COMMUNICATION ASPECTS OF SPORT IN THE CONTEXT OF SAMBO: BASICS OF ATHLETE RECRUITMENT AND DYNAMICS OF THE FEDERATION’S COMMUNICATION DEVELOPMENT

Sambo is a martial art whose popularity is growing every year. Therefore, it is important to encourage and recruit potential sambo players for the further development of the sport. A prerequisite is the establishment of communication links to improve existing communication strategies implemented by sambo federations. This is the reason for the relevance of the study, in order to improve the recruitment of athletes and thereby contribute to bringing sambo to a new level using the research findings and recommendations. That is why, in view of all the above, the purpose of this research is to analyse the communication aspect of sambo, identify the main aspects of athlete recruitment and a detailed analysis of the factors that influence the effectiveness of current communication strategies for recruitment; characterise the dynamics of communication of federations and identify successful communication practices; identify the features of the correlation between effective communication and the success of recruitment processes. It is also important to analyse the potential impact of improved communication on the growth and development of sambo. The final question is to provide practical suggestions for improving communication during the recruitment of athletes based on the findings. To achieve this purpose, a number of scientific methods were used, including the general philosophical method, methods of system analysis and synthesis, the method of deduction and induction, and the dialectical method. As a result, we have obtained scientifically significant conclusions and developed practical recommendations for improving communication skills in terms of implementing effective strategies and recruiting.

Design a Sign Language Translator Using Flexible Sensors

In terms of communication skills, many of us have limitations and shortcomings or what we are more familiar with is speech impairment Speaking is the ability to pronounce articulated sounds or words to express, express and convey thoughts, ideas and feelings. Communication skills can include many ways, including using verbal skills, namely verbally and non-verbally. The flex sensor has a thin and densely curved shape so that the flex sensor can be used as a motion detection and finger curve. Flex sensor application for human movement detection, patient monitoring. Therefore, hand-to-letter/text sign language translators using flexible sensors is a very important problem today. The method carried out is system design using tools and components used in research. This tool using the working principle in this system is to translate the sign language of alphabetic letters using flexible sensors. Design sign language translation of alphabetic letters using flexible sensors. The test to display the letters of the alphabet A-Z has a total minimum and maximum resistance at a flexible session of 1000 ohms with a voltage of 5V each. The result of this data is that there is no error in the play because the range value does not violate each other with other range values

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Tipe Jigsaw untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Komunikasi dan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa Kelas VII

The research aims to improve the communication skills and cognitive learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 5 Kopang. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The instruments used are observation sheets which are used to observe or determine communication skills and implementation of learning during the learning process, and tests/questions are used to determine students' understanding of the lessons given using the jigsaw type learning model during the teaching and learning process. The research results show an increase, both in terms of communication skills and cognitive learning outcomes. The results of the analysis of the percentage of communication skills of students in the first cycle at the first meeting, the indicator of ability to work together in groups was 18% in the very poor category, at the second meeting the percentage was 31% in the poor category, while in the second cycle at the first meeting the percentage was 72% in the good category, and at the second meeting the percentage was found to be 77% in the good category. Indicators of verbal communication skills were the results of students' communication skills in cycle I at meeting I with a percentage of 22% in the poor category, at meeting II with a percentage of 41% in the quite good category, while in cycle II in meeting I the percentage was 63% in the good category, and at the second meeting, the percentage was found to be 72% in the good category. The indicator of the ability to respect friends' opinions was the result of students' communication skills in cycle I with a percentage of 18% in the very poor category, in meeting II with a percentage of 45% in the quite good category, while in cycle II in meeting I the percentage was 72% in the good category, and in meeting II with a percentage of 81% in the very good category. The results of student learning evaluations in cycle I achieved classical completeness with a percentage of 59% with an average value of 68.6, and in cycle II classical completeness with a percentage of 90% with an average value of 82.2. The conclusion from the research results is that the jigsaw type learning model can improve communication skills and cognitive learning outcomes for class VII students at SMP Negeri 5 Kopang.

Vocabulary Mastery on Business Communication Skills of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) Students: Basis for a Business Correspondence Guide

This study examined the relationship between vocabulary mastery and business communication skills of hospitality management students in HEIs in Oriental Mindoro. A descriptive research design was utilized. In the quantitative case, the hospitality management students’ vocabulary mastery using the VLT and VST, their level of business communication skills, and the relationship between vocabulary mastery and business communication skills were described. Respondents of the study were the 89 hospitality management students selected through a stratified random sampling method using GPower Analysis. Results revealed that there is no significant relationship between vocabulary level and business communication skills. However, results also showed that there is a significant relationship between vocabulary size as to 20, 000 version B and business communication skills in terms of instructional. This indicates that the total vocabulary size of hospitality management students or how many words they know is closely related to their proficiency in business communication within the context of hospitality management instruction requiring the use of industry-specific terminology, jargon, and professional language.

MATHEMATICAL COMMUNICATION ABILITY OF CLASS V SD STUDENTS ON FLAT BUILDING MATERIALS VIEWED FROM GENDER

This study aims to describe the mathematical communication abilities of fifth grade students on the material of flat shapes in terms of the gender of students at SDN 84 Singkawang. The research used is descriptive quantitative research. The population of this study was the fifth grade students at SDN 84 Singkawang consisting of VA and VB classes, which consisted of 44 students. The data collection technique used was the test technique and the data analysis technique used was quantitative descriptive analysis with percentages. The results showed that mathematical communication skills in terms of gender where the mathematical communication skills of fifth grade male students in solving problems, subjects with high abilities were able to fulfill all indicators of students' mathematical communication abilities. Subjects with moderate ability are less able to explain ideas, everyday situations and mathematical relationships in writing with pictures. While the mathematical communication abilities of fifth grade female students in solving questions on subjects with high abilities were able to fulfill all indicators of students' mathematical communication abilities. Subjects with moderate ability are less able to explain ideas, everyday situations and mathematical relationships in writing with pictures. Meanwhile, subjects with low abilities are less able to explain ideas, everyday situations and mathematical relations in writing with pictures and communicate the conclusions of answers to problems according to the results of the questions. Thus it can be concluded that students' mathematical communication abilities in terms of gender in this study averaged 74% in the moderate category.

Assistance in Demographic Administration Innovation in Surabaya

Community service with students in the demographic administration internship program held by the Surabaya City Government’s Demographic and Civil Registration Office is carried out by means of students helping demographic administration tasks in 4 sub-districts within the Sambikerep District area. Namely, Made Village, Bringin Village, Sambikerep Village and Lontar Village. Through this activity, students benefit in terms of growing soft skills in terms of communication skills, adapting to the environment, working with others and time management. The benefits for the kelurahan are getting help from students and enthusiasm in providing services with the involvement of students.

Meta-Analysis of the Effect of the Reciprocal Teaching Learning Model on the Mathematical Communication Ability of Junior High School Students

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Reciprocal Teaching learning model on the mathematical communication skills of junior high school students. The method used is meta-analysis, namely systematic research by analyzing research results that have been published nationally related to the effect of the reciprocal teaching learning model on junior high school students' mathematical communication abilities. The sample for this study were six national journal articles published in the 2013-2022 range at the junior high school level, which discussed writing experiments on the effect of the reciprocal teaching learning model on junior high school students' mathematical communication abilities. The instrument in this study was a coding sheet that summarized the data and information of the journal articles studied. The results showed that overall the ten journal articles had an average effect size value of 1.14, which means that they belong to the large effect category. The results of the study also show that the reciprocal teaching learning model has a great influence on mathematical communication skills in terms of class levels, subject matter, and regions in Indonesia. This shows the conclusion that the reciprocal teaching learning model has a major influence on students' mathematical communication skills compared to conventional learning.

Analysis of Students’ Mathematical Communication Ability Based on Self-Regulated Learning

This research is motivated by previous researchers and the facts in the field that students’ mathematical communication skills have not been trained properly, and there are various levels of difficulty experienced by students in learning mathematics, while the influencing factor is one of the affective aspects, namely self-regulated learning. This study aims to describe students’ mathematical communication skills in terms of self-regulated learning. The subjects of this study were 60 students of MAN Simalungun class X. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The instrument in this study is a written test of mathematical communication skills and a non-test in the form of a self-regulated learning questionnaire. The results showed that: 1) there were significant differences in mathematical communication skills between students with low, medium, and high self-regulated learning categories; 2) there are significant differences in students’ mathematical communication skills in terms of the dimensions of self-regulated learning, namely motivation; time management; self-testing; and using academic resources. This research is a basic reference to reveal the relationship between mathematical communication skills and students’ self-regulated learning abilities.

DEVELOPING COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS IN TECHNOLOGICAL HIGH SCHOOL 9TH GRADE

The paper aims to evaluate the decisive contribution of educational classes to the development of communication skills, socialization and ethical relationships, as well as to the choice of the future profession according to each student's strengths and limitations.This scientific approach is therefore useful to a wide range of beneficiaries. Students are led step by step to overcome their limits, to self-discover and choose their future profession according to their moral and psychological profile, teachers have the opportunity to self-evaluate and discover useful strategies to develop their students' transversal skills, and parents learn to communicate with their children and guide them correctly in life.We highlighted the importance of communication in all key areas of daily life, starting with education and continuing with social life, family life and work life. As research methods we used observation and a questionnaire applied to teachers and students, as well as interviews with 9th grade students. On the basis of the observation sheet we were able to follow the students' progress in terms of communication skills, but also in terms of empathy, socialization and increasing tolerance towards others

Simulation in Urological Training: The Hybrid Model of Institute of Kidney Diseases Peshawar A Comparative Study

Background:"I fear the man who has practised one kick 10,000 times." Lee Bruce This aphorism highlights the growing importance of simulation in postgraduate urology training, especially during the COVID 19 pandemic, when all teaching and training activities were stopped, jeopardising postgraduate residents' education. Postgraduate residents must perform hours of surgical training to overcome urological learning curves. According to study, residents educated on simulators boost their summative scores. By introducing simulation to urology training in a way comparable to the well-known Halsted apprenticeship model, the current study emphasises the hybrid model of IKD. Objective: to compare the formative assessment results between residents taught on simulators and residents in the conventional apprenticeship model on factors of communication skills, technical competence, and overall capacity to conduct procedure on OSAT and DOPS. Material & Methods: from 2019 to 2021 this comparative study was conducted in the Department of Urology by Team C at the Institute of Kidney Diseases Peshawar. Group A (10 residents) and Group B (10 residents, 5 from the second and third years) received STEPS method OT instruction in the first phase. These simulators were used to impart knowledge to Group "B" Harvey for counseling and medical examinations Simulator for PCNL The second phase included a six-month training assignment swap between the two groups. A standard QSAT and DOPS proforma was used to evaluate each resident. Data analysis was done using SPSS 24.0. Results: Residents in Group A, who were originally exposed to the conventional technique, considerably outperformed Group B on Harvey (mean: 50.5; standard deviation: 2.21.1) in terms of communication skills, professionalism, and ethical concern during the first phase (p 0.001). However, the Group p0.05 shown considerably higher technical proficiency and overall process performance capacity. The mean technical skill and overall capacity to finish the process had a somewhat positive association in phase 1 in favour of group B (r=0.630, p 0.01). All QSAT and DOPS metrics significantly improved in the second phase. However, both groups did not vary significantly (p> 0.05). According to Pearson coefficient correlation, both groups considerably overcame their gaps in technical proficiency, communication skills, and procedural competence. (P= 0.001) Results are shown in Figures 1 through 06 and Tables 1 through 2. Conclusion: To improve the standard of urology residency in Pakistan, a hybrid paradigm that includes both simulation and actual performance is necessary. Analisis Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa Ditinjau dari Hasil Belajar pada Materi Persamaan Linear Satu Variabel

This study aims to determine students’ mathematical communication skills in terms of learning outcomes in the one-variable linear equation material. The resreach method used in description test and interview. The subjects in this study wrw 26 students. This type of resreach is descriptive qualitative resreach. Based on data analysis 1) students with an average score of 90 have high mathematical communication skills, 2) students with an average score of 89,8 have moderate mathematical communication skills and 3) students with an average score of 83,5 have low mathematical communication skills.

Evaluation of Children’s Discourses Regarding Imaginary Companion: The Case of Türkiye

Preschool children’s imaginary companions are a relatively unexplored phenomenon. This article provides information about a qualitative study investigating Turkish children’s statements about their imaginary companions. Forty-six children aged between 48–60 months were interviewed. A phenomenological pattern was used to explore themes in the research. As a result of the research, six themes and 24 categories were created. When the themes were reviewed, it was seen that the children’s imaginary companions were male in terms of gender, clothing, and accessories in terms of appearance characteristics, and happiness in terms of mood characteristics. In addition, considering the thinking status of their imaginary companions, it was determined that they concentrated in the category of entertainment/game, in the category of communication skills in terms of liked/admirable features, and finally in the category of negative behaviour as disliked/unadmirable features. Addressing imaginary companions in children’s lives in different dimensions can contribute to their development.

Mathematical Communication Skills in Terms of Student Learning Motivation on ARCS Model with Immediate Feedback

This research objective is to describe mathematical communicarion skill through ARCS- IF Model based on learners motivation. Type of this research is Mixed Method with concurrent embedded designs. This research population was Eight grader of SMP Maarif Kyai Gading Demak 2020/ 2021. Result of this research showed that ARCS- IF learning is effective in learners mathematical communication skill. Result of learners description with high learners motivation categories were able to complete mathematical communication skill with the indicator ability to express mathematical idea to write and convey them visually. Ability in stating idea or situation of problem into mathematical models (pictures, graphs, diagrams, tables and equations), ability to use right formulas in solving problems, students with motivation categories students are being able to complete communication skills mathematical with indicators Motivation learners were Ability to express mathematical ideas in writing and express them visually, Ability to use right formula to solve problems, students with low motivation categories were able to complete mathematical communication skills with Low Motivation indicators Ability to express mathematical idea to write and convey them visually.

Analysis of Mathematical Communication Ability in Terms of Student's Numerical Ability


 Abstrac- This research is motivated by the low mathematical communication skills of students. Students have difficulty in expressing problems into mathematical notation and performing arithmetic operations and re-expressing mathematical descriptions. This is related to the students' numerical ability. Therefore, this study aims to describe students' mathematical communication skills in terms of high, medium and low numerical abilities. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were students of class X IPA-1 SMA N 1 Kec. Lareh Sago Halaban which consists of 6 students with 2 students each with high, medium and low numerical abilities. The instruments used in collecting data in this study include the researcher as the main instrument, and supporting instruments in the form of numerical ability tests, tests of students' mathematical communication skills and interview guidelines, with data collection techniques carried out by tests and interviews. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman concept, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Checking the validity of the data used is triangulation technique. The results showed that subjects with high numerical abilities were easier to interpret and communicate mathematical ideas and ideas. Subjects with moderate numerical ability tend to be less capable and have little difficulty in interpreting and communicating mathematical ideas. And subjects with low numerical ability tend to be unable to interpret and communicate mathematical ideas.

Analysis of Mathematical Communication Ability and Self Confidence in the Numbered Head Together Learning Model with a Contextual Approach to Class VIII Opportunity Materials

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Number Head Together (NHT) learning model with a Contextual approach to describe the mathematical communication skills of class VIII students based on Self Confidence. The method used in this study is a mixed method. Data was collected through tests, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that (1) the NHT learning model was more effective on mathematical communication skills which could be seen from the results of the experimental class mathematical communication ability test which was greater than the control class, (2) The pattern of mathematical communication skills in terms of Self Confidence varied. Of the 31 students there are students who fall into the less positive, positive and very positive categories. Therefore, this research can be an alternative in learning mathematics, especially the use of contextual approaches and mathematical communication skills that can be applied in learning with the NHT and Self Confidence models of students. LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND ITS RELATION TO EMPLOYEES' JOB PERFORMANCE: FINDINGS FROM THE STUDY AT THE MINISTRY OF WOMEN, FAMILY AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AT PUTRAJAYA

This study was conducted with the aim to examine the relationship between leadership skills and employees job performance in the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development in Putrajaya. In this study, the research objective is (i) to identify the level of employee’s job performance, (ii) to examine the relationship between leadership skills of a leader’s measured in terms of communication skills, motivation skills, interpersonal skills and technical skills towards employee’s job performance and lastly (iii) to determine the significant predictor of leadership skills on employees' job performance. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire from 90 respondents. The main analysis involved descriptive and inferential statistics in order to achieve the research objectives of the study. The study findings have revealed that the level of employee’s job performance is high meanwhile results from Pearson Correlation and Multiple regression analysis also have confirmed that there is significant and positive relationship between leadership skills of a leader towards employees job performance in the Ministry.

Development Of Biology Learning Tools To Improve Communication Skills Reviewed From Humanistic Philosophy

This research is a developmental research because it develops learning tools to improve students' communication skills in terms of humanistic philosophy. The aim of this study is to create practicable learning instruments for training communication skills in the sense of a humanistic philosophy according to the criteria of validity, practicability and effectiveness. The development of learning devices was based on the four-D model. Research design using a pretest-posttest design with a group. Several insights were gained based on research data: the validity of learning tools developed in good categories; the readability of the developed student textbooks is appropriate for learning; the implementation of the RPP is well categorized; the dominant student activities are communicating information/opinions, asking questions and making presentations with a share of 18.88%; The obstacles encountered when using learning tools are that students are unfamiliar with communication skills, making some students less active participants in the learning process. Students respond positively to the learning process; Guided discovery learning can train students' communication skills; and student learning outcomes are 100% complete after participating in the teaching and learning process. The conclusion of this study is that guided discovery learning tools are feasible (valid, practical and effective) that are used to train students' communication skills.

Low-fidelity simulation vs. standardized patients in prevention and management of pressure injury education

AimThis study aims to compare the impact of standardized patient and low-fidelity simulation methods on the success, satisfaction, and self-confidence levels of nursing students in prevention and management of pressure injury education. MethodsThe study was designed as a randomized, controlled experimental study with pretest and posttest control groups. Eighty-one nursing students that met the inclusion criteria were randomly assigned to intervention (standardized patient; n = 40) and control (low-fidelity mannequin simulator; n = 41) groups. A descriptive characteristics form, the Student Satisfaction and Self-Confidence in Learning Scale, and the Simulation Design Scale were used for data collection. Implementation skills and knowledge levels of the students were evaluated by using a skills control list and pretest and posttest measurements, respectively. ResultsThe posttest knowledge score of the students in the standardized patient group, which was measured after the simulation education, was higher (p < 0.05). We did not find any statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of the scores obtained from the Students Satisfaction and Self-Confidence in Learning Scale and its subscales (p > 0.05). Compared to the low-fidelity mannequin group, the standardized patient group obtained higher scores from the Simulation Design Scale and its Objectives/Information subscale (p < 0.05). Regarding the skills needed in the implementation phases of pressure injury, the standardized patient group was more successful in terms of communication skills (p < 0.05). ConclusionIf the simulation design is well-planned, the use of a standardized patient and a low-fidelity mannequin have similar impacts on student satisfaction and self-confidence. However, the success scores and communication skills of the students in the standardized patient group were higher.

Educational pattern of communication skills development of students (physical education)

Deriving from the intended purpose, this article describes an activity of forming communication skills in a more special context, that of the physical education lesson/ activity, aiming to make arguments in favour of this formative correlation. Some of the students' results in terms of communication skills in the role of premises are analysed. Physical education is a powerful educational tool that can help young people develop their social and communication skills. Research that reveals how students perceive reality, how they relate to it through communication and how they perceive the need for these skills is necessary from the perspective of forming, during the high school cycle, young people who can successfully insert themselves into the labour market and who can adapt to the increasingly frequent changes taking place in today's society. It is for these reasons that the article analyses the correlation between communication and physical education within the learning activity, "looking" for relevant solutions for the formation of communication skills outside the linguistic disciplines.

EFFECT OF COMMUNICATION, MOTIVATION AND WORK COMPETENCY ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE

Purpose: This study was to determine the effect of communication, motivation and work competency on employee performance.&#x0D; Research Methodology: This research is a quantitative research with regression. This study uses a quantitative approach to see the causal relationship of several factors that influence performance. The population is the object and subject that meet certain criteria related to the problem of a study. The population in this study were all employees of class II Bandung port health office as many as 66 employees.&#x0D; Results: From the calculation results, the calculated F value is 13,438 and the significance is 0.000. Based on the criteria for the F TEST test results, it shows that F count (13,438) &gt; F table (2,76) and the value of Sig (0,000) &lt; 0,05 means that there is an influence between Communication Variables (X 1 ), Motivation (X 2 ) and Competence Work (X 3 ) has a joint (simultaneous) effect on the performance variable (Y). From the results of the analysis of determination (R Square (R2 ) ) shows the coefficient of determination (KD). R2 value of 0.394 means that the percentage of the contribution of the influence of the Communication variable (X 1 ), motivation (X 2 ) and Work Competence (X 3 ) Simultaneously to the Performance variable (Y) is 39.4%. While 60.6% is influenced by other factors. &#x0D; Limitations: The population in this study are all class II Bandung port health office employees, in the future it is hoped that it can be applied in other sectors&#x0D; Contribution: Although the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable is included in the Less classification. According to the author's suggestion, it should be further improved, especially in terms of communication skills, then the motivation that must be increased and no less important is the Work Competence of the employees themselves, so this will have an impact on increasing employee performance. This will improve health services.
