This communication deals with “New paradigms for higher education teachers with the use of artificial intelligence by students, with the specific case of ChatGPT”, which aims to analyze the new roles that teachers must adopt with the use of artificial intelligence by students. Recently, the use of the famous ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence tool created by OpenIA, by society with access to technology, has been frequent. This practice has had a positive and negative impact on Teaching and Learning Process (TLP) in Higher Education institutions, requiring a general and specific analysis. about how teachers can adapt to this reality. Exposing this communication makes teachers aware of taking new positions and pedagogical measures during their Teaching and Learning Process. Furthermore, some results from surveys submitted to some higher education teachers from various national institutions will be presented. There will also be recommendations on how teachers can adapt to the new pedagogical reality without changing the real meaning of the Teaching and Learning Process.
