Abstract

Culture in Organisation is as good as an ecosystem. A teacher with high cultural intelligence proves to be an asset to the Institute because he or she gets well adapted to the cultural differences, he/she absorb the cultural shocks and mingle in multi-cultural environment and helps to improve work performance. As the student follows the Teacher, the teacher imbibes good things in the student similarly the cultural intelligence of a student can be increased with the help of focused cross cultural or diversity training through workshop, culture displays, traditions, forming teams with diversities etc. The study is pursued to know the awareness of Cultural Intelligence (CI) and role of (CI) in Teaching and Learning Process (TLP) and also to know whether Teachers recommend more research in this concept.
