METHODS: Cases with complex renal tumors (RENAL nephrometry score 10 and higher), treated with robotic partial nephrectomy, were evaluated in terms of age, body mass index, tumor size, baseline eGFR, operative time, warm ischemia time, estimated blood loss, length of hospital stay, post-operative eGFR and tumor characteristics. The surgical steps of robotic partial nephrectomy are demonstrated in 2 separate cases. First case is a 55 year old male, diagnosed with a 8.7 x 7.8 cm solid, enhancing, left renal mass, with a RENAL nephrometry score of 11a and the second case is a 46 year old female, diagnosed with a 5.2 x 4.5 cm solid, enhancing, left renal mass, with a RENAL nephrometry score of 10a. RESULTS: We used the same robotic partial nephrectomy technique in 72 patients with complex renal tumors. The demographic and outcome data are presented in Table 1. CONCLUSIONS: Robotic partial nephrectomy is a safe and reproducible procedure for the treatment of complex renal tumors.
