A hybrid thermo-mechanical phase-field model for anisotropic brittle fracture

The phase-field modeling approach is integrated with the isogeometric-meshfree approach to investigate the coupled thermo-mechanical fracture behaviors of composite materials, accounting for material anisotropy. The present approach is formulated within a thermodynamic framework, exploring the effects of both thermal and mechanical factors on crack evolution. The crack driving force in composites is determined by the collective contributions from both fibers and the matrix. Moreover, a hybrid computational framework, enhanced with an adaptive mesh refinement technique, is proposed for the efficient implementation of thermo-mechanical fracture. Finally, simulations of the thermal deformation and fracture processes in both homogeneous and composite materials are implemented to verify the present approach. The impact of the weak material anisotropy, such as anisotropic thermal conductivity and material strength, along with the strong anisotropy coefficient on fracture patterns in orthotropic composites is also investigated. The simulation results demonstrate that the developed approach can predict complex failure patterns in composites under thermo-mechanical loading, thus offering insights for the design of composites.

Impact of Moving Walls and Entropy Generation on Doubly Diffusive Mixed Convection of Casson Fluid in Two-Sided Driven Enclosure.

In this study, numerical simulations are conducted with the goal of exploring the impact of the direction of the moving wall, solute and thermal transport, and entropy production on doubly diffusive convection in a chamber occupied by a Casson liquid. Wall movement has a significant impact on convective flow, which, in turn, affects the rate of mass and heat transfer; this sparked our interest in conducting further analysis. The left and right (upright) walls are preserved with constant (but different) thermal and solutal distributions, while the horizontal boundaries are impermeable to mass transfer and insulated from heat transfer. Numerical solutions are acquired using the control volume technique. Outcomes under a variety of Casson fluid parameters, including Ri, Gr, buoyancy ratio, and direction of the moving wall(s), are explored, and the influences of entropy generation are comprehensively investigated. While the flow field consists of a single cell in case I, it is dual-cellular in case III for all values of the considered parameters. Comparing the three cases, the average heat and mass transport presented lower values in case III due to the movement of an isothermal (left) wall against the buoyant force, while these values are enhanced in case I. The obtained results are expected to be useful in thermal engineering, material, food, and chemical processing applications.

The paper is devoted to the current problem of reducing the percentage of defective products produced at serial steelmaking plants. To study the patterns of defect formation, a neural network was created that predicts the formation of defects such as “crack” in castings produced by the open-hearth method. To train the neural network, statistical data on the chemical composition of ore raw materials and the corresponding values of the percentage of defects were used. The data was taken under the conditions of an ongoing serial production process, which led to a high degree of noise in the information both on the chemical composition of the ore raw material and on the mechanical properties based on the results of its heat treatment. Outliers of statistical information were detected and removed using the original author’s neural network technique. A neural network model for controlling thermophysical and chemical-energy-technological processes of thermal processing of ore raw materials was created on the basis of a perceptron-type neural network with sigmoid activation functions. By conducting virtual computer experiments on a neural network model, some important dependences of the probability of formation of the defects under study on the content of manganese, phosphorus, silicon, chromium and sulfur were identified. Based on the identified dependencies, practical recommendations have been developed to reduce the percentage of defects by adjusting the chemical composition of ore raw materials. Despite the relatively low accuracy of the developed neural network model, the application of the practical recommendations obtained made it possible to reduce the percentage of defective products manufactured in a large-scale production process by 2.51 times.

Results of experimental studies of microwave processing of biological substrates in a hybrid microwave electrotechnological installation

The creation of a hybrid microwave electrotechnological installation for microwave processing of biological substrates will significantly increase both the economic and energy efficiency of the installation, due to the simultaneous thermal and non-thermal processing of materials. In a microwave electrotechnological installation, it is possible to process two or more types of products with improved qualities, as a result of which it is possible to significantly increase profits at the same energy costs. The work presents a hybrid microwave electrotechnological installation, in which it is possible to carry out microwave processing of organic materials of plant origin, as well as agricultural crops. A general view of the hybrid microwave electrotechnological installation and its mathematical model are presented. The results of experimental studies of the modes of microwave processing of organic materials of plant origin in a microwave electrotechnological installation are presented. As a result of microwave processing of organic materials of plant origin, as well as agricultural crops, in a hybrid microwave electrotechnological installation, their processing time is significantly reduced, while ensuring the required quality of the dried material.

Propagation of generalized multi-Gaussian correlated Schell-model beams in electromagnetically induced transparency atomic vapor

Propagation of generalized multi-Gaussian correlated Schell-model (GMGCSM) beams through four-level electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) atomic vapor is investigated for the first time. Analytical expression for the GMGCSM beam passing through an ABCD optical system of EIT vapor is deduced and employed to analyze its propagation properties. It is demonstrated that intensity evolution of the targeted GMGCSM beam through EIT atomic vapor is dependent on the coupling Rabi frequency of the control light, the beam index and coherence length. Moreover, analysis shows that degree of coherence of the beam can also be regulated by the coupling Rabi frequency. Additionally, it is shown that, selecting appropriate coherence length, GMGCSM beams of the first kind would form a shift from a dark-centered distribution known as “optical cage”, to a peak-centered distribution; GMGCSM beams of the second kind would shift from a flat-topped distribution to a Gaussian distribution. Therefore, EIT atomic vapor provides a method to regulate the coherence of partially coherent beams. Results obtained here could be expected applications in free-space optical communications, material thermal processing, and optical trapping.

Effect of microwave radiation temperature and content of different solid waste on the microstructure and physicomechanical properties of lightweight aggregates

Microwave radiation in the production of lightweight aggregates, it has not yet been thoroughly explored. Therefore, the main goal of the research is to analyze the possibility of using various types of waste, such as waste rock (0–30 %) and glass cullet (10 %), fly ash (50–80 %) and waste solution using different microwave temperature (1000, 1050, 1100 °C) in order to obtain lightweight aggregates. Above factors and, chemical and mineral composition of the waste materials, affect the microstructure and physico-mechanical parameters of the aggregates.). The thermophysical behavior (DTG/TG), grain composition, chemical composition (XRF), phase composition (XRD) and microstructure (SEM, μ-CT) were analyzed. The microstructure, as well as the related characteristics of aggregates, i.e. water absorption, density, and compressive strength, depend on the sintering temperature, chemical composition and mineral waste raw material. The best properties were obtained for a raw material mixture containing 80 % coal fly ash, 10 % glass cullet, 10 % clay and 48 g of the waste solution (per 100 g of raw mixture), sintered in the microwave at 1100 °C. The aggregates were characterized by water absorption of 6.96 %, bulk of 1.70 g/cm3, loose bulk density 0.60 g/cm3, and compressive strength 5.95 MPa. Closed porosity determined by micro-CT was 8.41 %, open - 0.24 %, sphericity 0.62. The total porosity depends on the loose bulk density and particle density of lightweight aggregates.Furthermore, washout tests meet environmental requirements. The proposed technology, moreover, enables a short time of thermal processing of raw materials, and thus energy savings and a sustainable approach to the production of green pellets. Thanks to the high strength, the obtained aggregates can replace commercial aggregates.

Stretching/shrinking impact on the transient heat transfer in a radial moving porous fin of a longitudinal trapezoidal structure

The prime goal of the current pagination is to scrutinize the transient thermal response in a radial porous moving fin of a longitudinal trapezoidal structure. The solution of the constructed problem is heeded by a pdepe solver in Matlab, which works on the centered-finite difference technique. Darcy’s model is utilized to investigate porous nature. A stretching/shrinking mechanism has been incorporated to improve the fin efficiency. Stretching reduces efficiency, whereas shrinking improves fin efficiency indicating major benefits of fin design consideration. The relevant temperature results are shown visually and discussed quantitatively in detail to evaluate the competence of the suggested fin. With a rise in the Peclet number, temperature distribution decreases. A similar nature is noted with respect to the power index of convective heat transfer coefficient, convection and radiation parameters, porous parameter, stretching/shrinking parameter, and thermal conductivity gradient with temperature. The graphical outcomes also show that the fin temperature amplifies with the ambient temperature parameter. Also, it is noticed that thermal distribution is a decreasing function of the power index of the convective heat transfer coefficient such that there is a decrease of 1.64% in temperature distribution as the power index increases. To support the validity of the solutions, a comparison was made with notable results from the existing literature for the specific case of this study. The novelty of the work is to study highly nonlinear boundary value problems and such nonlinearities are more relevant in the system that describes the thermal processing of materials. It is also noted that initial transient heat transfer vanishes quickly under steady-state conditions when the material is exposed to the ambient temperature.

Use of heat recovery technology to increase thermal efficiency of rotary furnaces

The article considers the problem of increasing the energy efficiency of rotary kilns, which are used in various industries for thermal processing of materials, such as metallurgical, chemical, construction, electrode and others. The source of heat for the kilns is gaseous fuel, which is supplied through special burners located at one end of the cylinder. The material for processing is loaded at the opposite end and moves towards the burner due to the force of gravity and rotation of the kiln. One of the important aspects of operating rotary kilns is energy efficiency, which depends on many factors and generally characterizes the degree of use of heat from fuel for heating the material. However, a significant part of the heat from fuel is lost through the kiln shell, which leads to an increase in fuel consumption and a decrease in kiln productivity. Therefore, it is necessary to look for ways to reduce heat losses and use part of the heat for other purposes. In this context, heating secondary air can be one of the important methods for increasing the thermal efficiency of rotary kilns, especially for kilns that operate in a mode for pyrolysis firing of materials such as coal, wood, peat, etc. The aim of the work is to increase the energy efficiency of a rotary kiln using a spiral heat exchanger, using the heat from the external shell of the kiln to heat secondary air. The paper proposes the use of a sectional heat exchanger, which can perform the functions of a cooler, a thermal insulator and a regulator of temperature regimes of the kiln. The heat exchanger consists of several sections that are attached to the outer surface of the kiln shell and have channels for air passage. The air is heated by contact with the hot shell and then supplied to the burner as secondary air. Thus, the heat exchanger allows to reduce the temperature of the shell and provide an additional source of hot air. A mathematical model for numerical calculation of a spiral heat exchanger has been developed, which allows to evaluate its thermal and temperature characteristics. It is shown that by using the heat from the shell it is possible to heat secondary air to a temperature of 270 °C in an amount sufficient to ensure the operation of the burner. An analysis of the location of the heat exchanger and the use of insulation coating has been carried out, which made it possible to significantly reduce its size without changing the total thermal effect compared to a heat exchanger installed along the entire length of the kiln shell. The effectiveness of using thermal insulation has been shown, which makes it possible to increase the temperature of air by 50 °C with its thickness 7 mm. The obtained results can be useful for further development and optimization of projects aimed at improving heat exchange systems and efficient use of thermal resources in rotary kilns.

Radiative Jeffrey fluid transport over a stretching surface with anomalous heat and mass flux

As a means of influencing technological advancements in engineering applications and various fluid products, the generalized Fourier’s and Fick’s models have proven to be of great importance. Industries such as power station engineering, high thermal material processing, and bio-heat elements apply the concept of anomalous heat and mass transfer mechanism. The objective of this study is to stimulate the flow of a radiative magnetohydrodynamics Jeffery fluid over an expanding surface with anomalous heat and mass transfer dynamics subjected to nth order reaction and variable thermophysical properties. A set of similarity transformations is used to neutralize the governing equations into a nondimensionless form. To obtain the model parametric analysis, a numerical tool via the spectral local linearization method (SLLM) is deployed after transformation of the governing flow equation from a two-unknown partial differential equations to a one-variable ordinary differential equation. It is observed that the thermal boundary layer thickness is found to be enhanced with increasing parametric values of magnetic, Eckert and radiation parameters. For the radiation parameter [Formula: see text], the skin drag force, Nusselt and Sherwood number increase by [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text], respectively. Additionally, a [Formula: see text] increment in the nth order parameter boosts the rate of heat transfer by [Formula: see text] while it downsizes the Sherwood number by [Formula: see text].

The flow behavior and constitutive equation of (Al3Ti+Al2O3)/2024Al composites during hot compression

In this study, Al3Ti and nano-Al2O3 co-reinforced aluminum matrix composites were prepared in situ autogenously using TiO2 and Al alloys as raw materials. The high-temperature compression properties of the composites were tested at temperatures ranging from 300 to 500 °C and strain rates ranging from 0.0014 s−1 to 0.42 s−1. Excellent high-temperature properties were demonstrated due to the presence of a large amount of Al3Ti and nano-Al2O3 high-temperature phases in the composites. The peak compressive stress of (Al3Ti+Al2O3)/2024Al composites gradually decreases with increasing temperature and increases with increasing strain rate. The study also calculated the deformation activation energy of the composites and the intrinsic structure model during hot compression. This is a guideline for obtaining the material thermal processing conditions of new composites with excellent high-temperature properties.

Spatial distribution of isotopes and compositional mixing in the inner protoplanetary disk

The mass-independent isotopic signatures of planetary bodies have been widely used to trace the mixing process that occurred during planet formation. The observed isotopic variations among meteorite parent bodies have been further linked to the modeled mass-weighted mean initial semimajor axes in N-body simulations, assuming a spatial isotopic gradient in the inner protoplanetary disk. However, nucleosynthetic isotopic anomalies of nonvolatile elements and mass-independent oxygen isotopic variation (∆17O) show different relationships with distance from the Sun. Therefore, it is crucial to know whether isotopes were distributed systematically with heliocentric distance in the inner protoplanetary disk. In this study, we performed N-body simulations on compositional mixing during the collisional accretion and migration of planetary bodies to investigate the spatial distributions of Cr and O isotopes in the inner protoplanetary disk. The modeled mass-weighted mean initial semimajor axes of the parent bodies of noncarbonaceous (NC) meteorites and terrestrial planets were used to calculate the isotopic compositions of these bodies. Our simulations successfully reproduced the observed nucleosynthetic Cr isotopic anomaly among Earth, Mars, and the NC meteorite parent bodies, consistent with a spatial gradient of isotopic anomalies in the inner disk. Asteroids originating from different regions in the inner disk were transported to the main belt in our simulations, resulting in the Cr isotopic anomaly variation of the NC meteorite parent bodies. However, the ∆17O distribution among the terrestrial planets and the NC meteorite parent bodies could not be reproduced assuming a ∆17O gradient in the inner protoplanetary disk. The spatial gradient of the nucleosynthetic isotopic anomaly may be a result of changing isotopic compositions in the infalling materials, or reflect the progressive thermal processing of presolar materials. In contrast, the absence of a ∆17O gradient reflects that the oxygen isotopic mass-independent fractionation might have altered the spatial distribution of the nucleosynthetic ∆17O variation in the inner protoplanetary disk before protoplanets formed.

Process Development of Zirconolite Ceramics for Pu Disposition: Use of a CuO Sintering Aid

Zirconolite-structured ceramics are candidate wasteform materials for the immobilisation of separated Pu. Due to the refractory properties of zirconolite and other titanates, removing residual porosity remains challenging in the final wasteform product when utilising a conventional solid state sintering route. Herein, we demonstrate that the addition of CuO as a sintering aid increases densification and promotes grain growth. Moreover, zirconolite phase formation was enhanced at lower process temperatures than typically required (≥1350 °C). CuO addition allowed an equivalent density to be reached using process temperatures of 250 °C lower than the undoped composition. At 150 °C lower than the undoped zirconolite, the addition of CuO resulted in a favourable microstructure and phase assemblage, as confirmed via X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. Secondary phases of CaTiO3 and Ca0.25Cu0.75TiO3 were observed at some processing temperatures, which may prove deleterious to wasteform performance. The use of a CuO sintering aid provides an avenue for the further development of the thermal processing of ceramic wasteform materials.

Optimal control of thermal and wave processes in composite materials

The paper indicates the approach and the corresponding to it method of penalty functions for analyzing the problems of optimal control of thermal and wave processes in structural elements made of composite materials (composites). An object that is quite common in the industrial sphere, the structure of which is a set of layers (phases) of unidirectional composites — layered composites, is considered. When solving problems related to the analysis and description of the states of composites, quantitative characteristics of layers that are not functions of the coordinates of the points of the medium are usually used in order not to solve the corresponding problems for an inhomogeneous medium. Such functions are elements of Sobolev spaces, first of all, functions summable with a square. The convenience lies in the fact that when finding the conditions for solvability of initial-boundary value problems of various types (in most cases, such problems are the basis of mathematical models of many physical processes), it is possible to reduce to operator-difference systems, for which it is easy to construct a priori estimates of weak solutions. The next step after establishing the weak solvability of the initial-boundary value problem of the thermal or wave process in composites is the formulation and solution of the problem of optimal control of these processes. The proposed method of penalty functions on the example of solving such problems is a general method. It is applicable with slight modifications also not only in the case of elliptic, parabolic and other problems (including nonlinear) for scalar functions, but also for vector functions. An example of the latter is the Navier–Stokes system, widely used in the description of network-like hydrodynamic processes, considered in Sobolev spaces, the elements of which are functions with carriers on n-dimensional network-like domains, n greater or equal to 2.

Computer Simulation to Determine LHP of 4 Different Types of Transient Industrial Quenched Molybdenum Steel Bars

Simulation of hardness distribution in quenched specimens has been investigated using three-dimensional finite-element (FE) analyses which reduced into a 2-dimensional axisymmetric analysis based on Ansys Software capable of predicting temperature history; evolution hardness of four different types of Molybdenum steel bars during thermal processing of materials in quenching process is presented. The Jominy test results are used to estimate specimen hardness. specimen points hardness used to be determined through conversion of evaluated characteristic cooling time for phase transformation t8/5 into hardness. The lowest hardness point (LHP) of each quenched Molybdenum steel bar has been determined to be in mid its length in the center. Experimentally, it is quite impossible to determine this hardness value, and earlier approaches could only assess surface hardness. Normally, this value of hardness at the surface is greater than (LHP), that, under certain conditions might lead to component failure and deformation. The model can be employed to establish a cooling method to attain the required microstructure as well as mechanical properties, which include hardness.

AC/DC Thermal Nano-Analyzer Compatible with Bulk Liquid Measurements

Nanocalorimetry, or thermal nano-analysis, is a powerful tool for fast thermal processing and thermodynamic analysis of materials at the nanoscale. Despite multiple reports of successful applications in the material sciences to study phase transitions in metals and polymers, thermodynamic analysis of biological systems in their natural microenvironment has not been achieved yet. Simply scaling down traditional calorimetric techniques, although beneficial for material sciences, is not always appropriate for biological objects, which cannot be removed out of their native biological environment or be miniaturized to suit instrument limitations. Thermal analysis at micro- or nano-scale immersed in bulk liquid media has not yet been possible. Here, we report an AC/DC modulated thermal nano-analyzer capable of detecting nanogram quantities of material in bulk liquids. The detection principle used in our custom-build instrument utilizes localized heat waves, which under certain conditions confine the measurement area to the surface layer of the sample in the close vicinity of the sensing element. To illustrate the sensitivity and quantitative capabilities of the instrument we used model materials with detectable phase transitions. Here, we report ca. 106 improvement in the thermal analysis sensitivity over a traditional DSC instrument. Interestingly, fundamental thermal properties of the material can be determined independently from heat flow in DC (direct current) mode, by using the AC (alternating current) component of the modulated heat in AC/DC mode. The thermal high-frequency AC modulation mode might be especially useful for investigating thermal transitions on the surface of material, because of the ability to control the depth of penetration of AC-modulated heat and hence the depth of thermal sensing. The high-frequency AC mode might potentially expand the range of applications to the surface analysis of bulk materials or liquid-solid interfaces.

S‐band elliptical–cylindrical cavity resonator for material processing

AbstractThe development of an elliptical–cylindrical cavity for microwave thermal processing of materials at high electric field strengths is reported. The design methodology based on numerical modeling is validated by experimental measurements. The system can create high‐power densities in the heated phases, excellent treatment uniformity, and stable operation without degenerated modes or polarization rotation as suffered by other commonly used circular resonator cavities.

Comparative Study of Plasma Torch Characteristics Using Air and Carbon Dioxide

The plasma torch is the key component of the thermal plasma-assisted material processing system. Particularly, direct current (dc) nontransferred arc plasma torch is widely used in high-temperature material processing applications. The characteristics of the thermal plasma jet emanating from the plasma torch depend on many factors, including arc current, type of plasma forming gas, gas flow rates, gas injection configuration, torch geometry, and so on. This experimental study focuses on the comparison between the effects of CO <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</sub> and air on the arc voltage, electrothermal efficiency, and specific enthalpy of the plasma torch operated at the atmospheric pressure. For this purpose, a low-power dc plasma torch consisting of a rod-type thoriated tungsten cathode and the copper anode was customized. CO <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</sub> and air were used as the plasma forming gases along with a feeble amount of argon (15 lpm). The plasma torch was operated over a wide range of current (100–175 A) with fixed gas flow rates. The <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$I$ </tex-math></inline-formula> – <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$V$ </tex-math></inline-formula> characteristics and the electrothermal efficiency of the plasma torch were measured, and results were compared. The maximum electrothermal efficiency and specific enthalpy of the plasma torch when operated with CO <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</sub> were reported as 70% and 1900 KJ/Kg, respectively, which is higher than the same torch operated with air as the plasma forming gas. The electron number density and electron temperature of the air and CO <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</sub> plasma jet were measured by optical emission spectroscopy (OES). The calculated electron number density and electron temperature of the plasma jet with CO <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</sub> were <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$2.89\times 10\,\,^{\mathrm{ 16}}$ </tex-math></inline-formula> cm <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">−3</sup> and 8598 K, respectively, which is higher than air plasma jet. It was found that CO <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</sub> has a stronger influence than air on the arc voltage fluctuation, electrothermal efficiency, and operating regime of the plasma torch.

Three-dimensional phase-field modeling of temperature-dependent thermal shock-induced fracture in ceramic materials

Current theoretical and experimental methods cannot fully reveal the mechanisms of the rapid and complex thermal shock-induced crack initiation and propagation processes in ceramic materials. Herein, a three-dimensional (3D) coupled thermo-mechanical phase-field model (PFM) is developed for thermal shock-induced fracture with the consideration of the temperature dependence of material properties. Compared with other PFMs, the present model can eliminate the unexpected damage evolution at the initially intact area of materials by introducing a temperature-dependent fracture energy threshold. Both the two-dimensional (2D) and 3D phase-field modeling results of thermal shock-induced fracture show strong agreement with the experimental results. The net-like topologies of thermal shock-induced cracks on the specimen surfaces are captured. Specifically, the crack topologies on the bottom surface (i.e., the first part submerged in water) are significantly different from those on the top surface in 3D cases. These essential findings reveal the mechanism that the tensile part of the strain energy mainly dominates the thermal shock-induced cracking in ceramics.

Numerical simulation of a non-linear nanofluidic model to characterise the MHD chemically reactive flow past an inclined stretching surface

A computational approach is delineated for mass and heat transport enhancement/reduction process to control the drift of nanofluid. The fluid is drifting on the inclined stretched surface. This numerical study demands the resolution of fundamental (conservation momentum, mass transfer, and energy) equations and for which computational proficiency is a challenge. The time-dependent concentration and temperature on the periphery, together with stretched velocity, are the basis of the transient mixed convective laminar nanofluid flow. A similar transformations technique is imposed to adopt a system of time dominated non-linear fundamental equations and transformed it into a differential equation of the ordinary system. It is solved computationally by utilising the scheme of Nactsheim–Swigert shooting along with the iteration process, namely Runge–Kutta of order six. The obtained model depends on diversified natural parameters and is narrated on several profiles. Moreover, an explicit scheme has also been imposed to illustrate the developed visualisation of the fluid flow with the aid of streamlines and isothermal lines. Here, the stretching parameter demonstrates a provoking character on the momentum boundary layer, and the Prandtl number depicts an insignificant minimal impact on the mass transfer flow. The accuracy of this model is found satisfactory by validating with experimental data and comparing it with the previous numerical tests. This investigation has applications in engineering industries in thermal nano-technological materials processing and manufactures.
