The trend after Technology skill is a novel idea in school skill that entails school leaders, teachers, and administrators developing and maintaining support for the efficient use of information and communication technology (ICT) in teaching and learning. Working with teachers and assisting them to improve educational processes is an essential notion in educational management. It also entails harnessing teachers' abilities and potentials and adapting them to achieve educational goals, resulting in enhanced teaching and learning. Skill is thus of major significance to learning and, as such, is required for better levels of school accomplishment. But the big argument is, Are the technological skills of teachers reflective of the learner’s motivation to learn? Does it radiate to their interest to learn? Hence, this study. In the digital age, rapid advancement in technology influence education inherently. This study will determine the technology skills of teachers and whether it can predict the learner’s motivation from the selected elementary schools in Paranaque City. To achieve this, the research will use quantitative research technique by adopting the descriptive-comparative-correlational method to describe the variables of the status of technological skills in the institution and the learning motivation of the pupils when taught and managed using this form of skill. Meanwhile, the correlation part will be employed by determining the relationship between technological skills of their teachers and learning motivation.

Opportunities and risks of using neural networks in education

The innovative development of modern education continues to move towards the adoption of information technologies. However, there is no significant increase in the quality of education due to their implementation; the process is much slower than expected. We face a problem of integration of educational information technologies and pedagogical technologies. It has become especially relevant in connection with the rapidly developing practice of using neural networks and the scientific and methodological substantiation of their effectiveness at different levels and stages of learning. In this regard, the purpose of the present study is to identify the potential opportunities and risks of using neural networks in education.The practical part of the work consists of an analysis and synthesis of both foreign and domestic statistical studies regarding existing trends in the implementation of AI in the field of education. The article presents the results of a survey, conducted among university students, to identify the advantages and limitations of using generative artificial intelligence in learning. Based on the SWOT analysis, the article provides generalized conclusions regarding the strengths and weaknesses, risks and threats of using neural networks in education.The data obtained can be used to organize further research and more effective use of the neural network technology in educational practices for both teachers and students.

Cloud Tools in Higher Education: Literature Review

Cloud computing has proven to be relevant to the area of Information Technology for education, especially in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, in which this technological alternative, which carries dynamic and flexible infrastructure, provided efficient and flexible computing environments. In this literature review, we sought to present the integration of technology in the Brazilian context of university degree, with emphasis on the relationship between education and technology which, although not a recent phenomenon, had its interaction intensified with the advancement of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Large companies in the sector, such as Google, Microsoft, among others, expanded the offer of ICT in several domains and, not unlike, in higher education, seen as valuable allies for e-learning. During the period of remote teaching, due to COVID-19 in order to minimize the socio-educational losses of students, file sharing tools, videoconferences and virtual learning environments have become essential for the continuity of teaching. In this work, we verify that the growing integration of cloud computing in higher education is seen as an essential tool to help and improve higher education in Brazil. Its relevance in the current educational scenario, articulated with technological innovation, has been marked by challenges and opportunities.

Role of Information and Communication Technology in Islamic Education: Challenges and Opportunities

In this paper, the role of information and communication technology (ICT) in Islamic education is analyzed with an emphasis on the challenges and opportunities it presents. ICT can increase access to Islamic knowledge, improve teaching methods, and encourage participatory learning. It is necessary to handle issues including restricted infrastructure, the requirement to maintain high-quality Islamic material online, and cultural and religious sensitivity in online learning settings. ICT presents several opportunities for Islamic education, including the use of multimedia and interactive tools for teaching Islamic concepts, facilitating global reach and accessibility through online platforms, and fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among educators and scholars. To evaluate the effect of ICT on Islamic education, qualitative research using content analysis was carried out. The results draw attention to issues including the limitations of ICT infrastructure, the need for high-quality online information, the necessity of good ICT training for teachers, and cultural and religious considerations. ICT also offers chances for improved Quranic study, worldwide cooperation, ongoing learning outside of the classroom, and expanded access to Islamic information. In order to use ICT to enhance Islamic education, this study intends to provide useful insights for educational practitioners and policymakers.

SME project: an approach to maintaining student engagement during online learning

PurposeThe COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically changed educational practices due to the intense use of information technology for teaching and learning. That phenomenon presents challenges for lecturers in higher education establishments because student engagement is threatened during online interactions. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the SME project for maintaining student engagement during online learning.Design/methodology/approachThe research used a quasi-experimental method involving experimental and control groups. Researchers collect quantitative and qualitative data to obtain comprehensive information. The data were collected using an electronic questionnaire. Development of the ITSJava Application as a Computer-assisted Learning Media in Object-Oriented Programming Courses

This research aims to develop ITSJava application as an interactive learning media for object-oriented programming (OOP) course in information technology education programme at Gorontalo State University. ITSJava was developed using the Personal Xtreme Programming (PXP) development method which consists of six stages: needs identification, planning, initial iteration, design, implementation, and system testing. The results of system testing show that the ITSJava application is suitable for use as a medium for learning OOP. This system can help students learn OOP in an interactive and adaptive way to students' learning styles. Hopefully, this system can be further developed by adding a unit test function to ensure the accuracy of the program code written by students and ensure that the code runs according to the expectations and logic expected by the lecturer.

Perception of IT teachers on their methodological development: A case at Kazakhstan universities

This paper provides an analysis of the viewpoints of IT discipline teachers at Kazakhstani universities regarding the need for the development of methodological competence. The purpose of this study is to provide IT teachers with a philosophy of necessity to develop their methodological basis to train future IT specialists. The sociological survey was conducted among them and the answers to the questionnaire showed that teachers understand the relationship between their methodological training and the quality of education. The interviewed teachers use a variety of technologies and methods of teaching and evaluating the achievement of learning outcomes by students in the educational process which indicates that they have a certain level of methodological competence. Nevertheless, the problem of unclear understanding of the differences between the concepts of technology and teaching method is revealed. This suggests the need for measures to strengthen the general pedagogical training of teachers. The study’s findings have shown that IT discipline teachers at Kazakhstani universities understand the need for constant development of their methodological competence. The opinion of teachers in the IT discipline about the need to develop methodological competence is positive and they are ready for continuous improvement. The study gives a foundation for research on the level of formation of methodological competence in general and its components, organizational forms of development of methodological competence and the possibility of strengthening the general pedagogical training of future teachers of IT disciplines.

Review of Digital Campus Construction Led by Virtual Reality Technology

In recent years, the government has issued a series of documents to promote the construction of digital campuses. This initiative serves to encourage the deep integration of information technology and intelligent technology education and digital reform, the combination of virtual reality and campus management is the need for innovative thinking and economic and social development, and then better change our learning style and living environment. The construction of the digital campus is based on virtual reality technology, BIM, GIS, and three-dimensional modeling technology to provide an immersive platform for students, promote the integration of virtual reality technology and education, help teachers, students, and parents to understand all kinds of education information and resources, to achieve their interoperability. Integrated Data Processing Architecture Applied to Learning Objects Repository for Educational Robotics: Proposing Approach

Educational Robotics has emerged as a multidisciplinary field integrating Information and Communication Technologies, Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence areas in education. Furthermore, Educational Robotics offers an innovative approach to teaching and learning by incorporating the construction and programming of robots. However, the small number of platforms for sharing Educational Robotics Learning Objects with a large amount of well-described metadata poses a challenge for efficient search and retrieval of relevant educational content. This study presents an architecture for data processing and ingestion in the RepositORE system, a Learning Objects Repository for Educational Robotics that stores educational content and associated metadata based on the Dublin Core standard. Based on microservices architecture, the proposed system aims to facilitate the location and reuse of learning objects by adapting the RepositORE system to work as a client service. The theoretical framework explores the concepts of learning objects, repositories, and the significance of Educational Robotics in education, and reviews related works. The proposed architecture and system can potentially enhance the accessibility and discoverability of Educational Robotics Learning Objects, fostering effective teaching and learning experiences.

ECONOMIC EDUCATION UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: ANALYSIS OF THE BIBLIOGRAPHIC LANDSCAPE

The aim of the article is to carry out a bibliographic analysis of articles related to the use of IT in economic education, in order to characterise the future landscape of scientific and pedagogical research. The material for the analysis were publications from the scientometric database Web of Science from 2020 to 26 March 2024. Only open access publications were taken into account. The VOSviewer application was used to qualitatively characterise the publication's landscape using keyword sets. The search was conducted among publications from 2020 using the words "information technology" and "economic education" in the "Keywords" and "Abstract" fields according to the search formula "information technology AND economic education". In terms of quantitative indicators, there is reason to believe that with the development of the IT industry and, importantly, with the emergence of artificial intelligence and the development of machine learning, the number of qualitative studies in economic education is growing. The subject of such research is the modernisation of economic disciplines, the introduction of active learning methods, and the spread of digital platforms that improve the training of economists. A qualitative analysis of the keywords that form the three main clusters of research reveals three trends: (1) the trend of integrative influence of IT development on the development of educational institutions, introduction of innovative models in economic education and its management; (2) the trend of development of personal qualities under the influence of economic education with the use of information technologies; (3) the trend of integration of economic education into socio-economic processes and its impact on human resources and their development. These areas are interconnected and therefore considered promising for the future: research related to the various impacts of the digital economy on the development of universities and their digital administration (digital university, provision of educational services anywhere in the world; development of digital learning environments and pedagogical design, and so forth); research related to the development of learning technologies under the influence of Internet technologies (immersive, gaming technologies, simulations, use of virtual and augmented reality), development of individual qualities of specialists in the field of economics (development of relevant skills – critical and creative thinking, digital communication skills, lifelong learning); research that reveals the peculiarities of organising education in the face of constraints and characterises the causes of digital divide; study of economic processes that determine the links between economic growth, economic education, the introduction of Industry 4.0 and the spread of artificial intelligence in all areas of the national economy.

Learning, which is the basic component and dynamics of education, is the name given to the changes observed in an individual during the interaction of an individual with the environment, the reorganization of behavior and habits, behavior development and change, the acquisition of information and ideas, considered as a neurophysiological process, permanent effects that occur as a result of interaction with the environment. By another definition, it is revealed that learning is a mental structure change or even a constantly renewed mental structure. Some learning processes may be aimed only at people. Knowledge is organized, and learning is a process in which new knowledge is associated with previously acquired knowledge. The learner needs to encode and store the acquired information in his long-term memory so that he can recall it accurately and quickly later. The information processing process plays an active role in this regard for electronic learning and future learning. Cognitive control for the actualization of cognitive processes within a certain system (such as coding, detection, recall and repetition) occupies an important place in terms of electronic learning and future learning models in subjects such as monitoring, planning, implementation, asking questions, renewal, self-testing from the beginning to the end of learning. In this context, it is observed that the attempts to use information technologies in education have been accelerated in recent years. Interaction between individuals constitutes the basis of learning.Dec. This interaction between individuals allows the examination of existing knowledge and the access to new theories. Dec. While physical environments such as classrooms, schools or courses were used for this type of interaction at first; nowadays, with the introduction of technology into our lives, electronic messages (e-mail), chat (chat), e-groups, dynamic web pages, web radio and television, mobile phones and tablet computers have started to be added to these environments with the great breakthroughs made in recent years. Thanks to these enriched interaction environments, individuals can interact with more people more easily. As a result, thanks to this, students can increase their own knowledge by communicating with others who are more knowledgeable than they are. Thus, individuals can take the thought structure of the more knowledgeable one or adopt the new structure that they will create by shaping it with some changes according to themselves. Actual problems of modern education in technical university

Relevance. This research review focuses on the critical issues within technical education, emphasizing the need for new educational strategies and techniques to enhance learning outcomes. Purpose. The primary goal of this review is to investigate the factors influencing vocational education, particularly in the context of technical universities, and to evaluate the impact of current educational practices. Methodology. An analytical review of existing scientific publications on technical education was conducted to gather data on the effectiveness of traditional teaching methods and the integration of information and communication technologies (ICT) in education. Results. The review revealed significant challenges, including the low motivation of students and the inadequate competence of lecturers who prefer traditional teaching methods. These issues have persisted in technical education for many years. Additionally, the study highlighted the deficiencies in the modern educational process at technical universities, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, which necessitated the development of adaptive distance education systems. Conclusions. The authors discuss the theoretical approaches to organizing the educational process in modern higher education institutions and propose practical recommendations for the administration of these institutions. These recommendations aim to improve teaching methods, including the implementation of adaptive learning in higher education, to address the identified shortcomings and enhance the quality of technical education. Peranan Ict Dan Digital Media Dalam Edukasi

In the digital era, technology in education not only broadens access to information but also transforms learning methods. This study evaluates the role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and digital media in modern education. Using theories such as Constructivism, Connectivism, and Cognitive Multimedia, along with PRISMA 2020 and Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methods, this research shows that ICT and digital media enhance student engagement and enable innovative teaching methods. However, there are challenges such as limited infrastructure and lack of digital competence. This study suggests investing in technological infrastructure and digital competency training to maximize the potential of ICT. Further research is needed to understand the long-term impacts and to conduct comparative studies between countries. This study provides insights for educators, policymakers, and researchers to develop strategies that support the integration of ICT in education.

Developing competencies relating to information science and technology in Japanese undergraduate medical education

In response to the growing expectation and recognized potential for integrating information and communication technology (ICT) into medicine, the Model Core Curriculum for Medical Education in Japan incorporated ‘the ability to use information science and technology’ as a new competency in its 2022 revision. This study aimed to identify specific learning objectives that medical students should achieve to acquire this competency. The research team developed an initial list of 107 learning objectives through a literature survey. Subsequently, two rounds of expert panel surveys were conducted to refine these objectives. Seventy-four medical education stakeholders participated in the expert panel, including medical and non-medical faculty, medical students, graduate students, and university staff. Through the expert panel surveys, 13 learning objectives were finally established from the initial list, consisting of three categories: ‘Ethics and rules for dealing with information science and technology,’ ‘Principles of information science and technology necessary for medical care and surrounding society,’ and ‘Application of information science and technology in clinical practice.’ Our investigation effectively identified essential components of competencies for integrating ICT into medical education. The identified learning objectives would provide valuable insights for designing curricula for undergraduates in the new era of information and artificial intelligence.

Implementing digital transformation in the revision process for Japan’s Model Core Curriculum: A qualitative document analysis

Purpose Digital transformation (DT) is significantly impacting medical education. Despite advancements such as virtual reality and remote education, the influence of DT on the development of curricula and guidelines has not been thoroughly explored. This study aims to explore the enabling factors and impacts of DT on the revision process for Japan’s Model Core Curriculum (MCC) in 2022. Materials and methods Taking a constructivist perspective, this study investigated the enabling factors and impacts of DT through qualitative document analysis. Thematic analysis was conducted on materials including emails from the MCC revision team, meeting minutes, and survey responses. Results Enabling factors were experimentation spaces for users, deep integration between revision and digitalization teams, continuous development, and coordination with existing methods. The impacts of DT included ensuring accuracy and consistency, gaining the ability to preview and aggregate data, and expediting and reducing workload. Conclusion DT not only streamlined the revision process but also improved the quality of the guidelines and changed the nature of the MCC into an interactive infrastructure. The involvement of personnel with expertise bridging IT and medical education, combined with an environment conducive to user acceptance and opportunities for practice, were crucial for successful DT.

Exploration of the Transformation to Digitalized Teaching Models in Art Courses of Preschool Education in Higher Education

This paper explores the transformation of teaching models in the art courses of preschool education in higher education under the context of digitalization. By analyzing the current teaching status and the application of digital technologies such as intelligent teaching platforms and virtual reality, a new integrated information technology teaching model is proposed. The study not only demonstrates the effects of this model in enhancing student engagement and creativity but also discusses the challenges and strategies in its implementation, providing new perspectives and methods for the development of future educational models.

The Influence of Information Technologies on Modern Teaching Methods

The research focuses on analysing the transformation of traditional approaches to education in response to modern challenges and the needs of the global labour market. The study aims to determine the main trends and prospects for the use of information technologies in education and assess their impact on the formation of qualified personnel capable of functioning effectively in the digital economy. The study emphasises the importance of innovative teaching methods for preparing students to work in an intercultural and multidisciplinary environment. The study results testify to the importance of integrating information technologies in the educational process to improve the quality of education and the formation of professional competencies of the teaching staff. The main prospects for developing educational technologies are characterised, and recommendations are offered for optimising the use of digital tools in the educational process, taking into account the current trends in the development of global education and the challenges of the labour market.
