The similarities and differences of the two diseases, however, have not been emphasized. The purpose of this report is (1) to compare the clinical manifestations of the two diseases, (2) to present two cases of myxedema in which it was difficult to exclude pernicious anemia, and (3) to report another case of pernicious anemia and myxedema.
