Vitamins and minerals boost the immune system, support normal growth and development, and help cells and organs do their jobs. The aim of this research was to create awareness on importance of vitamins among kids. Objectives are to assess the knowledge regarding importance of vitamins for health among children in experimental group, to assess the level of knowledge regarding importance of vitamins among control group, to evaluate the effectiveness of video assisted teaching on knowledge, to associate the knowledge level with demographic variables. True Experimental - pretest posttest control group design was used in this study. The findings indicated that knowledge increased in posttest was highly significant at p< 0.001 level (t=7.131) after intervention and the mean score was increased to 29.29. There was significant association were found between the level of knowledge among children with family type at p<0.05 level.
