Prevention and management of medical adhesive-related skin injuries in tumor patients with peripheral central venous catheters: a best practice implementation project.

Peripheral central venous catheters are common vascular access devices used in patients with tumors. To prevent catheter shedding and displacement, it is essential to use medical adhesives to secure the catheters. Repeated adhesion and removal of medical adhesives can weaken the barrier function of the skin, leading to medical adhesive-related skin injuries (MARSI), which can increase the patients' pain and medical expenses. The objective of this project was to utilize the best evidence to prevent and manage MARSI in tumor patients with peripheral central venous catheters. This evidence-based audit and feedback project was theoretically informed by the JBI Evidence Implementation Framework. The framework involves seven phases in which a project team was established; measurable criteria were selected; baseline data were collected; improvement strategies were implemented to address gaps in compliance; a follow-up audit was conducted to assess improvements in compliance; and sustainability measures were considered. The project also used the JBI Practical Application of Clinical Evidence System (PACES) for project management, including data collection and analysis. The JBI Getting Research into Practice (GRiP) approach was also used to support implementation and compliance. In the baseline audit, the compliance rate for the nine audit criteria was low. In the follow-up audit, the compliance rate significantly improved, with each audit criterion exceeding a minimum of 80%, and four audit criteria reaching 100%. Knowledge of MARSI among nurses and patients significantly improved (p < 0.05) and the incidence of MARSI among patients with peripheral central venous catheters decreased. This project successfully enhanced nurses' compliance with MARSI prevention and management and increased the knowledge and skills of both nurses and patients about MARSI. http://links.lww.com/IJEBH/A285.

Periodic site visits and gathering input from all project stakeholders are crucial for ensuring clear understanding of project progress by states institutional. With digital project management systems, on-site progress should be monitored in real-time and inclusive of all project stakeholders. The research investigates how collaborative monitoring fosters project progress of transparency and active engagement among project partners. By providing real-time visibility into project progress, tasks, and milestones, these platforms empower stakeholders with up-to-date information, enabling agile decision-making and prompt risk mitigation. This study explores how digital project management platforms integrate site monitoring evaluations and reporting tools, providing valuable data-driven insights into project performance. By considering periodic analytics, project partners can improve resource allocation, decision making process against possible bottlenecks at construction stages and boost productivity and inform states institutional to monitor project progress closely. Furthermore, the research examines the influence of these platforms on communication dynamics, promoting communication and efficient information exchange among project partners. Such enhanced communication capabilities result in improved team cohesion and collaboration, driving the project forward with synchronized efforts. In this study, the focus lies on tracking the progress of contractual agreements through digital platforms, enabling all stakeholders to monitor advancements. Specifically, the investigation centers on how the designated contractor responsible for project execution and the consulting firm appointed by the project owner can effectively track project progress on a periodic basis using digital platforms. In the context of transportation projects in Turkey, a digital project tracking system has been developed for the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, through which data obtained from on-site visits and consultant opinions regarding project advancements are shared with the Ministry. Subsequently, the responsible contracting authority, guided by the consultant's feedback, can respond and evaluate progress accordingly. This approach ensures that project advancements are accurately monitored by all stakeholders of the project. To do so, this study investigates the utilization of the prepared digital platform to facilitate rapid and precise contract monitoring by all project stakeholders, encompassing the opening information and assessment evaluations based on stakeholders' perspectives.

This paper provides a comprehensive review of the application of BIM in the U.S. construction sector, with a focus on its impact on improving construction management practices. The review explores the specific ways in which BIM contributes to project success, including its ability to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and facilitate real-time collaboration among stakeholders. Through an in-depth analysis of current literature, this paper highlights the specialized functions of BIM that are particularly beneficial for construction management in the U.S., such as clash detection, 4D scheduling, and cost estimation. The paper also examines case studies that demonstrate the successful integration of BIM in large-scale projects across the country, showcasing tangible improvements in project outcomes, including reduced project timelines and enhanced cost efficiency. Additionally, the paper delves into the challenges associated with BIM adoption in the U.S., including the need for skilled personnel, the integration of BIM with existing project management systems, and the legal and contractual implications of BIM-based collaboration. These challenges are discussed alongside strategies for overcoming them, emphasizing the importance of training, standardization, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Artificial Intelligence Adoption and Project Success: A Mixed-Method Study

AI&amp;apos;s growing acceptance is changing project management&amp;apos;s human-centric approach. Project management is using AI to automate and support duties. This change could improve workflows, decision-making, and project efficiency. The full influence of AI on project success is unknown. There is little empirical evidence linking AI use to project outcomes. This ignorance highlights the necessity to study AI&amp;apos;s impact on project management. The project management AI industry is expected to expand 38% annually. Since the late 1980s, AI has improved project management by providing more intelligent and autonomous help. Data privacy, accountability, strategic leadership, communication, innovation, and emotional intelligence are important ethical issues. This study examines how AI adoption affects project success through communication and feedback. This mixed-method study examines how AI adoption affects project success. The quantitative phase measured AI communication, feedback, and project progress via a predefined questionnaire. The sample includes construction, IT, manufacturing, healthcare, and finance project managers and team members. Multiple regression analysis and structural equation modelling were employed in IBM SPSS AMOS to examine AI adoption and project success measures. A qualitative phase of semi-structured interviews with respondents contextualised the quantitative data. Thematic analysis gleaned insights from interview transcripts. AI&amp;apos;s impact on project success was examined using integrated data, with ethics in mind. The study examined AI tool-project success relationships using a structural equation model. Communication mode, feedback style, and frequency explained 3% of project success variance. Quantitative research showed that AI communication frequency improves project success, whereas mode and style negatively impact it. Participants&amp;apos; qualitative comments indicated six themes that match quantitative findings, and their replies enhance quantitative results and recommend improvements. The study concluded that AI communication frequency positively increases project success, while mode and style negatively affect it. The mixed-methods approach showed that AI tools alone cannot ensure project success; communication style and frequency are. The study recommended among others that organisations should integrate AI tools into project management systems, match AI communication modes to project team preferences, optimise feedback styles, and provide regular updates to improve AI communication. Project teams need ongoing training.

Challenges to Public Administration Related to the Implementation of the Scientific and Technological Development Strategy of the Russian Federation

The author considers the requirements of the Decree of the President of Russia “On the Scientific and Technological Development Strategy of the Russian Federation” to the characteristics and principles of functioning of the public administration system in Russia. It is shown that the list of these characteristics and requirements is incomplete and insufficient for the implementation of the Decree. The main gaps in the requirements formed by the Decree relate to limiting the reconfiguration of the management system to only one subsystem, management in the field of scientific and technological development. The article argues that the complex nature of grand scientific and technological challenges implies profound changes in the public administration system as a whole, the transition from a structural and functional management system (a combination of meritocratic and client-oriented models) to a project management system (indicative and public-state models). The changes should affect the nomenclature and the scheme of interaction between structural divisions of state bodies, increase the level of project intra- and interdepartmental coordination. In addition, significant changes must be made in the public service system. We should organize training of specialists capable of using data analytics tools and data-based decision-making technologies as well as of carrying out an indicative assessment of project implementation indicators. The structure of the civil service should be associated with project offices and temporary performance of duties in these offices, and not only with permanent functions, taking into account the specifics of project service activities and project teams within government agencies. Civil servants should actively interact with independent expert structures and with civil society, which is the ultimate beneficiary of science and technology projects.

DEFINING COMPONENTS OF THE METHODOLOGICAL PLATFORM FOR FORMING A BUSINESS PORTFOLIO OF A COMPANY IN THE UPDATED FORMAT OF MODERN DEVELOPMENT

The article is devoted to the analysis of the economic and operational imperatives of forming a business portfolio for a development company in the construction sector. A successful business portfolio management strategy requires the integration of financial, organizational, and technological aspects to ensure the sustainability and competitiveness of the business. In modern conditions, real estate development is one of the key factors that determines the dynamics of enterprise development, as it includes a comprehensive approach to asset management, from planning and financing to the construction and operation of objects. The theoretical and methodological foundations of the genesis of development at the current stage of the construction market's evolution have been analyzed.The methodological platform for forming a business portfolio should be based on the principles of rational resource management, risk analysis, and technological optimization. Changes in development activities require the active use of digital tools and a comprehensive approach to managing residential, commercial, and industrial properties, which allows for the maximization of profitability and minimization of risks.The article discusses the main stages of portfolio formation, such as strategic planning, selection of investment objects, and their integration into the overall structure of the enterprise. An economic and mathematical formalization of the process is also provided. For the successful operation of a development company, it is crucial to ensure coordinated work at all stages of the project — from planning and financing to construction and commissioning of the facilities.Particular attention is paid to the methods of economic and mathematical modelling (EMM) and quantitative risk analysis, which have become the basis for the development of the latest asset management strategies. The study analyses 35 different techniques. Each methodology offers unique tools for the effective management of development projects that allow forecasting financial flows, determining optimal investment strategies, and building the best plans for the development of a real estate portfolio. The specific methods used to value residential, commercial and industrial real estate are also discussed, taking into account their different levels of risk and return.It is important to note that the updated methodological platform is suitable for adaptation to the latest technologies and digital tools. This includes the introduction of a project management system, the use of artificial intelligence technologies to analyse large amounts of data, and the use of analytical tools to predict market trends. This approach helps to optimise asset management in a changing market environment. The analysis of the main components of the business portfolio formation platform also showed that important factors for the successful implementation of development projects are the speed of response to market changes, flexibility of management decisions, and the ability to minimise risks at all stages of the project.

Information Modeling Implementation in PAO “Rosneft” as Challenge of Digitization in Construction Industry

Key goals of construction industry modernization and quality improvement are the introduction of information modeling which is an effective tool for increasing the enterprise competitiveness through the quality of design and construction, resource optimization and efficiency of interaction between process participants throughout the entire life cycle.The article presents information modeling (3D design) in PAO “Rosneft” with respect to the tasks of ensuring adaptation to design procedure in the company and the transition to full-scale 3D design. The choice of software is justified, real examples of completed pilot projects using information modeling are described, and information modeling implementation are presented. The experience in information modeling implementation helps companies to choose one or another software, and become familiar with the process at PAO “Rosneft”. As a result of the digital transformation of design processes, a model of the life cycle management system of capital construction project is developed, the basis of which is its information model. In addition, the main problems that require solutions for the successful information modeling implementation are identified, i.e., shortcomings of domestic software, shortage or absence of highly qualified personnel, unwillingness of customers to work with technical information, efficiency decrease of the organization due to the introduction of a new approach to project implementation into existing processes, resistance from employees, customers and contractors of construction, and installation works.The information modeling introduction in the PAO “Rosneft” allow to achieve goals for im[1]port substitution of technologies and prepare a worthy response to global geopolitical challenges.

Investigating the Role of Change Management in Achieving Sustainable Project Management in Construction Firms

Abstract Over the past years, the construction sector has seen significant transformation driven by sustainability and change management, as most construction companies strive to lower emissions, be future-proof, and slow down the rate of climate change. While these two disciplines have distinct goals, they share essential principles. Both change management and sustainable project management emphasize addressing the environmental, social, and economic aspects while maintaining ethics, transparency, and stakeholder demands. According to previous studies, incorporating sustainability concepts into project management systems could enhance organizational value, risk control, cost savings, stakeholders’ relationships, and long-term value generation. In the context of change management, integrating sustainability into project management systems strives to ensure that initiatives are not only financially feasible but also socially and ecologically responsible. Despite previous research in those fields, further investigation and application of the implementation methodologies are still recommended. The main aim of this paper is to investigate the relationship between sustainability in the project management field, its relation to change management procedures, and how it could be beneficial for the implementation process in the construction industry. A constructive literature review was adapted to develop a potential primary framework for future implementation, which facilitates future attempts at construction organization implementation processes.

Optimizing Project Management System in Construction Development: A Case Study of the Upper Cisokan Hydro Electric Power Plant

This study explores project management challenges in the Upper Cisokan Hydro Electric Power Plant (UCPS HEPP) project, focusing on delays and inefficiencies in stakeholder engagement and execution processes. Key issues identified include delays in completing the Contractor's Environmental and Social Management Plan (C-ESMP), late preparation of detailed programs, the inability to provide timely financial statements, contractor's performance, including inadequate skills and systems. The study employs both qualitative methods, including observations and semi-structured interviews with key stakeholders to identify root causes and recommend solutions. Utilizing the PMBOKGuide's principles and AHP model, the study suggests that enhancing contractor skills, improving systems, and ensuring compliance with international standards are critical for project success. The findings provide practical insights for improving project management practices in similar large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in emerging markets.

The Effect of Project Management System Implementation, BIM Technology, and Cloud Collaboration on Construction Project Efficiency in Riau

This study examines the impact of Project Management System (PMS) implementation, Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology, and Cloud Collaboration on construction project efficiency in Riau, Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative research design, data were collected from 190 professionals involved in construction projects and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings reveal that all three factors—PMS implementation, BIM technology, and Cloud Collaboration—positively and significantly influence construction project efficiency. Among these, BIM technology demonstrates the strongest impact, followed by Cloud Collaboration and PMS implementation. The high R² value (0.752) indicates that these factors collectively explain a substantial portion of the variance in project efficiency. This study underscores the importance of integrating advanced technological tools and management practices to enhance project outcomes in the construction industry. The results provide practical insights for construction firms in Riau and similar regions, suggesting that the adoption of BIM, Cloud Collaboration, and PMS can lead to significant improvements in project efficiency.

MODERN TRANSFORMATIONS OF ACCOUNTING, MANAGEMENT, AND MARKETING OF AN ENTERPRISE IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITALIZATION

The article is dedicated to the analysis of the large-scale digital transformation of modern enterprises, driven by changes in key managerial functional areas. The author examines these shifts under the influence of cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, project management systems, and other tools. The purpose of this article is to identify the fundamental features, advantages, and challenges that enterprises face in the process of digitizing key management functions (specifically accounting, management, and marketing). Based on the analysis conducted, it is evident that digital transformation impacts the efficiency of enterprises and their adaptation to changing market conditions. In the context of the obtained results, the prospects for further research lie in developing a roadmap for the digital transformation of key enterprise functions. In particular, it is currently crucial to provide practical recommendations for developing and implementing a digital transformation strategy, including the identification of priority areas, risk assessment, and resource allocation.

The Admin Panel serves as the central hub for managing the entire system. It includes functionalities such as Staff Management, Product Management, and Customer Management. Admins can efficiently oversee staff schedules, update menu items, and manage customer profiles, ensuring smooth operations. The Staff Panel empowers café employees with tools to improve workflow efficiency. Staff members can take orders, process payments, and generate order reports seamlessly. This panel facilitates better communication and coordination among staff members, resulting in improved service quality. The Customer Panel offers patrons a user- friendly interface to interact with the café digitally. Customers can place orders, make payments, and view order history conveniently. Additionally, they can provide feedback and suggestions, fostering a collaborative relationship between the café and its clientele. Key features of the CMS include order management functionalities such as Place Food Orders and Cancel Orders, facilitating a hassle-free ordering experience for customers. The system also supports secure payment processing and generates detailed receipts for transactions, ensuring transparency and accountability. Student Project Management System for Monitoring Undergraduate Projects (Case Study of Computer Science Department, University of Ibadan)

The Student Project Management System (SPMS) is a web-based platform designed to optimize the management of final-year projects within the Computer Science Department at the University of Ibadan. SPMS offers a range of tools and functionalities tailored to the needs of students, supervisors and coordinators involved in the project management process. Key features of SPMS include an intuitive interface, proposal submission capabilities, project tracking functionalities, feedback management tools, document organization features, and communication channels between stakeholders. These features foster seamless collaboration, enhance project visibility and streamline administrative workflows. SPMS is developed using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, PHP, MySQL and Visual Studio Code to ensure robustness, scalability and user-friendliness. The development phases encompasses requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing and documentation, with a focus on usability, functionality, and reliability. Practically, SPMS enhances project management efficiency within the Computer Science Department, improving project outcomes and student experiences. Research progress on the evaluation mechanism of scientific research teams in the digital economy era

PurposeIn today’s digital economy, it is very important to cultivate digital professionals with advanced interdisciplinary skills. The purpose of this paper is that universities play a vital role in this effort, and research teams need to use the synergistic effect of various educational methods to improve the quality and efficiency of personnel training. For these teams, a powerful evaluation mechanism is very important to improve their innovation ability and the overall level of talents they cultivate. The policy of “selecting the best through public bidding” not only meets the multi-dimensional evaluation needs of contemporary research, but also conforms to the current atmosphere of evaluating scientific and technological talents.Design/methodology/approachNonetheless, since its adoption, several challenges have emerged, including flawed project management systems, a mismatch between listed needs and actual core technological needs and a low rate of conversion of scientific achievements into practical outcomes. These issues are often traced back to overly simplistic evaluation methods for research teams. The concept of human-centricity as a basis for digital and value transformation in the management of modern entrepreneurial projects

Aim. To apply the concept of human-centricity in the process of digital transformation when building a management system for developing entrepreneurial projects.Objectives. Development of practical recommendations and digital tools to implement the concept of Human-Centricity Management (HCM); formation of humanistic values at the early stages of entrepreneurial project development.Methods. The authors applied the methods of analysis, grouping and generalization, typologization, synthesis, graphic and tabular visualization.Results. Practical recommendations for the implementation of the concept of human-centricity (HCM) in the formation of entrepreneurial project management system were developed. The methodology of overcoming the information problem has been supplemented and modified: the web-service Management of Developing Projects (MDP), aimed at the realization of the basic principles of HCM within the framework of the current model of project management, has been proposed and developed. The necessity of humanistic values formation at the early stages of entrepreneurial projects development was substantiated.Conclusions. Entrepreneurial community and related institutions unite on the basis of socially directed role-based business models that support useful social transformations as well as the main principles of HCM. Companies that implement the concept of human-centricity are more successful in attracting and retaining qualified human resources. In conditions of increased demand on the labor market, digitalization of this concept plays the role of a catalyst for development, and it should be taken into account by the initiators of entrepreneurial projects when building the company’s management system.

A case study on the development of requirements for the comprehensive credits management system project at H University

Nowadays, in order to adapt to informatization and enhance management efficiency, universities have an increasing demand for the development of management systems. This paper conducts an in-depth study on the case of requirements development for the comprehensive credit management system project at H University. Taking the problems existing in software project requirements development management as a starting point, this paper analyzes and researches the issues in requirements acquisition, requirements analysis, and requirements development management processes of the current project development team through the study of relevant theoretical content on requirements development. The paper proposes solutions to problems such as inaccurate identification of software project stakeholders, lack of scientific requirements analysis tools, and absence of prioritization in requirements. Through analysis, this paper, by drawing stakeholder maps and utilizing the KANO model for prioritizing project requirements, ultimately formulates an effective requirements development management solution tailored to the software project of the development team for this particular project.
