Exploring the nexus of industry dynamism, climate risk exposure and mental health and well-being of owners of small and micro-sized suppliers: implications for sustainable supply chain management

PurposeAlthough climate change-related risks affect all stakeholders along the supply chain, the potential impact on small and micro-sized suppliers is incredibly excessive. The corresponding toll of these climate risk threats on the mental health and well-being of owners of small and micro-sized suppliers can adversely affect their participation in sustainability efforts, ultimately impacting the firm's performance. This often-overlooked dynamic forms the core of our research. We probe into two pivotal aspects: how industry dynamism and climate risk affect the mental health and well-being of owners of small and micro-sized suppliers and how, in turn, dictate involvement and, consequently, supply chain sustainability performance. This is further nuanced by the moderating role of the abusive behavior of buyers.Design/methodology/approachOur study is built on resource dependency theory and the supporting empirical evidence is fortified by a mixed-methods sequential explanatory design. This study comprises three phases. In the first phase, our experiment examines the effect of industry dynamism and climate risk exposure on sustainable supply chain management performance. Hypotheses H1a and H1b are tested in the first phase. The second phase involves using a survey and structural equation modeling to test the comprehensiveness of the model. Here, the relationship between industry dynamism, climate risk exposure, mental health and well-being of owners of small and micro-sized supplier firms, supplier involvement and sustainable supply chain management (H2–H7) is tested in the second phase. In the third phase, we adopt a qualitative approach to verify and provide descriptive explanations of phase two findings.FindingsOur findings underscore the significance of small and micro-sized suppliers in sustainability, offering invaluable insights for both theoretical understanding and practical implementation. Our study highlights that buyers must allocate sufficient resources to support small and micro-sized supplier firms and collaborate closely to address climate change and its impacts.Practical implicationsThe key takeaway from this study is that buyer firms should consider SDG 3, which focuses on the good health and well-being of their employees and the mental health and well-being of owners of small and micro-sized suppliers in their upstream supply chain. This approach enhances sustainability performance in supply chains.Originality/valueThis is one of the first studies that shows that industry dynamism and climate risk exposure can negatively impact small and micro-sized suppliers in the presence of a contextual element, i.e. abusive behavior of buyers, and ultimately, it negatively impacts sustainable supply chain performance dimensions.

Sustainable supply chain management and organizational performance: the mediating role of competitive advantage in Ethiopian manufacturing industry

PurposeThis research aims to study the impact of sustainable supply chain management on both competitive advantage and organizational performance in the Ethiopian manufacturing industry.Design/methodology/approachThe objectives are achieved through collecting and analyzing data from 221 Ethiopian manufacturing industries. This research employs a quantitative approach, specifically descriptive and causal research methods. The data are collected by questionnaires administered directly to a sample of 221 respondents who are managers and supervisors in the manufacturing industry. In addition, data analysis was performed using structural equation modeling in the Smart-PLS Software version (SmartPLS 4.0).FindingsThe research reveals that SSCM substantially and positively impacts competitive advantage and organizational performance. Furthermore, statistical findings prove the connection between competitive advantage and organizational performance. Moreover, competitive advantage indirectly influences the relationship between SSCM and OP. The results suggest that successfully implementing SSCM can improve competitive advantage and OP.Originality/valueConsidering the triple-bottom-line approach and the mediating effects of competitive advantage, this study is the first to analyze the relationship between SSCM and manufacturing performance in Ethiopia. This study adds to the existing literature by providing empirical evidence on the impact of sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) on competitive advantage and organizational performance in the manufacturing industry of emerging markets.Research limitations/implicationsThe research is based on a cross-sectional study, which may prevent the generalization of findings derived from the current study. The analyzed variable in this study quantified OP, which is widely recognized as a very dynamic concept.

Combining digitalization and sustainability: unveiling the relationship of digital maturity degree, sustainable supply chain management practices and performance

PurposeThis study aims to comprehensively assess how digital maturity degree (DMD) impacts sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) performance through the mediating role of SSCM practices in businesses in Vietnam.Design/methodology/approachThe hypotheses were performed using partial least square-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with data collected from a survey of over 234 managers having responsibility in the supply chain field in Vietnam. Qualitative data were collected through semistructured interviews with 6 experts to deepen understanding of the relationship between DMD and SSCM.FindingsThe results show the mix-results in the relationship between SSCM practices and SSCM performance dimensions while DMD strongly impacts SSCM practices. Also, this study finds the mediating role of SSCM practices on the relationship between DMD and SSCM performance.Originality/valueThis is the first study to investigate the role of DMD on SSCM practices and SSCM performance, using empirical evidence. Moreover, the authors integrate both qualitative and quantitative for understanding complex SSCM phenomena. The present study also helps businesses improve their SSCM performance by leveraging SSCM practices and developing their digital technologies in the long-term view.

ANALYSIS OF SUSTAINABLE PERFORMANCE IN THE PALMYRA SUPPLY CHAIN USING CAUSAL-LOOP DIAGRAM

The study analyzed sustainable supply chain management performance in the Palmyra handicraft in­dustry in Central Lombok. The study analyzed sustainability based on economic, social, and environmental performance attributes. Economic and environmental performance attributes used the SCOR 12 model, while social performance attributes were adopted from previous research. These performance attributes were mo­deled with causal-loop analysis to understand the interaction between performance attributes in influencing overall supply chain performance. This study explored critical factors in the Palmyra handicraft supply chain to gain sustainability. Support any stakeholders to make a strategic decision on the Palmyra supply chain. Theoretically, the contribution of this study is to expand the insight of sustainability in supply chain ma­na­gement in a small industry context.

Program evaluation and review technique – Data envelopment analysis in benchmarking sustainable supply chain management of the potato chips industry

Supply chain benchmarking of agroindustry can be done by emphasizing the perspective of sustainability. This paper aimed to analyze the efficiency of Sustainable Supply Chain Management (SSCM) in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and provided a prospective benchmark with the potato chips industry as a study case. Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) estimated future input and output values to obtain prospective benchmarks and be added to the DEA formula later. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) methods were used to measure SSCM performance. The results showed that 17 of 20 Decision-Making Units (DMUs) were efficient (score 1). The other 3 DMUs were classified and got an efficiency score of 0.965, 0.955, and 0.995. In future estimates calculation, the efficiency score of one of the inefficient DMUs has changed to 1, while the other two got the scores of 0.996 and 0.980. The limitation of this research mainly comes from the scope of assessment, which is limited to the supply chain’s downstream sector and assesses only a limited number of MSMEs in a particular region. SSCM efficiency measurement variables were adjusted to be assessed and applied to MSMEs. PERT was also beneficial to gain future estimates of the assessment scope.

A meta-analysis of sustainable supply chain management and firm performance: Some new findings on sustainable supply chain management

Industry and academia are increasingly focusing on sustainability as a competitive advantage for firms in the supply chain. Despite the increasing research on sustainable supply chain management (SSCM), the empirical results show a negative and positive relationship with firm performance, while the performance aspect pays less attention to the innovation dimension. Hence, it is necessary to synthesize previous studies to extend the theoretical framework of SSCM and firm performance and to analyze the effects of potential moderating variables on the relationship between SSCM and firm performance. To do this, we conducted a meta-analysis of 42,461 observations from 128 independent samples in 158 empirical studies. The results indicate that SSCM not only improves operational, economic, environmental and social performance, but also enables companies to innovate. In addition, the downstream SSCM contributes the most to firm performance, followed by the internal SSCM, while the upstream SSCM contributes the least. Interestingly, a journal reputation can affect the SSCM-firm performance relationship. We not only extend the framework of SSCM and firm performance, but also combine SSCM with the innovation dimension for the first time. Meanwhile, our results help managers clarify how to make trade-offs with SSCM practices.

Sustainable supply chains in the heavy vehicle and equipment industry: a multiple-case study of four manufacturers

PurposeRecently, interest in sustainability has grown globally in the heavy vehicle and equipment industry (HVEI). However, this industry's complexity poses a challenge to the implementation of generic sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) practices. This study aims to identify SSCM's barriers, practices and performance (BPP) indicators in the HVEI context.Design/methodology/approachThe results are derived from case studies of four multinational manufacturers. Within-case and cross-case analyses were conducted to categorise the SSCM BPP indicators that are unique to HVEI supply chains.FindingsThis study's analysis revealed that supply chain cost implications and a deficient information flow between focal firms and supply chain partners are the key barriers to SSCM in the HVEI. This analysis also revealed a set of policies, programmes and procedures that manufacturers have adopted to address SSCM barriers. The most common SSCM performance indicators included eco-portfolio sales to assess economic performance, health and safety indicators for social sustainability and carbon- and energy-related measures for environmental sustainability.Practical implicationsThe insights can help HVEI firms understand and overcome the typical SSCM barriers in their industry and develop, deploy and optimise their SSCM strategies and practices. Managers can use this knowledge to identify appropriate mechanisms with which to accelerate their transition into a sustainable business and effectively measure performance outcomes.Originality/valueThe extant SSCM literature has focused on the light vehicle industry, and it has lacked a concrete examination of HVEI supply chains' sustainability BPP. This study develops a framework that simultaneously analyses SSCM BPP in the HVEI.

Sustainable supply chain of Indonesia’s textile & apparel industry: opportunities and challenges

Purpose As a leading sector that has entered the international market, the Indonesian Textile and Apparel (T&A) industry has begun to focus on sustainability issues; however, this study is still limited. This paper aims to conduct a systematic review and explore future research opportunities in developing sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) in the T&A industry in Indonesia, particularly in the small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector. Design/methodology/approach A systematic literature review (SLR) through five academic databases, including Science Direct, IEEE Explore, Scopus, Google Scholar and Web of Science, was conducted and followed by a content analysis of the selected papers. Findings Directions for future research include designing a standardized and sustainable measurement of SSCM performance; analyzing SSCM practices in T&A SMEs through the concept of sustainable entrepreneurs; and exploring the application of a circular economy in the T&A industry, known as circular fashion, which is preferred by the community, affordable and environmentally friendly. Research limitations/implications This research only used secondary data. In-depth interviews with relevant experts should also be conducted to get a more comprehensive picture of this issue. Originality/value To the best of the author’s knowledge, this is the first SLR analyzing the implementation of SSCM in the T&A industry in Indonesia.

Resolving operational paradox of sustainable supply chain: A decision framework approach

This study helps to reconcile the trade-offs between sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) and operational performance. Inspired by the paradox theory, the study advocates avoiding the contradictory elements and accepting the complementary elements between SSCM and Operational Performance. Accordingly, the study identifies various SSCM and operational performance elements followed by their evaluation to understand their complementary and contradictory nature. The study is conducted in two stages. First, the study constructs a list of SSCM features through exploratory factor analysis. Second, a unique decision framework of MACBETH (Measuring Attractiveness by Categorical-Based Evaluation Technique) and TODIM (Tomada de Decisión Inerativa Multicritero) methods is used to evaluate the SSCM features based on their impact on operational performance criteria. The proposed framework is validated in the context of the Indian Automobile Industry. The study results provide an empirically validated and prioritized list of SSCM features. In the list, the top-ranked features complement the operational performance criteria. In contrast, the lower-ranked features compromise the operational criteria, at least in the short term. Thus, this study reduces the skepticism around the adoption of SSCM by focusing on the top-ranked features of the list and avoiding the lower-ranked features during the early phases of SSCM adoption. Additionally, the study provides guidance to supply chain managers on achieving sustainability in a supply chain without compromising on its traditional goals. The results are of practical importance as supply chain managers may now choose to implement specific SSCM features that exhibit minimum negative impact on operational performance. Consequently, the study encourages an assertive adoption of SSCM even in developing countries.

Revisiting the Nexus Between Sustainable Supply Chain Management and the Performance of Steel Manufacturing Organizations: A Case Study From an Emerging Economy

Notwithstanding the accretive volume of research on sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) across multiple industrial segments, limited studies have shown concrete empirical evidence of SSCM performance evaluation (SSCMPE) of steel manufacturing organizations in the context of emerging economies such as India. This research attempts to evaluate the SSCM performance of four leading India-based steel manufacturing organizations. To this end, eight critical criteria were extracted from the literature and later verified by experts. Data were collected by developing a questionnaire and conducting interviews with the selected industry personnel. Next, this research employed an integrated multicriteria decision making (MCDM) approach, in which the objective weights of criteria were determined using the entropy method, and the case organizations were prioritized using the complex proportional assessment (COPRAS) method. Results reveal that <italic xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">increase in scrap recycling</i> rate and <italic xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">reduction in resource consumption by designing products for effective utilization of resources</i> are the two most influential criteria for SSCM performance. Finally, a sensitivity analysis was performed to confirm the exactitude of the results. The distinctiveness of this research lies in considering environmental, operational, social, and economic issues in SSCMPE of the steel manufacturing organizations. The research findings may assist policymakers in formulating strategies for SSCM performance enhancement.

Özet&#x0D; Amaç– Bu çalışmanın amacı, sürdürülebilir tedarik zinciri yönetimi performansını iyileştirmede etkili faktörleri listelemek ve en uygun alternatif faaliyeti belirlemektir.&#x0D; Yöntem– Çalışmada kullanılan veriler inşaat sektöründe çalışan işletme yöneticileri ile yüz yüze görüşmeler ve literatür taraması yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Çok kriterli karar verme yöntemlerinden biri olan ANP yöntemi ile tedarik zinciri yönetimini etkileyen faktörlere öncelik verilmiş ve alternatifler değerlendirilmiştir. On beş alt kriter ve beş alternatif belirlendi.&#x0D; Bulgular – ANP ile sürdürülebilir bir tedarik zinciri yönetimi için karar destek modeli önerisi sunulmuştur. Çalışmanın sonucu, çevresel, ekonomik ve sosyal açıdan sürdürülebilir tedarik zincirlerine ulaşmak için ana itici güçlerin çevresel kalite yönetimi, stratejik yönetim, bilgi paylaşımı, teknoloji verimliliği ve müşterilerin sesi olduğunu göstermektedir.&#x0D; Özgünlük– Sanayileşmenin artan olumsuz etkileriyle birlikte küresel ve çok uluslu şirketler sürdürülebilir tedarik zinciri yönetimine daha fazla önem vermektedir. Şirketler, müşteri memnuniyetini sürdürmek ve verimli bir operasyonel ve finansal sonuç geliştirmek için uygulanabilir ve entegre tedarik zinciri yönetimi geliştirmelidir. Tedarik zinciri yönetimindeki üyelerin sürekli etkileşim içinde olması gerekir. Aksi takdirde müşteri memnuniyetsizliği, dağıtım maliyetleri, stok fazlası gibi çeşitli sorunlarla karşılaşılmaktadır. Sorunlar etkin tedarik zinciri yönetimi ile çözülebilir. Bu çalışma ile, kısıtlı alandaki sürdürülebilir tedarik zinciri yönetiminin inşaat sektörü uygulaması ile sektöre ve yazına katkı sağlaması umulmaktadır.

Impact of sustainable supply chain management on cost performance: empirical evidence from manufacturing companies of Bangladesh

PurposeThe aim of the study has been performed to investigate the relationship between sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) practices and the cost performance of manufacturing firms in Bangladesh. Moreover, this paper highlights the key environment-friendly approaches and their association with financial performance in Bangladesh.Design/methodology/approachThe paper empirically assesses sustainable supply chain performance using four major supply chain practices, including sustainable procurement, sustainable production, sustainable distribution and investment recovery, and compares it with the cost performance. Twenty-four variables were identified through different literature and distributed as a structured questionnaire among the managers appointed in different manufacturing firms in Bangladesh. An empirical study was conducted using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique to examine the hypothesized relationships.FindingsThe results find a positive relationship in two variables of sustainable supply chain practices, including sustainable procurement and investment recovery, while sustainable distribution negatively impacted cost performance. In addition, sustainable production found no effect on cost performance.Research limitations/implicationsThe paper emphasizes the financial perspective of a sustainable supply chain without explicit consideration of sustainability's environmental and social dimensions.Practical implicationsThis study has implications for the literature on the SSCM approaches of manufacturing firms in the least developed economies. In addition, this study could work as a guideline for some manufacturing industries that prefer a policy or standard to alter their traditional supply chain management system to a sustainable supply chain.Originality/valueThe paper provides a comprehensive framework for evaluating the coordinated effect of SSCM practices on cost performance where variables of four specific activities of SSCM and cost performance are adopted from different studies. Further studies could be initiated, including some other eco-friendly supply chain variables, and the effect could be evaluated from an environmental perspective.

Sustainable Supply Chain Management in the Food Industry: A Conceptual Model from a Literature Review and a Case Study.

The purpose of this study is twofold: firstly, to provide a literature review of sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) critical factors, practices and performance; and secondly, to develop a comprehensive and testable model of SSCM in the food industry. The research conducted comprises a literature review and a case study. The literature review findings propose a theoretical framework linking SSCM critical factors, practices and performance. The case study comprises two sustainability leaders in the Greek food supply chain in order to investigate the three SSCM constructs. A new set of pioneering SSCM practices in the Greek food industry is identified, including daily conversation, local sourcing and HR investments. The end result of this research proposes a testable model that sheds light on SSCM in the food industry and is based on a set of propositions.

Sustainable supply chain management performance in post COVID-19 era in an emerging economy: a big data perspective

PurposeBig data analytics capabilities are the driving force and deemed as an operational excellence approach to improving the green supply chain performance in the post COVID-19 situation. Motivated by the COVID-19 epidemic and the problems it poses to the supply chain's long-term viability, this study used dynamic capabilities theory as a foundation to assess the imperative role of big data analytics capabilities (management, talent and technological) toward green supply chain performance.Design/methodology/approachThis study was quantitative and cross-sectional. Data were collected from 374 executives through a survey questionnaire method by applying an appropriate random sampling technique. The authors employed PLS-SEM to analyze the data.FindingsThe findings revealed that big data analytics capabilities play a significant role in boosting up sustainable supply chain performance. It was found that big data analytics capabilities significantly contributed to supply chain risk management and innovative green product development that ultimately enhanced innovation and learning performance. Moreover, innovation and green learning performance has a significant and positive relationship with sustainable supply chain performance. In the post COVID-19 situation, organizations can enhance their sustainable supply chain performance by giving extra attention to big data analytics capabilities and supply chain risk and innovativeness.Originality/valueThe paper specifically emphasizes on the factors that result in the sustainability in supply chain integrated with the big data analytics. Additionally, it offers the boundary condition for gaining the sustainable supply chain management.

Development and Validation of a Measurement Instrument for Sustainability in Food Supply Chains

The purpose of this paper is to develop a measurement instrument for sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) critical factors, practices and performance and validate it in the food industry. A literature review was conducted in order to identify pertinent variables and propose relevant measuring items. An email survey was carried out in 423 Greek companies in the food and beverage sector. The questionnaire was sent by e-mail in the Google Forms format and it was requested to be answered by a representative of the company. The collected data was processed using exploratory factor analysis in order to extract the latent constructs of the SSCM critical factors, practices and performance measures. The validity of the proposed instrument was confirmed through confirmatory factor analysis. The extracted SSCM critical factors are “firm-level sustainability critical factors” and “supply chain sustainability critical factors”. The extracted SSCM practices are “supply chain collaboration” and “supply chain strategic orientation”. The extracted SSCM performance factors are “economic performance”, “social performance” and “environmental performance”. The three developed constructs constitute a measurement instrument that can be used both by practitioners who desire to implement SSCM and by researchers who can apply the proposed scales in other research projects or use them as assessment tools.

Environmental differentiation from a supply chain practice view perspective

Differentiation can play an important part in helping managers develop and implement supply chain-wide sustainable practices. While differentiation is widely accepted as a key performance outcome of supply chain management (SCM) and logistics, its strategic role may help explain performance outcomes, something that has not been well explored in the SCM literature. In this research, we investigate one instance of supply chain differentiation, that of environmental differentiation (differentiation through innovative environmentally friendly products and processes), and its role as a strategy rather than as an outcome. We apply the Supply Chain Practice View (SCPV) to propose a theoretical model that highlights the strategic role of environmental differentiation in the relationship between a series of sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) practices and performance outcomes. Structural equation modeling and survey data from over 300 U.S.-based companies are used to test the research hypotheses. Empirical results confirm the critical, mediating role of environmental differentiation in the link between SSCM practices and performance outcomes. Our findings suggest that implementing an environmental differentiation strategy led by integrative SSCM exchange relationships across members of the supply chain can be beneficial to firm performance.

Enhancing sustainable supply chain management performance through alliance portfolio diversity: the mediating effect of sustainability collaboration

PurposeWhile strategic alliances is a concept increasingly discussed in the field of sustainable supply chain management (SSCM), an emerging and more crucial concept regarding alliances—namely, the alliance portfolio—is mostly ignored in the SSCM context. Mainly drawing on the categorisation–elaboration model (CEM), this research develops a three-layer model to explore the effects of three alliance portfolio diversity facets on the three triple-bottom-line SSCM performances through the mediation of sustainability collaboration.Design/methodology/approachThe field data are collected from 321 Vietnamese manufacturers. Scale accuracy is assessed through the confirmatory factor analysis method. Hierarchical linear regressions are applied to test the proposed model and hypotheses.FindingsPartner, governance, and functional alliance portfolio diversities have a U-shaped, inverted U-shaped, and positive linear effect, respectively, on sustainability collaboration. Sustainability collaboration is in turn found to enhance the SSCM performances in terms of economic, environmental, and social.Originality/valueThis research introduced a new theoretical lens, CEM, to the SSCM field. It also provided findings that can help firms to manage their alliance portfolios more dynamically in terms of the nature and diversity level of the portfolio and in a way that adds to the triple bottom line through the mediating effect of sustainability collaboration.

Sustainable supply chain management and financial performance: An empirical analysis of Turkish manufacturing companies

The linkage between sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) and financial performance has attracted increasing interest from both researchers and practitioners. Although many have argued that the SSCM practices improve financial performance, empirical studies have produced mixed results, and the direction of the relationship is still unclear. This study examined the relationship between SSCM and financial performance for Turkish manufacturing companies. Financial performance was measured using ROA, ROE and price to book ratio, while SSCM performance was measured with a new multivariable performance indicator. Financial performance data were obtained from the Bloomberg Database, while SSCM data were collected from non-financial reports using content analysis. The total sample included 47 manufacturing companies listed in Borsa İstanbul, covering 584 firm-year observations for 2007-2019. Panel data regression analysis was used to test the relationship between SSCM and financial performance. Similar to the literature's general view, the findings support a positive linear relationship between SSCM and firm financial performance.

Sustainable Supply Chain Management Practices

This paper made an effort to compile the relevant research articles in the last 18 years on sustainable supply chain management practices. The author has classified the review based on sustainability in manufacturing and supply chain aspects using the dimensions of sustainability (i.e., economic, environment social aspects, and sustainable supply chain management performance evaluation). The authors summarized the relevant work published in noted refereed national and international journals and conference proceedings. The work suggested some research directions as well as propositions for researchers, especially with reference to the Indian context.

Interactional Justice, Informational Quality, and Sustainable Supply Chain Management: A Comparison of Domestic and Multinational Pharmaceutical Companies

As the business environment gradually intensifies, interest in building efficient supply chain relationships is growing. The basic principle of supply chain management (SCM) is to enhance efficiency by maintaining sustainable relationships between companies in the supply chain. This study classifies interactional justice into interpersonal justice and informational justice and examines their effects on informational quality and sustainable SCM by comparing Korean pharmaceutical companies with multinationals. The study used a theoretical structural model to investigate the causal impact of interactional justice on informational quality and sustainable SCM. The results indicated that interpersonal justice showed a significant positive relationship with informational justice. Further, interpersonal justice and informational justice had a significant positive effect on informational quality in Korean pharmaceutical companies but not in multinationals. Finally, informational quality had a positive effect on sustainable SCM performance regardless of the company’s nationality. This study is important because it identified the influence of interactional justice on informational quality and sustainable SCM by comparing Korean with multinational pharmaceutical companies. The study also highlighted the necessity of interpersonal justice and informational justice in the pharmaceutical industry. Lastly, the study suggests a useful method for the literature to investigate pharmaceutical companies.
