Ozet Amac. Kesitsel olarak planlanan bu arastirmanin amaci, ogrencilerin yaparken karsilastiklari guclukleri saptamaktir. Yontem. Arastirmanin evrenini, Cumhuriyet Universitesi tip, dis hekimligi, hemsirelik ve ebelikte bitirme tezi hazirlayan tum ogrenciler (n=220) olusturmustur. Arastirmada veriler bes alt boyuttan olusan Likert tipinde hazirlanan bir anket formu ile toplanmistir. Anket formunun Cronbach alpha katsayisi 0,8590'dir Calismada anketlere cevap verme orani %79'dur. Bulgular. Calismaya katilan ogrencilerin yas ortalamasi 23,7±1,82 olup, ogrencilerin %43,7'sini tip fakultesi ogrencileri olusturmaktadir. Tum ogrencilerin %77,0'si tez yapmanin gerekli olmadigini belirtirken, bu oran tip ogrencilerinde %96,1'dir. Tez yaparken danismanlikla ilgili surecte en fazla gucluk yasayan grup, tip ve dis hekimligi ogrencileri iken (p<0,001), ebelik ogrencilerinin grup calismasi ile ilgili alanda diger gruplara gore daha fazla gucluk yasadigi saptanmistir (p<0,05). Ogrencilerin anketten aldiklari toplam puan ortalamalarinin bolumlerine gore dagiliminda ise sirasiyla ebelik ve tip ogrencilerinin toplam puan ortalamasi diger gruplara gore yuksektir (p<0,001). Yabanci dil duzeyini iyi degil olarak niteleyenler ile tez yapmayi gereksiz bulan ogrencilerin, tez yapma surecinde daha fazla gucluk yasadigi saptanmistir (p<0,001). Sonuc. Tez yapma surecinde ogrencilerin farkli alanlarda guclukler yasadiklari saptanmistir. Anahtar sozcukler: Bitirme tezi, universite ogrencisi, guclukler Abstract Aim. The aim of this cross-sectional study was to determine the difficulties of students while writing a graduation thesis. Materials. The universe of the research was all the students writing a graduation thesis in Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing and Midwifery Schools (n=220). The response rate of the study was 79%. Data collection tool was a Likert type questionnaire consisting of five subgroups. The Cronbach Alpha Coefficient was 0.8590. Results. The mean age of the students was 23.7±1.82 and 43.7% of the students were medical students. It was determined that 77% of the students, and 96.1% of the medical students didn't think that writing a graduation thesis is necessary (p<0.001). Medical and dentistry students had experienced more difficulties in the supervisory -advisory process (p<0.001), and the midwifery students in the group working process (p<0.05). The mean point of the midwifery and medicine students were higher than the other groups. It was found that those who defined their foreign language skills and abilities as good and those who thought that writing a graduation thesis is not necessary, experienced more difficulties than the other students (p<0.001).
