The Effect of Google Classroom-Assisted Realistic Mathematics Education Approach on Students’ Mathematical Reasoning Ability

Mathematical reasoning is an important aspect, but there are still many students who are weak when it comes to mathematical reasoning. Factors that affect the level of mathematical reasoning of low students, including: a) students easily forget the material taught; b) the student has no idea in completing it; c) students are not careful in understanding the problems in the problem; d) students do not understand which formula will be used in solving the problem; e) Students do not understand the concept of the material. This research aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of the approach realistic mathematics education helpgoogle classroomon mathematical reasoning abilities. Quantitative Approach method used in this researchpre-experimental design with one group pretest posttest design. The research subject is the experimental class. Data collection was carried out with pretest and posttest data on the mathematical reasoning abilities of grade 7 students at one of the junior high schools in Purwasari district, kabupaten Karawarang. Data analysis techniques in this study that is analyze the scores of pretest and posttest results students by t-test for 2 dependent samples (Paired Sample T-Test) done with the help of IBM SPSS 21 software. The research results show that there is value of sig 0,000 < 0,05 which means a positive influence approach realistic rathematic education help google classroomon ability students' mathematical reasoning. Based on the result, we can be concluded that there is a positive influence of the approach realistic mathematic education help google classroomon students mathematical reasoning abilities. The learning process uses an approach realistic mathematic education help google classroom can be used as an alternative learning to improve students mathematical reasoning abilities.

Development of Prediction Models to Detect the Presence of MGMT Promoter Methylation for Prognosis of Brain Tumor

Methylation of the MGMT promoter is a molecular marker of predictive relevance in brain tumors. Methylation of the MGMT promoter is related to an improved prognosis and may influence therapy decisions. According to the most recent Malaysian National Cancer Registry Report (MNCRR) for 2012–2016, there were 2097 cases of brain tumors in Malaysia overall, with 1117 cases involving men and 908 cases involving women. This research aims to create prediction models for detecting MGMT promoter methylation in brain tumors. So, a dataset from the BraTS (Brain Tumor Segmentation) challenge, which included MRI scans and clinical data for patients with brain tumors, was utilized and explored using Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and data visualization techniques. The dataset has 306 methylation cases identified as “1” and 276 unmethylated cases identified as “0”. The average number of scans of train data for modality per patient is between 127 and 171, which provides a wealth of information for pattern learning while the average number of scans of test data for modality per patient is between 124 and 165. In both sets, FLAIR has the least number of files while T2w has the highest number of files among them. Two models of deep learning approaches, ResNet50 and EfficientNetV2, were used to construct and form the prediction models. Various criteria were employed to evaluate the performance of the models. The T2w modality consistently achieved the highest validation accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score for both the ResNet50 and EfficientNetV2 models. Specifically, the T2w modality achieved a validation accuracy of 0.9453 and a validation loss of 0.2417 for ResNet50. Furthermore, the brain tumor diagnosis interface utilized DICOM images from MRI scans to identify MGMTp methylation status, aiding in therapy effectiveness prediction. Pre-trained ResNet50 model on T2w images was used for classification. The interface displayed the original MRI image, predicted state, and treatment effectiveness indication, while promptly notifying users of invalid or inadequate data for accurate analysis.

Spatio-temporal Evolution of Land Use in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Economic Area, 1985-2022 and Analysis of Influencing Factors

This research employs GIS and remote sensing technology, along with time-series Land cover data, to examine the evolving patterns of various land use categories (such as forest land, cultivated land, and impervious surfaces) within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The results indicate that the predominant spatial configuration of land use in this region follows a sequence of "forest land-cultivated land-impervious land." Notably, the key transformation observed involves the conversion of cultivated land to impervious surfaces, resulting in a cumulative expansion of impervious areas by 3,346,985 hectares between 1985 and 2022. Moreover, the level of spatial integration among land use types in the Greater Bay Area is progressively standardizing, with notable advancements in scientific, technological, economic, and transportation sectors leading to a high degree of synergy. The system as a whole demonstrates effective coordination and operational efficiency. The methodology section outlines the data sources and analytical techniques employed, encompassing the utilization of the land use transfer matrix, individual land use degree assessment, and spatial coupling function model. Through these methodologies, the study identifies urban economic development as the primary driver behind the proliferation of impervious surfaces, offering valuable insights to inform regional development strategies and environmental governance policies.

Meningkatkan Sikap Kritis Siswa dengan Model PBL berbantuan Media Video Fase E Kelas X di SMA Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar

This research aims to enhance the critical thinking skills of 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model, supported by video media. The students' critical thinking is assessed based on their ability to analyze information, distinguish between facts and opinions, and evaluate the reliability of the information they receive, particularly in relation to the influence of mass media. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design consisting of two cycles, with each cycle including the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the research showed a significant improvement in students' critical thinking from the first cycle to the second. In the first cycle, the average critical thinking score was only 68%, with the main weakness being the evaluation of information reliability. However, after improvements in the second cycle, the average score increased to 90%. Students became more engaged in group discussions, better able to analyze videos, and more critical in evaluating media content. The use of video as a learning medium was also found to be effective in facilitating visual and contextual understanding of the material. The research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques involved data reduction by selecting raw data into useful information, data presentation in the form of descriptions, graphs, and tables, and drawing conclusions based on the research findings that addressed the research questions. The use of the Problem-Based Learning model, supported by video media, followed the PBL syntax, including steps such as orienting students to the problem, organizing students for learning, guiding individual or group investigations, developing and presenting results, and analyzing and evaluating the problem-solving process. This approach proved effective in enhancing student motivation and independence in critical thinking and responsibility towards the influence of mass media in the 10th-grade class at SMA Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar. In conclusion, the implementation of the PBL model with video media significantly improved students' critical thinking skills. Recommendations include optimizing the use of video, providing more intensive support for students in need, strengthening group discussions, and continuing critical thinking exercises.

Analisis Perubahan Penggunaan Lahan Kawasan Kumuh Kecamatan Kandis Kabupaten Siak Tahun 2014 dan 2023

This research aims to identify the causes of land use change in the slum areas of Kandis Sub-district, Siak Regency, and analyze land use change from 2014 to 2023 using information maps. The method used is descriptive quantitative, with data analysis techniques based on weighting the quality of slum areas through geographic information systems (GIS) using GIS applications to identify location, distance, and settlement patterns. Sampling was done through proportional stratified random sampling. Data collection used primary data in the form of interviews and secondary data in the form of documentation studies. The results showed that: (1) The causes of land use change in Kandis Sub-district slum areas include an increase in population density every year, narrow spacing between buildings (1.5 to 3 meters), lack of clean water infrastructure, inadequate drainage, inadequate toilet conditions, and lack of waste disposal facilities. Community income is also low, below Rp. 1,000,000 per month. (2) The area of the slum area has increased significantly, from 0.27 Ha in 2014 to 9.6 Ha in 2023.

Analysis of the Implementation of the Merit System in the Mataram City Government from a Gender Perspective

Human resources (apparatus) are the basis of the bureaucratic reform movement. Human resources are one aspect of achieving the goals of government organizations, namely providing optimal public services. Therefore, it is necessary to implement a merit system to obtain human resources, in this case specifically the best State Civil Apparatus (ASN) who do not consider male or female gender, including in the process of filling pratama high leadership positions (JPT) in scope of the Mataram City Government. This research aims to describe the implementation of the merit system in the Mataram City government from a gender aspect. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods consisting of in-depth interviews and document review. Data analysis uses qualitative data analysis techniques. The validity of the data was tested using triangulation techniques. Research provides an illustration that the Mataram City government has basically implemented a merit system in ASN management. When filling out the JPT, preparation, implementation and evaluation stages have been carried out in accordance with the provisions. Basically, the number of female ASNs in the city of Mataram is more than male. Likewise, the educational level of female ASN is better than that of men. However, if we look at it in terms of rank and class, the number of men is increasing, this will make the opportunity for men to occupy top positions in the bureaucracy greater. The Mataram city government consistently provides opportunities for women at the rate of 10 percent and hopes that in the future this will be further increased.

Penerapan Metode Mind Mapping Menggunakan Aplikasi Draw.Io Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep pada Mata Pelajaran Teknologi Informasi & Komunikasi di MA Negeri 1 Kuningan

This study aims to determine students' understanding of concepts by using the Mind Mapping method using Draw.io application in the subject of Information and Communication Technology at MA Negeri 1 Kuningan. The method used used a quantitative approach with the type of quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample used in this study was divided into 2 classes (experimental and control) with a total of 62 students. The data collection technique used is using tests/questions and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used were validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests (t tests). Pengaruh Kepemimpinan dan Komunikasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT. Duta Indah Global Kencana

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of leadership and communication on employee performance at PT.Duta Indah Global Kencana. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Duta Indah Global Kencana totaling 56 people. The sampling technique used is using saturated samples. The data collection technique in this study uses a questionnaire distributed to employees of PT. Duta Indah Global Kencana. This study uses a quantitative method and the collected data is processed with SPSS 25. Data analysis techniques in this research use classical assumption tests, multiple regression, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that leadership and communication have a significant effect on employee performance.

Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikiri Kritis dan Kreatifitas Siswa dengan Model Problem Base Learning (PBL) pada Siswa Kelas IV Fase B di SD Negeri 12 Sungai Risap

This research aims to describe the application of the Problem Base Learning (PBL) model in improving the critical and creative thinking abilities of class IV phase B students at SD 12 Sungai Risap. As well as describing how the critical thinking skills and creativity of class IV phase B students at SD 12 Sungai Risap increased after implementing PBL. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK), entitled "Improving Students' Critical Thinking Abilities and Student Creativity with the PBL Model in Class IV Phase B Students at SD Negeri 12 Sungai Risap." This research was carried out at SDN 12 Sungai Risap, Binjai Hulu District, Sintang Regency from 13 to 19 September 2024. This research was carried out using the Problem Based Learning model. The research subjects were students of class IV Phase B at SDN 12 Sungai Risap. The research object was the application of the Problem Base Learning (PBL) model in improving the critical and creative thinking abilities of class IV phase B students at SD 12 Sungai Risap. The research was carried out in two classroom actions. The activity stages include planning, implementation, observation, analysis and reflection which are carried out face to face. Data collection was carried out by making direct observations and distributing questionnaires to students. Data analysis techniques are carried out through data collection, data condensation, presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model can improve the critical thinking skills of class IV Phase B students at SD 12 Sungai Risap. Overall, PBL forces students to be active in their learning process, thereby improving critical thinking skills by teaching them to analyze, evaluate, and make better decisions. The application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model can increase the creativity of class IV Phase B students at SD 12 Sungai Risap. Use of Innovative Ideas, Diverse Learning Outcome Products, Alternative Approaches to Problem Solving, Deeper Exploration. Overall, PBL facilitates increased critical thinking and creativity in students by placing them in learning situations that require complex and innovative problem solving.

Development of Learning Video Media in Biology Subjects

The purpose of this study is to produce valid and practical learning video media for use in the learning process. This research is a development research used to produce a product in the form of learning video media. The stages in this development include: planning stage, design stage, and development stage. The subjects in this study were 2 validators consisting of learning media experts and content or learning media material experts, 31 grade XI science students and 1 Biology subject teacher. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were Qualitative Descriptive Analysis, and Descriptive Static Analysis. Research on this offers novelty in the form of more visual and interactive learning media, allowing students to understand complex biological concepts through interesting graphical and animated representations. In addition, these learning videos provide flexibility for students to learn independently and repeatedly, thus improving conceptual understanding and accommodating various learning styles.

Tradisi “Marhaban” dalam Perspektif Maqashid Syari’ah

This study aims to further understand how the “marhaban” tradition is carried out in Semurup, Kerinci Regency. The focus is to what extent the “marhaban” tradition meets or may conflict with the principles of maqashid sharia. This study is an empirical study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Through this field research, the author will try to explore primary data sourced from the relevant place, namely in Semurup, Kerinci Regency. Data collection techniques are carried out by interview and observation. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction and classification, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study show that the “marhaban” tradition is carried out by completing the Qur'an first, dhikr, and prayers, strengthening family relationships, and maintaining cultural identity by involving community members and there is no waste or unnecessary expenditure in its implementation to maintain balance and justice in the management of the property. Parents also get inner peace because they feel they have started their children's lives with the blessings and protection of Allah.

FAKTOR-FAKTOR PENENTU MUSLIM MILENIAL BERINSVESTASI DI TABUNGAN EMAS SYARIAH

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the interest of millennial Muslims to invest in sharia gold savings in Malang City. The population in this study were those who were included in the millennial generation with a birth range of 1980 to 2000 in Malang City. The sampling technique used the accidental sampling method with a total of 100 respondents. The data source in this study was primary data. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires via Google Form. The data analysis technique, namely SEM or Structural Equation Model modeling, was used as a research data processing technique with the help of the SmartPLS 4.0 test tool. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the knowledge factor has a significant effect on the interest in investing in sharia gold savings, (2) the security factor does not have a significant effect on the interest in investing in sharia gold savings (3) the investment risk perception factor has a significant effect on the interest in investing in sharia gold savings.

Dampak Pengunaan Gadget pada Perkembangan Karakter Siswa Sekolah MI Muhammadiyah Segong

The purpose of this study is to find out how the use of student gadgets in MI Muhammdiyah Segong school, namely cellphones, has an impact on the growth of student character in MI Segong Muhammadiyah school. The type of research is qualitative descriptive, which is a research process that is carried out to analyze the information obtained in the form of words, daily behavior how to use student gadgets at MI Muhammdiyah Segong school. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are: data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Then analyze the results of observations and interviews from the results of the research. Based on the results of the study, it was found that character formation is quite difficult to direct due to the lack of consistent supervision from parents in the use of gadgets. Children are used to giving gadgets after doing homework and when given gadgets there are no rules for when using gadgets so that children spend more time using gadgets by playing games and watching entertainment videos until they forget about educational obligations. The school in shaping the character of students is quite good in the teacher's strategy that uses methods in discussions with parents in terms of the use of gadgets for children. As well as conducting learning in the classroom to form better character values and provide positive examples to students.

Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Pendidikan Agama Katolik dan Budi Pekerti Materi Manusia Pribadi Unik Model Problem Based Learning Berbantuan Power Point di Kelas X-3 Fase E SMA Negeri 7 Medan

This study aims to improve students' understanding of the concept of self as a unique person in Catholic teachings with the help of interesting and Visual Power Point. This study was conducted at SMA Negeri 7 Medan in Class X-3 with the subjects of this study were 9 students. Based on the analysis of data on the initial reflection which still showed that student learning outcomes were still lacking, the study was conducted by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in learning Unique Personal Humans. To improve student learning outcomes. The use of Power Point with conventional methods, for example, lectures without Media is very important, especially in learning unique personal material. The study showed that the group using Power Point had significantly better learning outcomes compared to the Control group. So this can indicate that Power Point can be an interesting and effective alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Catholic Religious Studies. in Catholic Religious Education. This study was conducted in class X-3 Phase E. Data collection techniques were observation and testing. The data analysis technique used was qualitative descriptive technique. According to the results of the research that has been conducted, the following conclusions were obtained: Learning activities using the Problem Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes on the Unique Human Personality material.

Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Dan Kolaborasi Dalam Pakbp Menggunakan Model Problem Based Learning Berbatuan Media Puzzle Pada Fase C Kelas VI

The background of this study is the decrease of the students’ learning outcomes and the minimum of their attitude in collaborating group assignments in classes. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) has two cycles which each cycle consists of plan, action, observation, and reflection. The purpose of this research is to describe the learning model based on problem-based learning using puzzle for 31 students at Bunda Hati Kudus Elementary school, Jakarta in grade six on phase C. Observing, testing, and documenting are implemented for the data gathering. Data analysis techniques in research are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The result of the research shows the increase in student learning outcomes and the growth of collaborative attitudes as a manifestation of the dimensions of the Pancasila learning profile have proven to increase. Student learning outcomes and collaborative attitudes obtained in cycle I with sufficient qualifications (C) increased to good qualifications (B) in cycle II. The conclusion is that puzzle learning media improves learning outcomes and collaborative attitudes through Prophet Elijah material in phase C of grade 6 at Bunda Hati Kudus Elementary School, Jakarta.

Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Wordwall untuk Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa Kelas VII SMPN 1 Cipicung

The purpose of this study is to increase the effectiveness of woodwall media on the learning interest of SMPN 1 Cipicung students. The method used in this study uses a quantitative approach with pre-experimental designs (non-designs) in the form of intact-group comparison). The instruments used are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The research data obtained from the data of the results of the questionnaire that was declared valid using the instrument test, namely the validity and reliability test. Data analysis techniques used normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests. The results of data analysis show that ICT learning using wordwall media has been effectively applied to increase the learning interest of grade VII students of SMPN 1 Cipicung. In the delivery of learning materials, it shows the effect of direct involvement between teachers and students so that it can facilitate the teaching and learning process so that the expected goals can be achieved, especially in increasing students' interest in learning.

Good Governance, Internal Control, and Village Financial Management Performance: Examining the Moderating Effect of Tri Hita Karana in Denpasar City

The village fund program in Indonesia is planned to support the development and implementation of the Village Government. The village fund program certainly requires village officials to be able to carry out accountable financial management. Village financial management must be managed properly in accordance with the principles of good governance and implement good internal control. However, in practice, there are still some irregularities that occur in village financial management, one of which has occurred in Denpasar City, Bali Province, Indonesia. These irregularities are generally committed by individuals who do not have good ethics and morals. Therefore, it is necessary to harmonize the concept of village government management with the cultural values of local wisdom that developed in Bali, one of which is the concept of Tri Hita Karana culture. Through a strong positive culture, it can undoubtedly produce good performance and achievement for each individual and organization. This study aims to examine the ability of Tri Hita Karana to moderate the effect of good governance and internal control on village financial management performance in Denpasar City. This study uses a quantitative approach using primary data. Data collection techniques with questionnaires. This research was conducted in all villages in Denpasar City. Sample determination using nonprobability sampling method with purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used was Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that good governance and internal control had a positive effect on village financial management performance. Tri Hita Karana culture cannot moderate the effect of good governance and internal control on village financial management performance in Denpasar City. The application of the principles of good governance and internal control can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of village financial management. Although the Tri Hita Karana culture has been developing for a long time in Bali, the community has not been able to fully integrate these cultural values in formal practice activities. So that in the future it still requires improvement and better adjustment.

The Class Action Research Report in this study aims to find out whether student learning achievement has increased after implementing the Problem Based Learning Model in Catholic Religious Education and Character Education Subjects for Students in Class VII of SMPN 4 Lahewa in 2023/2024? The research object is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model, the form of research is Classroom Action Research with a cycle model, each cycle consists of four stages including: planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage and reflection stage. The data analysis technique used consists of data reduction by selecting raw data into information, data presentation, namely presenting data in the form of descriptions, graphs, tables and drawing conclusions by making conclusions from research results that refer to the problem formulation. The use of the Problem Based Learning model according to the syntax which includes orienting students to problems, organizing students to learn, guiding individual and group investigations, developing and presenting results, analyzing and evaluating the problem solving process, is effective in helping increase learning motivation and student independence in material I Am the Unique Image of God in class VIII of SMPN 4 Lahewa The data collection technique used by researchers was to observe students' activities guided by the P3 rubric. The results of observations from the three participants from the five students in cycle 1 averaged 74% and in cycle II 88% while the learning outcomes were in cycle! I the average was 81.5%, and in cycle II it increased to an average of 86.2%. The increase was seen to be 14% higher than before.

Effect of concentric strategy on the performance of Commercial State Corporations in Kenya

The study sought to assess the effect of concentric strategy on the performance of Commercial State Corporations in Kenya. A cross-sectional correlational design was adopted as the study design. The target population was 1,026 senior managers of the Commercial State Corporations. The sample size was 99 senior managers in Commercial State Corporations. Primary data was gathered using a structured questionnaire. Collected data was analysed using descriptive data analysis techniques (Mean, Standard Deviation, Maximum and Minimum) and regression analysis. The results were presented using tables and figures. The study established a significant effect of concentric strategy on the financial, customers and internal business process performance of Commercial State Corporations in Kenya (β =0.829, p=0.000<0.05; β =0.648, p=0.000<0.05). Only learning, growth, and development as a measure of a Balanced Scorecard were not affected by the concentric strategy of the Commercial State Corporations. This study concludes that the concentric strategy significantly improved the financial, customer, and internal business process performance of Commercial State Corporations in Kenya, as supported by statistical evidence. However, it had no significant effect on learning, growth, and development performance. The study recommends that Commercial State Corporations in Kenya establish policies for strategic partnerships, develop performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators, and regularly monitor progress to effectively implement concentric strategies and enhance long-term performance.

Development of a canva-based heyzine flipbooks e-module as an alternative learning resources on pancasila education subjects

The purpose of this research is that the learning materials used by teachers in the learning of Pancasila Education are judged to be boring, less interesting, difficult, confusing and cause students' knowledge to be less than maximum. The purpose of this study is to develop Canva-based Heyzine Flipbooks e-module learning media on smartphones/laptops as a Pancasila Education learning medium as well as find out the feasibility and assessment of Canva-based Heyzine Flipbooks e-module as an alternative learning resource on Pancasila Education subject. This study was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. The subjects of the study were class XI-Matlanfor students at Percut Sei Tuan Secondary School 1, and this study used the research and development method developed by Willis. The development model used was R2D2.Questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation were used as data collection techniques in this study. Data analysis technique This study used both qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis. The qualitative data of this study were obtained from validators, subject matter experts and the media at the validation stage. Quantitative constitutes data describing the results of product development in the form of e-module-based learning media Heyzine Flipbooks based on Canva. The obtained data were then analyzed using the formula of validity percentage(%) = tse/tsh x 100. The results of the study stated that the heyzine flipbooks on E-module learning were perceived as very useful and very interesting to use in the field because of the research data obtained from media experts, subject matter experts,PPKn teachers and student responses were declared very viable categories with the acquisition of subject matter expert validation of 98%, media expert validation of 98% and teacher evaluation of 96%. The very feasible category was then reinforced with a student response of 93% with the very interesting category. This proves that learning media is highly recommended to be applied in SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan
