Efisiensi Transaksi Pembayaran Digital Berbasis QRIS pada Warmindo di Sekitar UMS

The goal of this research is to look into the benefits, availability, and hazards of using QRIS effectively in Warmindo, near Muhammadiyah University in Surakarta. The research population consists of all QRIS subscribers in Warmindo near the UMS, as well as a random selection of 50 respondents. Data was collected using a random sample strategy and analyzed with multiple linear regression. The results suggest that the benefits and convenience of use of the QRIS improve performance but have no meaningful influence on risk perception. These items will educate merchants and decision-makers on the value of benefits and access to the advancement of digital payment technology.

Unleashing the secrets of academic writing: exploring Indonesian language courses in higher education

Academic writing has been a widely substantial course in higher education as it plays a vital role in cultivating students’ academic writing skills. Drawing on qualitative descriptive study, this study aims to explore the fundamental requirements for academic writing to base the creation of an effective learning framework. Data consisted of teaching materials, semester learning plan (SLP), assessment tools, and guidelines for academic writing from three universities in Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia. Findings reveal that learning materials and the SLP have both strengths and weaknesses. Despite these, there is diversity in learning and assessment methods. Adopted teaching methods encompass project-based learning, problemsolving, and lectures, while learning assessment includes portfolio techniques, project assessment, and written exams. These findings provide insight into the imperative of academic writing in the academic setting. This serves as a basis for the development of more effective learning methods. Thus, the proposed model for academic writing adopts a project-based approach to improve students’ writing by integrating indigenous wisdom to promote students' character development.

Pengaruh Pemberian Ekstrak Jahe terhadap Penurunan Intensitas Dismenore pada Remaja

Background: Dysmenorrhea occurs when the hormone prostaglandin increases excessively during menstruation. Dismenorrhea complaints in adolescents, when untreated, can cause discomfort that interferes with daily activities and school activities. Dysmenorrhea experienced by teenagers can be overcome by consuming ginger extract. Objective: To find out the impact of giving ginger extract on decreasing the intensity of dysmenorrheic pain in adolescents at ‘Aisyiyah Surakarta University. Research methods: This study uses a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach with samples of 23 respondents. The measurement used the NRS (Numeric Rating Scale) and analyzed data using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank test. Result: It was found that of the 23 respondents before giving ginger extract the majority experienced severe pain (60.86%), and after being given ginger extract, the majority experienced mild pain (56.52%). In light of the Wilcoxon signed rank test p value <0,001 smaller than 0,05. Conclusion: at ‘Aisyiyah Surakarta University, we found that administering ginger extract reduced the severity of dysmenorrhea in adolescents.

The existence of motivation has a great influence in determining the decisions that need to be made. To increase the revenue of an e-commerce business, promotions are the most important thing to attract consumers. The next step involves the consumer’s decision whether to buy the product or not. This researcher constructed the conceptual Hedonic Information System Acceptance Model (HISAM) to identify the utilitarian and hedonic motives that influence consumer purchasing decisions. To find out how hedonism and utilitarian behavior influence online sales partners in the home care industry to conduct targeted promotions to attract customers. NEEDS ANALYSIS FOR ENGLISH DISCOURSE TEXTBOOKS EVALUATION FOR INDONESIAN STUDENTS: GRADUATE STUDENTS’ PERCEPTION

This study aims to uncover the perceptions of graduate students on the content, examples, exercises/tasks, and presentation/format of the textbook "Analisa Wacana dan Pengajarannya" for the subject of Discourse Analysis and Language Teaching (DA and LT). This descriptive qualitative research involved students’ perceptions of the selection of discourse textbooks in relation to their needs as the object of the research. Meanwhile, the subjects of the research were graduate students of the English Education Department in one of the state universities in Surakarta, Indonesia. The data collection methods utilized were the administration of questionnaires and document analysis. The findings revealed that nearly all students expressed a favorable response about the analysis of the textbook, including its content, examples, exercises/tasks, and presentation/format. Nevertheless, several comments provided valuable input to the instructor of the DA and LT Subject, prompting revisions to certain sections of the book.

Building a Smart Village Based on Entrepreneurship in Karangrejo Hamlet, Ngringo Village, Jaten District, Karanganyar Regency

The development of entrepreneurship-based Smart village in Karangrejo Hamlet, Ngringo Village, Jaten District, Karanganyar Regency has been the focus of efforts to improve the economy and the well-being of the community. One tangible step in supporting this is through training conducted on January 22, 2024. This training was held in two sessions, the first focusing on Digital Marketing for MSMEs, while the second session focused on Email Marketing in the Accounting Context. The training was attended by 24 MSME actors from various sectors, including culinary, crafts, and services. The first session was led by Ramadhian Agus Triono Sudalyo, S.Ag., S.Kom., M.M from the Informatics Engineering Study Program at the Surakarta University, while the second session was delivered by Nurita Elfani Prasetyaningrum, S.E., M.Si from the Accounting Study Program at the Surakarta University. The aim of this training is to provide MSME participants with new knowledge and new skills to use digital technology to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of businesses in the village of Karangrejo.. Thus, it is expected to create an inclusive and highly competitive environment in Karangrejo Hamlet, which will ultimately contribute to the sustainable development of the Smart village.

Penerapan Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs) dalam Sosial dan Ekonomi Dimediasi Reputasi, Kepercayaan dalam Organisasi Terhadap Loyalitas

This research aims to analyze Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in social and economic dimensions on the reputation and trust of Islamic universities in Surakarta, as well as their impact on student loyalty. Through a quantitative approach, data was collected using questionnaires as a data collection technique. Statistical analysis was utilised to verify hypotheses in the course of data analysis. Socially and economically, the SDGs have a substantial impact on the reputation and trustworthiness of higher education, according to the findings of this study. The economic dimension of the SDGs also has a substantial influence on the reputation and trust of universities, whereas the social dimension of the SDGs contributes positively and significantly to that regard. Furthermore, reputation and trust have a positive and significant effect on student loyalty at Surakarta Islamic universities, according to the research findings. Therefore, the integration of SDGs in social and economic aspects can play a role in increasing reputation, trust, and ultimately, student loyalty towards Islamic universities in Surakarta.

THE ROLE OF E-TRUST AND BRAND IMAGE ON REPURCHASE INTENTION SHOPEE FOOD

The objective of this study is to examine the impact of E-trust and brand image on the association between E-Service Quality and sales promotion about Shopee Food consumer repurchase intention. The research methodology used is quantitative, with the sampling technique being convenience sampling. A total of 105 students from universities in Surakarta were selected as the research subjects. Research analysis employs PLS-Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings of this study indicate that E-Service Quality, sales promotion, brand image, and E-Trust have a favourable and statistically significant impact on repurchase intention. The association between E-Service Quality and sales promotion and Shopee Food consumer repurchase intention is influenced by Brand image and E-Trust. The findings of this study can inform marketing strategies for marketplace platforms by optimizing E-Service Quality, sales promotion, Brand Image, and trust. These characteristics have been empirically shown to enhance consumer repurchase intention.

Pengaruh Harga, Promosi, dan Kualitas Pelayanan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Tiket Kereta Api Jarak Jauh Non Subsidi: Studi pada Konsumen Layanan Kereta Api di Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta

The purpose of this study is to ascertain whether price, promotion, and service quality have an impact on students at Muhammadiyah University in Surakarta's purchase decision to buy non-subsidized long-distance train tickets. Survey research is the method utilized in this study, which employs quantitative research. A questionnaire will be used to get information from respondents. The sampling technique used is a non-probability sampling technique. This research used a sample of 129 respondents. The data processing used in this research uses multiple linear regression analysis, t test, and F test which is processed using the SPSS version 26 application. The results of the t-test in this study showed that while promotion and service quality variables had a positive and substantial impact on purchasing decisions, price variables had no visible effect on those decisions. The study's F test findings show that the combination of price, promotion, and service quality significantly influences consumers' decision to buy.

The Effectiveness of The Multi-Way Question and Answer Method to Increase Student Activity in Online Lectures

The multi-directional question and answer method is one method that can be used to increase student activity in online lectures. The multi-way question and answer method is a way of presenting the material to be studied in the form of questions that must be answered. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing the multi-directional question and answer method to increase student activity in online lectures in child and adolescent development psychology at UIN Surakarta. This research is qualitative in nature and to strengthen the findings descriptive statistical data was used. Data collection was carried out through three steps, namely interviews, observations, and questionnaires in form. The results obtained show that the application of the multi-directional question and answer method in the online lecture process of child and adolescent development psychology at a state islamic university in Surakarta can increase student activity. The indication can be seen from the number of students who asked and also answered questions, as evidenced by the results of the questionnaire, which showed that the indicators for visual activity, listening activity, writing activity and oral activity achieved a presentation above 75% which was in the very good category, while the mental activity indicator was very good. It shows results of 75%.

Analysis of Students’ Self-Regulated Learning on Prospective Elementary School Teachers’ Gender Differences

Eliminating gender in education is one of the SDGs’ (Sustainable Development Goals) targets in which previous research has examined gender in its correlation to achievement, learning outcomes, learning processes, and learning styles. One thing that is necessary but has not been investigated by previous researchers is the factor causing the differences in the correlation significance in the form of ways of learning and self-awareness as part of Self-Regulated Learning. This research was conducted to investigate the causal relationship between the Self-Regulated Learning of the students of the Department of Primary School Teacher Education of a state university in Surakarta in the 2022/2023 academic year and their genders. This research used a quantitative approach with a comparative research type. The population in this study were all the students of the Department of Primary School Teacher Education in the 2022/2023 academic year using Cluster Random Sampling as a sampling technique. Data collection techniques used closed and direct questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the calculation results of the Independent Sample T-Test, a significant value of 0.267 0.05 was obtained, and the t count was 1.125 F table of 1.717. The results showed that the Self-Regulated Learning ability of the students of the Department of Primary School Teacher Education in the 2022/2023 academic year has the same average, so the ability of Self-Regulated Learning cannot be differentiated according to gender.

Comparative Analysis of Student Understanding Levels Using Lecture, Group Discussion and Information Technology- Based Methods of Postpartum Care Education at 'Aisyiyah University Surakarta

Postpartum care is one of the most essential subjects in midwifery program which student needs to obtain. This provides students with abilities based on concepts, attitudes, skills and the results of critical thinking as well as an evidence base in practice. This study aims to analyze the comparison of students' understanding levels using information technology-based, lecture and group discussion methods about postpartum care education at 'aisyiyah Surakarta University, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used was data collection ,form of interviews and questionnaires, related to midwifery care material/competencies using lecture, group discussion and information technology-based methods with a total of 37 students as respondents. Calculation the level of understanding using a Likert Scale, Validity Test (T-count, T-table) and Reliability Test, to find out the results of a comparison of learning models with lecture, group discussion and information technology-based methods. Results : The level of understanding using the lecture method is 81%, 94% in the group discussion method and 100% in information technology-based methods. Conclusion : It can be concluded that the learning model which is most in demand by students and has a strongly high level of comprehension was using information technology-based methods.

Gambaran Tingkat Pengetahuan Tentang Periksa Payudara Sendiri (SADARI) pada Mahasiswi Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Surakarta

Breast cancer has a fairly high mortality and is a type of malignancy that often attacks women. Breast cancer is a type of malignant disease that is very feared by women because breast cancer ranks first after cervical cancer. The magnitude of the problem of breast cancer incidence requires health intervention in the form of national management. One of the efforts to control breast cancer is to use breast self-examination (BSE), which women can do themselves as an effective and safe early detection tool for breast cancer. This study aims to describe the level of knowledge about Breast Self-Examination (BSE) among female students at 'Aisyiyah University, Surakarta. This study used a quantitative descriptive method, with a study population of 1,160 female students with a total sample of 92 respondents, and used a stratified random sampling technique. By using a questionnaire that is distributed directly by researchers who are distributed randomly. The results of the research on 'Aisyiyah Surakarta University students showed that 47 respondents (51.1%) had a good level of knowledge, the sufficient category was 28 respondents (30.4%). As for the lacking category, there were 17 respondents (18.5%). The conclusion of the respondents was that the majority of female students got good knowledge.

Peningkatan Motivasi Belajar melalui Program Pendampingan Pembelajaran Bagi Siswa Sanggar Belajar PPWNI Klang Malaysia

Limited access to formal education coupled with the lack of teaching staff at the Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) study center has an impact on the decreased interest and motivation to study for children of migrant workers, especially those at the Pusat Pendidikan Warga Negara Indonesia (PPWNI) in the Klang region of Malaysia. This community service activity aims to help teachers at PPWNI Klang increase student learning motivation. Community service activities take the form of student learning assistance by involving Muhammadiyah Surakarta University students who take part in the Overseas KKN-Dik program. The learning methods applied during the learning assistance activities consist of 5 (five) stages, namely: (1) direct learning assistance to students on some subject matter which most students find difficult to understand, such as subjects: Mathematics, English, Science, and Physical Education; (2) discussion and question and answer; (3) Ice Breaking; (4) the method of giving interesting and fun quizzes to motivate student learning that is oriented towards the subject matter; and (5) giving rewards in the form of praise (oral) or gifts (goods). The results of this community service activity showed an increase in students' interest and motivation in learning, in addition to the observational data on 50 randomly selected students stated that learning assistance by involving students provided inspiration and students' interest in the world of education so that all students were interested in continuing their studies. higher education level. In addition, students increasingly understand the importance of education, especially in achieving future goals.

Exploration of Student Algebraic Thinking In Terms Of Implusive Reflective Cognitive Style

Algebra is the part of mathematics that helps represent problems. Learning algebra is crucial since it has numerous applications outside of mathematics and in daily life. The subject of algebra is one that students need to master. The purpose of this study was to reveal the ability of algebra students' thinking profiles in solving math problems in terms of cognitive style reflective and impulsive. The subjects of this study were 32 students at a university in Surakarta. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The instruments in this study were the MFFT test (Matching Familiar Figure Test), algebraic tests, and interviews. The results showed that 1) Students who have a reflective cognitive style and students who have an impulsive cognitive style can fulfill two indicators of algebraic thinking, namely functional thinking, generalization, and justification. 2) Students who have a reflective cognitive style are more systematic in working on problems. Meanwhile, students who have an impulsive cognitive style are more likely to write only the final result.

Analisis keterampilan short service backhand pada bulutangkis

The ability to hit short service backhand in the badminton UKM Muhammadiyah Surakarta University is not known at the level of athlete's ability. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability level of short service backhand. This research is a quantitative descriptive research with a survey method. The instrument used is the badminton short service test. The population is 60 people, the sampling technique in this study uses a purposive sampling technique so that the total sample is 40 people. The data analysis technique used in this study is percentage descriptive statistics. The result of this study is the "Very Good" category with a percentage of 2.5% (1 person). Category "Good" with a percentage of 25% (10 people). "Medium" category with a percentage of 37.5% (15 people). "Less" category with a percentage of 35% (14 people). Category “Less once” 0% (0 people). The conclusion of this study is for coaches to train short serve in a training program repeatedly, this aims to improve the ability to hit short serve, so that during a match the player does not make many mistakes, because short serve is the early determinant of the game.

Addressing Beliefs in the Implementation of Artifical Intelligence in Visual Communication Design: Theory of Planned Behaviour Perspectives

The current situation of social development demands digitalization in all aspects of public life. The use of technology in education has some potential for improving cognitive abilities that emerge as essential benefits in the form of emotional and social perspectives. In this regard, as a foundation of cultural and learning process, education may serve as a starting point for the competent and aware deployment of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The descriptive qualitative study used to explore lecturers’ beliefs in the use of artificial intelligence for higher education especially in Visual Communication Design educational context. The data was collected through a semi structured interview with seven Visual Communication Design lecturers from state University in Surakarta. The result showed that the lecturers had positive beliefs towards the use of Artificial Intelligence in Education. According to the findings, the lecturers found that there were possibilities to have both advantages and disadvantages in the process. In doing so, the participants believed that AI was eligible to support cognitive skills although several factors can facilitate and hinder the implementation of the use of Ai in education.

The Effect of Work Environment, Work Conflict, and Workload Towards Occupational Stress among Private Universities Lecturers in Surakarta City

This study aims to determine the effect of environment, conflict, and workload towards Occupational Stress among private Universities Lecturers in Surakarta City. Sampling was conducted with convenience method. There were 100 lecturers from private universities in Surakarta participated in this study. Data was analyzed using the Smart PLS3 application. The study results show that work environment influenced the occupational stress of lecturers. The work environment influenced the lecturers’ workload. Work conflict affected the workload. Work conflict affected occupational stress of lecturers. Workload affected occupational stress of lecturers. Conclusion In overall, hypothesis test results show that all determined models contributed to a significant effect. The highest variable for occupational stress during the Covid 19 pandemic was the work environment. Based on this result, universities should improve the facilities to support the safety and convenience of the work environment. The work conflict variable had a higher influence value on lecturer workload therefore the role of leader in tertiary management was highly important in anticipating prolonged conflicts in the work environment to prevent interference on the quality of performance and quality of universities.

The Relationship of Lecturer’s Communication Pattern and Peer Group Communication Intensity to Learning Interest in Online

Online learning is learning that is developed with the aim that learning can be carried out without any time and space constraints. Utilization of information technology is one of the keys to the success of online learning. However, there are also weaknesses in online learning which can reduce student interest in learning. Barriers to the ability of lecturers to communicate learning materials, communicate with students, and the togetherness of students in peer groups among them are factors that play a role in student interest in learning online. This research is a descriptive correlative research with the aim of describing the communication patterns of lecturers, the intensity of peer group communication, student interest in learning and analyzing whether or not there is a relationship between lecturer communication patterns and peer group communication intensity with student learning interests at the Universitas Surakarta (Surakarta University). The research sample was 60 students majoring in Communication at the Universitas Surakarta class of 2019 and 2020 which were determined using the proportional random sampling technique. Research data collection using a questionnaire, and data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis using the Spearman Rank correlation test. The conclusion of the study is that there is a direct and significant relationship between lecturer communication patterns and the intensity of peer group communication with student interest in learning at the Universitas Surakarta.

ANALISIS KOMPONEN UTAMA UNTUK MENENTUKAN VARIABEL YANG BERPENGARUH TERHADAP CITRA PROGRAM STUDI ARSITEKTUR UNIVERSITAS SURAKARTA

Main component analysis can be used to facilitate agencies in making decisions in improving the services to be provided because with the main component analysis it can focus on only a few main components of the many variables that affect the level of public image. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. This research was conducted at the Architecture Study Program at the University of Surakarta (UNSA), with primary data as a source of data which was conducted by distributing questionnaires to applicants in the Architecture Studies program at the University of Surakarta which contained 6 questions representing 6 specific variables. The data obtained from this study were analyzed using the principal component analysis method. With the principal component analysis method, two main components are formed, namely the first main component, the variable coefficient of X1 (relatively cheap tuition fees), X2 (There are afternoon classes or employee classes), X3 (Lecturers who are competent in their fields), X4 (Accreditation). ) respectively are 0.499, 0.456, 0.360 and 0.473 with variable scores/values X1, X2, X3, X4 are 0.702, 0.641, 0.506 and 0.665. These four variables are included in the internal components that form the image of the Surakarta University Architecture Study Program. The second main component, the coefficients of the variables X5 (complete supporting facilities) and X6 (strategic campus location) are -0.489 and 0.659 respectively and scores are -0.571 and 0.768, these two variables are included in the external components of the program image.
