The dielectric dispersion has been studied over the range 50 cycles to 100 kilocycles for the following liquids: tolyl xylyl sulfone, pentachlorobiphenyl, hexachlorobiphenyl, and solutions of tolyl xylyl sulfone in supercooled o-terphenyl. The results in all three cases conformed to the unsymmetrical dispersion equation of Davidson and Cole. A possible explanation for the deviation from Debye-type behavior is discussed.
