Supersymmetrization of the six-dimensional anomaly-free E 6 × E 7 × U(1) theory with Lorentz Chern-Simons term

The six-dimensional gravitational and gauge anomaly-free E 6 × E 7 × U(1) theory requires change of the three-form field strength H by an additional Lorentz Chern-Simons three-form. The action with this modification by Randjbar-Daemi, Salam, Sezgin and Strathdee is supersymmetrized to linear order in the Noether expansion parameter γ without H. The equations of motion to this order are satisfied by monopole compactifications.

Supersymmetrization of N=1 ten-dimensional supergravity with Lorentz Chern-Simons term.

The N-italic = 1 ten-dimensional supergravity with a Lorentz Chern-Simons term is supersymmetrized to the first order of the Noether expansion parameter ..gamma.. without a three-form field strength H-italic.

Superspace formulation of ten-dimensional N=1 supergravity coupled to N=1 super Yang-Mills theory.

We present an on-shell superspace formulation of ten-dimensional N=1 supergravity coupled to N=1 super Yang-Mills theory. The coupling is completely specified in superspace by the Bianchi identity dH=${c}_{1}$tr${F}^{2}$, where H is the gauge-invariant three-form field strength of supergravity and F is the two-form super Yang-Mills field strength. We also briefly discuss the theory that results from modifying this Bianchi identity by the addition of a piece proportional to the square of the super curvature two-form.

A supersymmetric R2-action in six dimensions and torsion

The superconformal extension of ( R μvab ) 2 is given in six dimensions. It is shown that in a superconformal gauge the three-form field H μvp has a natural torsion interpretation. Also partial results are given on the superconformal extension of the Gauss-Bonnet combination: R μvab 2−4 R μa 2 + R 2.
