Using Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to Explain Teachers' Adoption of Digital Technology in Business Education

The use of technology eases and makes teaching learning process effective and efficient. Thus far, researches on technology acceptance in higher education has been widely conducted; however, only few has focused on vocational high school teachers, especially in the field of business. This survey research aims to analyze the influences of technology acceptance variables: Perceived of usefulness (PU) and Perceived of Ease of Use (PEU) towards two other acceptance variables: among vocational high school (SMK) teachers in the Business and Management field in Surakarta. The population of this research was all vocational high school teachers in the Business and Management field in Surakarta. At the end of the research, there were 172 responses obtained from the teachers involved. Partial Least Squares (PLS) on Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was used to test the research hypotheses. The empirical findings show that there are significant influences; particularly on PEU and PU, as well as PEU and PU on BI. Furthermore, BI is also proven to have a significant influence on AU. The findings are expected to provide deeper insights into the factors influencing technology adoption by teachers in business education. Moreover, the implication is foreseen to contribute on the development of more effective and efficient business education through the use of digital technology.

Analysis on the Utilization of Digital Application as the Covid-19 Mitigation Effort

Covid-19 has an obvious impact on people's lives. Therefore, the government continues to make efforts to suppress and reduce the negative impacts. One of the efforts being made is to develop the pedulilindungi application to make it easier to track Covid-19 cases. However, the problem that occurs is the lack of utilization of the pedulilindungi application by the public. This study aims to analyze the effect of technology acceptance and technology readiness on the level of utilization of the pedulilindungii application as a Covid-19 mitigation effort. This was a quantitative study with a survey method. This study was conducted from June to August 2022. The population in this study were lecturers, staffs and students within the Muhammadiyah University of Sidenreng Rappang as many as 3394. The study samples were selected using random sampling technique with a target of 358 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire based on the technology readiness index (TRI) to assess the level of technology readiness and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to assess the level of technology acceptance. Furthetmore, the data were analyzed using Path Analysis to determine the direct effect and variables of Technology Acceptance and Technology Readiness on mitigation effort, as well as the indirect effect through perception towards the Covid-19 policy. The study results showed that the values of the direct effect of Technology Acceptance and Technology Readiness variables on mitigation efforts were 0.228 and 0.095, respectively, while the indirect effect through the perception towards Covid-19 policy perception were 0.479 and 0.115, respectively. Thus, it was revealed that there wolud be an increase in the effect of Technology Acceptance and Technology Readiness on mitigation efforts if they were supported by government policies. It can be concluded that Technology Acceptance and Readiness had a significant effect on mitigation efforts through the use of the Pedulilindungi application supported by perception towards the Covid-19 policy.

Specifying, estimating and validating consumer eSports engagement composite model: a composite confirmatory approach

PurposeThe present study aims to specify, estimate, and validate the composite formative model of consumer eSports engagement (CeSE) through utilizing the composite confirmatory analysis (CCA) methodological approach.Design/methodology/approachTo validate the composite model of CeSE, we collected the data using the Mturk online tool from eSports gamers located in European countries. The partial least squares based structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) approach was employed using SmartPLS to conduct CCA analyses.FindingsUsing CCA, the authors first evaluated the reflective constructs (three first-order dimensions comprising cognitive, affective, and activation) and found reliable and valid reflective constructs. The authors then proceeded to assess the composite formative model of CeSE at higher-order level and resulted that CeSE is a valid composite model. Besides, the nomological network of CeSE with technology acceptance variables (e.g. behavioral intention and usage behavioral were estimated and found significant results).Originality/valueThis study contributes to consumer engagement literature in many directions. First, this study applies consumer engagement scale in the eSports context (i.e. eSports game brands). Second, this study notably specifies, estimates, and validates CeSE as composite model comprising cognitive, affective, and activation factors as first-order reflective constructs and CeSE as second/higher-order formative construct. Third, this study applies CCA guidelines to establish the CeSE as a composite formative measurement model and make significant methodology contribution. Fourth, this study extends the TAM model via studying CeSE as an important determinant of behavioral intention to play eSports games, which in turn impacts on eSports gaming/usage behavior.

What Makes Consumers' Intention to Purchase Paid Stickers in Personal Messenger? The Role of Personality and Motivational Factors.

Many messengers and social networking services (SNSs) use emojis and stickers as a means of communication. Stickers express individual emotions well, allowing long texts to be replaced with small pictures. As the use of stickers increased, stickers were commercialized on a few platforms and showed remarkable growth as people bought and used stickers with their favorite characters, products, or entertainers online. Depending on their personality, individuals have different motivations for using stickers that determine the usefulness and enjoyment of stickers, affecting their purchase decisions. In the present study, participants (n = 302) who were randomly recruited from a university completed an online questionnaire assessing the Big Five personality characteristics, motivations for using stickers, and the technology acceptance model (TAM). Results using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) revealed that each personality trait affected different motivations for using stickers. Moreover, motivations for using stickers also influenced different technology acceptance variables. Finally, perceived usefulness, enjoyment, and ease of use had a positive effect on the intention to purchase stickers. This study has implications in that it is an exploratory approach to the intention to purchase stickers, which has been investigated by few prior studies, and it sheds light on the relationship between personality, motivation, and TAM in purchasing stickers. It also suggests that personality and motivation factors can be considered in personalized recommendation services.

Digital Nativity, Computer Self-Efficacy, and Technology Adoption: A Study Among University Faculties in China.

Technology acceptance and usage become obligatory for people when their work modes change as a result of an unexpected but irresistible force. This is especially true for teachers who are reluctant technology adopters compared with their students. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chinese government issued national policies to enforce online teaching and learning. As the success of online teaching largely depends on university faculties' readiness and intentions, how they perceive and practice technology adoption becomes an issue that warrants in-depth research. Unlike their students who grow up with technology and can be seen as digital natives, university faculties may lack competence in using technology, whether to teach or do other tasks. Previous studies on faculties' technology adoption were all conducted in situations where they made volitional decisions to use technology, but their mandatory technology use received scant attention. In addition, although studies suggested that teachers demonstrated features of digital natives, it remains unknown whether or to what extent their digital nativity correlates with technology intentions. To address these research gaps, the current study examined Chinese university faculties' intentions to use technology for online teaching by incorporating digital nativity and computer self-efficacy as key determinants into technology acceptance variables. Results suggested that digital nativity was a key factor that affected university faculties' online teaching, as evidenced by the fact that 67% of the variance could be explained by perceived usefulness, attitudes and digital nativity. In addition, it was also found that computer efficacy significantly influenced perceived ease of use.

The Moderating Effects of Leader-Member Exchange for Technology Acceptance

Within the technology acceptance literature, the issue of top management support and commitment has been studied extensively; however, the issue of leadership per se has not been addressed directly. A missing piece of the leadership puzzle as it relates to technology acceptance is an exploration of how top management support gets translated in the organizational hierarchy. This study introduces leader-member exchange (LMX) to better understand this missing piece. Specifically, this research explores the role direct supervisors play in the acceptance process by end users based on the moderated model of LMX and supervisor influence. The empirical test results in the field setting show that LMX is a significant moderator for most of the technology acceptance variables within organizations. The study explores the role of the quality of the relationship between supervisors and employees as end users. It also highlights the role of LMX and supervisor influence as a conduit for the acceptance process among end users in the organization.

Examining the acceptance of an integrated Electronic Health Records system: Insights from a repeated cross-sectional design

Background and purposeHospital staff’s acceptance of an integrated Electronic Health Records system (EHR) is a critical success factor to exploit the benefits EHRs can offer. This study employs a repeated cross-sectional design to differentiate between the enablers and barriers of EHR acceptance prior to EHR implementation and those that arise over time by testing a theoretical model specifically tailored to the EHR context. MethodsA repeated cross-sectional design, consisting of one measurement of staff’s acceptance before and two after EHR implementation, was employed in a Belgian hospital. To test the theoretical model, partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) was used. Furthermore, partial least squares multigroup analyses (PLS-MGA) and permutation tests were applied to examine whether the relations in the model vary significantly over time. ResultsThe formulated model explains up to 80 % of the variance in hospital staff’s attitude towards the EHR. The extent to which the EHR leads to administrative simplification outperforms the core technology acceptance variables. Furthermore, support was found for the significant role of implementation factors (i.e. communication quality and training) and prior IT experiences in explaining EHR acceptance. Finally, the results show significant evolutions in path coefficients over time. An important trade-off between effort expectancy and performance expectancy was revealed, meaning effort expectancy is the most important determinant of hospital staff’s attitude towards the EHR, but once the EHR has been implemented performance expectancy becomes more important. ConclusionsThe results of testing the hypothesized model reveal the importance of taking into account hospital staff’s perception of the extent to which the EHR generates administrative simplification, a combination of implementation factors, and attitude towards technology in general when assessing the acceptance of an EHR. Moreover, the results highlight the importance of conducting repeated cross-sectional or longitudinal technology acceptance research as relations between core variables vary significantly over time, which implies hospital management and healthcare technology providers should adjust their policy throughout the various implementation stages.

Effect of Accounting Lecturer Behavior on the Level of Online Learning Outcomes Achievement

Changes in learning models in reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic have a significant impact on how accounting is taught. The objective of this study was to compare the differences in learning outcomes before and during the pandemic. A total of 367 research participants were collecting and the data were analyzed using the Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modelling approach. Additional testing to control the demographic variable shows that the demographic variable is not a determinant of learning outcome achievement. The results showed that anxiety reduces the ease of use, and external control perception positively affects it. The theoretical implication is that the online learning outcome increases depending on user behavior variables. Technology acceptance variables are a mediation between personality variables and online learning. Other constructions of the TAM model have been empirically proven. The level of achievement before the pandemic is higher than during the pandemic. These results indicate that the implementation of online learning is more effective if it has been prepared from the beginning. The practical implication is to achieve a good outcome. A university must reduce anxiety and increase the positive control of the external perception of each lecturer.

Wearable sensing devices acceptance behavior in construction safety and health: assessing existing models and developing a hybrid conceptual model

Purpose This study aims to examine relationships between several key technology acceptance variables that predict workers’ wearable sensing devices (WSDs) acceptance in the construction industry by using technology acceptance model, theory of planned behavior and unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model. The study proposes a hybrid conceptual model to measure construction field workers’ intentions to use WSDs and their usage behaviors. The study introduces variables that are instrumental in understanding and improving WSD acceptance in construction. Design/methodology/approach The study was carried out using a structured literature review, online survey and structural equation modeling. A total of 195 field workers across the USA, with experience in using WSDs, participated in the study. Findings Results indicate that all three theories predict WSD acceptance with variables explaining at least 89% of the variance in actual use, with the UTAUT outperforming other models (91%). However, the differences between the predictive power of these models were not statistically significant. A hybrid conceptual model is proposed using findings from the present study. Practical implications The study contributes to knowledge and practice by highlighting key variables that influence WSD acceptance. Findings from this study should provide stakeholders with critical insights needed to successfully drive WSD acceptance in the construction industry. Originality/value To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this is the first study that evaluates the predictive strength of multiple technology acceptance theories and models within the construction worker safety technology domain. Additionally, the study proposes a hybrid conceptual model which could provide practitioners and researchers with information pertinent to enhancing WSD acceptance.

Exploring how student motivation relates to acceptance and participation in MOOCs

ABSTRACT In recent years, MOOCs have become firmly established as valid e-learning environments and, as such, have been developed by many universities using different types of platform. Given the voluntary nature of MOOC enrollment, motivation is crucial to our understanding of why students register for and complete these courses. The present study explores the motivations that characterize MOOC participants and how they relate to technology acceptance variables (data collected via questionnaires) and participation variables (observational data collected via the platform). Our results indicate that students show exceptionally high levels of intrinsic motivation. However, extrinsic motivation also plays a relevant role, suggesting that the two are not mutually exclusive. Although only intrinsic motivation appears to be systematically associated with differences in technology acceptance, both are associated with differences in participation, but in contrasting ways. Our results provide insights that will enable us to improve MOOC design in order to enhance participant satisfaction, particularly when different sources of motivation are involved. Future research based on the modeling of technology acceptance and participation will also benefit from this study.

Leveraging human-robot interaction in hospitality services: Incorporating the role of perceived value, empathy, and information sharing into visitors’ intentions to use social robots

Social robots have become pervasive in the tourism and hospitality service environments. The empirical understanding of the drivers of visitors' intentions to use robots in such services has become an urgent necessity for their sustainable deployment. Certainly, using social androids within hospitality services requires organisations' attentive commitment to value creation and fulfilling service quality expectations. In this paper, via structural equation modelling (SEM) and semi-structured interviews with managers, we conceptualise and empirically test visitors' intentions to use social robots in hospitality services. With data collected in Singapore's hospitality settings, we found visitors' intentions to use social robots stem from the effects of technology acceptance variables, service quality dimensions leading to perceived value, and two further dimensions from human robot interaction (HRI): empathy and information sharing. Analysis of these dimensions' importance provides a deeper understanding of novel opportunities managers may take advantage of to position social robot-delivered services in tourism and hospitality strategies.

Psychosocial Factors Affecting Artificial Intelligence Adoption in Health Care in China: Cross-Sectional Study.

BackgroundPoor quality primary health care is a major issue in China, particularly in blindness prevention. Artificial intelligence (AI) could provide early screening and accurate auxiliary diagnosis to improve primary care services and reduce unnecessary referrals, but the application of AI in medical settings is still an emerging field.ObjectiveThis study aimed to investigate the general public’s acceptance of ophthalmic AI devices, with reference to those already used in China, and the interrelated influencing factors that shape people’s intention to use these devices.MethodsWe proposed a model of ophthalmic AI acceptance based on technology acceptance theories and variables from other health care–related studies. The model was verified via a 32-item questionnaire with 7-point Likert scales completed by 474 respondents (nationally random sampled). Structural equation modeling was used to evaluate item and construct reliability and validity via a confirmatory factor analysis, and the model’s path effects, significance, goodness of fit, and mediation and moderation effects were analyzed.ResultsStandardized factor loadings of items were between 0.583 and 0.876. Composite reliability of 9 constructs ranged from 0.673 to 0.841. The discriminant validity of all constructs met the Fornell and Larcker criteria. Model fit indicators such as standardized root mean square residual (0.057), comparative fit index (0.915), and root mean squared error of approximation (0.049) demonstrated good fit. Intention to use (R2=0.515) is significantly affected by subjective norms (beta=.408; P<.001), perceived usefulness (beta=.336; P=.03), and resistance bias (beta=–.237; P=.02). Subjective norms and perceived behavior control had an indirect impact on intention to use through perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Eye health consciousness had an indirect positive effect on intention to use through perceived usefulness. Trust had a significant moderation effect (beta=–.095; P=.049) on the effect path of perceived usefulness to intention to use.ConclusionsThe item, construct, and model indicators indicate reliable interpretation power and help explain the levels of public acceptance of ophthalmic AI devices in China. The influence of subjective norms can be linked to Confucian culture, collectivism, authoritarianism, and conformity mentality in China. Overall, the use of AI in diagnostics and clinical laboratory analysis is underdeveloped, and the Chinese public are generally mistrustful of medical staff and the Chinese medical system. Stakeholders such as doctors and AI suppliers should therefore avoid making misleading or over-exaggerated claims in the promotion of AI health care products.

All the same or different? Revisiting measures of teachers' technology acceptance

Technology acceptance has been widely discussed and examined in educational contexts. Despite the variety of models and measures describing teachers' technology acceptance, two key assumptions persist in the existing body of literature: First, the technology acceptance construct can be represented by a set of diverse, yet correlated attitudes and beliefs. Second, the effects of technology acceptance on the intentions to use technology and technology use—two commonly studied outcome variables—follow a cascade. The existing evidence backing these assumptions is, however, diverse, as the considerable between-study variation in the relations between the technology acceptance and outcome variables shows. This variation remained largely unexplained, and the present study offers an explanation from the perspective of construct validity. Analyzing a large meta-analytic sample (N = 37211 teachers) obtained from a previous meta-analysis, we synthesized the correlations among measures of teachers' technology acceptance and found support for the existence of a common trait that underlies all technology acceptance variables. This finding remained even after distinguishing between different teacher samples (i.e., pre-vs. in-service teachers) and types of technology (i.e., technology in general vs. specific technologies). There was no convincing evidence for the hypothesized cascade of effects, due to a weak and insignificant link between usage intentions and technology use. Our findings provide evidence for the representation of teachers' technology acceptance as a single latent variable and consequently offer a way to describe its relations to usage intentions and technology use without compromising the validity of the inferences drawn from them.

ABSTRACT The present questionnaire-based study combines and expands technology acceptance and behavioural (risk and loss aversion) variables in explaining the demand for life insurance products. Loss aversion is inversely related to the proxy for life insurance demand and two technology acceptance related factors (usefulness of online technology and acceptance of smart devices) have a significant positive influence.

Faculty readiness for digital learning environments: A research on online attendance management systems

Purpose- The purpose of this study is to investigate the readiness of the faculty towards digital learning management tools. Online attendance management systems are investigated as a part of the digitalized education environment. The statistical relations among technology readiness factors and technology acceptance variables are investigated. Methodology- The study adopted a quantitative research method, and the survey is used as the data gathering tool. The survey consisted of items from the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Across Turkey, 317 faculty from seven universities participated in the final survey. Findings- The analysis reveals that there is a statistically significant yet weak relationship among technology readiness variables and acceptance of online attendance management systems. In addition, descriptive statistics presents some valuable insight regarding technology readiness situation of the faculty members. Conclusion- Education environments are enhanced with technological tools and supported with online platforms. The most critical point is that the usage of these technological advancements is limited by technology acceptance, and this study reveals that technology readiness is a key component of technology acceptance.

The influence of acceptance and adoption drivers on smart home usage

PurposeThis study aims to develop a comprehensive adoption model that combines constructs from various theories and tests these theories against each other. The study combines a technology acceptance model, innovation diffusion theory and risk theory. It develops this model in a smart home applications context.Design/methodology/approachThe study is based on an online survey consisting of 409 participants, and the data are analyzed using structural equation modeling.FindingsEach theory provides unique insights into technology acceptance and numerous constructs are interrelated. Predictors from innovation diffusion and risk theory often display indirect effects through technology acceptance variables. The study identifies risk perception as a major inhibitor of use intention, mediated through perceived usefulness. Results reveal that the most important determinants of use intention are compatibility and usefulness of the application.Research limitations/implicationsStudies which do not examine different theories together may not be able to detect the indirect effects of some predictors and could falsely conclude that these predictors do no matter. The findings emphasize the crucial role of compatibility, perceived usefulness and various risk facets associated with smart homes.Originality/valueThis study broadens the understanding about the necessity of combining acceptance and adoption drivers from several theories to better understand the usage of complex technological systems such as smart home applications.

Health-related internet use among opioid treatment patients

The Internet and smartphones have become commonplace and can be effective in overcoming traditional barriers to accessing health information about substance use disorders (SUD), and their prevention or treatment. Little is known, however, about specific factors that may influence the use of these technologies among socioeconomically disadvantaged populations with SUDs. This study characterized the use of digital technologies and the Internet among individuals receiving treatment for opioid use disorder, focusing on identifying predictors of Internet use for health-related purposes. Participants came from an urban opioid replacement therapy program and completed a face-to-face survey on Internet and technology use. We examined the association between online health information seeking and technology acceptance variables, including perceived usefulness, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions (e.g., availability of devices/services and technical support). Participants (N = 178, ages 18–64) endorsed high rates of current smartphone ownership (94%) and everyday Internet use (67%). 88% of participants reported searching online for information about health or medical topics in the past 3 months. Predictors of Internet use for health-related purposes were higher technology acceptance for mobile Internet use, younger age, current employment, and less bodily pain. Our results demonstrate high acceptance and use of mobile technology and the Internet among this sample of socioeconomically disadvantaged individuals with SUDs. However, these findings also highlight the importance of identifying barriers that disadvantaged groups face in using mobile technologies when designing technology-based interventions for this population.

Technology Experience of Solid Organ Transplant Patients and Their Overall Willingness to Use Interactive Health Technology.

The use of interactive health technology (IHT) is a promising pathway to tackle self-management problems experienced by many chronically ill patients, including solid organ transplant (Tx) patients. Yet, to ensure that the IHT is accepted and used, a human-centered design process is needed, actively involving end users in all steps of the development process. A first critical, predevelopment step involves understanding end users' characteristics. This study therefore aims to (a) select an IHT platform to deliver a self-management support intervention most closely related to Tx patients' current use of information and communication technologies (ICTs), (b) understand Tx patients' overall willingness to use IHT for self-management support, and investigate associations with relevant technology acceptance variables, and (c) explore Tx patients' views on potential IHT features. We performed a cross-sectional, descriptive study between October and December 2013, enrolling a convenience sample of adult heart, lung, liver, and kidney Tx patients from the University Hospitals Leuven, Belgium. Broad inclusion criteria were applied to ensure a representative patient sample. We used a 35-item newly designed interview questionnaire to measure Tx patients' use of ICTs, their overall willingness to use IHT, and their views on potential IHT features, as well as relevant technology acceptance variables derived from the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology and a literature review. Descriptive statistics were used as appropriate, and an ordinal logistic regression model was built to determine the association between Tx patients' overall willingness to use IHT, the selected technology acceptance variables, and patient characteristics. Out of 139 patients, 122 agreed to participate (32 heart, 30 lung, 30 liver, and 30 kidney Tx patients; participation rate: 88%). Most patients were male (57.4%), married or living together (68%), and had a mean age of 55.9 ± 13.4 years. Only 27.9% of Tx patients possessed a smartphone, yet 72.1% owned at least one desktop or laptop PC with wireless Internet at home. On a 10-point numeric scale, asking patients whether they think IHT development is important to support them personally in their self-management, patients gave a median score of 7 (25th percentile 5 points; 75th percentile 10 points). Patients who were single or married or living together were more likely to give a higher rating than divorced or widowed patients; patients who completed only secondary education gave a higher rating than higher educated patients; and patients with prior ICT use gave a higher rating than patients without prior ICT use. Tx patients also had clear preferences regarding IHT features, such as automatic data transfer, as much as possible, visual aids (e.g., graphs) over text messages, and personally deciding when to access the IHT. By investigating Tx patients' possession and use of ICTs, we learned that computers and the Internet, and not smartphones, are the most suitable IHT platforms to deliver self-management interventions for our Tx patients. Moreover, Tx patients generally are open to using IHT, yet patient acceptance variables and their preferences for certain IHT features should be taken into account in the next steps of IHT development. Designers intending to develop or use existing IHTs should never overlook this critical first step in a human-centered design. Before considering using eHealth technology in clinical practice, professionals should always check whether patients are familiar with using information and communication technology, and whether they are willing to use technology for health-related purposes.

Are government employees adopting local e-government transformation?

PurposeThis study aims to examine the association of technology acceptance variables with the intention of adopting e-government transformation, as defined by four dimensions, namely, using new technology systems, redesigning of governmental processes, restructuring of governmental organization and changing the organizational culture and behavior, from the perspective of city government employees in Indonesia and the Philippines.Design/methodology/approachQuantitative approach was used in the conduct of this research. Variables were operationalized into indicators, which were transmuted into a self-reported survey questionnaire. Survey data obtained from purposively sampled city government employees were analyzed using structural equation modeling.FindingsFindings suggest that attitude is a pivotal predictor of intention to adopt e-government transformation across all four dimensions, while performance expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions also positively influence the intention to adopt process redesign, organizational structuring and cultural and behavioral change in the city government. Respondents’ length of work experience appears as a significant moderating variable.Research limitations/implicationsThis study reports only on the findings from two cities in two countries, Surabaya in Indonesia and Davao in the Philippines. The determination of the sample size was done through purposive sampling, so the application of results should be done with prudence. The constructs used for the research model were chosen because of their prominence in the literature. This study made use of a simple linear regression model in hypothesizing the relationships of the constructs.Practical implicationsFor e-government transformation to be adoptable and efficacious, supporting and facilitating conditions are necessary. Structural, technical and financial support, as well as legal framework, for local e-government transformation should be in place. Maintaining and sustaining the positive attitude toward it should be done.Originality/valueAlthough many studies have been conducted on adoption of ICT-enabled government services from the citizens’ viewpoint, little has been done from the local government employees’ perspective, and no prior cross-country study has been made. This study fills those gaps in the e-government adoption literature. Further, this study has shown that technology acceptance variables’ roles as predictors of behavioral intention can be extended to other dimensions of e-government.
