ABSTRACTDielectric composites that comprise Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 and Ba0.7Sr0.3Ti0.995Zr0.005O3 are synthesized using the wet solid-state method. The effect of Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3/Ba0.7Sr0.3Ti0.995Zr0.005O3 (2:8, 2.5:7.5, 3:7, 3.5:6.5) ratio on phase structure, temperature stability and dielectric properties has been investigated in detail. The XRD results show that the composites are composed of tetragonal perovskite. The composite ceramics with x = 0.3 Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 content possess a considerable temperature stability. The temperature coefficient of capacitance of this varies from −18.9% to 13.9% in the temperature range between −55°C and 200°C. The results show that xNa0.5Bi0.5TiO3-(1-x) Ba0.7Sr0.3Ti0.995Zr0.005O3 ceramics with temperature stability are a good candidate of lead-free dielectric materials.
