The Effect of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Cooperative Learning Model Assisted by Educandy Application on Student Learning Outcomes on Ecology Material

The learning model is one of the causes of the lack of student motivation in learning problems so that it affects student learning outcomes. The use of the right learning model is one of the determinants of success in learning activities carried out by teachers. This study aims to analyze the effect of TGT learning model assisted by educandy on student learning outcomes on ecology material. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The sample amounted to 28 students selected through cluster random sampling technique. Cognitive aspect learning outcomes were obtained through pretest and posttest. Learning ecology material through the TGT model assisted by educandy makes students participate actively so that the learning stages are carried out very well. The cognitive learning outcomes of students using the TGT model assisted by educandy obtained a score of 82 with an n-gain value of 0.62 with moderate criteria. While in the control class, students' cognitive learning outcomes obtained a score of 70 and an n-gain value of 0.45 with a moderate category. The results of the t-test analysis obtained a significant value of 0.000 <0.005 means the hypothesis is accepted. There is an effect of TGT learning model assisted by educandy application on student learning outcomes on ecology material.

Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Materi Perkalian Melalui Model Kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Siswa Kelas IV-A SDN Pakis 1 Surabaya

This Classroom Action Research aimed to enhance the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Pakis 01 Surabaya in understanding the multiplication of whole numbers up to 100. The study involved 27 students. Data was collected through observation, tests, and documentation. The cooperative learning model, Teams Games Tournament (TGT), was implemented. Results indicated a significant improvement in students' mathematics achievement, particularly in multiplication, following the implementation of TGT. The percentage of students achieving mastery increased from 37.04% in the pre-cycle to 85.19% in Cycle II. This substantial improvement suggests that TGT effectively created an active, collaborative, and engaging learning environment, motivating students to participate more actively in the learning process. Furthermore, there was a notable increase in the class average across cycles. The implementation of TGT successfully achieved the research objective of enhancing students' understanding of the multiplication concept. Therefore, it is recommended that the TGT model be considered as an alternative to improve the quality of mathematics education in elementary schools.

Improving Students' Social Skills Through Cooperative Learning: The Effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Model. This research aims to describe the improvement in students' social skills after carrying out the learning process by implementing the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative model on vibration and wave material. The type of research used is a pre-experimental design with a one-shot case Study design. In this research, the subjects used were students in class VIII of one of the State Middle Schools in Sidoarjo. The indicators used in this research are being able to socialize with other people, being able to interact confidently, showing concern, reporting things accurately, completing tasks, avoiding bad behavior, respecting other people's opinions, controlling emotions, and being friendly. The results of the research show that all indicators have experienced a significant increase in the average social skills of students being well-trained as indicated by an increase in the percentage of students' skills at each meeting. At meetings I, II, and III respectively, the percentage increase was 52%, 71%, and 93%. Based on this, it can be concluded that Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning can be used to train students' social skills which is one aspect of cognitive development in vibration and wave material.

Increasing the Ability to Understand Mathematical Concepts through the Team Games Tournament (TGT) Model Assisted by the PhET Application

This research seeks to assess the enhancement of third-grade elementary students' understanding of mathematical concepts comprehension through the Team Games Tournament (TGT) instructional approach, supported by the PhET application, compared to traditional teaching methods. The study employs a quasi-experimental method using a nonequivalent control group design. A total of 63 third-grade students participated, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through multiple techniques, such as tests, observations, discussions, and photo and video records. The assessment tool used was a descriptive test measuring mathematical concept understanding and is stated to have met the requirements for content validity, construct validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and differentiation. The data analysis technique for hypothesis testing uses IBM SPSS Statistics 2.6 software, namely the normalized n-gain hypothesis test. As indicated by the research results, students' ability to understand mathematical concepts at SDN Pancasila Lembang experienced a significant increase after receiving learning using the Team Games Tournament (TGT) instructional approach supported by the PhET application. This is proven by the results of the n-gain data test calculation, which is 0.36 in the medium category. The posttest average score for the experimental group was 67.78 and the posttest average score for the control class was 30.32. This indicates that the improvement in mathematical concept understanding in the experimental group surpasses that of the control group. Consequently, it can be concluded that the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model, supported by the PhET application, is a recommended alternative for enhancing elementary students' ability to grasp mathematical concepts.

The research aims to determine the positive and significant influence of the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) Model on Learning Motivation for Christian Religious Education and Character in Class The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence between the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) Model on Learning Motivation for Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of Class XI Students of SMA Negeri 1 Ujung Padang, Simalungun Regency, Academic Year 2023/2024. This research is a regression research using Inferential Statistics techniques. The population of all class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Ujung Padang who are Protestant Christians is 138 people. Random sampling (random sampling) is 30% of the total population, namely 40 people. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. From the determination coefficient test, the value r2 = 0.555 is obtained. From the determination value (r2), it can be seen that the percentage of influence between the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) Model on the Learning Motivation of Christian Religious Education and Character of Class XI Students of SMA Negeri 1 Ujung Padang, Simalungun Regency, Academic Year 2023/ 2024 is 55.5%. The results of the analysis requirements obtained values ​​rxy = 0.745> rtable = 0.312 and tcount = 6.896> ttable = 2.024 showing that there is a relationship between the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) model and Christian Religious Education Learning Motivation and Character Characteristics of Students and obtained a regression equation Ŷ = 19.72 +0.564X. Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=47.55>Ftable=4.09 so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. 한국인 아랍어 전공 대학생의 학습동기와 학습경험/태도 중재방안에 관한 연구

This study investigates the motivational characteristics of Korean university students majoring in Arabic and develops motivational intervention strategies based on the findings. To achieve this goal, a survey was conducted using Dörnyei's (2005, 2009) “L2 Motivational Self System” with additional variables reflecting the socio-cultural context of Korea. The survey participants were 178 students majoring in Arabic or Arab studies at 5 domestic universities. Subsequent analysis of the survey responses revealed that augmenting learners' satisfaction with their learning experiences and improving their learning attitudes significantly contributed to intensifying their study efforts. To facilitate these improvements, the study indicates a need for intervention strategies that foster positive attitudes towards Arabs and Arab culture within Arabic language classrooms, while also capitalizing on the 'competition' factor. Finally, the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) model was selected and exemplified as a potential intervention strategy that aligns with the research findings.

Use Application Quiz in Model Tgt Learning (Team Games Tournament) to Improve Elementary School Multiplication Counting Skills

This research aims to describe the use of the quizizz application in the TGT (Team Games Tournament) learning model to improve elementary school multiplication numeracy skills in class III of SDN Sindangsari, Sukabumi Regency with a total of 28 students. The research method used was classroom action research (PTK) Kemmis and Mc Taggart model research design which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, action and observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques use tests in theform of pretests and posttests, and non-tests in the form of observations, interviews, field notes and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. From the pre-cycle learning completion cycle, only 29% or 8 students completed because they still used a formal learning model consisting of lectures, exercises and questions and answers. After implementing the Quizizz application in the TGT learning model in cycle I, it has been proven that there has been an improvement, although it is not yet visible significantly, completion was only 64% or 18 students who completed. Then, from the evaluation results of the previous cycle, the research continued with cycle II by adding improvements, the completion of learning results in increasing multiplication ability increased by 89% or 25 students. Therefore, the research was stopped classically because it had reached or exceeded the 85% achievement indicator. By combining the TGT Model with the use of the Quizzizz application in mathematics learning, teachers can create a learning environment that is stimulative, collaborative and interesting for students. This can help improve students' math skills through a team-based learning approach and utilizing digital technology as an effective learning tool.

The Influence of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) Learning Model Assisted by Wordwall on the Scientific Literacy of Class V Elementary School Students

This study aims to present the results of a study that compares the effectiveness of two learning methods, namely the Team Games Tournament (TGT) assisted by Wordwall and conventional learning methods, in improving the science literacy skills of grade V elementary school students. The research method uses a quasi-experimental method by using an experimental class applying TGT assisted by Wordwall, while the control class uses conventional learning methods. Data obtained from both groups of students were analyzed to evaluate the improvement of science literacy skills. The results showed that the experimental class experienced a significant improvement in science literacy skills compared to the control class. Wordwall-assisted TGT approach creates a more interactive, collaborative, and engaging learning environment for students, which encourages active participation and increases their motivation to learn. On the other hand, conventional methods show some students experiencing a decline in ability, highlighting the need for a more varied and interactive approach to learning. These results underscore the importance of innovation in learning methods to improve the quality of science education in primary schools, with great potential to apply the Wordwall-assisted TGT model widely in this context.

Peningkatan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas III Pada Materi Operasi Pengurangan Model Teams Games Tournament

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes and critical thinking abilities of class III students on subtraction operations material through the application of the Tems Gemes Tournament learning model. This type of research uses Class Action (PTK) which is carried out in 2 cycles. The data collection techniques used are planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The object of this research was class III students at SDN Pangendisan, totaling 16 students. The instruments in this research used observation, interviews and tests. This research shows that the application of the Teams Games Tournament model can improve students' learning outcomes and critical thinking abilities. The results of this research obtained that the average student learning outcomes in the pre-cycle were 23.9%, then increased in the first cycle to 70.24% with (KKM) of 67% and again increased in the second cycle, namely 83.57 with the category ( KKM) of 86%. With the learning results, it can be shown that students' thinking abilities in implementing the Teams Games Tournament model become more active, involved and able to solve mathematical problems. Thus, the Tems Games Tournament learning model improves learning outcomes and students' critical thinking skills in subtraction operations material. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Teams Games Tournament learning model can improve the Mathematics learning abilities of class III students at SDN Pangendisan.

Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif TGT Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Passing Kaki Bagian Dalam Pada Permainan Sepak Bola

The aim of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of inside foot passing in soccer games through the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model. The method used is classroom action research. The subjects of this research were all 35 students at MI Al Hidayah. The sequence of this research includes: 1. Planning, 2. Implementation, 3. Observation, 4. Reflection. Data collection uses lesson plans, observation sheets and documentation. Data analysis uses percentage descriptions. The research results show that in cycle 1 the average inside leg passing skill was 59, 5 students or 14% got a score above 75 (KKM). Meanwhile, in cycle 2 the average inside foot passing skill was 81%, there were 27 students who got a score above 75 (KKM) or 77%. The results of this research can conclude that applying the affective teams games tournament (TGT) learning model can improve learning outcomes for inside-leg passing in MI Al Hidayah students.

IMPLEMENTASI TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT MODEL MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DI SD ST. ANTONIUS BANGUN MULIA MEDAN

This study investigates the effectiveness of implementing the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model in enhancing students' motivation in the subject of Catholic Education for Grade V B at SD St. Antonius Bangun Mulia Medan during the academic year 2023/2024. The research adopts an action research approach with two cycles, where the first cycle showed students' motivation levels at a "Moderate" level (64%), while the second cycle exhibited a significant increase to a "High" level (82%). The findings reveal that consistently applying the TGT model enhances students' motivation. This motivation improvement is achieved through group interactions and educational games that create an enjoyable and interactive classroom atmosphere. The study recommends schools to implement the TGT model from the beginning of the semester to allow students time to adapt and experience the benefits of this teaching method, thereby sustaining student motivation throughout the learning process.

It is hoped that the Ferris wheel-assisted TGT model will not only be innovative learning, but can also influence student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on students' cognitive learning outcomes for the buffer solution using the Ferris wheel. A quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent groups and the posttest alone design approach is the research methodology used. Purposive sampling was employed during the sample process. All 294 students in class XI Mathematics and Natural Sciences at State High School 1 Lhokseumawe in the academic year 2022–2023 made up the population of this study. with a 50-student research sample. ways for gathering data, including tests, interviews, and observation. The research questions are evaluated with a school that is similar to the research location before being used in the study. The difficulty of the problems being examined, the discriminatory capacity, the validity, and the dependability of the tests are all taken into consideration. This study seeks to identify learning models that affect students' mathematics learning outcomes. Students at SMPN 3 Paron have poor or low learning outcomes, especially in the field of Harmony in the Triangle, because the indicators of the learning process in the school have not been optimal. One of the learning models that can be used is the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model with a contextual approach. This quantitative study used Postest only Control Design, with three samples selected using saturated sampling, one class as the experimental class and one class as the control class, and using one class, namely class VIII B as the test class. The samples have been distributed normally and homogeneousl. Data analysis using the T. Teams Games Tournament Test produced an average of 42.44, the conventional learning model produced an average of 62.39. Students who were taught using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model with a contextual approach obtained a better average and outperformed students who were taught using the convenive model or only the TGT model, as the calculation of this study obtained (Thitung = 3.024 is greater than Ttable = 2.120).

Critical thinking skills in mathematics are very important to develop, for this reason it is necessary to have a mathematics learning process that involves students actively, especially in the learning process in the classroom. The aim of this research is to determine the level of students' critical thinking abilities in learning using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model, as well as to determine the factors that inhibit and support learning using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model. The type of research used is qualitative research. Data collection techniques use observation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used is descriptive interpretative. The results of the research show that the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model really helps students understand the learning material. One of the things that supports learning using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model is the supporting media used, while the inhibiting factor in learning using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model is the lack of time in carrying out the learning process.

Evaluating the Impact of Team-Assisted Individualization and Team Games Tournament Approaches on Student Engagement in Science Learning

This study assesses the efficacy of the Teams Assisted Individualization (TAI) and Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning models in enhancing academic performance and engagement among Mathematics students. Utilizing a classroom action research approach, the study was conducted over two cycles, each comprising four stages: observation, initial data collection, implementation planning of TAI and TGT, and report preparation. The participants included 72 students from classes VII A and VII B. The research revealed significant improvements in student performance. In class VII A, utilizing TAI, the percentage of students meeting the minimum competency level (KKM) increased from 45% in the pre-action phase to 85% by the end of Cycle II. Similarly, in class VII B, under the TGT model, the percentage of students achieving the KKM rose from 55% to 92%, with completion rates of assigned tasks also showing notable improvements. The findings suggest that both TAI and TGT models are effective in promoting higher academic achievement and greater student engagement in Mathematics. The substantial increase in students meeting the KKM and completing tasks indicates that these collaborative learning strategies significantly enhance learning outcomes. Implementing the TAI and TGT collaborative learning models has proven beneficial in boosting engagement, motivation, and academic performance among seventh-grade students at SMPN 243 Jakarta in their Mathematics coursework.

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Team Games Tournament Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas V Pada Subtema 1 Peristiwa Kebangsaan Masa Penjajahan Di SD Negeri 091273 Karang Bangun

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of Team games tournament model on student learning outcomes in subtheme 1 Class V SD Negeri 091273 Karang bangun. This study is a pre-experimental study using one group pretest-posttest design, the sample of this study was 25 people. Data collection technique is a test. By doing the pretest got an average result of 65.92, then given treatment after treatment using the Team games tournament model so that it gets a posttest with an average value of 91.76. With the value obtained, the value of the postest has a higher average than the pretest. After doing the post test, the researchers conducted an n-gain Test got an n-gain score of 0.7660 categorized as high and the hypothesis test got a value of 27,562. T test results obtained by thitung = 27,562 with a significance level of 0,000. since the significant probability is much smaller than 0.05 i.e. 0.000 and thitung = 27,562 > ttable = 1,711 then HO is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is an influence of the Team games tournament learning model on the learning outcomes of Class V students on the theme 7 events in life and subtheme 1 national events of the colonial period on learning 1 and 2 in Class V at SD Negeri 091273 Karang bangun academic year 2023/2024.

Meningkatkan Minat dan Keaktifan Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Pelajaran Sejarah Melalui Penerapan Pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dengan Media Teka-Teki Silang di Kelas X-12 SMA Negeri 3 Medan

This research aims to increase students' active learning in the subject of History through the implementation of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning using crossword puzzles in class X-12 at SMA Negeri 3 Medan. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a target of 36 students. The indicators used in this research are the teacher's ability to use and apply research media and methods, as well as the results after implementing learning using crossword puzzles. Meanwhile, the techniques used for data collection are observation techniques based on observations, questionnaires and documentation techniques. The results of this research show that in cycle 1, students' learning interest and activeness tend to be low/low due to conventional learning strategies, where students' learning interest shows a percentage of 69.72%. Meanwhile, in cycle 2, students' interest in learning history increased to 81.38%. In this case, students' interest in learning history lessons increased by 11.66%. The application of Crossword Puzzle media in History learning through the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model can provide good stimulation and stimulus to increase students' learning activity such as listening activity, writing activity, movement activity and emotional activity. The formation of groups or teams in this game encourages activeness to be able to work together quickly because they have to compete with other groups.

COMMUNICATION SKILL ENHANCEMENT AND MATHEMATICAL REASONING MADRASAH ALIYAH STUDENTS BY MODEL TYPE COOPERATIVE LEARNING GAMES TEAMS TOURNAMENT

Communication skills and mathematical reasoning are two of the objectives study of mathematics. Communication is defined as the ability to write, read, listen, examine, interpret, and evaluate ideas, symbols, terms, and mathematical information. Mathematical reasoning is a habit that when the brain is well developed and consistent will facilitate the mathematical communication both written and oral. Therefore, the necessary relevant learning model is needed to optimize, improve, and develop the communication and mathematical reasoning abilities of students. One of the learning model is a cooperative learning model called Teams Games Tournament (TGT). The aim of this study is to determine: (1) the increase in communication and mathematical reasoning abilities that students acquire with cooperative learning model TGT better than students who receive conventional learning approaches, and (2) the attitude of students towards learning mathematics with cooperative learning model TGT. This research is an experimental research design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The populations in this study were all students of class XI MAN 2 Aceh Besar, which consists of five classes. While the sample is composed of two classes of experimental classes and control classes were taken by random sampling. The instruments used to obtain research data communications test and mathematical reasoning ability, and attitude scale questionnaire. The statistical test used for analyzing data to increase communication skills and mathematical reasoning is two lanes ANOVA test, while the attitude scale questionnaire is calculated based on a percentage. The results showed that overall improvement in communication and mathematical reasoning abilities that students acquire learning with the cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament better than students who received study with conventional approaches. The results of student questionnaire concluded that, in general the students have a positive attitude towards learning mathematics using the cooperative learning model TGT.

Many Class X students feel bored when studying SKI, because SKI teachers still use the lecture method, not the Teams Games Tournament model. Students have not been motivated by SKI teachers. The SKI score assessment is still low, namely an average of 6. The aim of the research is to find out how SKI teachers plan their teaching and how to apply/implement the Teams Games Tournament model to provide student learning motivation in learning the History of Islamic Culture and how SKI teachers motivate student learning in class X. This research method uses a qualitative method with the PTK research type. The data sources in this research are primary class X students and SKI teachers. Secondary sources; relevant books, journals, websites. The research results show that the planning for implementing SKI learning is good, and the implementation of SKI lessons is carried out well using the Teams Games Tournament model. Students become active and creative and also motivated to learn SKI. The result is that the SKI value increases, the initial value of 6 can increase to 7. The initial value of 7 increases to 8 and the initial value of 8 increases to 9.
