The scattering intensity distribution of an ideal pseudo-crystal of a polymer can be represented in a low angle X-ray picture (LAX) as 3 components which individually depend on the shape of the respective edge of the pseudo-crystal. These components can be graphically illustrated (like the whole LAX) in the case of simple supermolecular structure models. The models of fibrils with pseudo-crystals as rectangular and “chevron shaped” parallelopipeds are examined here. The characteristic features of the LAX of all the models are evaluated for the purpose of identifying any of the structures in real systems.
