This study explores 28 university freshmen's attitude towards learning from the integration of web 2.0 tools with post-reading activities in a Freshmen English class in a northwest university in Taiwan. Based on the data analysed in the interview of participants' and projects and responses to comic strips, this study has the following two major findings. First, participants felt interested in using the web 2.0 tools to make comic strips as their post-reading activities and such technological integration helped them practice the target language and grammar. However, they seldom responded to their classmates' projects. Second, with an insufficient practice of English and manipulation of the web 2.0 tools for the first time, some of the participants faced problems in summarising the main ideas to design comic strips based on the assigned reading texts. Two suggestions are provided to make the integration of web 2.0 tools on comic strips into freshmen English classes effective.
