The purpose of this research is to study the factors affecting cloud computing adoption. This study used the technology-organisation-environment TOE framework as a baseline for the factors affecting cloud computing adoption. The specific factors in the TOE framework are relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, organisational readiness, top management support, competitive pressure, and business partner pressure. An online-based survey was employed to collect data from 106 IT managers, IT consultants, and IT professionals working in Saudi organisations. Using binary logistic regression analysis, the results revealed that top management is positively and significantly associated with the likelihood of cloud computing adoption. The findings offer organisations and cloud computing service providers with better understanding of factors affecting the adoption of cloud computing.
