Pengimplemantasian Manajemen Mutu Pendidikan di SMA Negeri 2 Plus Panyabungan

This research aims to describe the implementation of education quality management at SMA Negeri 2 Plus Panyabungan, Mandailing Natal Regency. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The main respondents consisted of the Deputy Principal and several relevant teachers. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation, including the use of school social media as an additional source. This research found that quality management planning at SMA Negeri 2 Plus Panyabungan involved all parties in the organization, from leadership to subordinate staff, in formulating the school's vision, mission and goals. Implementation of quality management uses Total Quality Management (TQM) principles, such as focusing on customers (students and parents), continuous improvement, and a data-based approach. The PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) model is also applied as a systematic approach to improving the educational process. The research results show that the implementation of education quality management is very important in facing the challenges of globalization and technological developments. Effective integrated quality management can improve the quality of education, producing graduates who are academically competent and ready to face the dynamics of the world of work. Therefore, this study provides recommendations to policy makers and education observers to improve the quality of education through integrated and sustainable quality management. In evaluating SMA Negeri 2 Plus Panyabungan, it is the principal who carries out the assessment of teachers, namely in accordance with the SKP or assessment performance standards.

Coordination of the head of district in administering government in Parigi, Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi Province

This study aims to determine the coordination of head of district (Camat) in administering government in Parigi District, Parigi Mourong Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Taking informants by determining five people as informants. In order to obtain the data, we used Dann Sugandha’s theory about internal coordination and external coordination, and also used observation, interviews, and documentation in data collection methods. To maintain the objectivity of the study, we used the data analysis technique of Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The study reveals that internal coordination between the head of district and his subordinate staff in the form of providing reports, providing suggestions and proposals, providing instructions has been carried out well. External coordination was coordination carried out between the District Government and the government in the Parigi District area. External coordination between the district governments has not been implemented optimally because there remains weaknesses or lack of coordination in the administration of government between the district government and the government in the Parigi district area which has not been implemented well, so development has not been optimal.

Formation of Practical Readiness of Future Officers to organize Forms of Physical Training with Servicemen of different age groups

According to the results of the analysis of the scientific and methodical literature, it was established that an insufficient number of scientific and methodical works are devoted to the actual issue of the formation of theoretical knowledge and practical skill s of the organization of the physical training system with the future subordinate staff by those obtaining higher education of higher military educational institutions.
 The main goal of the study is to develop organizational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of practical training of future officers in the direction of their organization of forms of physical training with an emphasis on the use of modern technical means of training and fitness technologies.
 As a result of theoretical research, we have developed organizational and pedagogical formations of practical training of future officers in the direction of their organization of forms of physical training (with an emphasis on the use of modern technical means of training and fitness technologies) with future subordinate personnel. We expect that the introduction of the proposed organizational and pedagogical conditions into the system of physical and special physical training of the representatives of the studied category will contribute to the formation of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of organizing forms of physical training with servicemen of different age groups (categories). In addition, in the future it is possible for future officers to organize occupational therapy activities with military personnel of various categories after treatment of injuries, illnesses, and wounds.

Influence of Strategic Capability on Competitive Advantage Of Cut flowers Exporting Firms in Nairobi, Kenya

The study sought to explore the influence of strategic capabilities on competitive advantage of cut flower exporting companies in Kenya. Specific objectives of the study were: To assess the influence of human resource capability on competitive advantage of cut flower exporting companies in Kenya; To determine the influence of financial capability on competitive advantage of cut flower companies in Kenya; To establish the influence of knowledge management on competitive advantage of cut flower exporting companies in Kenya; To assess the influence of financial capability on competitive advantage of cut flower exporting companies in Kenya and to establish the influence of technological capability on competitive advantage of cut flower exporting companies in Kenya. It was anchored on the theories of Resource Based Theory (RBT); Dynamic Capability and Human Resource Theory. The target population was 228 composed of directors, marketing managers, financial officers and accountants as well as supervisors. A sample size of 70 respondents was used. The primary data was collected using a questionnaire pretested for validity and reliability. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics where data was coded and descriptive statistics generated using Statistical Packages for Social Sciences. Results were presented using, tables. The study found that human resource capabilities and knowledge management capabilities have positive and significant influence on competitive advantage of cut flower exporting companies in Kenya. Financial capability had a negative significant influence while technological capabilities had positive but insignificant influence on competitive advantage of cut flower exporting companies in Kenya. The study recommended that firms should strive to cultivate organizational capabilities. Recommendation is made to the cut flower firms’ management to come up with ways and procedure to enhance the capabilities of individual players such as the managers and subordinate staff in terms of technology, knowledge management capabilities and financial capabilities.

Leadership styles, organisational rewards and employees’ commitment in academic libraries

This study investigated leadership styles, organisational rewards and employees’ commitment in academic libraries in Nigeria. The descriptive study adopted a total enumeration sampling technique. All of the 218 staff of academic libraries in Ondo State were covered by the study; 153 (70.2%) responded to the study. The Organisational Commitment Questionnaire developed by Allen and Meyer was used for data collection. The study found that the extent of the leadership styles adopted by the heads of libraries was moderate. Heads of libraries and subordinate staff had conflicting opinions about the extent of employees’ commitment and organisational rewards given to employees. The study found a significant relationship between leadership styles and employee commitment, and between organisational rewards and employee commitment in academic libraries in Nigeria. It is recommended that academic libraries should be democratic in their leadership approach and reward employees fairly for their efforts so as to ensure maximum employee commitment.

Analytical Study of Banking Business in India

This paper, is devoted to the most important banking legislations for the day-to-day functioning of the State Bank of India, with respect to personnel policies. Special attention is given on the rules for the employees of State Bank of India and sortie important rules concerning functioning of the Bank. Department - The responsibility for the effective working and proper control over the cash department vests in the Cash Officer; under overall administrative control of the Branch Manager / Accountant. The work entrusted to the subordinate staff should be carried out in immediate presence of the Cash Officer, Deputy Cash Officer, Assistant Head Cashier or the Cashiers as the case may be. They are not at any time allowed to handle cash or other valuables independently.

Leading, but are there followers? Exploring the influence of heads of departments on staff and students in Ghanaian higher education institutions.

This research investigated followers' expectations of their heads of departments (HoDs) and how they felt about the fulfilment of the expectations within the context of Ghanaian higher education. It further explored the nature of the challenges the HoDs faced as they tried to meet followers' expectations. The research used a phenomenological design and engaged 36 participants selected from three large Ghanaian universities to participate in individual interviews. Data were analysed using the interpretative phenomenological analytical technique. The research revealed that while the subordinate staff expected a more supportive work environment, the students wanted a more conducive learning environment. The HoDs were, however, constrained to do much because of the ethos of the Ghanaian HE sector. The study concluded with recommendations informing policy and practice, both locally and internationally.

Subordinate Support Staff as Primary ‘Internal Custodians’ of Academic Performance, Social and Emotional Development among Students in Primary and Secondary Schools in Uasin-Gishu and Trans-Nzoia Counties, Kenya

The current study examined the integral role of subordinate support staff in primary and secondary schools in Kenya on the overall academic performance and social and emotional well-being of students. A total of 80 student respondents currently attending tertiary institutions in Uasin-Gishu and Trans-Nzoia Counties in Kenya were interviewed using an on-spot questionnaire. The findings indicate a near 'fanatical,' 'nostalgic,' and 'emotional' attachment of the student respondents to almost all the various subordinate support staff they interacted with in their formative educational years. Respondents enrolled in boarding schools at an early age reported strong 'emotional' and 'social support' from especially matrons, cooks, and drivers who acted primarily as caregivers. The relationship between students and subordinate staff developed to the extent of students assigning 'nicknames' to some of them. In one of the primary and secondary schools, the school bus was assigned the names 'monkey cage' and 'Lucy.' The student respondents ranked the following subordinate staff as follows:

 The results show that 97% of student respondents acknowledged the significant role of subordinate support staff in promoting the overall academic performance and social and emotional development of students in primary and secondary schools in Kenya. The study concludes that the presence of subordinate support staff in the various educational institutions attended by the student respondents had a beneficial effect allowing them to have a more active role in interactions with adults.

Application of Tacit Knowledge Management Styles Towards Sustainability in Selected Classified Hotels in Mombasa City County, Kenya

Tacit knowledge management creates unique products and procedures that differentiate an organization from its competition. This study investigated the adoption of tacit knowledge management styles on competitive advantage in classified hotels. Cross-sectional descriptive survey design was employed with questionnaires, interview Schedules and secondary sources as data collection tools. Target population was 5911 participants involving managers, supervisors, subordinate staff and guests, where a sample of 835 respondents was drawn. The was summarized into themes per specific objectives and descriptive analysis employed on demographic characteristics. Pearson correlation analyses evaluated the relationships between the variables. Multiple regression evaluated moderating variable effect on predictor and dependent variables relationship. The findings indicated a positive significant correlation between tacit knowledge creation and competitive advantage (P=0.0001<0.05). The F-calculated for the two models was higher than the F-critical, where model 1 was F=11.475> 2.45 and model 2 was F=6.247 > 2.18. These models produced strong fits for the study data and hence could be applied in forecasting the moderating effect of organizational factors on the association between tacit knowledge management and competitive advantage. The resulting R-value was 0.927, and further indicated a high correlation degree between the Tacit Knowledge Creation and Competitive Advantage. The resulting R2 (Square) value obtained was 0.859, indicating that the predictors explained 85.9% of Competitive advantage. Therefore, this meant that other elements which were not covered by this research accounted for 14.1%of the competitive advantage matrix. The study recommended that the policy makers propose application of these techniques for competitiveness.

Effect of Workplace Security on Employee Performance at Vihiga County Referral Hospital

The purpose of this study was to establish the effect of workplace security on employee performance at Vihiga County Referral Hospital. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design. The study targeted employees of Vihiga County Referral Hospital which comprise of administration (15), technical staff (157) and subordinate staff (136). Therefore, the target population was 308 employees. The researcher obtained the sample size using Yamane formulae (1967) to arrive at 174 respondents. The study employed stratified and simple random sampling techniques. A simple random sampling technique was used to select the sample of the other employees. Stratified sampling was used to achieve desired representation from various subgroups in the population. The study used a structured questionnaire to collect the primary data. Data was then analyzed through the use of descriptive and inferential statistics with the aid of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 24.  The presentation of the findings was done by frequency distribution tables and diagrams, pie charts, and bar graphs. The study findings revealed that workplace security has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Hospital management should involve their employees in staff capacity building training to increase the staff employability and hence increase the feeling of employees feeling secure. Staff are required to wear protective cloth, use equipment and tools provided for their work, and report any contravention of the law by management. The relationship between mission and performance of Christian faith-based hotels in Kenya

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the mission and Performance of Christian Faith-Based Hotels (CFBHs) in Kenya. Mission defines a significant long-term direction for the organization. There is little research that has been done on the relationship between the Mission and Performance of CFBHs in developing countries like Kenya. The objective of the study was to assess the relationship between the mission and Performance of Christian Faith-Based Hotels in Kenya. The study was guided by Denison’s organizational model and used the mixed methods approach guided by a cross-sectional survey research design. The population of this study was 1950 staff members, (72 managers and 1878 subordinate staff) from 24 Christian Faith-Based Hotels in Kenya. Stratified sampling was used where 322 subordinate staff were selected proportionate to the strata size while all the 72 managers were included in the study yielded a total of 394 respondents. Simple random sampling was used to select respondents in each stratum. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings revealed that the dimensions of the mission had a significant influence on the performance of CFBHs in Kenya with a coefficient estimate of 0.325 and a critical ratio of 5.412 which is greater than the 1.96 Z score at a 5% level of significance. This study concluded that there is the relationship between mission and the performance of Christian Faith-Based Hotels in Kenya and recommends that more studies on Christian Faith-based Hotels be done.

Nurses’ Experiences in Service Provision a COVID-19 Dedicated Tertiary Public Hospital

Objectives: To assess the nurses’ experiences in service provision a COVID-19 dedicated tertiary public hospital. Materials and Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in one tertiary level public hospital namely Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), Dhaka, Bangladesh from January to December 2021. Data were collected through face-to-face interview using a structured questionnaire containing demographic details and experiences faced by the nurses in service provision during COVID-19. Data was analysed by using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) software version 23. Results: The findings revealed that the mean age of the respondents was 32.35 ± 7.248 years, the minimum age was 23 years and maximum age was 58 years. About half of the respondents 52.1% were in 21 - 30 years. The majorities 89% were female. More than half of the respondents 72.6% were Muslim and 63.83% of respondents have completed Diploma in nursing. About 32.2% respondents were living with senior citizen, 33% respondents were infected by COVID-19, 24.23% respondent mentioned nurse-Patient ratio in general ward was 1:7 and 71.08% mentioned nurse-patient ratio in I.C.U/C.C.U. was 1:3 (December 2021). PPE were available among 88.0% respondents and N95 mask were available among 84.0% respondent. About 34.8% respondents got COVID-19 guideline training and 32.4% got donning and doffing training. More than half of the respondents 76% stated that equipment is adequate, 56.38% respondents mention that insufficient of nurses and 53.7% were mentioned insufficient of subordinate staff. About 22.6% respondents faced social stigma and majorities 96.5% respondents mentioned they got proper family support. There was a significant association found between Professional educational qualification and satisfaction of current designation (p value = 0.001 < 0.05). Conclusion: The most important findings of this study was lack of training, insufficient of manpower especially nurses and subordinate staff, high nurse-patient ratio and fear about personal and family safety. The findings of the study will be helpful for the authority in planning for future course of action.

Aspects Of Employee's Motivation In Tourist Services

Employee motivation is "a science" whose role has proven, over time, to be a very important one. Sometimes recruiting employees is easy, but keeping them more difficult. Keeping employees in the company, creating with their help competitive products on the market, keeping the company in the top, depend to a great extent on how the employer/manager understands the importance of motivating the subordinate staff and knows that he must search, discover and apply those motivational techniques that are in line with employees' expectations. Why the motivation? Because motivation is an essential element in all fields of activity, especially in the tourism industry, where it is a priority coordinate. Motivation comes from within everyone, from the innermost recesses of the human being and is deeply rooted in the desires and needs of man.

Impact of transformational leadership practice on management of secondary schools under zhemgang dzongkhag

Bhutanese principals faced several challenges in course of their jobs. This has led to managerial issues and mismanagement at schools. The impact of principals’ transformational leadership practice on the administration of Bhutanese schools is discussed. The study had three goals: to investigate the impact of principals’ TLP on teachers’ commitment; to determine the impact of principals’ TLP on school physical resource management; and to determine the impact of principals’ TLP on school financial resource management. Transformational leadership theory, which elucidates what leaders do to attain bigger magnitudes of growth in their institutions, served as the theoretical basis. The study employed a descriptive survey research approach. The study’s target population is 10 Bhutanese secondary school administrators (Principals) and 110 teachers. Questionnaires for teachers, focus groups for teachers, and interview schedules for principals were employed to collect data. The research produced both qualitative and quantitative information. The findings demonstrated that principals’ TLP had a favorable link with teachers’ commitment, physical resource management, and instructional material resource management in schools under Zhemgang Dzongkhag. The study’s findings are expected to show that teachers perform better as a result of being motivated, inspired, and appreciated; students perform well as a result of a positive learning environment; and principals have an impact on the commitment of subordinate staff to work and the upkeep of school resources.

MANAGEMENT COMPETENCE OF THE FUTURE SERVICE MANAGER: ORGANIZATIONAL AND METHODMETHODICAL COMPONENTS

The article presents an analysis of the process of formation of managerial competence of future specialists in the field of service (on the example of hotel and restaurant business) in the course of professional training in institutions of higher and higher education. Based on the research of scientists on the training of future specialists in the field, a number of organizational and methodological competencies have been identified; the definition of "managerial competence of future service managers" is interpreted as a multicomponent dynamic combination of management knowledge, organizational skills, skills to train staff, ways of thinking, views, values, relevant personal qualities, implemented at the level of higher education 24 "Service Area 24" "Hotel and restaurant business. It is proved that structurally such competence is an integrated set of integrated, general ("soft" skills) and special ("hard" professional, subject, managerial and professional skills) competencies and determines the ability of the future manager to successfully conduct professional activities, purposefully improve professional the level of management and leadership in his subordinate staff of the hotel and restaurant company, build a career and create your own concept of success in life. The organizational competencies include the following: knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the organization of the process of providing services, forms, tools, methods and techniques of organizing the cognitive activities of staff; structure, psychological and pedagogical aspects of communication in the enterprise or the entrusted team; types of formal, semi-formal and informal methods of decision-making and implementation; ability to analyze organizational environments, prepare strategic and operational plans, appropriate measures and procedures; implement tasks based on the positive aspects of each employee. To methodical competences - mobility of knowledge (constant updating of the information for the successful decision of problems in concrete conditions); flexibility of methods (application of methods depending on conditions), critical thinking (creativity, non-standard, originality of design), responsibility for actions and decisions.

Dynamic Capabilities and Customer Satisfaction in Stock Investment Firms, Nairobi City County, Kenya

An investment firm is expected to bring profit and benefits to the investors. If the investment firm remain to be true and to bring in consistent benefits that are risks free over time then the investors are confident to invest more financial assets in the firm. This means that the clients or customers are satisfied with the services of the firm. But in Kenya, there is a low level of customer satisfaction with the investment companies. The low level of customer satisfaction has grown tremendously in Kenya. This has affected the firms and also the economic growth of Kenya, for investment firms is a strong backbone of Kenyan economic growth. Dynamics capabilities are expected to improve customer satisfaction. On this background this study endeavored to establish the influence of dynamic capabilities on customer satisfaction of Investment Firms in Kenya. The specific objectives of the study were; to establish the effect of learning capabilities, integration capabilities, innovation capabilities and strategic alliances on customer satisfaction. The study utilized an explanatory research design to determine how the identified dynamic capabilities affect customer satisfaction in investment firms in Nairobi city county, Kenya. The study was explained by the theory of dynamic capabilities and resource based view. The target population in the study included 135 investment firms that are registered under Nairobi Security Exchange. Stratified random sampling and purposive sampling were used to select the sample size of 56 investment firms from the target population and 168 target respondents respectively. This research employed both primary and secondary data. Primary data was gathered with the help of semi-structured questionnaires. These included both closed and open ended questions. This study used both quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative data was analyzed by use of both descriptive and inferential statistics by use of statistical package for social sciences (SPSS version 22). The study findings showed that learning capabilities, integration capabilities, innovation capabilities and strategic alliances have a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction. It was concluded that encouraging participative decision making between among all staff leads to improved customer satisfaction. It was also concluded that having open forums during which staff share ideas is important as it enhances customer satisfaction. Moreover, it was concluded that having both the senior and subordinate staff involved in setting organizational goals leads to customer satisfaction. It was further concluded that having all stakeholders are invited on board to take part in strategic planning improves customer loyalty. The study recommended that Investment firm’s management should encourage participative decision making between among all staff to enhance customer loyalty. It was further recommended that firms should implement open forums during which staff share ideas to enhance customer satisfaction. The management should be aggressive in revision of firm goals and activities.

Perceived Organizational Support and Work Engagement of First-Line Managers in Healthcare - The Mediation Role of Feedback Seeking Behavior.

BackgroundFirst-line managers play a significant role in the management system of a health-care organization because they provide support and bridge for both senior management and their subordinates. Their work engagement becomes the foundation of facility functioning, encompassing both meeting organizational goals and the patient-centered care approach, but also meeting the expectations and needs of subordinate staff. The purpose of our study is to examine the relationship between perceived organizational support and work engagement of first-line health-care managers and the deeper mechanisms in the form of feedback seeking behavior that may positively influence this relationship.MethodsData collection was carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey in the period February 2021. Respondents were first-level medical managers from different types of clinical areas and from all Slovak hospitals (221). The PLS-SEM method was used to analyze paths between variables and to analyze direct and indirect effects using SmartPLS 3.3 software.ResultsThe findings indicate a positive association of perceived organizational support and work engagement. Hypotheses about the mediation of the two components of feedback seeking behavior (monitoring and inquiring) have support in both their separate and joint mediation. At the same time, in joint mediation, a larger part of the indirect effect is transmitted by the feedback seeking behavior inquiring and thus represents a possible direction of interest for the top management of hospitals to strengthen the work engagement of their first-level managers not only for the purpose of their higher performance, but also of their job satisfaction.ConclusionPerceived organizational support enhances the work engagement of first-line managers. However, the total effect is significantly higher when feedback seeking behavior is involved not only in monitoring, but especially in inquiring.

INFLUENCE OF PRINCIPALS' LEADERSHIP STYLES ON STUDENTS' ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE IN PUBLIC SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN NJORO DISTRICT, NAKURU COUNTY

Purpose: This study investigates the influence of principals' leadership styles on students' academic performance The study was guided by the following specific objective: identify the leadership styles used by Principals in public secondary schools in Njoro District, determine the influence of Principals' leadership on the managements of schools, establish the influence of Principals' leadership on teachers' job satisfaction in secondary schools and identify the influence of Principals' leadership on the performance of students.&#x0D; Design/ Methodology/Approach: This study used descriptive survey design. Purposive sampling was used to select the school principals, while simple random sampling technique was used to sample teachers, subordinate staff and students. A total of 380 respondents were targeted by the study (constituting 20 principals, 80 teachers, 40 subordinate staff and 240 students) out of which 372 responded (20 principals, 78 teachers, 34 subordinate staff and 240 students) giving a response rate of 98%. In sampling of the students, 12 students were sampled from form three classes in the schools selected. Questionnaires and interview schedules were used as instruments for data collection.&#x0D; Findings: Principals' leadership style influences school management in that it affects staff morale and decision making which impacts on service delivery among the teaching and non-teaching staff. The study further concludes that leadership style affects job satisfaction among the staff through their participation in decision making.&#x0D; Contribution to policy and practice: The study concluded that principals should adopt the use of leadership style such as the participative style where the staff ideas are also considered in decision making. This will improve their morale and hence job satisfaction.&#x0D; Originality/Value: The study extends the literature on leadershp style and management to improve performance in learning institutions.

The quest for the ring: a case study of a new submarine control room configuration

Submarine control room layouts have remained similar across decades of operation, despite the introduction of new technologies that allow for the co-location of the sound and control room. Operation of an inwards, rather than outwards, facing ring control room configuration was examined in three scenarios: Return to Periscope Depth, Inshore Operations, and Dived Tracking. A case study design employed a serving team of qualified submariners participated in all three scenarios with high and low demand. Communications and activities in the control room were recorded and analysed using the Event Analysis of Systemic Teamwork (EAST) method. EAST models collaborative teamwork through social, information, and task networks. The results from the ring configuration were compared to an outward facing baseline of the contemporary control room layout with a separate sound and control room. The ring control room configuration increased communications between operators, leading to a more information exchanged, and more tasks completed. Practitioner summary: Control room design on submarines, and other domains, has traditionally been outward facing with supervisory staff looking over the shoulders of their subordinates. In this paper, and inward looking control room design was explored, with subordinate staff facing their supervisors. This design resulted in more information exchange and productive work.

The Critical Role of ‘Nonacademic Stakeholders’ in Fostering Overall Student Performance in Curricular and Extracurricular Assessments in Primary and Secondary Educational Institutions in Kenya

This work examined the integral role of ‘nonacademic stakeholders’ in fostering the overall performance of students in primary and secondary schools in Kenya. School teachers are generally regarded by the Kenyan public as the ‘sole custodians’ of student performance in all assignments both curricular and extracurricular. On the contrary the progressive education of a learner from nursery to secondary school is evidently a ‘wholesome’ and ‘holistic ’contribution from various stakeholders that comprises majorly; teachers, parents, and guardians. However nonacademic stakeholders that include subordinate staff, religious sponsors, old boy/girl alumni associations, health providers, Boards of Management (BOMs), Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and safety and security providers make equal significant contribution towards the eventual success of their students. In order to determine the extent of the role performed by nonacademic stakeholders 206 student respondents from a tertiary institution in Kenya were identified through a stratified random sampling technique and interviewed. The results obtained were presented using frequencies, graphs and pie-charts. The respondents reported the significant role of the nonacademic stakeholders as follows :-[( 86%, 178 students - important; 11%, 22 students - less important; 3%,6 students - not sure)].Individually the respondents ranked the following nonacademic stakeholders in order of significance; [( 14%, religious school sponsors; 8%, subordinate staff; 36%, parents; 6%, safety and security providers; 8%, old boy/girl alumni associations; 9%, Boards of Management (BOM); 6%, health providers; 13% Teachers Service Commission (TSC))].The present study concluded that overall performance in curricular and extracurricular assignments among students in Kenyan primary and secondary schools is influenced by multiple stakeholders in the education sector i.e. academic and nonacademic. The results show that 97% of all respondents viewed positively the role played by nonacademic stakeholders in promoting the overall performance of students in curricular and extracurricular assignments in primary and secondary schools in Kenya.
