive Resort and Spa Tulamben in maintaining the revisit intention domestic customers by considering the variables of destination image, perceived value and experiential marketing.

Pengaruh Atraksi Wisata Terhadap Minat Wisatawan Berkunjung Ke Museum Sonobudoyo Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta

Sonobudoyo Museum is a very famous tourist destination and is often visited by tourists who come to Yogyakarta City. This study aims to determine the effect of tourist attractions (X) on visiting interest (Y) at Sonobudoyo Museum, Yogyakarta Special Region. The object of this research is tourists visiting the Sonobudoyo Museum. The method used is quantitative by taking a sample of 100 tourists who have visited the Sonobudoyo Museum. The data collection method uses a questionnaire as primary data. The data analysis technique uses the classical assumption test, namely the normality test and the multicollinearity test, as well as the multiple linear regression analysis test, the coefficient of determination test, the t test, and the f test assisted by the SPSS version 27 application. The results showed that the tourist attraction variable had a positive and significant influence on the interest in visiting the Sonobudoyo Museum. This test was carried out partially by obtaining positive and significant results. In the determination (R-Square) test results obtained 49,8% which indicates that the variable X has an effect on variable Y of 49,8%. While the remaining 50,2% is influenced by other variables. So it can be concluded that tourist attractions influence tourist interest in visiting. Tourist attractions held at the Sonobudoyo Museum include shadow puppet shows, Sonobudoyo cinema, live batik making.

The animo Timpag people in the development of tourism villages in Bali

The goal of this study is to identify possible areas for tourism development in Tabanan Regency, Bali namely in Timpag Village. In Tabanan, It’s a relatively new tourist destination. The success of other tourists villages in Bali seem to inspire the Timpag villagers to enhance their tourism potential. This research aims to reveal the factors that make Timpag villagers interested in building a tourist village and inventory the tourism potential. Therefore, the sample is those selected in Timpag village by purposive sampling. The research was conducted using qualitative methods. Data was gathered through observations and literature reviews. Each data set was analyzed using qualitative techniques. This research found that animo as a social interest is an important factor in the development of tourist villages. The research findings indicate that: First, the Timpag people are eager to develop the village’s tourism potential and have shown social solidarity by prioritizing the creation of tourist infrastructures. Many forms of tourism solidarity were not caused by the role of the pokdarwis. The tourism animo has become a huge internal factor for the Timpag people for their tourism village; Second, Timpag Village has potential for natural tourism, cultural tourism, ecotourism, and special interest tourism. It has developed based on capital and social commitment based on their tourism animo. Some of the tourism potential hasn’t developed optimally due to the lack of support from pokdarwis, resistance from some Timpag communities, and lack of local government assistance for tourism development in Timpag village.

DISCUSSION GUIDE FOR THE PREPARATION OF A VISITOR MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR THE SPECIAL REGION OF YOGYAKARTA

Tourism development is a significant and strategic thing for regional growth. DIY is a popular tourist destination with various elements that continue to develop to attract visitors. The purpose of the implementation of the DIY Tourism Visitor Management Plan Preparation activity is to collect information on tourism products from various parties and dialogue with stakeholders to design a tourism visitor management plan in the region. The purpose of Community Service Activities with the Preparation of Visitor Management Plans in Yogyakarta is to achieve structured visitor management in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The heads of the DIY tourism office, hotel, restaurant, and tourist attraction managers gave a positive response to the guidelines for discussing the visitor management plan in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Arousing the interest of tourists, both domestic and foreign, by creating a safe, comfortable, and secure environment for visitors to tourist sites in Yogyakarta.

Developing Madrasah Tourism Experience Model: Examining Tourist Psychological Variables through Systematic Literature Review

This study investigates the Madrasah Tourism Experience Model (MTEM), focusing on its role in understanding the complex interplay between cultural, psychological, and environmental factors in Madrasah tourism. Despite increasing interest in religious and cultural tourism, there is a significant research gap regarding the specific experiences and psychological impacts of visiting Madrasahs. This research addresses this gap by examining key psychological variables influencing tourists’ experiences in these settings. Using a systematic literature review (SLR) methodology, the study analyses 16 carefully selected articles from 327,715 papers to construct a comprehensive model. It highlights how social interaction, cultural engagement, novelty, pleasantness, and relaxation contribute to the tourist experience. The findings extend existing theoretical frameworks by exploring how cultural exchange and hospitality within Madrasah tourism can enhance psychological well-being and satisfaction. Key findings indicate that Madrasah tourism can be significantly improved through tailored experiences, such as guided tours and interactive exhibits, and by creating serene, immersive environments. This approach reaffirms established theories and introduces new insights specific to Madrasah tourism. The implications are significant for both academic researchers and tourism practitioners. The MTEM offers practical guidelines for enhancing visitor experiences and promoting sustainable tourism practices. By integrating cultural exchange and environmental stewardship, Madrasahs can provide more engaging and satisfying experiences, fostering long-term visitor loyalty and contributing to cultural and religious tourism.

Analisis Penerapan Inovasi Digital pada Pariwisata Berkelanjutan di Kabupaten Semarang

Semarang Regency is one of Central Java's leading tourist destinations with the attraction of Gedong Songo Temple and Rawa Pening. In addition, Semarang Regency also has other tourism wealth in the form of 51 interesting tourist attractions and 55 tourist villages that are always active and continuously developed. Sustainable digital innovation helps to apply the latest digital technology to achieve creative solutions that will address long-term social, economic, and environmental problems. This study aims to determine the urgency and application of digital innovation in sustainable tourism in Semarang Regency. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through triangulation techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity was tested through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative methods starting from the pre-field stage, while in the field, until after the field activities were completed. The results show that the main implementation of Digital Innovation in Semarang Regency is the implementation of APIKS by the Tourism Office. However, there are challenges regarding technology adoption by local communities and the need for ongoing training, which require further attention from various relevant parties. This research is expected to provide an overview and serve as an evaluation of the importance of digital innovation in sustainable tourism management and suggests that local governments offer greater support in the form of policies and training programs to improve community digital skills. Future research can further explore the long-term impact of digital innovation on the social and environmental aspects of tourism.

The Influence of Price and Location on Foreign Tourists' Purchase Interest at Fairfield by Marriott Bali Kuta Sunset Road

This study aims to determine the effect of price and location on the purchase interest of foreign tourists at Fairfield by Marriott Bali Kuta Sunset Road. The population in this study were foreign tourists who had an interest in staying at Fairfield by Marriott Bali Kuta Sunset Road. The data analysis techniques used in this study were Multiple Linear Regression, t-test, f-test and Determination Coefficient using the SPSS application. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the t-value> t-table = 5.521> 1.660 and the significance value <α = 0.00 <0.05 so it can be concluded that price and location have a positive and significant effect on the purchase interest of foreign tourists at Fairfield by Marriott Bali Kuta Sunset Road. Price and location have a strong influence on the dependent variable, namely the purchase interest of foreign tourists. When price and location have a strong influence, the purchase interest of foreign tourists will increase. The suggestion that can be given by the researcher is that Fairfield by Marriott Bali Kuta Sunset Road is expected to maintain the quality of products and services and maintain security around the hotel location and add shuttle car facilities to attract tourists' purchase interest.

The Role of Creative Economics in Sei Nagalawan Mangrove Ecotourism Sector

Sei Nagalawan Village in Serdang Bedagai Regency, Indonesia, utilizes the mangrove ecosystem for economic benefits through creative activities and fishing. However, long-term use raises ecological and social problems, requiring a balance between conservation and development. This post-positivism-based study explores the transformation of Sei Nagalawan into an ecotourism center, involving stakeholders such as local government, ecotourism managers and the media. Drone mapping reveals a variety of attractions at Mangrove Beach, but challenges such as marketing, infrastructure problems and limited shrimp cultivation skills hinder community empowerment. This program, led by the Muara Baimbai Mangrove Conservation Group, aims to increase capabilities, improve economic prosperity and environmental awareness. Identified weaknesses indicate low awareness and support. Opportunities arise from tourist interests, but threats arise from waste problems and conflicts of interest. The strategy includes mangrove management, conservation, online promotion and education, aiming to achieve a balance between conservation and economic activities, while recognizing existing challenges and the need for sustainable efforts
