Process approach in the configuration of a construction project for the conservation of the Weenhayek native people

Since the systematic approach of the processes and their interactions, the aim is to establish the configuration of a construction project for the housing of the Weenhayek indigenous people. Applied from the theoretical research of various authors on a group of methodologies, phases and tools for project management, through rational scientific methods, such as descriptive, analytical, comparative, analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, historical-logical, analogies, modeling, systemic-structural-functional, systematization; and empirical methods, such as interpretivism that involves inductive, qualitative, phenomenological and transversal research, and the interview technique; the way in which the implementation processes are organized, interacted and structured is established. This reveals an alternative for the detailed configuration of a construction project for Weenhayek houses, based on phases, activities, actions and work tasks with characteristics in accordance with the needs of the project.

Transformasi Konsep Martabat Perempun Tanimbar Dalam Hubungan Dengan Adat Harta Pakai Dan Harta Buang

The Tanimbar society views women as a source of life for all mankind. In married life, women’s dignity is highly respected with customary rules or laws called harta pakai and harta buang. However, in the development of customary rules, the laws began to fade in the face of various other types of laws such as civil law and religious law. The main question of this study is: “How is the transformation of the Tanimbar people’s views on the dignity of women in the relationship between the practice of harta pakai and harta buang in the context of the complexity of law and values?” The purpose of this study is to describe the complexity of law and values ​​that affects the transformation of the concept of women in Tanimbar. This study used is a qualitative method and the data presented is qualitative or descriptive. Data are collected through interview and observation techniques. The findings indicate that the exchange of property in marriage practices illustrates a sign of appreciation and gratitude for women who have cared for and raised their daughters until they enter the stage of marriage. However, in practice, this appreciation begins to change and makes women like mere objects or commodities.

AN EVALUATION OF THE ROLE OF PHYSICAL LAYOUT IN CAMPUS MASTERPLAN DESIGN TO PROMOTE SUSTAINABILITY

Many of the current campus design development tends to be more ad-hoc and focus more on free-standing buildings in the landscape settings that do not respond to the environment of the local contexts. Those designs have been criticized for creating a high dependency on automobiles, sprawling and segregating campus outdoor spaces with roads and large parking lots that pose challenges to meet sustainability goals. This paper aims to evaluate the role of physical layout in the design of campus masterplan at Malaysian Public Universities (MPUs) to promote sustainability. Using a qualitative method of a multiple case study, a connection between physical layout and sustainability was evaluated based on document reviews, morphological studies, visual surveys, and semi-structured interview techniques. The finding reveals that the physical layout plays an important role in promoting a sustainable campus environment. It is recommended to emphasize the design of physical layout in the MPUs’ campus masterplan to ensure compactness and structured configurations, which enhance design sustainability. These are important attributes in the design approaches that should be taken by MPUs for it to be agents of sustainability.

Skepticism as a Barrier to Evidence Collection

Comprehensive evidence collection in cases of sex crimes is of vital importance to obtaining convictions in a court of law, and in such cases testimonial evidence is often crucial to understanding the nature of the criminal violation as well as the scope and range of further possible evidence that may be gathered. Research has shown that when police are openly suspicious of victim testimony, or otherwise exhibit disregard, judgment, or hostility to victim reports and information, the evidence collection becomes less comprehensive as a result. However, by utilizing trauma-informed interviewing techniques, law enforcement can more successfully elicit information from victims that may be vital in better understanding the facts of a case, and to make a more comprehensive and exhaustive collection of evidence relevant to a case. Because victims in these sensitive types of crime are often already hesitant, traumatized, and confused – and because many sex crime cases involve alcohol or other drugs – law enforcement is best advised to exercise discretion and patience with victims during any type of information receipt or interrogatory related to a possible or alleged crime.

Along with the arrival of foreign colors from various countries to the city of Surabaya, causing smuggling. In population documents about Certificate of Residence (SKTT) of Foreigners is very necessary now to know that it is legal or illegal if you want to live in Surabaya. So the purpose of this research is to find out the supervision of the implementation of SKTT Foreigners who come and will settle in the city of Surabaya, so that there is no smuggling or illegal activities. Descriptive qualitative approach with the intention of providing a comprehensive picture with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. Getting new findings, namely on the role of the Population and Civil Registration Office in Supervising the Implementation of SKTT Foreigners in Surabaya City from the three sub-focuses in terms of setting work standards, there are still obstacles in delivering information so that there was unclear information. However, the measurement of work results and corrective actions are optimal enough to provide services and preventive efforts so that nothing untoward happens in the future.

Achieving Zero Poverty Goal in Bojonegoro Through the Welfare Sheep Program: Public Value Perspective

The main objectives of this study are to evaluate the public value of the Welfare Sheep Program in achieving zero poverty in Bojonegoro Regency. This program is one of the efforts made by the Government to improve the welfare of the poor as a form of responsibility and concern from the Government to reduce poverty rates. This study adopts a qualitative method with a case study approach. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. Data collection was carried out through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The researcher applies Mark Moore's theory of public value, namely Legitimacy and Support, Operational Capability, and Substantial Value. The findings of the study show that the Welfare Sheep program has succeeded in increasing the income of beneficiary families in the form of increasing the number of sheep. However, the availability of quality feed is still the main obstacle to the program's sustainability because of sheep deaths. This happens because no technology can increase livestock productivity through feed. By using modern technology, the feed management process becomes faster, more effective, efficient, and can help meet the nutritional needs of sheep in real-time and allows farmers to produce more nutritious feed that is in accordance with the nutritional needs of sheep.

Etika Konsumsi Pakaian Thrifting dalam Perspektif Maslahah di Kalangan Generasi Z: Antara Hemat dan Konsumtif

This study aims to analyze the ethics of thrifting goods consumption in the perspective of maslahah among Generation Z, focusing on the balance between thrift and consumptive goods. The thrifting trend that is rampant among young people is influenced by economic motivation and environmental awareness, but also presents a risk of consumptive behavior due to the influence of social media. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with semi-structured interview techniques to active students aged 19-24 years who have experience shopping for thrifting goods. The results of the study show that thrifting consumption supports cost savings and environmental sustainability, but can trigger consumptive behavior if not managed wisely. From the perspective of maslahah, thrifting brings benefits (maslahah) when carried out according to the needs and principles of simplicity, but has the potential to cause mafsadah if it only follows trends or prestige. This finding emphasizes the importance of awareness when purchasing thrifiting clothes to be in accordance with the principles of maslahah to create balanced and ethical consumption behavior.

Critical learning method in writing class: What do learners think about it?

The change of paradigm from "teaching" to "learning': facilitated with critical learning method (CLM) is able to create more meaningful learning environment and experience for university students. However, there might be rejections from teachers, students, or administrators. The current research focuses on students' problems, especially those who joined Writing II class at the English Department of Hasanuddin University. This study was conducted as action research. Two CLM lesson plans were developed and applied in the writing class, and the class interactions were videotaped. The videos were shown to respondents at the end of the semester. Respondents' perceptions were investigated by using free writing and interview techniques. The results revealed that the respondents had positive perception about CLM. However, lecturers need to consider the different levels of learners' proficiency, and to provide relevant reading assignments prior to each session of writing activities.

ANALYSIS OF THE IMPACT OF NATURAL HAZARDS ON TOURISM ON THE LEFT BANK OF LAKE IZVORU MUNTELUI (NORTH-EASTERN ROMANIA)

One of the areas with great touristic potential in Romania’s mountains is Izvoru Muntelui Lake (Neamt county) from the western slopes of the Stânișoara Mountains in the Eastern Carpathians. The area is remarkably picturesque in terms of both the natural surroundings and history, including traditions, folklore, and ethnography. Nevertheless, the region is exposed to natural risk phenomena such as floods, landslides, crumbling, etc., which can affect different economic fields, including tourism. The present study aims to analyze the relationship between this zone's natural hazards and tourism activities and their impact. Our approach is based on quantitative and qualitative analysis, interview and questionnaire techniques, but also on literature review, field research, statistics, overlay and spatial mapping of data using GIS techniques and critical interpretation of results through mathematical statistics using Covariance Product of Deviations from the mean and the Bravais-Pearson linear correlation coefficient to measure the intensity of the interdependence between the degree of damage to the road infrastructure and the tourist infrastructure. The results show that the landslides significantly impact the public infrastructures between Poiana Teiului and Bicaz, heavily affecting the national road DN15. A total of 73 impact points were inventoried, representing sections of roads and road infrastructure elements affected by landslides. At the same time, the analysis of the responses to the questionnaire revealed that natural hazards, especially landslides and floods, are perceived as a threat by most tourism operators in the area. The classification of the vulnerability of tourism infrastructure into four categories (low, medium, high, and very high), based on susceptibility maps, has led to the determination of vulnerability to landslides, revealing the following findings: four accommodation units have a medium vulnerability index, two have a high vulnerability index, and one records a very high vulnerability index. It is highlighted that an accurate perception of natural hazards can contribute to increasing the awareness and preparedness of vulnerable people, thus increasing the resilience of present and future generations.

Semiotic Meanings of Artefacts in Toba Batak Ceremonies Across Some Regions In North Sumatera, Indonesia: A Study on Variations And Changes

Toba Batak ethnic groups have resided in various sub-regions of Toba region of North Sumatera, Indonesia, since hundreds of years ago. They have practiced many ceremonies and used artefacts to support their cultural behaviours in practicing the ceremonies. Ceremonies of Baptism, Wedding, and Entering a New House practiced by the Batak ethnic groups in four sub-regions of Toba region: Sibisa, Limbong Sagala, Sait ni Huta, and Lumban Siagian were taken as the sources of data. This study was intended to find artefacts and meaning variations they put to them across the four sub-regions and changing of artefacts and their meanings across times and the sub-regions. To obtain the objectives, researcher used qualitative research of ethnographic design. The data were collected using interview and documentary techniques. The data were analysed in three cycling steps of data condensation, data display, and drawing and verifying conclusion techniques. The research results revealed: 11 out of 36 artefacts have meaning variations; and three artefacts get meaning changes across the four sub-regions. Based on the findings, attempts of preserving Toba Batak cultures are highly recommended by the old to the young generations. Government should facilitate for establishing institutions concerning ethnic cultures

How Can We Make Information on Equity in Clinical Guidelines More Usable for Clinicians? A Case Study Methodology of General Practitioners.

Clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) are moving toward greater consideration of population-level differences, like health inequities, when creating management recommendations. CPGs have the potential to reduce or perpetuate health inequities. The intrinsic design factors of electronic interfaces that contain CPGs are known barriers to guideline use. There is little existing guidance on supporting the uptake of equity-specific recommendations within CPGs by end users. To investigate (1) How do General Practitioners (GPs) use Therapeutic Guidelines to adapt their clinical management for disadvantaged populations and do they support equity recommendations in this CPG? (2) How could Therapeutic Guidelines embed health equity information into their guidelines? The Therapeutic Guidelines was used as a case study as it is the most frequently used CPG in Australian healthcare settings. We employed descriptive qualitative methods, focused on semistructured interviews with 17 eligible GPs. Interviews were structured around four case studies that initially explored the management of a patient from the general population, with their details then changed so they belonged to a disadvantaged population. We used a 'think aloud' interview technique to explore the clinician's application of CPGs. Three themes were developed relating to: (1) GPs agree that health equity information needs to be intentionally included in guidelines and should focus on disadvantaged subgroups to support their clinical decision-making, (2) GPs want CPGs to include equity information which is relevant to the purpose and use of each guideline, acknowledging that other clinical aids could provide additional information when needed, (3) GPs want clearer signposting of information within guidelines to help navigation of key sections, highlighting the utility of symbols, colours and dropdown functions. This research extends existing literature by showing that including equity information tailored to the articulated purpose of each CPG, as perceived by end users, may maximise uptake. Our outlined strategies could be used by CPG developers to make equity-focused management recommendations more accessible. This may increase the implementation of equity-focused recommendations by clinicians, supporting current primary care strategies in achieving more equitable outcomes.

Kepemimpinan Yang Mengelola Emosi, Membangun Lingkungan Kerja Yang Sehat Dan Produktif Pada Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Provinsi Banten

Effective leadership in organizations relies heavily on a leader's ability to manage emotions, both in individual and team contexts. This study aims to explore how leadership that is able to manage emotions can build a healthy and productive work environment in the Banten Provincial Environmental Agency. This study used a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques and observation of several leaders and staff at the agency. The results showed that leaders who can manage emotions well, such as empathy, self-control, and effective communication, tend to create a more harmonious and supportive work atmosphere. This healthy environment contributes to increased work productivity, employee engagement and overall job satisfaction. This study provides recommendations for leaders in the Banten Provincial Environmental Agency to further develop their emotional intelligence skills to create a culture of emotional intelligence. A more positive and sustainable work environment. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that leadership that manages emotions well plays an important role in creating a healthy and productive work environment at the Banten Provincial Environmental Service. Leaders who have the ability to control their own emotions, empathize, and communicate effectively can build positive relationships with staff and create a conducive work atmosphere. This healthy environment in turn increases employee motivation, job satisfaction and productivity. Therefore, it is important for leaders in the Banten Provincial Environmental Agency to continue to develop their emotional intelligence, both in interactions with the team and in decision-making, in order to achieve optimal performance and sustainability in the organization

CONTENT AND LANGUAGE INTEGRATED LEARNING (CLIL) IN THE CLASSROOM: INDONESIAN TEACHERS’ EXPERIENCES AND CHALLENGES

This study investigated Indonesian teachers' perceptions of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) implementation at Fatih Bilingual School Banda Aceh. Guided by Vygotsky's zone of proximal development theory, the research employed a mixed-methods approach, combining case study and interview techniques. Data were collected from eight teachers who taught subjects in English, with two teachers selected for in-depth interviews. Findings revealed positive perceptions of CLIL among teachers, who reported improvements in both students' language and content knowledge. Despite limited prior knowledge of CLIL, teachers expressed enthusiasm for its potential to enhance learning. However, challenges emerged, particularly in working with English beginner students and managing the demands of teaching both content and language simultaneously. The study's implications for CLIL implementation in Indonesian schools include the need for ongoing professional development and support for teachers, as well as the importance of carefully considering the language proficiency levels of students. Future research could explore the long-term effects of CLIL on student outcomes and investigate its effectiveness in different educational contexts

PEMAKAIAN SAPAAN KEKERABATAN BAHASA ACEH DI KECAMATAN KUTA BARO KABUPATEN ACEH BESAR

This study aims to examine the use of kinship greetings in Acehnese language in Kuta Baro District, Aceh Besar Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research location is focused on three villages, namely Deyah, Cot Preh, and Cot Beut. The research data are in the form of sentences containing greeting words. The data sources for this study were obtained from 10 informants, each consisting of 2 people in each research location. Data collection was carried out using interview, recording, and note-taking techniques. Data analysis was carried out through several steps, namely reading all data carefully, recording kinship greetings, classifying data based on lineage and marriage, and concluding the results of the study. The results showed that the kinship greeting system in Acehnese language in Kuta Baro District is categorized into two, namely greetings based on lineage and marriage. Forms of greetings based on lineage include greetings for great-grandparents: Syik Tu, Nek Tu; greetings for grandfathers and grandmothers: Syik, Abusyik, Nek, Nyak; greetings for parents: Father, Abu, Abi, Pak, Mak, Ummi, Bunda; and various greetings for children, grandchildren, and siblings. Greetings based on marriage line include greetings for husbands: Lakoe, Linto, Abang; greetings for wives: Inong, Ureung Inong, Adek; and greetings for in-laws, in-laws, and in-laws. These greetings show variations based on gender, age, and position in the family

Prevention is Better Than a Cure: Fine-Tuning the Hospitality-Sector Human Resource in the Face of Crisis

ABSTRACT The extant hospitality literature has paid inadequate attention to the crisis preparedness and readiness stage. Drawing on contingency planning (CP) theory, the current study explores how hotel supervisors in Ethiopia comprehend crisis-context and operationalize strategic human resources development (SHRD) features in this regard. The study adopts qualitative-exploratory research design and collects data from 42 hotel supervisory-level managers through semi- structured interview technique. Two major aggregate themes, including “understanding the context of crisis” and “operationalizing SHRD to proactively deal with crisis”, were generated to achieve the set objectives. Findings reveal that study participants poorly recognized the multitude of internal and external factors affecting crisis planning. In addition, they did not establish crisis-education and communication platforms, nor were they familiar with crisis-focused laws, codes, and norms. Successively, the study proposes an integrated framework for SHRD and crisis planning in the hotel sector. At the end, it presents relevant implications, limitations, and potential research directions.

Implementasi Beragama Maslahat dan Berkebudayaan Maju dalam Kehidupan Keluarga Muhammadiyah Kota Surakarta

The application of the concept of religious welfare and advanced culture is an important strategy in facing the challenges of modernity and in line with the vision of the 2025-2045 RPJPN to build a harmonious, inclusive, and sustainable society. The Muhammadiyah family in Surakarta City as part of one of the largest Islamic organizations in Indonesia, plays an important role in realizing these values through education, philanthropy, and cultural preservation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the concept of religious welfare and advanced culture in the lives of Muhammadiyah families in Surakarta City, and how these values can help families face the challenges of modernity and contribute to national development. The research method used is a qualitative approach with interview and documentation techniques. Data were obtained from Muhammadiyah family members, related literature, and relevant organizational policies. The results of the study show that Muhammadiyah families in Surakarta have succeeded in internalizing religious values through religion-based education, philanthropy through Lazismu, and inclusive health and education services.

Implementation of Ecological Sustainability Goals in Public Industrial Heritage Facilities in Europe

Industrial heritage tourism has been subject to increasing visitor interest, making Europe’s old factories, mines, and steelworks into attractive tourist installations. However, these facilities, like all other market players, impact the environment, and, therefore, their management should take into account achieving sustainable development goals. The purpose of this article is to identify key sustainability measures taken by public industrial heritage tourism facilities in Europe to protect the environment. This article discusses the results of a survey of administrators of public industrial heritage facilities in Europe. This research was carried out using the Computer Assisted Web Interview technique, sending a research questionnaire to facilities associated with the European Route of Industrial Heritage. The results indicate that these entities are taking numerous measures to implement environmental sustainability patterns, particularly in the areas of waste segregation, pollution and waste generation reduction, and low energy consumption in equipment purchases. Unfortunately, the survey shows that many of the stated actions are not being implemented, as only one in four managers has implemented a formal program related to the implementation of at least some sustainability principles or training conducted in this regard. Managers of industrial heritage sites also advocate for increased national and international cooperation between sites. The author also draws attention to the need to acquire green technologies and communicate the effects of these activities to stakeholders.

The intersection of Christian education and philosopher-feminist thought: Addressing child marriage in Indonesia

One of the global challenges addressed in this article, particularly in the Global South, is the high prevalence of child marriage. The author is situated in an area with one of the highest rates of child marriage in Indonesia. The rationale for selecting this case study is to examine the concept of spiritual freedom and its potential to empower women to challenge the oppression they face with regard to their bodies, rights, and futures. Child marriage should be regarded as a criminal act in the context of Christianity. However, this issue does not appear to be a prominent topic in educational institutions, places of worship, or global discourse. This research employs a qualitative methodology, utilising interview techniques with women who have experienced child marriage. The author then engaged in a process of reflection with feminist philosopher Iris Marion Young, concurrently addressing theological concerns and the role of Christian education. The findings indicate that Christianity and government policy on health are inextricably linked, as health is a divine mandate for humanity to fulfil its responsibilities.Contribution: This article makes a contribution to the field of research in Central Kalimantan and serves to proclaim to the global community that Christian education must address the issue of child marriage as a matter of urgency.

Adaptation Strategies for Fishermen's Food Security in Facing Climate Change in the Coastal Village of Malabro, Bengkulu City

Climate change affects fishermen's food security in Bengkulu City, especially in the Malabro urban village. The condition of small fishing communities experiencing climate change due to extreme weather has reduced fish production. As a result of the impact of climate change, small fishermen cannot go to sea. This research aims to determine the adaptation strategy for fishermen's food security in facing climate change in Malabro urban village, Bengkulu City. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach. Sampling techniques in this study use observation, documentation, and interview techniques. aiming at 100 people who were taken, namely small fishermen/fishing laborers in the Malabro village of Bengkulu city. To determine the respondents depth interview. The results of the research indicate that the food security of fishermen in Malabro villages is not food resistant, where the Income of fishermen is generated when the weather is bad. The presentation of low fishermen's Income is 32%, categorized as Income with average results below the minimum wage of Rp. 1000,000. 41% fishermen have with incomes come with an average income of Rp.1300,000, - Rp. 2000,000. 23% of income in the high category with an average income of around Rp.2000,000- Rp.4,500,000, and finally, 4% of Income in the very high category with an average income of Rp. 4,500,000- Rp. 6,000,000. Fishermen's Food Security Level in the category of food availability in fish production when experiencing climate change, the amount of fish obtained from fishing amounts to 50-60kg, and fish production when not experiencing climate change, the results obtained range from 100 kg-150 kg. in food access. The fishing community in Malabro especially small fishermen do not have agricultural land and do not produce food directly so it can be concluded that fishermen's food security can be categorized as not food resistant.
