Optimization of Daily Warehouse Storage PT. XYZ with Shared Storage Method

PT XYZ is a company engaged in ship repair and maintenance services and port management services. The problems faced by PT XYZ in carrying out its business lines are related to the effective and efficient operational managerial activities of raw material warehousing. Problem solving steps are carried out by testing data processing and analysis using the shared storage method as a solution step related to the problem of warehousing layout and optimization. Problem solving with the shared storage method is a method of reconditioning the warehousing layout with the principle of First in First out or fast moving where the layout of goods is classified based on the order of the flow of goods movement according to the operational needs of PT XYZ activities. Based on the calculation results, if the company applies the proposed layout, there is an average distance savings of 4 m2. The layout of the placement of raw materials based on the proposed improvements has a more organized condition and facilitates the flow of goods movement as well as inputting the flow of goods in and out which can be more efficient if the goods are organized and inputted administratively, this also affects the quality of goods.

Simplification of Mobility Tests and Data Processing to Increase Applicability of Wearable Sensors as Diagnostic Tools for Parkinson's Disease.

Quantitative mobility analysis using wearable sensors, while promising as a diagnostic tool for Parkinson's disease (PD), is not commonly applied in clinical settings. Major obstacles include uncertainty regarding the best protocol for instrumented mobility testing and subsequent data processing, as well as the added workload and complexity of this multi-step process. To simplify sensor-based mobility testing in diagnosing PD, we analyzed data from 262 PD participants and 50 controls performing several motor tasks wearing a sensor on their lower back containing a triaxial accelerometer and a triaxial gyroscope. Using ensembles of heterogeneous machine learning models incorporating a range of classifiers trained on a set of sensor features, we show that our models effectively differentiate between participants with PD and controls, both for mixed-stage PD (92.6% accuracy) and a group selected for mild PD only (89.4% accuracy). Omitting algorithmic segmentation of complex mobility tasks decreased the diagnostic accuracy of our models, as did the inclusion of kinesiological features. Feature importance analysis revealed that Timed Up and Go (TUG) tasks to contribute the highest-yield predictive features, with only minor decreases in accuracy for models based on cognitive TUG as a single mobility task. Our machine learning approach facilitates major simplification of instrumented mobility testing without compromising predictive performance.

Stress wave effects and their mechanisms on stress-strain curves in the elastic phase of SHPB tests

In Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar (SHPB) tests, the stress wave effects during the elastic phase of the stress-strain curve and their influence mechanisms are crucial. Due to the extremely short duration of the elastic deformation phase, the stress wave effects on the specimen during this stage cannot be ignored. This leads to significant errors in the obtained elastic stress-strain curves. However, the dynamic compressive elastic stress-strain relationship forms the basis for studying the viscoelastic behavior of materials. Accurate determination of elastic yield stress and yield strain is also essential for deriving accurate plastic stress-strain relationships. Quantitative research on the stress wave effects during the elastic compression phase of SHPB tests is fundamental for decoupling and obtaining accurate material elastic curves. This paper conducts a quantitative theoretical analysis of the structural effects caused by stress wave evolution during the elastic compression phase, based on the assumption of plane waves. It studies the deviation characteristics and main factors of the phenomenological engineering stress-strain curves of the specimen compared to the actual material stress-strain curves under different conditions, revealing the influence rules and mechanisms of this deviation. The maximum stress deviation value and its corresponding dimensionless time, as well as the variation trend of the maximum stress deviation value within different fluctuation intervals, are calculated. Additionally, the study investigates the cases where the incident wave is arc-shaped or a combination of arc and linear waves. The findings provide theoretical references for the precise design and accurate data processing of SHPB tests.

A New Data Processing Approach for the SHPB Test Based on PSO-TWER

This study addresses the challenge of accurately determining the arrival time of stress wave signals in SHPB test data processing. To eliminate human error, we introduce the time-window energy ratio method and evaluate six filters for noise reduction using box fractal dimensions. A mathematical model is established to optimize the stress equilibrium and impact process, which is solved using particle swarm optimization, resulting in the PSO-TWER method. We explore the impact of inertia weight and calculation methods on optimization outcomes, defining a stress equilibrium evaluation index. The results indicate that time-window length significantly affects arrival-time outputs, and the dynamic inertia weight factor enhances optimization convergence. The method accurately determines arrival times and effectively screens test data, providing a robust approach for SHPB test data processing.

Developing Self-Awareness in Children during Early Ontogenesis

Basic elements of self-awareness emerge and progress differently in different children. These timing peculiarities remain understudied in preschoolers. A comprehensive review revealed no clear guidelines, procedures, or technologies for psychological and pedagogical support of self-awareness in preschoolers. The authors studied the development of each component of self-awareness and the links between them. The research relied on the approach developed by V. S. Mukhina. The methods included psychodiagnostic testing, expert assessment, psychological experiment, statistical analysis, and qualitative data processing. The key components of self-awareness development included the following stages: identification with one’s own name; awareness of one’s own gender identity; use of the pronoun "I", which is an essential self-awareness link in young children. The psychological and pedagogical support of self-awareness development requires target actions for each link, as well as conscious efforts and resources of the family and the educational institution. The process of support is a process of socialization that starts when the child joins an organized group of peers. It lays foundation for the subsequent structural links between different components of self-awareness, i.e., claim to recognition, further awareness of one’s gender, and temporal self-awareness.

THE INFLUENCE OF LEADERSHIP STYLE, COMMUNICATION AND INDIVIDUAL CHARACTERISTICS ON TEACHER PERFORMANCE AT SMK NEGERI 1 SINABANG

This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing how the influence of leadership style, communication and individual characteristics on teacher performance at SMK Negeri 1 Sinabang. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Sinabang, with hypothesis testing using Technical Analysis Test (T) Partial and Test (F) Simultaneous, the number of samples was 43 respondents. Research data is obtained using interview methods and questions / questionnaires. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that the partial test between the variables of Leadership Style, Communication and Individual Characteristics has a significant influence on teacher performance at SMK Negeri 1 Sinabang. Then simultaneously, namely Leadership Style, Communication and Individual Characteristics have a significant influence on teacher performance at SMK Negeri 1 Sinabang. The results of Partial Test (T) data processing, the Leadership Style variable has a calculated T of 2.909 and Sig. 0.034, the Communication variable has a calculated T of 2.785 and Sig. 0.047, and the Individual Characteristics variable has a calculated T value of 3.051 and Sig. 0.047. On the other hand, the Simultaneous Test (F) obtained F count of 3.368 > F table 2.85 of these values can be interpreted that the independent variables together simultaneously affect the dependent variable.

Kapasitas Aerobik Maksimal Melalui Tes Cooper 12 Menit Pada Siswa Kelas X Mia SMA Negeri 31 Maluku Tengah

The importance of maximal aerobic capacity fitness in daily activities is undoubtedly the higher the level of health, the better aerobic capacity fitness will be. Good aerobic capacity fitness can support activities in daily life. Having good aerobic capacity, people will be able to carry out daily activities for a longer time than people with low aerobic endurance fitness. Maximum aerobic endurance can be interpreted as a person's ability to carry out daily life without causing excessive fatigue and still have the ability to fill other light jobs. Especially for class X mia students, the use of aerobic endurance is very important, because maximum aerobic endurance is the main capital for a class X Mia student at SMA Negeri 31 Central Maluku to help achieve achievements and make endurance movements that are in accordance with their abilities. The aim of this study was to determine the maximum aerobic endurance level of students and students of class X Mia SMA Negeri 31 Central Maluku. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method through test instruments. The population in this study amounted to 28 students and students aged 13-15 years. The sample used was the entire population, namely 28 female students and students aged 13-15 years according to the 12-minute Cooper test norm for maximum aerobic endurance Rizal, 2019. Based on the results data processing of the 12-minute Cooper test results for aerobic endurance and the overall sample was in the very poor or very poor category, the 12-minute running test became a weakness for students of Class X Mia SMA Negeri 31 Central Maluku with a very poor or very poor percentage due to lack of Aerobic endurance exercise and body mass index and muscle mass of class X Mia students are different from muscle mass and body mass of students who are dominant with the hormone testosterone. This also makes the body mass of students and students better than students who do not do sports activities well, because of the lack of aerobic endurance in students and many students who do not do sports activities well

Firm Performance on MSMEs in Surakarta and Adjustments in Improving and Winning the Competition

The purpose of this study is to prove the real impact of Agile Marketing, Marketing Mix Adaptation, Entrepreneur Orientation and Digital Transformation on Firm Performance in MSMEs incorporated in ACSB Banjarsari Surakarta District. Data collection method with questionnaire method Analysis test tools and data processing results using SmartPls v.4.0, Outer Model analysis results show convergent validity, composite reliability, and Average Variance Extracted (AVE) that meet the criteria. Of all 83 members in 1 WhatsApp group, all of them were taken to be sampled. All independent variables have a significant effect. Digital Transformation variables have a negative effect while other variables have a positive effect.

Pengaruh Perubahan Kadar pH Air Dengan Optimalisai Ukuran dan Suhu Aktivasi Serbuk Cangkang Siput Hisap (Cerithidea Obtusa) Sebaga Media Adsorben

The demand for clean water continues to increase along with population growth. Therefore, it is important to improve water quality to meet the demand for clean water supply. There are three methods that can be used in the water purification process, namely filtration, sedimentation, and adsorption. Clam shell waste contains calcium carbonate (CaCO3) with a percentage of 98%. This content can be used as an adsorption media. The purpose of this research is to utilize gold snail shell waste for activation at mesh size and temperature by determining the most optimum value. The results of making adsorbents will be tested on borehole water at the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic to study changes in the degree of acidity of water pH. The research was conducted using the Taguchi method, where the process parameters were mesh size and activation temperature. The parameters were then adjusted with the OA L_9 algorithm for three repetitions. Based on the results of the research and test data processing that has been done, it is concluded that the activation temperature is the highest influence in the process of making adsorbents. Optimal results were obtained at a powder size of 150 mesh (109 μm) and at an activation temperature of 700o C. With a percent contribution value on mesh size of 3.42% and activation temperature of 94.32%. It can be concluded that activation temperature is the highest influence in the process of making adsorbents.

Fatigue Testing and Modeling of Bonded Composite Specimens in Mode I, II, and Mixed-Mode I/II Loadings

Abstract Fatigue debond growth of bonded composite specimens in mode I, mode II, and mixed-mode I/II loadings were studied experimentally and numerically. For the mode I loading, test data sets were analyzed under the linear elasticity condition. For the mode II and mixed-mode loadings, specific test data processing was used to ensure that nonlinear effects that act outside of the cyclic loading range are excluded from the fatigue behavior assessment. An important finding under the mode II and mixed-mode loadings is that the actual loading ratios in the tests varied and were different from the applied displacement ratio. The experimental characterization of the fatigue debond behaviors was complemented with numerically determined correlations between the compliance and debond length under each individual loading. This correlation was used to determine an effective debond length from the compliance determined experimentally. According to the actual loading ratio variation, the fatigue growth behaviors were characterized using Paris’ law. Numerical fatigue analyses using two codes, Abaqus finite element (FE) and AFGROW, were carried out and validated using the developed test database. The details on an FE model setup and analysis strategy for a mixed-mode specimen are presented. Good agreement in the fatigue lives was obtained between the test and numerical analyses for the three types of loading. Also, good agreements in the load versus debond growth length relations were obtained between the test and FE analysis in the mode II and mixed-mode loadings. Reasons for the result discrepancy are discussed. The study shows that the presented analysis procedure is effective. The thorough description of both the used test data processing and numerical analysis procedure fills a knowledge gap in the available literature.

A typical procedure for flight test data processing is the measurements smoothing to obtain the estimate of the true signal measured in flight. If the data processing is carried out in the frequency domain, it becomes necessary to estimate the frequency transform (Fourier transform) of the true signal by its measurements. A method is proposed for constructing the simplest estimate of the signal Fourier transform in the form of the low frequency part of the Fourier transform measurements. Such estimate is determined by the single parameter – the cutoff frequency. The indicator for the estimate quality is the mean square of its deviation from the Fourier transform of the true signal. The task of constructing the estimate of the signal Fourier transform is considered as the task of finding the optimal cutoff frequency for which the criterion is minimal. An approximation of the criterion dependence on the cutoff frequency is constructed as the function of measurements only. The estimate of the optimal cutoff frequency is found by minimizing the approximation dependence. The proposed method for estimating the optimal cutoff frequency does not contain adjustable parameters. In the application to the tasks of identifying aircraft aerodynamic characteristics, it is shown that estimates of cutoff frequencies obtained by the proposed method provide identification accuracy comparable to the identification accuracy at optimal cutoff frequencies.

Analisis Sentimen Mobil Listrik di Indonesia Menggunakan Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM)

Vehicles using fuel oil that is converted into mechanical energy were introduced in 1891 by John W. Lambert in America. But with this, the level of air pollution caused by exhaust emissions has become a problem today, until environmentally friendly engine innovations appear. The beginning of the development of these innovations was marked by hybrid technology cars. This technology has not completely abandoned the use of oil as fuel. In general, these vehicles are known as HEV or Hybrid Electic Vehicles. Then came a car that was entirely with an electric motor drive or EV or Electric Vehicle. Although the technology is considered environmentally friendly, on the other hand it does not make all elements of society accept any changes, especially in fuel oil engines to electric motors. With these changes, there are pros and cons that are the focus of researchers by utilizing sentiment analysis which is a Natural Language Processing (NLP) scientific family to analyze what aspects make society pro or con to the emergence of environmentally friendly vehicles. Data collection in this study took from YouTube comments in the form of Indonesian text data carried out using Python programming language and Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) as an algorithm for analyzing public opinion. The dataset was divided into training data and test data with a ratio of 67:33, The results showed that the model can be used on Indonesian text data well. Then for the process of accuracy test data 63%, then macro avg precision 62%, macro avg recall 60%, macro avg f1-score 60%, weighted avg precision 62%, weighted avg recall 63%, weighted avg f1-score 62%, roc_auc 81%. In this study, it can also be seen that the topic of discussion that often arises, namely prices in all classes. However, negative sentiment is more than other sentiment classes, one of which is due to electric car manufacturers so it is very necessary to pay attention to stakeholders regarding prices that are suitable for the Indonesian market.

Development of Test Results and Physical Condition Measurement Methods Using Fitness Applications in Performance Sports

The research entitled Development of Application-Based Physical Condition Test Results and Measurements in Short Distance Running Athletics, 1) Wants to Make an Application for Processing Test Results and Physical Condition Measurements of Athletes in Athletics Distance Running Numbers. 2) Can find out the results of physical test data processing, which is valid, practical and effective manually or using digital applications on athletic athletes short distance running numbers. The method used in this study is RD, which is a study that describes products in the form of fitness test applications and physical test component instruments applied to athletic athletes in short-distance running numbers. The results of the research conducted were material validation resulting in validity of 85%, language validation of 83% and media validation of 90%. In small-scale trials it produced practicality of 78% and in large-scale trials the level of practicality produced 84.9% and the effectiveness of test results from media applications in the "effective" category with a percentage of 84.9%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the development of application-based physical condition test results and measurements in athletic athletes short distance running numbers is valid, practical, and effective. And can be used by coaches, to process data on the results of the physical condition of athletic athletes short distance running numbers, in order to speed up processing test result data.

APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORKS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS OF ACOUSTIC NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING (REVIEW)

Nowadays, artificial neural networks are finding more and more applications in various fields of human activity. This paper reviews the current state of research and development in the field of application of artificial neural networks for solving problems in acoustic non-destructive testing. The areas of application of neural networks include processing of inspection data, flaw detection, determination of flaw parameters, and determination of material properties. Test data processing includes increasing the signal-to-noise ratio of results, data compression, restoration and processing of flaw images. Within flaw parameter determination, flaw sizing and flaw type identification tasks have been solved using artificial neural networks. One of the most challenging problems related to the introduction of artificial neural networks in acoustic nondestructive testing is the small amount of inspection data that complicates the training of artificial networks. The ways to solve this problem are data exchange between organizations and standardization of inspection results, data augmentation and application of computer modeling.

Evaluating STEAM-competence of prospective natural science teachers

Introduction. The article studies the problem of developing STEAM competence in undergraduates pursuing their first degree in natural science education. The authors justify the necessity of introducing the discipline called ‘STEAM-approach in natural science education’ into the curriculum. The purpose of the article is to assess the readiness of future teachers of natural science subjects to implement STEAM education. Materials and Methods. The research methodology follows integrative, complex and contextual principles and the essential ideas of STEAM education aimed at the formation of STEAM-competencies in future natural science teachers. The authors summarized existing approaches to identifying key competencies, developed the structure of STEAM competence and designed the syllabus for ‘STEAM approach in natural science education’ discipline. The academic discipline ‘STEAM approach in natural science education’ was integrated in the curriculum of ‘Biology and Geography’ undergraduate programme and tested in the educational process. Final evaluating procedures which assessed the level of developing the components of STEAM competence included the comparative analysis of data obtained by means of questionnaires of teachers and students and the comparative assessment of some components of the STEAM competence in the control and experimental groups. Experimental work was conducted in secondary education settings in the Republic of Belarus and in the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank. The study involved 33 natural science teachers and 70 undergraduates doing their first degrees in the Faculty of Natural Sciences at BSPU named after Maxim Tank. The methods of theoretical analysis, comparison, questionnaire, testing, and statistical data processing were used in the study. Results. In the course of the research, the need for the formation of STEAM competence in future teachers of natural science subjects is substantiated; a system of their preparation for the implementation of STEAM education is developed and justified. The results of experimental work confirm that the effectiveness of training future natural science teachers to implement STEAM approach is determined by academic disciplines, which involve students in STEAM education. Conclusions. The results obtained prove the effectiveness of developing STEAM competence in future natural science teachers by means of targeted method training provided at the first stage of higher education. Teaching ‘STEAM approach in natural science education’ discipline as one of the elements of future teachers’ method preparation for implementing STEAM education contributes to the improvement of their STEAM competence.

Thermal conversion of aviation oils

These days, strict requirements to aeronautical equipment are imposed to enhance reliability, durability, and environmental compatibility. Aeronautical equipment operation reliability depends not only on its structural and technologic abilities, but also on the fact how aviation oils, fuels and technical fluid meet quality requirements during operation. During the aircraft engine operation, oils are subjected to the thermal impact. As a consequence, their properties and composition change which can affect the engine operation, on the whole. The most promising means of improving thermal resistance of aviation oils is developing new ones and improving available oil compositions. Therefore, it is feasible to analyze the kinetic properties of the oil thermal conversion which will make it possible to predict their resistance within the extensive temperature range. The paper investigates thermal decomposition kinetics of aviation oils MS-8P, TN-98 and TN-600 used on different types of aircraft in civil aviation of the Republic of Belarus by the method of a thermo-gravimetric analysis. The composition of oil samples has been researched into by IR spectroscopy, chromatography-mass spectroscopy methods. A comparative analysis of research results of new oils and oils drained from aircraft engines indicates that even under insignificant overheat during the operation, a change in the hydrocarbon composition occurs, and the hydrocarbon content of basic types varies to some extent. The oil thermolysis research reveals that potential overheat after engine shutdown complies with the temperatures at which the decomposition commences. Thermal conversion products of oil carbohydrates will contribute to the defect formation in friction subunits. As a result of test data processing of thermal conversion of aviation oils MS-8P, TN-98, TN-600, the principles of their decomposition as well as macrokinetic parameters, allowing us to precisely evaluate the effect of oils operation temperature conditions on their conversion rate, have been specified. It is essential while simulating the aircraft engine operation and predicting variations of oil quality properties during their operation.

Correlation Study of the Cone Penetration Test in the Field with a Laboratory Test on Soft Soil in Banjarmasin

The very soft soil commonly found in South Kalimantan, especially in Banjarmasin, with conditions of tidal swampy land, poses a challenge when it comes to the development of areas intended for medium-scale building construction. The demands of the population and the increasing need for housing necessitate the addition of residential levels, both by the government and private entities. This will undoubtedly open up new areas, and housing development will become a top priority in order to realize this. This research process is conducted in the field and in the laboratory, using soil material tested with the cone penetration test (CPT) method and data processing to identify the type and characteristics of the soil, ensuring they remain unchanged during the analysis of field data. Original samples are also taken for the purpose of analyzing the selection of foundation reinforcement types. Very soft clay soil is identified from the location of Gunung Meranti in Banjarmasin. This data is used for the analysis of bearing capacity, settlement analysis, characteristics, and identification, which will be correlated with the results of previous testing conducted in the laboratory using the Unconfined Compression Test (UDS) method in nearby locations. The results of field investigation data in the form of manometer readings are expected to assist the author as indicators in measuring and analyzing the type and characteristics of the soil, as well as the bearing capacity of the subgrade soil in the laboratory, based on the results of the CPT

Image Compression and Protection Systems Based on Atomic Functions

Digital images are a particular type of data. They have numerous applications. Taking into account current challenges and trends, image compression and protection have to be ensured. Data format, which provides fast analysis of the image compressed, is needed. In order to satisfy a combination of these requirements, an appropriate information system should be developed. In this paper, we design such a system based on atomic functions (AF) that are solutions of special functional differential equations and, in terms of function theory, are as good constructive tools as trigonometric polynomials. AF-based image processing system (AFIPS), which satisfies the requirements considered, is developed. A core of this system is discrete atomic transform (DAT). Data protection feature of AFIPS is provided by the possibility to vary a structure of the procedure DAT. Constructive approximation properties of AF ensure high lossy and lossless image compression, as well as good image representation by DAT-coefficients. Software implementation of AFIPS is investigated. The results of test data processing are given.

High-Throughput Lithium Plating Quantification for Fast Charging Battery Design

Fast charging of most commercial lithium-ion batteries is limited due to fear of lithium plating on the graphite anode, which is difficult to detect and poses significant safety risk. Here we demonstrate the power of simple, accessible, and high-throughput cycling techniques to quantify irreversible Li plating spanning data from over 100 cells. We first demonstrate a protocol for Li|Graphite half-cells to observe the effects of energy density, charge rate, temperature, and State-of-Charge (SOC) on lithium plating and provide an interpretable empirical equation for predicting the plating onset SOC. We then design a method to quantify in-situ Li plating for commercially relevant Graphite|LiNi0.5Mn0.3Co0.2O2 (NMC) cells and compare with results from the experimentally convenient Li|Graphite configuration. Ex-situ mass spectrometry titration is used to validate the in-situ analysis methods. This work showcases innovative testing methods and data processing that enable rapid battery engineering.
