Web-Based Goods Delivery Data Archiving Information System (Case Study of Indah Kartasura Logistics Cargo)

Documents or data are very important and crucial information for a company. One of the important documents for a company is transaction data for a company engaged in a particular field. There needs to be a good filing system so that transaction data can be recorded and used if needed in the future. Indah Logistics Cargo is an agency engaged in the field of freight transportation services to all Regencies and Provinces in Indonesia. The agency already has software that is useful for printing transaction receipts, but there are problems in the customer service section when complaints from customers arise. This happened because there was no data in the software in the customer service section and had to check manually with the administration section. The menual process occurs because there are no access rights granted to the customer service department to view transaction data. The system causes the process to be slow and the customer to be uncomfortable. The purpose of this research is to create a web-based shipping data archiving information system. The author uses the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method in the system development process and the PHP programming language and uses the MySQL database. The system that the author designed can produce software that can help the customer service department of CV. Indah Cargo Kartasura in terms of archiving goods delivery transaction data so that the service process to customers is fast and provides a sense of comfort.

Information System for Collecting Customer Collateral Using PHP and MySQL (Case Study BPR BKK, Giritontro, Wonogiri Branch)

Rural Credit Bank of Giritontro District (BPR BKK Giritontro) is a financial institution engaged in savings and loans in the Giritontro District of Wonogiri. BPR BKK's customers provide collateral when applying for loans, and once the loans are repaid, the collateral is returned. However, the current collateral retrieval process at BPR BKK Giritontro is done manually through recording in a logbook maintained by administrative staff, leading to issues such as vulnerable and easily lost storage media. Additionally, there can be delays in the retrieval process if the administrative staff is absent, as only they have access to the storage cabinet key. The logbook system also hinders data search efficiency for collateral retrieval verification. This research aims to develop an information system for customer collateral retrieval to assist the administrative department in managing collateral retrieval. The author adopts the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall model for system development and utilizes PHP programming language and MySQL database for the information system implementation.

Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Smart Kids English Berbasis Mobile

Smart Kids English is a mobile-based learning media application that aims to help teachers and parents accompany children in learning English with different experiences by utilizing technology. The use of learning software is considered more effective because basically children use gadgets more often in their daily activities. Using learning software on gadget devices can also minimize the use of gadgets for unimportant applications such as playing games. The System Development Life Cycle in this research uses the Waterfall method, this method is used by many software developers. This research produces the Smart Kids English application with several basic features such as: pronunciation which is equipped with attractive images. Smart Kids English is equipped with a writing feature to train children in writing English. Smart Kids English is equipped with an animal sounds feature to increase children's insight into recognizing animal sounds in the environment around us. Smart Kids English is also equipped with a practice menu, the aim of which is to sharpen children's memory in remembering the material they have studied.

Review of Agile SDLC for Big Data Analytics Systems in the Context of Small Organizations Using Scrum-XP

Software development using agile System Development Life Cycles (SDLC), such as Scrum and XP, has gained important acceptance for small businesses. Agile approaches eliminate barriers to required organizational, technical, and economic resources usually necessary when rigorous software development approaches, through heavyweight methodologies (e.g., Rational Unified Process (RUP)) or heavyweight international standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 12207) are used. However, despite their high popularity in small businesses, their utilization is scarce in the emergent domain of Big Data Analytics Systems (BDAS). Consequently, small businesses interested in deploying BDAS lack systematic academic guidance regarding agile SDLC for BDAS. This research, thus, addresses this research gap, and reports an updated comparative study of three of the main proposed SDLCs for BDAS (Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining CRISP-DM), Two mains were Microsoft Team Data Science Process (TDSP), and Domino Data Science Lifecycle (DDSL)) in the current BDAS development literature, against a Scrum and Extreme Programming (Scrum-XP) SDLC. For this aim, a Pro Forma of a generic Scrum-XP SDLC is used to examine the conceptual structure, i.e., roles, phases-activities, roles, and work products-of these two SDLCs. Hence, this comparative study provides theoretical and practical insights on agile SDLC for BDAS adequate for small businesses and calls for further conceptual and empirical research to advance toward an agile SDLC for BDAS supported by academia and used in practice.

Analysis and Development of Information System for Cyberbullying Tendency on Twitter Social Media Using the Naïve Bayes Approach

Social media news becomes information read by thousands of individuals worldwide. Social media users in society have the freedom to post comments based on their perspectives, and the larger community can see whether these remarks are positive or negative. However, many comments are not constructive, and many of them lead to bullying. Unsupervised communication in the social realm can lead to a variety of deviations, which are commonly referred to as cyberbullying; several incidents of cyberbullying have happened. This research can also be used to express negative feelings about someone by writing them down and sharing them on social media. Methodology used in this research is following the System Development Life Cycles and based on naïve Bayes approach to classify the expression whenever it’s a bullying or not. From the research finding the system can help to mitigate the bullying tendencies in social media, although the system cannot predict whenever its actual bullying or a pun made by friends.

My Instructional Tools Software for College Faculty

This study was conducted using the research and development methodology over the course of three stages. The first phase involved conducting a survey to determine the faculty needs in terms of information and communication technology. According to survey findings, faculty members were particularly interested in using offline educational software. The second phase involved creating offline instructional software in accordance with the system development life cycle. The three information technology professionals examined and evaluated the software to verify its quality. Pilot testing and rolling out the program to the faculty were part of phase three. The program was evaluated using the Department of Trade and Industry/Bureau of the Philippines Standards software quality models and the International Standard 25010:2011 Systems and Software Quality Requirements and Evaluation System. Eight characteristics make up this product quality model, which is further broken down into subcharacteristics that relate to software's static and dynamic qualities. The stated quality criteria were used as a checklist to assure a full treatment of quality needs, and offered a framework for anticipating the ensuing effort and activities necessary during system development. When defining or assessing the quality of computer systems or software products, the qualities in the quality in use model and product quality model were meant to be used together as a set.

Design and Development of loT-Smart Mirror Information Display System for Organizational Efficiency

In the realm of the Internet of Things (IoT), a smart mirror is akin to a regular mirror possessed with intelligence, incorporating technology to provide useful information. The need for an integrated multi-functional information display, efficiently consolidating global information, optimizing electricity consumption, and monitoring fire hazards, has become crucial for increasing awareness among organizational staff and visitors. However, many organizations still rely on traditional information displays, leaving them vulnerable to issues such as electricity wastage and hazard oversight. To tackle these issues, we developed a smart mirror enhanced with voice recognition to quickly retrieve global information, simultaneously reducing electricity costs and enabling early detection of fire hazards. This paper details the design and development of smart mirror, following a systematic approach based on the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. As a result, evaluations of user acceptance measured through the System Usability Scale (SUS) tool, confirms the operational efficiency and positive reception of the system. This paper significantly contributes to advancing smart mirror research, providing a valuable resource for developers, researchers, and practitioners constructing their iterations and offering inspiration for future enhancements.

IMPROVING THE ACCESSIBILITY OF HEALTH SERVICES THROUGH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MOBILE-BASED APPLICATIONS

Advances in information technology have a significant impact on various aspects of life, especially in health services. The development and emergence of Innovations in mobile technology are essential to transform and improve accessibility, efficiency, and quality of health services. This research focuses on Karangampel Community Health Center, despite its comprehensive services and the existence of operational challenges, limited by ineffectiveness in the process of report data collection system to transaction services. The purpose of this research is to develop a mobile application to improve the transaction process of reporting drug purchase data. This can help improve administrative efficiency. By using the observation method and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as a system design, then testing using black box and Mental Model Representation, resulting in a value of 90%, indicating that the application is feasible to use. Through the implementation of mobile applications, health services can facilitate interaction between patients and health service providers regarding operational activities. In addition, this application also facilitates health service providers in recording patient histories, monitoring schedules, and developing treatment plans electronically, real-time ambulance calls, as well as drug purchase service features, to transactional reporting accessible via mobile.

Catering Booking Information System at PT Gobel Dharma Sarana Karya (GDSK) Web Based

Objective: Purpose: The purpose of this research is to design and build a website-based catering ordering system so that it can facilitate the ordering process for customers and make it easier to recap sales reports.
 Methodology: The approach method used for this application is an object-oriented system and method (System Development Life Cycle) waterfall process model that starts from planning, analysis, system design, and system implementation.
 Results: This application was built with the programming language PHP and MySQL as database storage media. The results of the research are in the form of a Catering Order website which can facilitate the ordering process for customers and make it easier to recap sales reports.
 Implication: This research presents a system to make it easier for customers to order food catering in the form of a website so that customers can easily access it. This paper provides a valuable reference for companies and the public to easily place orders online.

Digital Implementation of Doteli Dictionary: A Tri-Lingual Dictionary for Doteli Language

This research article discusses the development and implementation of a digital Doteli dictionary, designed to bridge the linguistic gap between Doteli, Nepali, and English. The trilingual dictionary app operates on Android platforms and offers functionalities such as word meaning searches, antonym/synonym retrieval, pronunciation guides, language translation, and the ability to bookmark words. Physical dictionaries have several limitations, including bulkiness, low portability, time-consuming searches, difficulty in modification, limited accessibility, and the absence of pronunciation features. According to the literature, no digital version of the Doteli dictionary has been developed to date. This research aims to address these limitations by providing a digital version of the Doteli dictionary that includes all the aforementioned features. Drawing inspiration from traditional dictionaries, the digital version seeks to preserve, promote, and make the linguistic richness of the Doteli language more accessible. The development and testing of the app follow the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach, with all sample data sourced from physical dictionaries. The system has been successfully implemented and installed on Android-based mobile devices using Java programming. This work is beneficial for language learners, linguists, researchers, teachers, students, and developers.

Web-based smart attendance monitoring system using QR code and GSM module for SMS notificatio

The study was designed and developed to address certain problems and concerns of the school administration and parents of students attending Ciriaco Mariano Elementary School. The system was used to provide the school an innovative way to record attendance of students, provide parents with real time updates regarding the entry and exit of their children in the school premises, and be able to monitor students by generating attendance reports. The Web-based Smart Attendance Monitoring System using QR code and GSM module for SMS notification was developed through the implementation of the Iterative System Development Life Cycle Model. This iterative model ensures that the web-based system conformed to the all of the requirements from the CMES and of the requirements set by the ISO 25010 criteria. To assess the quality of the developed web-based system, the researcher adapted the ISO 25010 Software Quality Standard as evaluation tool. Two sets of questionnaires were developed and were given to respondents who were selected using purposive sampling. The first set of questionnaires were given to IT experts to assess the technical qualities of the system which includes functional suitability, performance efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability, and portability. The second set of questionnaires were given to the school principal, teachers, and parents to assess the web-based system quality on selected criteria which includes functional suitability, performance efficiency, and usability. The Web-based Smart Attendance Monitoring System using QR code and GSM module for SMS notification was successfully developed using the iterative SDLC model and found conformed to the ISO 25010 software quality standards as implied by the results from the evaluation of IT experts, school principal, teachers, and parents.

Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Keuangan Sekolah di Pusdiklatkom Tanjungsari Berbasis Desktop

Based on observations, that at the Tanjungsari Pusdiklatkom the process of processing financial data such as tuition payments, payment of education fees, exam payments, and recaps of money expenditures still uses a manual system. The design method used is the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method. Starting from the system development process to the system is applied with the Waterfall model which consists of several basic work stages, : Requirement, Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and Maintenance. The results showed that the design of a desktop-based school financial information system at Pusdiklatkom Tanjungsari made it easier for Pusdiklatkom Tanjungsari Desktop-based makes it easier for Pusdiklatkom Tanjungsari to process its financial data.

Development of a Laravel-based Publication, Research and Community Service Information System

The need for accurate data is really needed when departments or faculties are to be accredited, and to map lecturers who will have the opportunity in the following semester to carry out research or community service. Due to differences in data held by departments, faculties, or data at the LPPM (Institute for Research and Community Service), different data can occur due to lack of discipline in lecturers who have carried out research and service to collect reports to departments, faculties, or to LPPM. To facilitate reporting of research and community service activities by lecturers to the Department and to management, an information system is needed that can improve research and community service performance. The system development method used in this research is the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method. The SDLC method uses a system approach called the waterfall approach, which uses system development stages, namely requirements analysis, design, coding, system testing and support stages (maintenance), using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The research results show that the information system developed makes it easier to manage and organize data from lecturers' research, service and publications and can help lecturers, departments and faculty leaders in obtaining the information they need online and in real time. It can be concluded that the Prisma Information System fully supports the submission of service research proposals, a faster and easier process, safer data and guaranteed credibility, dynamic configurability, more responsive design, and assistance documentation, as well as other new features.

Information System for Monitoring Waste Tonnage and Fleet Assignment at the Medan City Sanitary and Park Agency

The Medan City Sanitary and Parks Department has the responsibility of carrying out the waste transportation process from the source of waste to the location of the Sanitary Landfill. Every day, the waste transportation vehicle receives a Road Order Letter from the sub-agency located in the sub-district, which contains information on waste transportation information. After the transportation is complete, the letter is submitted to the landfill scale department for tonnage and origin data collection. However, at present, all waste transportation data collection activities are carried out manually, including the provision of assignment letters and data collection of waste tonnage and fleet routes at the landfill. This results in ineffectiveness in the data collection operations. This encourages researchers to design a monitoring and fleet assignment information system at the Medan City Sanitary and Parks Service. Data collection is done by observation and interviews. The system development model in this system uses SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) Waterfall and uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) as a method of describing the flow of the system by applying the Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram and Sequence Diagram models. The system is designed to run on a website system and is built using the PHP programming language with MySQL as a database. With this system, it is hoped that it can help in facilitating fleet assignments and monitoring the amount of waste entering the Sanitary Landfill .

Design of an Order-Based Cost Accounting Information System Using Microsoft Visual Studio 2017

The Accounting Information System (AIS) is crucial for a company's commercial operations to run smoothly. One type of AIS is the Cost Accounting Information System which has a vital role, especially in manufacturing companies. More specifically, AIS Cost also depends on the method of collecting costs used by a company which consists of two types, namely process-costing and job order-costing. MSMEs MMC Fashion Knitting one of the manufacturing companies in Bandung that produces based on orders (job order-costing) still uses the Cost Accounting Information System manually so that the owner does not know the exact production cost and gross profit of each order. This study aims to create a simple application to process the Accounting Information System of Job Order Costing that can help the company's operational activities. Descriptive-qualitative research methodology is being employed. Interviews and documentation in the form of primary and secondary data were used to acquire the information. The System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach and Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 are used in this study's application design. The results of this study are the Accounting Information System of Job Order Costing Application which can produce output including sales order letter, production order letter, bill of material, production activities list, material stock report, cost of goods manufactured report, and income statement with variable costing method.

Developing a Business Intelligence Dashboard of Liquid Material at a Toy Manufacturing Company using a System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Model

Fashion doll manufacturers place a substantial emphasis on maintaining aesthetic appeal. One of the most important aspects of preserving a fashion doll's attractive appearance is using liquids to keep the hair in place despite countless shocks and bumps during the distribution process. According to a recent observation on liquid material control at one of the largest toy manufacturing companies worldwide, the process and database had shortcomings that might be fixed by developing a business intelligence dashboard using the SDLC methodology. The SDLC approach was adopted as the improvement methodology. According to the initial observation, improvement can be made by designing a system architecture that includes input data until data visualization. The form was created in Microsoft Forms and integrated into Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Automate, and Microsoft Power BI. After being implemented, this enhancement successfully reduced deficiencies and waste. According to the testing findings, all the capabilities perform as the users and stakeholders desired, satisfying all user requirements. Consequently, the organization applies business intelligence to the other departmental areas to visualize the data.

Perancangan Sistem Order Material pada Supporting Department di PT XYZ dengan Metode System Development Life Cycle

The study focuses on the Supporting department, responsible for producing components for assembling minibuses, including the J type. The department faces several issues, including a 60% confusion rate in component names out of the 600 components, delays and errors in component delivery spanning 4 to 16 hours, and the absence of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Addressing these challenges necessitates the development of a material order system, tackled using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Through SDLC analysis, solutions were derived, involving the creation of system programs, enhancing system flow, standardizing component names, grouping components into kits, establishing component catalogs, and formulating SOPs. This comprehensive solution was implemented at PTXYZ. The outcomes revealed significant improvements: standardization of component names among operators, administrators, and Microsoft GP, where 600 raw components were grouped into 98 packages, reducing delays to less than one working hour, meeting production schedules without delivery errors, and successful implementation of SOPs and catalogs facilitating the production process. Continuous monitoring is crucial to prevent the recurrence of delivery delays and name confusion.

The Development of Web-based Sales and Inventory System for a Stationary Store

The study-case method was applied in this research at a stationery store. The problems derive from an observation of a stationary store called Andesta, a micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise (MSMEs) run by individuals who engage in stationery and document procurement. The problem is that transactions are not properly recorded, preventing the store from knowing the profits and losses incurred during a certain period. As a result, the availability of stocks coming in and out is unclear. This issue will be resolved by developing an integrated sales and inventory system. The prototype method is implemented in the system development lifecycle. The system will be constructed as soon as the design is completed and accepted by the business owner. The CodeIgniter framework and MySQL databases were used to build the system. The construction of the sales and inventory system is supposed to support stores in running their business processes more efficiently.

Aplikasi Pengamanan Data Karyawan menggunakan Algoritma Advanced Encryption Standard dan Cloud Computing berbasis Mobile

Documents are valuable assets that often contain important information, including employee personal data, and are vulnerable to security threats such as theft and alteration by unauthorized parties. This research aims to develop an Android-based document security application that combines the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm and cloud computing technology. This type of research is developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model, which involves requirements analysis, design, coding, and testing. At the needs analysis stage, focus is given to employee data that needs to be secured. System design includes data structure, system structure, and user interface (UI). System design includes use case elements, class diagrams, and application architecture. Coding was done using Flutter as the user interface, Laravel as the backend, and MySQL as the database. System testing uses black box testing. Our test results show that the data security application is successful in carrying out the data encryption and decryption processes. Compared to previous web and desktop-based developments, this application provides a more adaptive solution to high mobility in the work environment. Cloud computing integration provides flexibility in data access, and the use of the Android platform significantly increases user mobility.

Modul Customer Service pada Aplikasi Komputerisasi Standar Akuntansi Perbankan berbasis Website

Practicing students have difficulty in using standard banking accounting computerization applications because they still use disk operating systems and virtual machines. This happens because special knowledge is needed to run the application. This research aims to create a customer service module on a website-based standard banking accounting computerized application so that it can be used for learning operations in the ManLan Lab more easily. Programming using CodeIgniter and MySQL with a waterfall method approach in the system development life cycle, starting from the initial phase to the final phase of development. Data analysis using literature study and observation. This research involved 1 staff, 3 practicum students, and 2 assistants and programmers at the Advanced Management Laboratory as research subjects. The system design stage uses a navigation structure and four types of Unified Modeling Language (UML). Testing is done with black box testing to ensure there are no functional errors in the system. The results of our finding are in the form of a customer service module in the computerized application of banking accounting standards which is used as a depiction of customer service tasks in banks through an application system. And the results of black box testing show the system runs well as expected. Therefore, this application is suitable for operational learning practicum.
